From YouTube: koha-US December 2021 General Meeting
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Well,
welcome
to
the
december
quahog
us
general
meeting.
Rhonda
couldn't
make
this
meeting
so
I'm
gonna
chair
today
and
first
thing
on
our
agenda.
Let
me
get
to
the
agenda
first
thing
is
under
announcements,
is
an
update
on
our
giving
tuesday
quahog
q
a
jason.
Could
you
update
us
on
that.
B
Sure,
just
so
everyone's
aware,
the
the
video
from
that
is
up.
I've
gone
through
and
added
bookmarks
to
it.
So
you
can
see
the
questions
as
you're
scrolling
along
as
long
as
you
open
it
in
youtube.
You
can
jump
around
and
see
what
we
talked
about.
We
did
raise
a
little
bit
of
money
on
that.
I
think
john
said.
Last
week
we
got
a
200
donation
so
better
than
nothing
for
sure,
and
that
that
donation
link
is
still
live
so
and
it's
still
linked
in
the
bottom
of
that
video.
B
So
if
we
get
more
donations
in
from
that
we'll
let
you
know
I
guess
john
did
you
have
anything
else
to
add
on
that.
C
No
just
that
donations
tend
to
come
in
at
the
strangest
times.
It's
like
people
see
the
link
and
they're
like.
Oh
I'm
gonna
click
on
this.
Oh,
it's
a
link
for
money.
Sure
here
have
some
money,
so
the
the
odds
of
people
donating
using
that
link
with
every
passing
day
go
down,
but
they
still
exist
and
they'll
probably
exist
until
like
the
end
of
the
year.
So
we
should
keep
the
link
open
until
then,
at
which
point
it
can
just
revert
back
to
the
standard,
donate
link.
B
And
I
think
we
had,
we
didn't
have
a
huge
amount
during
the
livestream,
I
think
anywhere
from
12
to
15
people
at
any
one
given
time.
But
I
was
looking
at
it
yesterday
because
I
sent
the
link
to
someone
and
I
think
it's
up
to
like
60
views,
so
63
views
so
far
for
the
recording,
so
people
are
watching
it
so
we're
getting
good
reach
on
that.
We
had
also
talked,
and
possibly
so.
Co-Authon
was
a
bit
of
a
bear
to
plan
so
we're
thinking.
B
Maybe
we
might
just
do
another
one
of
these
q
and
a's
in
place
of
goloth
on
in
the
spring,
so
be
thinking
about
things
we
might
want
to
cover
there.
Questions
that
you
think
would
be
good
for
that
sort
of
stream.
A
A
Okay.
So
next
thing
on
our
announcements
is
it's
time
to
put
out
a
call
for
conference
site
proposals
for
our
2022
kohai
us
conference,
and
there
is
a
link
to
get
to
the
proposal
site
proposal
form.
Let's
see.
A
We're
looking
for
it'll,
show
it'll
say
this
on
the
forum,
but
it's
a
four
day:
dual
track
conference,
just
basically
the
same
type
of
format
that
we've
had
in
the
past
sometime
between
july
and
september,
dates
between
in
those
months
and
the
proposal
deadline
is
december.
31St.
A
We
would
love
to
come
to
your
library,
your
area
of
the
country.
We've
talked
before
about
how
we've
been
west
and
it
might
be
nice
to
go
east.
A
Anything
else
to
say
about
the
conference
proposals:
anybody
have
anything
else.
B
I
just
wanted
to
mention
that
both
the
giving
tuesday
video
and
the
link
to
this
former
up
on
the
front
page
of
our
website.
So
if
you
just
go
to
cohorasheos.org,
I've
got
those
on
the
front
page.
So
if
you
need
to
get
back
to
it
quickly,
that's
where
it's
at
yeah
submit
your
location
proposals.
D
I
would
just
like
to
say
that
the
person
that
complained
about
our
choosing
texas,
because
of
legal
issues
in
texas-
I
did
politely
politely
I
I
was
polite.
I
politely
invited
them
to
submit
a
proposal
and
they
said
that
they
are
joining
a
consortium
that
does
not
use
quahog
and
are
therefore
not
interested.
So.
D
Nichols
is
putting
together
a
proposal
for
lawrence
kansas,
it's
not
as
far
east
as
I
would
like
to
go.
I
would
love
if
the
person
from
new
hampshire
had
said
here's
a
proposal,
because
I
would
love
to
go
to
new
hampshire.
I've
never
been
to
new
hampshire,
but
but
nichols
will
be
submitting
proposal,
for
you
know
right
up
there
in
that
part
of
the
part
of
the
background
that
I've
got
there.
