A
Hi
good
afternoon
everybody
can
everyone
hear
me
yep
great,
it's
12
o'clock,
I'm
gonna
ask
the
clerk.
If
we
have
everybody
required
for
the
meeting
today.
B
Thank
you,
madam
vice
chair.
We
do.
I
will
just
to
let
everyone
know
who
may
be
watching
at
home
that
counselor
hutchinson
has
sent
in
his
regrets
for
today,
but
we
do
have
the
rest
of
the
committee
members
present
and
also
for
those
who
may
be
watching.
We
do
currently
have
in
the
meeting
dan
hazel
supervisor,
licensing
and
enforcement,
derek
mcbride
property
standards
and
municipal
law
enforcement
officer
and
laurie
mccullough
is
a
licensed
paralegal.
Who
is
here
to
represent
the
appellant
this
this
afternoon
and
there's
also
one
member
of
the
public
watching.
B
A
Great,
thank
you
so
I'll
call
the
meeting
to
order
and
I'll
ask
the
panel
for
the
approval
of
the
agenda.
A
A
A
A
C
Morning,
guys,
can
you
hear
me
okay,
so
I
did
reattend
the
property
at
161
guthrie.
Last
thursday
afternoon
july
15th,
the
two
matters:
there
were
the
patio
doors
on
the
main
floor,
as
well
as
the
basement.
C
Both
of
those
had
been
affixed
since
last
visit
with
a
new
a
new
handle,
as
you
can
see
in
that
image
there,
as
well
as
a
locking
mechanism
on
the
upper
right
hand
corner,
like
I
said
both
of
those
were,
were
newly
installed
on
both
of
the
windows
or
on
the
doors.
It
should
be
noted
that
the
basement
locking
mechanism
wasn't
properly
fitted
to
the
door.
However,
the
new
handle
that
was
provided
allowed
for
locking.
So
that
is
not
that's,
not
an
issue.
The
doors
are
still
still
require.
C
Significant
force
to
open
and
close.
There
had
been
no
changes.
It
should
be
noted
also
that
we
did
receive
correspondence
from
miss
mccullough,
so
that
was
kind
of
the
the
expected
result
of
this
visit.
She
provided
us
with
documentation
from
the
contracted
company
explaining
a
delay
in
parts
as
for
the
second
piece
on
the
order,
the
two
front-facing
windows
in
the
bathroom
and
bedroom.
C
My
last
visit
did
occur
in
the
winter
months,
so
it
was
a
lot
easier
to
to
notice
a
significant
change
in
temperature
and
draftiness
from
those
windows.
My
observations
on
the
15th,
I
didn't
see
any
changes
in
the
windows
nor
the
tenant
also
confirmed
that
there
had
been
no
work
done
on
those
windows
again.
Miss
mccullough
did
provide
us
with
documentation
from
the
contractor
company,
so
that
was
the
expected
result
of
that
of
that
visit
on
the
15th.
C
A
So
just
to
confirm
both
of
the
doors
are
able
to
be
locked.
C
A
Okay-
and
can
you
just
refresh
the
panel
since
this
is
a
returning
item
when
the
your
process
started
with
this
property.
C
C
A
Okay
and
you,
we
did
have
some
written
correspondence
from
the
paralegal
who's
representing
the
property.
Have
you
had
any
other
contact
regarding
the
property
in
terms
of.
C
No
just
the
just
the
email
on
june,
the
june,
the
4th.
A
Okay
and
I'm
wondering
mr
hazel
is
with
us
today-
I'm
wondering
if
he
can
just
remind
the
committee
of
what
the
in
terms
of
the
timelines
and
what
the
choices
are.
If
we
choose
to
confirm
this
order,
what
what
would
be
the
next
steps.
D
D
There
could
be
some
issues
with
contractors
and
securing
services
along
the
way
that
the
officer
would
consider
for
appropriate
time
frames,
but
essentially,
after
that
process
it
would
be
the
prosecution.
Once
the
summons
letter
time
frame
is
elapsed,
the
next
step
would
be
to
issue
a
prosecution
charge
under
the
proper
standards
bylaw.
D
Alternatively,
another
option
would
be
if
the
committee
today
was
to
extend
the
order-
I
guess
to
the
next
month
that
would
provide
the
opportunity
time
to
the
property
owner
and
lori
and
her
staff
to
get
some
more
information
from
the
potential
contractors
in
an
actual
date,
and
at
this
current
time
I
think
the
municipality
would
be
comfortable
with
both
options.
I
mean
I'm
satisfactory
with
the
documentation
I've
seen
that
they
are
diligently
trying
to
correct
the
issues.
A
Great
it
does
thanks.
Mr
hazel.
Do
any
of
the
panel
members
have
a
question
for
mr
hazel
or
the
officer
seeing
none.
Okay,
miss
mccalla.
You
are
here
to
represent
the
the
property
owner.
Do
you
have
any
comments
for
the
panel
at
this
time.
E
No,
I
don't
really
have
anything
further.
I
think
I've
provided
everything
that
I
could
and,
as
mr
mcbride
mentioned,
we
definitely
took
the
steps
that
we
could
to
remediate
in
the
interim.
E
Tri-Bond
tells
me
that
they
have
the
installation
of
the
window
set
to
go
for
the
first
week
of
august,
so
we
I
can
tell
you
myself
personally,
that
I
really
tried
to
push
them
to
get
this
done.
