A
So
updates
one
of
the
things
that
I
want
to
do
since
we
don't
have
an
agenda.
Cuz
I
did
not
have
been
just
all
over
the
place.
One
of
the
things
I
want
to
do
is
we
do
have
four
options
for
a
new
logo
incorporating
the
new
name
and
I
will
share
those
with
you
today
and
we
can
kind
of
go
through
and
pick
which
ones
we
want.
A
We
I
did
kind
of
want
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
bylaws
and
what
we
need
to
do
to
make
ourselves
a
real
organization.
I
wanted
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
upcoming
upgrade
we're
jumping
too
I,
think
versions
from
320
to
322,
so
that's
very
exciting
yeah
and
that's
coming
at
the
end
of
February.
A
All
right,
well,
I'll,
start
with
bylaw
stuff,
because
Chris,
if
Chris
Brannan
doesn't
make
it
Chris
Road
can
rody
kidding
I'm
in
on
that.
Hopefully
I
talked
to
Jim
Mingus
about
the
process
of
becoming
a
non-profit,
and
he
said
that
one
of
the
things
I
had
not
thought
of.
We
have
an
association.
Our
taxes
that
we
have
to
do
are
much
more
complicated
than
if
we're
a
nonprofit
organization.
A
So
that's
one
reason
to
look
into
becoming
a
non-profit
as
opposed
to
just
a
non-profit
association
or
corporation.
He
did
say,
however,
that
in
his
research
and
it's
backed
up
by
wikimedia
folks,
I
think
the
words
open-source
in
a
non-profit
application
are
pretty
much
a
guarantee
that
we
will
be
denied.
So
no
no
application
that
uses
words
and
open-source
have
been
approved
ever
so,
while,
of
course
yeah.
A
A
One
of
the
things
that
we
talked
about
in
Washington
was
using
this
group
as
kind
of
a
way
to
funnel
money
together,
so
that
we
can
pay
for
developments
collectively
we're
not
going
to
be
able
to
do
that.
As
a
group,
however,
we
can
fund
a
grant
to
a
library
to
fund
a
development.
If
that
makes
any
sense,
we.
A
B
A
A
D
D
A
Then
we'll
just
give
the
money
to
that
library
and
that
library
can
then
give
them
money
to
buy
water.
Whoever
is
developing
it
and
then,
and
it
doesn't
have
to
be
a
competitive
grant.
It
can
just
be
a
hey.
You
need
to
send
us
a
letter
saying
you
know
that
you
would
like
to
to
receive
money
to
do
this
development,
and
we
can
say
yes
we'll
give
it
to
you.
So,
okay
and
Jim
didn't
mention
this.
A
This
oh
yeah,
we're
gonna
go
ahead
and
since
creating
the
Association
here
in
Kansas,
I'm,
not
here
today
usually
he's
at
these
meetings,
but
no
reminder
was
sent
out.
So
my
bad
but
I'm
gonna
see
if
Jason
will
be
the
other.
There
have
to
be
two
people
in
the
state
who
are
authorized,
Wendy
call
it
authorized
registered
agents.
A
Basically,
we
just
have
to
have
a
address
to
send
paperwork
to
so
I'm,
going
to
ask
Jason
if
he
would
be
the
other
authorized
agent
we're
going
to
use
the
Nichols
office
as
the
official
address
for
paperwork
to
go
to
for
the
Association
part.
Once
we
get
to
the
national
nonprofit
part,
then
we
can
talk
about
if
you
know
how
we
want
to
do
that,
that
does
not
necessarily
have
to
be
the
bylaws.
A
A
We
certainly
have
enough
money
to
make
the
process
of
becoming
a
non-profit
is
in
the
going
to
be
background,
$500
$400
for
the
application
and
then
$20
for
the
Association,
all
that
good
stuff
and
we've
got
nine
hundred.
So
if
we
pay
him
100
150
we'll
still
have
a
little
seed
money
for
next
year's
conference.
So
but
that's
that
will
he
will
take
us
through
the
nonprofit
process
and
you
know
talk
county
is
calling
me
I,
wonder
if
Chris
Davis
is
trying
to
email
me.
B
A
A
So
hopefully,
he'll
be
here
in
a
moment
until
then
there
was
something
else
sort
of
related,
oh
the
mailing
list.