So
wonderful.
A
C
C
If
you
are
a
2021
member
in
the
organization
you
will
receive
from
me,
probably
sometime
by
the
end
of
the
day
tomorrow,
a
membership
invitation
which
basically
has
the
information
as
we
have
it
within
our
official
roster
of
record,
and
if
all
of
the
information
on
your
membership
invitation,
renewal
form
is
correct,
you
can
go
to
the
membership
form,
just
click
a
few
buttons
and
voila
your
form
is
submitted.
C
Don't
let
the
status
bar
at
the
bottom
of
the
screen
that
says
14
screens
deter
you
or
worry
you.
A
lot
of
those
screens
are
really
relevant
only
to
those
that
are
either
brand
new
to
kohai
us
or
have
incorrect
information
on
the
information.
The
membership
renewal
form
membership
for
2022
remains
25.
C
This
is
an
amount
that
is
not
actually
set
by
the
board
directly.
Rather,
it's
encoded
within
our
bylaws,
so
if
we
do
ever
want
to
change
that
amount,
it's
actually
something
that
goes
to
the
membership.
Provo
memberships
are
all
calendar
year
based.
They
will
begin
on
either
january
1st
2022
or
whenever
your
membership
payment
is
received,
whichever
is
later
and
all
will
expire
on
december
31st
2022,
if
you
are
an
existing
member
or
are
considering
membership,
note
that
membership
renewals
are
not
automatic.
C
Memberships
are
not
transferable
and
they
are
not
refundable
and
it's
only
25.
We've
kept
the
membership
rate
reasonable.
Ever
since
the
introduction
of
membership
in
2018.,
it's
a
great
deal
for
25,
and
especially
if
you
come
to
the
annual
conference,
regardless
of
location,
you
actually
get
a
20
discount
on
your
registration
fee.
So
it's
like
membership
is
only
five
dollars.
C
It's
fantastic!
It's
great!
It's
wonderful!
And
if
you
are
an
existing
member,
we
hope
you
will
consider
renewing
your
membership
for
the
upcoming
year.
If
you
are
just
joining
us
for
the
first
time,
we
hope
you
will
consider
the
benefits
of
membership
and
we'll
sign
up
if
you
actually
go
to
our
website
and
if
you
were
to
go
to
join
us
or
become
a
member,
I
think
yes,
it's
become
a
member.
C
If
you
were
to
go
to
that
page
right
now,
you'll
actually
see
the
2022
membership
form
is
alive
and
well
so
if
you
are
brand
new
and
are
not
renewing,
this
is
the
place
for
you
to
go,
and
you
can
go
there
right
now
and
everything
should
be
all
set
to
go.
We
look
forward
to
welcoming
those
of
you
that
remembers
this
year
back
and
we
look
forward
to
welcoming
new
members
as
well
and
if
you're
joining
you
should
also
ask
a
friend
to
join.
C
Yes
thank
actually.
Barbara
brings
up
a
very
good
point
right
now,
and
this
has
actually
been
true.
Since
membership
started.
Quahog
us
only
supports
individual
memberships
consortium
level
or
institutional
level.
Memberships
are
not
available
at
this
time,
but
multiple
individual
memberships
from
any
given
library
are
certainly
welcome
and
encouraged.
E
Could
you
put
up
on
the
first
membership
screen
an
approximate
time?
It
would
take
to
complete
the
application
in
accordance
with
the
paperwork
reduction
act,
a
friend
tried
to
join
and
she
didn't
she
got
kind
of
overwhelmed
by
screen
after
screen
and
no
idea
how,
when
or
if
it
would
end
so,
she
gave
up.
C
That's
why
there's
the
status
bar
at
the
bottom
of
the
screen?
Unfortunately,
there
is
no
because
it's
a
decision
tree
thing,
there's
no
way
for
you
to
say:
oh
well,
you're
only
going
to
have
five
screens
you're
only
going
to
have
three.
I
think
the
minimum
is
actually
four
because
you
say
you're
returning.
You
say
your
information
is
correct.
C
You
acknowledge
membership,
you
acknowledge
the
responsibilities
of
of
membership
and
then
you
get
the
the
confirmation
screen
and
I
believe
it's
actually
only
11
screens
and
nobody
sees
all
11
of
them,
because
it's
segregated
out
into
renewals,
updates
and
new
members.