There
was
nothing
that
I
could
do.
I
I
even
just
the
two
that
are
on
the
order
itself,
as
opposed
to
all
of
them.
There
was
nothing
I
could
do
to
get
it
done
and
we
went
through
extensive
measures
to
try
and
make
it
happen
with
all
the
delays.
There's
just
nothing.
It's.
A
Yeah
all
right,
thank
you
very
much.
Do
any
of
the
panel
members
have
a
question,
mr
knox,.
F
Sorry,
dems
mccalla,
the
installation
does
that
include
the
patio
doors
at
this
time.
A
Okay,
any
other
panel
members
of
the
question
miss
mccullough
I
was
just
gonna
ask:
is
there,
do
you
foresee
a
reason
why
the
installation
would
not
go
ahead?
The
first
week
of
august.
E
No,
I
absolutely
don't
and
and
tri
bond
is
very
aware
of
how
important
this
is
and
that
it
needs
to
happen.
It's
my
intention,
of
course,
to
ask
for
an
extension
on
behalf
of
my
client,
because
he
has
been
doing
everything
that
he
can
do
to
try
and
get
this
done.
I
really
don't
foresee
any
issues.
I've
spoken
with
jay
a
couple
of
times
he's
provided
the
documentation,
I'm
sure
you
all
have.
I
don't
foresee
any
further
delay.
E
Yes,
the
product
has
been
received.
The
problem
was
more
other
materials
that
were
required
and
scheduling
that
had
already
taken
place
with
the
installers
as
they
received
products
in
from
for
various
jobs.
A
E
So
so
I
can
tell
you
that
I've
been
in
pretty
good
communication
with
the
tenants
they're
very
aware
of
everything.
That's
happening.
We've
taken
care
of
some
other
things
that
they
wanted
repaired
that
are,
that
are
not
on
the
order.
That's
all
been
done
so
they're
very
up
to
date
on
everything.
A
Okay,
if
we
have
no
further
questions,
I'd
like
to
move
to
discussion,
oh
our
clerk
has
your
hand.
B
Up,
thank
you,
madam
vice
chair.
I
just
wanted
to
remind
you
that
we
do
have
a
member
of
the
public
in
the
meeting
this
afternoon
and
I
do
believe
it
is
the
tenant
just
in
case
they
had
anything
to
say
I
thought
maybe
we
could
get
them
an
opportunity
to
speak.
A
G
Yeah
yeah
yeah.
You
must
realize
that
using
like
whoever
that
guy
was
there.
That
spoke
that
I
don't
see
anymore
on
here
said
something
about
all.
This
is
being
taken.
Care
of
diligently
is
not
really
a
word
to
use.
In
this
case,
we
go
back
here
to
december
and
nothing
excuses
about
this
work.
Getting
done,
it
was
stalled
installed
installed
and
now
for
what
I
can
see
and
how
this
process
goes.
G
So
from
what
I
understand
he's
got
more
properties,
I
sure
hope
those
people
or
don't
have
to
deal
with
the
same
thing
I
just
did,
and
I
certainly
hope
the
people
who
may
come
in
here
next,
depending
on
what
this
guy
does
with
this
place,
who
don't
have
to
deal
with
this
kind
of
thing
either
I'm
leaving.
So
I'm
certainly
glad
I'm
leaving
this
place
and
I
feel
sorry
for
the
next
person.
G
I
tell
you
and
I
have
not
been
updated
on
what
is
going
on
with
replacement
as
far
as
windows
and
goes
or
any
dates.
I
was
told,
yeah.
Sorry,
it's
delayed
again.
You
may
see
something
first,
two
weeks
of
july,
maybe
end
of
the
first
week
of
august.
I
was
told
that
about
a
month
ago,
so
I
have
not
been
told
anything
since
then.
A
Okay,
thank
you
very
much
for
providing
your
perspective.
Certainly,
your
frustration
comes
through
in
your
comments,
so
I'm
going
to
move
forward
to
the
committee
the
panel
to
discuss
our
next
steps.
H
If,
if
the
work's
getting
done
as
paralegals
informed
us
in
the
first
week
of
august
and
the
city
through
it
wasn't
derek,
I'm
sorry,
I
can't
remember
which
representative
in
the
city
said
it
was
going
to
be
done
and
they
were
content
with
us
providing
extension.
I'm
I
would
be
content
to
move
for
an
extension
for
for
a
month's
time.
F
H
A
Okay,
is
there
anyone,
mr
knox,
mr
mclaren,
no
so
agreement?
Oh
mr
knox,.
A
All
right,
so
I
think
my
only
comment
would
be.
I
think
we
do
have
to
acknowledge
that
it's
been
a
long
time
since
last
december
and
I
feel
fairly
confident
with
the
assurances
and
the
letter
that
was
provided.
The
installation
will
happen
early
august,
so
I
would
also
be
supportive
of
a
motion
to
grant
one
month
to
our
august
meeting.
So,
mr
storms,
are
you
making
the
motion
for
us.
H
A
A
Okay,
great
so
we're
asking
to
extend
to
the
meeting
on
august
16th.
Do
I
have
a
seconder
mr
knox,
and
can
we
vote
in
favor
against
everyone?
A
B
A
Thank
you.
So
could
I
have
a
motion
to
adjourn
mr
storm
seconded
by
councilor
mclaren,
everyone
agrees.
Thank
you.
Everyone
we'll
see
you
next.
