February is Black History Month and you can learn more by exploring the African American Heritage Trail. The annual City budget process is underway and all citizens are encouraged to provide feedback at three public budget hearings. City Hall will be closed Monday, February 21st which means trash and recycling will be delayed by one day that week.

a

for
the
upcoming
fiscal
year
which
begins
may
1st
before
they
adopt
the
budget.
You
have
the
opportunity
to
review
the
proposed
budget
and
give
your
input
this
year.
There
will
be

in-person
budget
hearings

important
people

american
history
in

lucille
bluford,
who
led
the
kansas
city,
call
newspaper
for
five
decades
and
became
a
leading
voice
in
the
local
civil
rights
movement,
making
the
call
one
of
the
most
important
black
newspapers
in
the
nation.