C
I
can
put
something
like
that
in
the
preface
of
the
work
form,
so
if
you're,
actually
looking
at
the
become
a
member
page,
you'll
see
there's
text
and
write
up
at
the
top,
I
would
actually
just
go
into
the
google
form
and
update
that
introductory
paragraph,
which
does
talk
a
lot
about
the
the
group
institutional
consortium,
memberships,
the
non-refundable
non-transferable
but
I'll-
put
a
blurb
in
there
about
how
completing
the
form
will
only
take
minutes.
C
A
D
It's
going
to
be
streamed,
live,
I
don't
know
if
there's
a
schedule
yet
I
guess
there
isn't
a
speaker's
schedule,
but
there
is
I'll
put
the
website
in
the
chat
box.
A
Yes,
I
looked,
I
couldn't
find
any
information
on
presentations
or
anything
like
that.
D
Yeah
christopher
and
I
were
originally
going
to
submit
a
proposal
to
do
a
presentation,
but
then
he
got
sick
and
we
took
some
time
off,
and
so
I
didn't
want
to
burden
him
with
that.
D
I
just
was
checking
my
facebook
page
that
I
never
checked
and
I
think
sheriff's
all
khan
thinks
that
I
might
be
doing
something
alone,
that
I
don't
know
what
I'm
going
to
do
or
what
it'll
be
about
or
he's.
You
know
I
sent
out
a
request
to.
I
don't
know
if
anybody
saw
that
or
submitted
anything,
he
was
hoping
to
get
at
least
one
or
two
proposals
for
topics
from
american
presenters,
so
it
is
in
islamabad.
D
They've
got
a
nice
countdown
clock.
It
starts
in
four
days:
17
hours,
12
minutes
and
48
seconds,
so
I
believe
it'll
all
be
online,
like
the
last
a
couple
of
quahog
cons.
So
I
just
wanted
to
remind
everybody
that
that's
happening.
My
experience
from
for
me,
I
did
a
presentation
at
a
conference
in
islamabad
remotely
once
and
it's
almost
exactly
12
hours
time
difference
from
from
the
central
time
zone
so
so
will
be
a
conference
for
most
of
us
in
the
middle
of
the
night.
E
E
A
Okay,
so
the
next
thing
on
the
agenda
is
officer
elections,
so
we
had
our
elections
and
we
have
new
members
on
our
board.
Christopher
is
going
to
be
vice
president.
A
Let's
see,
lauren
is
going
to
be
member,
unsupported
and
jennifer
is
going
to
be
secretary,
so
welcome
to
new
board
members.
They
we
had.
I
think
there
were
26.
E
C
And
also
the
the
action
that
this
did
take
place
the
announcement,
because
that's
what
I
need
to
move
forward
to
go
to
the
bank.
So
as
long
as
all
of
that's
transcribed
into
the
minutes
of
the
meeting,
we
will
be
good
from
that
perspective.
B
Just
that
I
need
to
get
together
with
jennifer.
I
know
that
barbara
and
ronda
are
getting
together
at
the
end
of
this
week,
barbara
and
christopher.
You
probably
need
to
get
together
just
to
make
sure
we've
got
everything
covered
and
elaine
and
lauren
if
you
need
to
get
together.
B
As
far
as
the
administrative
changes
getting
people
logins
and
stuff,
we
need
to
work
on
that
a
little
bit,
but
none
of
that
can
happen
until
the
end
of
this
meeting
when
you
all
officially
take
power,
so
we'll
we'll
be
working
on
that
and
I'm
happy
to
act
as
support.
If
you
need
me
to
come
to
next
month's
board
meeting
to
fill
in
any
gaps,
that's
I'm
available.
D
A
B
Meeting
we're
currently
at
and
I
can
confirm
that
there
haven't
been
any
up
or
proposals
yet,
so
there
really
wouldn't
be
much
to
talk
about
today.
Anyways
so
we'll
be
convening
in
january
again.
A
Okay,
the
development
committee,
not
a
big
update,
we
met
the
plan,
was
for
owen
leonard
ivan
from
auto
parallel
and
christopher
to
get
together
on
the
development
and
that's
been
delayed
a
little
bit.
So
we
didn't
have
a
lot
to
talk
about
and
they're
planning
on
setting
up
a
time
to
get
together
christopher.
Do
you
know
anything
about
that?
If
they
contacted
you
at
all,.
G
No,
I
I
I
do
know
that
we
are
supposed
to
meet
and
it
was
dude.
We
were
delayed
because
I
was
sick
and
they've
got.
They
have
a
few
people
that
were
sick
as
well
all
right.
G
It's
it's!
