C
A
E
D
Thank
you.
As
we
know
there
are
voting
locations,
voting
centers,
starting
in
kentucky.
It
started,
I
guess,
with
the
covet
situation
and
it's
after
house
bill,
574
was
passed,
it
has
expanded
it
across
the
state
and
one
of
the
things
that
is
going
to
be
needed
going
forward,
and
it's
already
in
in
being
used
is
e.
Pullback
e
poll
books,
I
always
say:
eat
pull
books,
those
are
identification
equipment
to
identify
who's,
voting
and
whatnot
it.
D
This
is
something
that
needs
to
be
looked
at
and
how
we're
going
to
go
forward
with
these
books.
Epo
books-
I
have
two
clerks
with
me
here.
Clerks
association
is
back
in
this
that
this
bill.
This
will
give
counties
the
authority
and
the
preference
to
go
in
the
direction
they
believe
see.
They
see
fit
so
I'll.
Let
tabitha
speak
if
she'd
like
to.
E
Sure
so
what
this
bill
accomplishes
for
counties
is
very
similar
to
how
we
select
our
voting
equipment
in
the
machines
that
you
scan
your
paper
ballots
into.
E
This
also
allows
for
the
state
board
of
elections
to
supply
a
master
less
list
electronically
to
the
county
clerks
that
will
reduce
the
paper
cost
and
the
requirements
of
mailing
those
to
our
offices
and
for
us
to
have
to
keep
those
in
paper
form
for
many
years.
So
that
will
help
reduce
our
storage
and
you
know,
poll
books
are
have
really
revolutionized
how
we
vote
in
kentucky.
E
I
had
a
80
year
old
poll
worker
who
was
so
nervous
about
using
an
electronic
poll
book,
the
first
election
cycle
that
we
use
them
and
I
brought
her
to
training
with
with
10x
the
current
vendor
and
she
went
through
the
training
we
got
to
election
day
and
she
she
called
the
office,
and
she
said
I
have
to
talk
to
tabitha
right
now.
She
said:
if
you
bring
back
those
paper
rosters,
I'm
never
working
again,
she
loved
them.
E
So
you
know,
as
we
see
technology
change
and
make
our
lives
either
more
complicated
or
easier.
E
It's
it's
always
interesting
to
me
when
we
find
solutions
that
really
work
and
poll
books
is
something
that
really
works
simplified
not
only
for
the
poll
worker,
but
also
for
voters
who
come
in
as
long
as
they
have
their
id
ready.
You
scan
it.
You
come
up
in
a
matter
of
seconds,
sign
it
and
you're
on
to
get
your
ballot
and
out
the
door
to
work.
E
A
I
have
a
I
have
a
motion
by
representative
nemas
in
a
second
by
representative
moser.
All
in
favor.
All
opposed
motion
carries.
A
Got
a
motion
by
representative
nemas
second,
by
representative,
derek
lewis,
I
have
some
questions
representative,
scott.
G
Thank
you
so
much
chairman
chairman
bradshaw,
only
question
I
have
you
know
what
it
is.
What's
the
difference
between
the
original
bill
and
the
substitute.
D
Thank
you,
representative
scott.
That
is
always
a
great
question.
There's
only
one
change
it's
21
days,
the
state
board
of
elections
originally
was
had
to
produce
the
voter
file
21
days
before
the
election.
Now
it's
just
10
days,
that
was
the
only
change.
C
F
Oh
I'd
be
happy
to
take
that
sir
representative
miller.
It
helps
very
much
in
both
whenever
you
have
a
lot
of
people
going
through
and
I
just
simply
say
until
now:
e-pull
books,
e-poll
books
are
not
they're,
not
technically
voting
equipment
and
they
need
different
security
features,
but
yeah
we
need
some
some
specifications.
It.
F
Anywhere
they
want
to
can
and
obviously
that's
going
to
require
different
different
security
features
than
then
like
a
vote,
a
machine
that
tabulates
your
vote,
which
is
different,
so
they
need
to
be
updated,
so
people
people
can
stay,
and
these
machines
do
that.
So
thank
you.
Okay,.
