Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Through
into
session
first
thing,
we'll
do
is
we'll
have
the
secretary
call
the
role,
and
I
would
like
to
remind
members
that
when
you
call
the
role,
if
you
are
remote
verify
if
you
are
at
home
or
if
you
are
in
your
lrc
office,
anybody
that
happens
to
be
remote.
So
secretary
calderon.
D
A
A
Here
in
the
upper
corner,
thank
you.
We
do
have
a
duly
justified
quorum.
We
have
a
very
short
meeting
today.
We've
only
got
one
bill
and
I
don't
think
we
didn't
have
anybody
that
was.
We
didn't
have
anybody's
remote.
E
Your
mic
on,
thank
you,
mr
chairman.
I'm
jason
howell
senator
from
the
first
district
have
online
with
me:
keith
rogers,
who's
chairman
coral's
chief
of
staff,
he's
available
to
answer
any
questions
that
we
need.
Mr
chairman,
this
bill
just
builds
on
prior
legislation
and
prior
efforts
for
reorganization,
the
kentucky
department
of
agriculture.
E
C
A
Got
a
motion
a
second.
I
do
have
a
couple
of
comments.
I'd
like
to
make
before
we
we
take
a
vote
and
senator
howell.
I
know
whether
you
or
keith
rogers
want
to
answer
these
one
thing
that
I
think
really
stands
out
and
the
reason
I
think
this
is
a
good
bill
is,
if
you
look
at
our
grain
indemnity
fund
and
and
where
it's
located,
it's
located,
I
think
at
the
department
of
ag.
But
then
the
state
board
of
ag
is
the
one
that
has
jurisdiction
over.
A
D
Senator
hornback
that's
correct.
The
grain
insurance
fund
is
ministered
and
handled
at
the
department
of
agriculture.
D
The
investments
are
worked
with
the
finance
cabinet
and
that
annual
report
from
the
finance
cabinet
does
come
to
the
state
board
of
agriculture
annually
in
the
spring,
for
them
to
certify
the
amount
that's
in
that
fund,
which
is
right
close
to
five
million
dollars.
I
don't
have
the
exact
number
in
front
of
me,
but
it's
right
at
five
million
dollars
today.
A
And
just
for
those
who
are
watching
the
fun
we're
talking
about
is
a
grain
insurance
fund
that
is
fully
funded
funded
by
farmers
themselves,
and
so
it's
very
important
to
the
farmers
out
here.
The
grain
growers
throughout
the
state
that
that
be
administered
correctly
and
there's
not
many
programs
like
that
in
the
state
and
that's
one
that
has
really
worked
well
over
the
years.
So
thank
you,
keith.
Somebody
any
other
questions.
A
If
not,
we've
got
a
motion
on
the
bill
secretary
call
the
roll.
A
Motion
passes
one
thing
I
one
other
announcement.
I
would
like
to
make.
Congratulations,
senator
hal.
I
think
it's
your
first
bill
to
pass
committee
in
it.
A
One
thing
I
would
like
to
tell
everybody
that
having
a
little
change
this
year
on
what
we're
doing
in
the
committee,
the
committee
subs
and
amendments
will
go
out
the
day
before
the
meeting,
not
necessarily
24
hours
before
just
a
little
bit
of
change,
because
the
way
things
are
working
this
year
and
the
procedure.
So
anybody
else
got
any
comments.
Any
other
members.
A
A
Okay,
we
don't
have
to
take
any
action
on
these.
I
did
want
everybody
to
know,
and
I
wanted
dr
harrison
who's
with
uk
to
acknowledge
that
he
was
on
here
by
zoom.
Does
anybody
have
any
questions
on
these
administrative
regulations?
A
C
West,
thank
you,
mr
chairman.
I
I
don't
have
any
question.
I
do
have
a
quick
comment
and
I
just
want
to
say
I
appreciate
staff
putting
these
on
the
agenda
and
bringing
them
forward
for
consideration.
C
I
think
part
of
this.
I
can't
remember
if
we
always
did
it
this
way,
but
part
of
this
is
there's
a
new
push
as
chair
of
administrator
briggs
for
each
committee
to
specifically
take
up
regs
and
look
at
those
each
time
and
make
sure
this
is
the
committee
of
jurisdiction
for
ag
issues.
So
I
appreciate
you
putting
them
on
the
agenda
and
bringing
them
to
our
attention,
and
I
would
advocate
that
all
members
take
a
look
and
keep
their
eyes
open
as
these
regulations
flow
through.
Thank
you.
A
But
I
will
tell
you
because
of
your
work
that
you've
done,
I'm
looking
at
them
a
lot
closer
than
what
I
used
to
and
I'm
sure
the
other
members
are
too,
and
I
appreciate
what
you've
done
on
administrative
regs,
to
bring
them
to
forefront,
to
show
how
important
they
really
are,
because
you
know
we
pass
laws
but
really
where
the
work
gets
done
and
where
we
make
sure
we
got
its
right
administrative
regulations.
So
thank
you
for
your
work
on
that.
Thank
you.
A
Any
comments
on
administrative
regulations:
if
not,
they
don't
need
any
action
and
I'll
entertain
a
motion
to
adjourn
most
adjourned.
Second
motions
yarn.