It's
kind
of
been
interesting
with
with
this
group,
because
it's
their
first
time
dealing
with
quahog,
it's
kind
of
drawn
out
the
process
a
bit,
hopefully
in
the
future.
If
we
use
them
again,
it
won't
be
so
drawn
out,
but
you
know
the
way
they
they're
used
to
doing
things
and
the
way
that
the
quahog
community
works
in
development
are
very
different
and
so
it'll
be
interesting
to
see
if
they
take
any
more
bids.
G
After
this,
it's
kind
of
been
a
learning
process
for
them,
and
also
it's
been
kind
of,
I
feel
like
they've,
been
kind
of
struggling
with
with
the
open
source
community
development.
So
you
know
we'll
just
have
to
see
how
things
go
in
the
future,
but
I
so
far
I
mean
they've
got
everything
ready.
They
want
it.
They
want
to
show
some
show
how
things
look.
G
I've
been
a
little
hands
off
other
than
the
initial.
You
know.
This
is
what
the
project
entails
and
and
what
we
want
owen
had
stepped
in
and
has
been
helping
with
more
of
the
the
development
side.
As
you
know,
they
had
questions
about
how
to
do
this
or
that
or
what
the
process
was,
because
you
know
some
of
that
was
not
stuff.
I've
been
involved
with.
So
that's
about
all
I
have
for
you.
A
Well,
I
know
that
at
one
of
the
meetings,
the
previous
meeting,
I
believe,
owen
had
said
to
ivan
from
auto
parallel
that
as
he
took
a
look
at
the
code
and
said
that
they
needed
to
squash
a
bunch
of
commits,
which
doesn't
really
mean
a
lot
to
me.
A
But
they
got
together
and
I
think
talked
through
and
looked
at
stuff
and
owen
was
okay
with
where
they
were.
I
guess,
and
then
there
was
something
else.
A
I
don't
recall
now,
but
we
moved
our
next
development
meeting
to
the
second
tuesday
in
january,
which
might
be
the
14th.
I
don't
have
a
calendar,
but
I
think
it's
the
14th
in
order
to
give
y'all
time
to
to
have
a
meeting,
to
look
at
things
so
that
maybe
at
our
next
development
meeting
we'll
have
something
that
we
can
actually
look
at
and
see.
You
know
the
actual
functionality
that
they've
created.
G
So
I'm
still
catching
up,
did
you
did
you
say
when
we're
supposed
to
meet
with
them
again.
A
B
A
G
A
G
A
A
So
that's
pretty
much
where
we
are
with
development.
So
next
is
education
committee.
Whoever
would
like
to
talk
about
things
on
education.
Go
ahead.
B
Sure
the
main
focus
has
been
giving
tuesday,
so
that's
done
we'll
be
looking
towards
the
future
now
and
the
future
is
george.
I
think
we
do
have
another
meeting
next
week
and
I'll
get
an
agenda
sent
out
to
everybody
for
that,
but
I
think
the
focus
of
that
one
is
going
to
be
primarily
on
the
website
and
the
resources
we
have
and
just
taking
a
look
at
what
we
can
do
moving
forward
yeah
and
then
george
is
planning
on
taking
over
in
january.
B
D
That'll
be
on
the
the
statue
that
they
uncover.
You
know
like
the
ozymandias
poem
by
shelley.
A
Okay,
so
finance
committee
update
john.
C
financially
with
our
primary
bank,
account
you'll
see
at
the
end
of
november.
We
had
just
shy
of
11
the
gross
revenue
you
see.
There
was
mostly
a
function
of
the
check
that
was
received
by
mckinney
for
their
hosting
institution
registration
rates,
and
the
5142
you
see
was
a
single
expense.
Those
were
the
thank
yous
that
went
out
to
mckinney
and
that
also
actually
represents
the
final
conference
expenditure.
C
Paypal.
Balance
of
217.52
represents
really
just
two
items:
the
giving
tuesday
donation
and
then
the
recurring
monthly
donation
that
one
of
our
members
very
generously
gives
to
us.
With
regard
to
other
matters.
The
conference
finances
are
now
final,
total
income
of
one
thousand
five
hundred
forty
five
dollars,
which
did
include
a
single
fifty
five
dollar
donation.
C
It's
actually
the
first
time
we've
received
a
donation
in
lieu
of
a
conference
registration
and
not
seeing
who
attended
virtually.
I
suspect
it
was
somebody
that
wanted
to
attend,
but
perhaps
could
not
and
very
generously
provided
us
with
a
donation
at
the
non-member
registration
rate,
total
confidence,
expenses,
853
dollars
and
52
cents,
giving
us
a
conference
net
of
691.48.
