property

known
locally,
as
kingston
general
hospital.
The
variances
would
allow
for
a
12-story
addition
to
the
existing
hospital
building
at
the
north
end
of
the
property
along
stewart
street.

accommodate
an
improved
helipad
on
the
roof,
which
would
streamline
emergency
services
and
patient
transfers
and
allow
for
the
removal
of
the
existing
helipad
on
public
open
space
at
the
lake
ontario
waterfronts.

expansion
represents
a
significant
investment
in
the
city
and
will
facilitate
improved
health
care
services
for
the
region.

hospital

generally
characterized