Maybe
maybe
we
should
wait
until
he
gets
here,
but
they
can
change
by
water.
Can
change
the
name
of
the
mailing
list,
essentially
by
creating
a
new
mailing
list
under
the
kohai
US
name
as
opposed
to
Kohana
and
then
transferring
the
membership
over.
We
will,
however,
lose
all
of
our
archives.
I,
don't
know
how
vital
that
is
so
I
thought
I
would
I
just
emailed
Larry
said:
I've
got
a
meeting
in
40
minutes.
A
I
will
present
it
to
the
membership
and
see
what
if
there
are
any
reasons
why
we
might
need
the
archives
and
I
don't
know
they
use
mail
man
I
can't
imagine
the
archives
will
disappear.
They
just
won't
be
under
the
name
kohai
us.
They
won't
come
with
the
mailing
list,
so
we'd
still
be
able
to
I
would
assume,
but
I
don't
know
how
I
was
doing
that
so
that.
A
A
B
A
Yeah
I
was
just
saying
that
the
Bywater
can
change
our
listserv
name,
but
only
basically
by
creating
a
new
list
and
porting
the
membership
over,
we
would
lose
the
archives
at
least
I'm,
not
sure
that
we'd
lose
them
completely
like
they
disappear
forever,
but
they
would
no
longer
be
associated
with
the
list.
I,
don't
know
how
important
that
is
to
everybody
else.
A
A
E
A
This
one
is
very
smaller,
but
with
the
little
logo
in
the
instead
vo,
which
is
kind
of
clever,
and
then
this
one
with
the
text
over
the
image
if
it
ever
opens
up
as
opposed
to
underneath
it.
He
said
this
one
came
out
really
small.
He
can
make
it
bigger
that
second
one
and
that
this
one
just
isn't
gonna
open
up
yeah.
It
says
no,
no
opening
for
you,
but
you
can
kind
of
see.
Hopefully
there
it's
just
the
American
flag
over
the
coho
shape
with
the
text
over
it.
B
F
A
E
E
A
F
E
E
E
B
F
A
F
A
F
A
A
A
B
F
A
E
A
F
A
A
A
A
E
B
A
Well,
we're
gonna
have
to
do
the
same
thing
and
that's
actually
one
of
the
issues
I'm
having
I
have
gone
to
one
of
my
libraries
and
change
to
the
host
and
the
port
for
the
SIP,
and
every
time
we
try
to
check
in
it
shows
up
on
the
live
server.
Not
the
test
server
like
it's
supposed
to.
So
we've
done
that
with
both
the
IP
and
the
host,
which
is
what
we're
gonna
have
to
change
everything
too,
as
well.
E
A
So
if
we
get
the
SIP
issue
fixed
because
we
can't
test
the
there's
a
couple
of
bugs
that
were
concerned
about
in
sip
that
are
supposed
to
be
fixed
in
this
new
version
and
I
can't
test
them.
So
that's
that's,
causing
some
problems
and
Heather's
doing
most
of
the
rest
of
the
testing
and
I
think
so
far.
Everything's
going
okay,
but.
C
B
B
G
B
E
A
A
B
A
A
B
A
B
A
A
B
A
The
plaque
back
end
is
is
considerably
quicker.
Of
course,
it's
considerably
quicker
on
a
well
even
on
our
test
site,
which
is
does
actually
have
all
of
our
data.
Wouldn't
heather
was
first
showing
it
to
me.
I
was
like
yeah,
it's
very
quick.
There
are
three
patrons
loaded,
that's
not
going
to
take
very
long
to
blow,
but
even
with
the
with
all
of
our
patron
data,
it
still
seems
to
be
noticeably
quicker
on
the
backend.
F
A
Just
for
patron
searches
and
back-end
check-ins,
and
that
kind
of
thing
I
don't
know
if
it
affects.
A
Don't
remember,
Heather's
doing
a
lot
of
that
testing
and
and
so
and
she's,
hitting
every
single
link
on
the
server,
because
I
think
when
she
looked
at
plaque
before
there
were
issue
and
so
she's
trying
to
so
if
she
runs
into
anything
major
I'll
and
get
a
message
out
to
the
to
the
listserv
saying
hey.
This
is
something
to
to
look
at
so.
B
A
Other
than
that
I
don't
know
as
she's
gone
through
some.
There
are
some
some
changes,
but
nothing
major,
some
stuff
that
oh
I
want
a
one
major
change.