C
This
is
considerably
lower
than
pueblo
1731,
but
higher
than
coeur
d'alene's
559
11..
Are
there
any
questions
about
conference
finances?
Oh
actually,
before
we
go
through
that
a
few
other
numbers
we
did
have
50
total
attendees,
12
members,
seven
non-members
that
joined
and
nine
non-members,
as
well
as
22
from
the
hosting
institution
slightly
lower
than
pueblo,
but
slightly
higher
than
coeur
d'alene.
Just
like
with
the
conference
net
balance,
we
did
issue
three
run
refunds.
C
Normally
refunds
are
not
issued
for
registrations,
but
given
the
circumstances
of
the
pandemic
and
decisions
made
by
the
board,
we
did
generate
three
refunds
to
due
to
the
covet
19
situation.
Cost
per
attendee
was
up
slightly
to
17
and
seven
cents.
It
is
my
recommendation
that,
when
planning
for
the
2022
conference,
we
set
the
hosting
institution
rate
up
to
twenty
dollars.
C
This
is
meant
to
be
budget
neutral,
and
twenty
dollars
should
effectively
cover
that
unless
there
is
at
this
point
an
unknown
increase
in
expense
like
us
requiring
to
pay
for
the
facility
for
av
membership
for
2021
is
closed
and
2022
was
open.
We've
talked
about
that
already
and
we
did
also
receive
our
amazon
smile
distribution.
C
C
C
Okay,
no
questions.
Let's
turn
our
attention
now
to
the
budget
for
next
year.
This
is
our
fifth
budget.
I've
had
the
pleasure
of
crafting
all
of
them.
This
is
technically
it's
called
a
membership
year
budget,
the
budgets
line
up
with
membership
activity
and
the
numbers
you
see
are
going
to
just
be
slightly
different
from
the
calendar
year,
numbers
that
are
reported
to
various
agencies
like
the
state
of
kansas,
if
requested,
as
well
as
the
internal
revenue
service.
C
Overall,
there's
really
no
change
between
last
year's
budget
in
this
year's
budget,
excluding
the
twelve
hundred
dollars
being
taken
from
the
discretionary
funds
in
support
of
ala
exhibition
space.
Our
budget
for
next
year
was
four
thousand
seven
hundred
twenty
five
dollars,
which
is
equivalent
to
the
2021
budget.
C
The
way
that
amount
is
constructed
is
slightly
different,
though
we're
expecting
slightly
more
from
membership
and
slightly
less
from
conference
income.
The
other
budgeted
income
amounts
all
remain.
The
same
highlights
from
income
for
the
budget
includes
an
anticipated
membership
of
75,
most
of
those
coming
from
renewals
or
new
full
year
memberships
and
20
coming
from
half
year
members
most
of
those
expected
to
come
in
conjunction
with
the
annual
conference
and
membership
membership
rates,
as
noted
before
remain
unchanged
because
those
are
set
by
the
bylaws
and
not
by
any
other
mechanism.
C
Conference
income
represents
a
total
estimated
number
of
attendees
at
60..
This
seems
to
be
a
good
estimate
based
on
what
we
know
at
this
time:
30
members
10
non-members
and
20
from
the
hosting
institution.
This
would
be
the
second
time
that
we
would
be
using
the
triple
tiered
pricing
structure
of
member
non-member
and
hosting
institution
income.
Streams
like
from
network
for
good
or
threadless
are
considered
extraneous
income
activity,
and
there
is
no
activity
specifically
earmarked
is
coming
from
those
sources
and
to
address
the
matter
of
the
discretionary
funds.
C
C
C
Most
of
the
expenses
are
budgeted
to
be
the
same
from
year
to
year.
We
have
two
new
expense
categories.
One
of
them
is
for
banking,
and
this
is
funds
put
aside
not
for
recurring
banking
charges,
but
for
one-time
charges
like
any
fees
that
are
associated
with
the
drafting
of
cashier's
checks.
Similarly,
there
is
now
money
put
aside
for
mailing
I've
incurred
all
of
the
standard
mailing
costs
which
have
been
pretty
minimal
in
my
years
as
the
organization's
treasurer
and
financial
manager.
C
The
amount
for
mailing
is
meant
to
cover
things
like
priority
mail,
which
was
required
in
the
case
of
auto
parallel
technologies
for
the
return
of
the
signed
contract,
as
well
as
the
cashiers
check.
There
was
also
an
increase
in
fundraising
for
the
possible
two-year
renewal
vote
philanthropy.com,
which
does
also
include
grant
station
access
per
usual
10
of
the
organization's
income
will
be
set
aside
for
cash
reserves,
considering
cash
reserves
and
all
anticipated
expenses.
C
It
is
expected
that
we
will
be
able
to
put
just
shy
of
1
450
into
the
discretionary
funds
based
on
this
budget.
This
is
slightly
lower
by
about
3.5
percent
from
the
2021
number,
but
does
account
for
the
fact
that
we
do
have
those
two
new
income,
I'm
sorry,
those
two
new
expense
categories,
as
well
as
an
adjustment
to
fundraising
for
three
hundred
dollars
for
the
year.
C
C
If
there
are
no
questions,
thank
you
for
your
time
and
attention.
The
board,
I
believe,
will
get
to
vote
on
this
on
january.
To
make
it
final,
if
upon
your
review,
you
do
have
any
questions
feel
free
to
contact
me
at
treasurer
ohious.org.
Thank
you.
Everyone
and
it's
been
a
pleasure
serving
as
your
financial
manager
for
the
course
of
this
year.
E
May
I
lead
a
well-deserved
round
of
applause.
Also,
I
just
checked
the
ala
site.
They
do
have
a
looks
like
they
already
hit,
or
they
do
have
links
to
reserve
your
spot,
but
I
can't
get
in
because
I
haven't
registered
for
it.
So
and
registration
opens
for
attendees
on
february
7th.
I
hope
they
might
put
in
exhibitors
a
little
sooner
yeah.
C
They
usually
do
in
fact,
if
you
want
primo
space,
which
we
don't,
we
get
shunted
off
to
a
corner
because
we
pay
1200
for
what
they
call
a
small
exhibitor's
table.
Basically,
it's
meant
for
like
first-time
press
but
nonprofits
like
us.
That's
all
we
need.
We
don't
have
big
displays
to
set
up.
You
need
a
table,
a
chair
and
hopefully
a
functioning
internet
connection,
so
that
we
can
demonstrate
our
demonstration
server.
C
There
are
organizations
that
pay
all
kinds
of
money
to
get
those
primo
spots,
we'll
probably
be
in
the
back
corner,
so
it
will
be
fun
and
exciting
and
there's
not
too
much
of
a
push
for
those.
But
we
will.
I
will
be
taking
care
of
that
very
shortly,
because
they'll
ask
for
the
money
so
once
january
rolls
around
and
we're
in
that
new
fiscal
year
I'll
go
ahead
and
take
care
of
that.
C
Know
it's
shocking,
it's
just
absolutely
shocking,
but
these
are
the
ways
of
the
vendor
world
and
and
it's
it's
amazing
apparently
there's
all
kinds
of
jockeying
that
goes
on
and
they
have
this
concept
of
library
champions
where
you
can
pay
more
to
get
favorable
placement-
and
I
talked
to
bywater
about
that
two
years
ago
and
you're
like
that's
such
a
joke.
People
pay
all
this
money
and
then
they
stick
you
wherever
the
hell
they
want.
Anyway,
it
was.
G
C
G
C
C
We
had
seven
people
join
as
a
result
of
the
conference.
We
we've
had
very
similar
numbers
in
the
past.
We
didn't
do
that
in
coeur
d'alene,
because
that
hadn't
started
yet
2018
didn't
count
because
we
didn't
have
a
separate
conference.
C
I
do
we
do
have
numbers
for
it
and
it's
been
about
seven
to
ten.
It's
not
been
a
huge
number,
but
we've
always
been
glad
to
be
able
to
offer
the
option.
Saying:
hey,
look
you
actually
get
a
discount
immediately
by
joining
and
that
I
think,
has
been
one
of
the
deciding
factors
in
having
people
join
at
that
point
in
time
if
they
were
not
familiar
with
the
organization
before.
A
D
I
guess
the
question
I
have
is,
since
this
committee
hasn't
met
in
such
a
long
time,
and
nobody
really
seems
to
be
interested
in
it.
Do
we
still
need
it.
E
G
What
has
been
the
impact
of
the
fund-raising
committee?
I'm
do
you
know
if
it
has
contributed
to
our
funds
significantly
or
what
what
impact
has
it
had.
C
Back
when
todd
goatly
was
the
chair
of
the
finance
committee,
the
focus
really
had
not
been
on
membership
or
direct,
fundraising
efforts,
but
rather
the
attempt
to
get
us
off
of
our
collective
buds
to
start
to
do
things
with
grants
and
those
that
type
of
pursuit,
that's
great
for
large
organizations
that
actually
have
paid
employees.