We
had
been
doing
with
jQuery
that
we
no
longer
have
to
is,
when
you
type
in
a
query
on
the
box,
the
at
the
top
of
the
staff,
client
and
change
from
patron
or
or
check
in
or
check
out
or
search
the
catalog,
the
text
stays
there.
You
do
not
have
to
retype
the
text
that
is
now
built
into
the
system,
which
was
something
we
wanted
so
badly.
F
B
A
B
F
A
E
G
A
A
A
But
will
will
let
people
know
on
the
on
the
list
if
they
are
interested
in
joining
Nancy
and
the
folks
for
Monterey
on
the
committee
and
we'll
get
that
going
and
hopefully
get
that
started
and
I'm
going
to
send
out
an
email
to
Monterey
to
let
them
know
officially
that
they've
won
the
boat
and
give
them
some
some
starter.
Some
some
of
the
wisdom
from
last
year's.
F
F
F
F
D
F
F
E
F
A
F
A
A
D
C
H
A
H
A
And
we
are,
we
are
definitely
I'm
one
of
my
big
projects
as
a
digital
statewide
digital
project
for
recollections
Kansas.
So
that's
probably
what
what
caught
my
attention?
Speaking
of
digital
repositories,
though,
and
maybe
I,
will
try
to
get
a
link
out
either
to
the
main
list
or
to
the
kohai
us
list.
But
there
was
the
three
of
us
systems
in
Kansas,
Nichols
and
cils,
and
southeast
Kansas,
no
I'm,
sorry,
CK,
Ellis
and
then
southeast
Kansas
cycles
wrote
an
article
for
a.
A
Sorry
I
wrote
an
article
for
a
upcoming
journal
on
open
source
library
systems
and
we
wrote
basically
a
kind
of
how
we
did
Quahog
Kansas
and
that
was
accepted
late
last
week
and
I
put
it
up
in
a
list
Ellis
digital
repository,
so
it's
available
for
viewing
now
because
they
said
copyright
reverts
to
us
as
soon
as
it's
printed.
Unless
you
put
it
in
a
repository
and
then
it's
yours
now.
So
that's
what
we
did
so
I'll
try
and
send
out
a
link
to
that
see
what
what
we
wrote
about.
A
It
won't
be
published
in
the
journal
until
the
very
end
of
2016,
beginning
of
2017,
but
that
was
the
quickest
peer-reviewed
process.
I've
ever
seen,
we
turned
in
the
article
to
a
week
later,
I
had
to
peer
review
comments.
I
made
the
changes
and
updates
dated
in
an
hour
later
it
was
accepted.
So
I
have
never
seen
anything
move
quite
that
quickly.
Well,
if
so,
gay
for
them,
but
okay!
Well,
if
there's
nothing
else,.
A
B
A
C
A
Yeah,
and
so
we
had
to
collect
money
and
do
all
that,
and
we
had
some
issues
with
that
because,
as
an
organization,
we
are
not
organized
enough
to
have
to
have
a
bank
account
and
do
all
that
and
sign
contracts
and
and
that
kind
of
thing.
So
if
that
was
going
to
be
something
you
were
thinking
of,
doing
I
just
wanted
to,
let
you
know
that
that
would
be
your
organization
would
would
be
responsible
for
that.
Are
you
thinking
about
charging
anything
for
the
for
the
conference
itself?
A
A
C
C
A
A
A
What
we
we
have
done
in
the
past
is
the
winning
location,
somebody
from
their
chairs
that
committee-
and
we
have
you,
know
four
or
five
people
who
who
also
up
to
help
and
Nancy
has
already
done
so
so
well,
I'll,
try
and
see
if
we
can
get
more
people
to
volunteer
for
the
committee,
but
alright
a
lot
of
your
question
you
and
stuff
they
can.
They
have
some
experience
with
doing
this,
so
they
can.
A
C
A
Yeah,
like
that
would
probably
and
I
don't
know-
Christopher
may
be
on
the
committee
as
well
he's
not
here
today,
so
he
has
not
had
a
chance
to
share,
but
he's
been
pretty
active
as
well
in
in
the
past
committees,
so
he
may
decide
to
do
it.
He
may
decide
to
take
the
year
off.
I'd
say,
like
I
said,
he's
been
pretty
active,
so
okay.