C
That
is
not
us.
It
takes
a
lot
to
apply
for
a
grant.
It
takes
a
lot
to
manage
a
grant,
depending
on
the
grant
the
reporting
aspects
of
it.
If
you
are
awarded,
it
are
just
absolutely
frightening
and
todd
who
actually
had
a
chunk
of
his
time
dedicated
towards
helping
our
organization
with
fundraising.
Efforts
was
really
the
sole
person
that
had
the
time,
the
energy
and
the
effort
to
devote
to
this.
C
we're
still
hoping
to
get
more
members,
but
that
really
big
increase
to
over
a
hundred,
which
has
always
kind
of
been
the
magical
number.
In
my
mind,
to
to
really
help
say
to
us
as
an
organization
that
we've
arrived
hasn't
quite
materialized.
Yet,
in
fact,
if
you
take
a
look
at
membership
year
to
year,
we
only
saw
a
renewal
rate
of
about
46
from
2020
to
2021..
C
That's
a
lot
lower
than
I
would
have
ever
expected,
and
certainly
a
lot
lower
than
the
70
that
it
was
from
2019
to
2020..
Word
of
mouth
seems
to
be
pretty
effective,
but
then
again
if
it
were
really
truly
effective.
There
are
so
many
koha
sites
in
this
country,
but
we've
only
got
a
handful
of
them
represented
within
our
membership
and
christopher
you
were,
I
think
you
were.
C
You
might
have
been
past
president,
when
we
did
that
big
push
to
contact
mem
libraries
that
had
identified
themselves
as
either
supported
or
unsupported
members,
through
marshall
breeding's
annual
survey
that
netted
the
what
is
considered
the
average
response
rate
for
an
unsolicited
message
is
one
tenth
of
one
percent,
and
so
we
talked
very
briefly
at
the
board
meeting
a
week
ago
about
maybe
trying
to
do
something
like
that
again.
But
it
was
really
kind
of
disappointing
that
there
was
not
more
of
a
response
to
that
and
we
really
hadn't
done
anything
beyond
that.
C
C
G
Few
more
questions
for
you,
so
you
know
I
know
that
2020
impacted
membership
in
some
ways.
Do
you
see
membership
outside
of
that?
Do
you
see
that,
what's
the
trend
with
with
membership,
do
you
see
it
going
up
stabilizing
going
down?
What
is
the
general
trend
with
with
membership,
and
the
other
question
is:
if
fundraising
committee
went
away,
do
you
see
kohai
u.s
budget?
G
Maintaining
without
that,
do
you
see
it
dipping
down?
Do
you
see
it?
What
what
do
you
project
for
the
the
budget
for
quahog
us
in
stabilization.
C
I'll
answer,
the
second
question
first
fundraising
has
had
minimal
impact
on
our
finances.
Our
finance
expense.
Our
expenses
remain
unbelievably
low
for
an
organization
of
this
side.
Really
we
don't
expend
all
that
much
money
and
that's
one
of
the
reasons
why
membership
dues
remain
at
the
level
they
are.
I
personally
see
membership
stabilizing
at
about
70
to
75..
C
I
don't
see
a
big
push
up.
I
really
don't
see
a
big
decrease
at
this
point
in
time.
2022,
I
think,
will
be
the
bellwether
year
for
this,
we'll
have
to
see
where
we
are
a
year
from
now,
we'll
have
to
see
where
we
are
in
terms
of
renewals
in
terms
of
new
members.
These
are
all
statistics
that
I
keep
and
that
are
recorded
as
part
of
the
annual
report
that
I'll
be
releasing
in
february
once
the
books
are
closed.
C
The
first
question
in
terms
of
impact
on
finances
itself,
because
we've
never
really
had
a
big
draw
or
a
big
impact
from
fundraising.
I
don't
think
the
elimination
of
the
finance
committee
would
have
an
impact
either
positively
or
negatively
on
the
organization's
finances.
B
So
once
or
twice
by
myself,
and
then
no
one
was
there,
so
I
stopped
going
oh
so
it
did
me
yeah.
I
did
the
I
guess
the
benefit
of
having
a
separate
committee
for
this
is
being
able
to
shift
some
of
the
work
from
other
places
so,
like
I
feel
like
what
little
fundraising
we
did
do
this
year
has
been
on
the
backs
of
the
education
committee
as
well,
because,
like
we
did
that
giving
tuesday
thing
both
as
an
educational
experience
but
also
to
try
and
bring
in
funds.
B
In
addition,
things
like
merchandising,
the
threadless
stuff
kind
of
fell
under
the
fundraising
committee.
Grants
never
took
off
like
you
said,
but
I
think
that
if
we
could
get
some
definite
initiatives
for
fundraising,
maybe
maybe
that's
membership
marketing
merchandising.
Something
like
that.
Then
we
could
kind
of
direct
that
and
get
people
more
interested,
because
I
feel
like
grant
working
on
grants
was
nebulous
and
people
weren't
really
into
it.
B
A
A
You
know
what
we
really
need
and
and
calling
it
something
that
may
be
attractive
to
someone
to
step
up
into
that
role.
D
C
Possibly
the
naming
of
that
without
an
and
in
there
makes
at
least
in
my
interpretation
of
that
title
and
onus
strictly
on
on
broadening
membership
and
development,
membership
and
and
building
our
membership
base.
And
I
don't
know
that
that
is
a
fully
accurate
purpose
like
there
needs,
maybe
to
be
an
end
in
there
or
some
membership
and
as
opposed
to
membership
with
some
other
word
actor.
F
Or
membership
advancement
and
development
or
expansion
in
development.
C
It's
endless
you,
you
always
have
to
be
looking
for
organizations
for
people
and
most
of
what
I
do
in
my
pursuit
of
new
members
ends
up
running
into
dead
end
because
I
I'm
running
an
organization,
that's
been
around
for
35
years.
People
know
we're
here:
they're,
either
going
to
want
to
be
members
or
they're
not
going
to
want
to
be
members
and.
E
C
It's
it's
literally
like
a
whole
full-time
job
on
top
of
all
the
other
stuff
that
I
end
up
doing
and
it's
it's
a
very
it's
a
very
intensive
process.
It's
an
always
on
process
and
todd
was
really
good
at
always
being
on,
and
any
of
you
that
have
dealt
with
todd
know
that
he
was
perfect
for
that
and
it's
it's
it's
great
to
have
when
you
have
it
and
we
don't
have
the
resources
for
it,
but
that's
not
to
say
that
it
can't
be
morphed
into
something
else.
A
Well,
maybe
between
now
and
our
next
board
meeting
we
can
all
you
know
give
that
a
thought
about
how
we
could
rebrand
it.
What
we
want
it
to
do,
make
it
attractive
to
somebody.
C
If
you
take
a
look
at
fundraising
outside
of
the
context
of
the
fundraising
committee,
we
ran
kohakan
2020.
That
was
something
that
was
entirely
based
within
our
organization,
but
really
what
is
going
to
be
or
what
I
anticipate
to
be
when
I
close
the
book,
the
largest
income
activity
for
our
organization
over
2021,
it
was
the
spring
in
the
fitness
event
where
we
raised
like
1700
and
that's
going
to
be
far
more
than
what
we've
met
from
just
our
regular
conference
and
membership
activity.
C
2018
the
largest
income
event
was
probably
the
conference
20,
I'm
sorry,
2019,
the
largest
income
event
was
probably
kohakan,
which
we
did
not
run
ourselves
by
water
actually
ran
it.
We
became
a
co-host
for
the
purposes
of
collecting
donations
for
that
as
well
as
ourselves,
and
so
you
see
the
common
theme
here,
there's
a
lot
of
stuff
that
happens
for
our
organization
and
to
our
organization
as
a
result
of
bywater
saying
hey,
this
looks
great
right.
C
When
you
look
at
how
many
supported
members
we
have
and
the
fact
that
almost
all
of
those
members
are
bywater,
but
then
people
can
take
a
look
at
that
from
outside
the
organization
and
say:
wait
a
minute:
you're
not
affiliated
with
buy
water,
but
you
guys
sure
do
an
awful
lot
of
things
with
buy
water
and
you
get
the
raised
eye,
which
is
is
interesting
and
I
not
want
to
dissuade
the
excellent
relationship
we
have
with
bywater
by
water
history
that
does
incredibly
well
by
water
employees,
our
members
of
this
organization,
and
to
be
able
to
continue
to
develop
that
type
of
relationship,
I
think,
is,
is
worth
doing,
but
probably
needs
to
be
expanded.
F
H
C
Was
that
was
the
marshall
breeding
thing
that
I
referenced
a
while
ago,
where
we
sent
out
about
780
messages,
and
that
was
not
a
that
was
not
generation
from
bywater
that
was
generation
from
the
marshall
breeding
survey?
It's
my
understanding
that
when
people
sign
up
with
bywater
bywater
makes
them
aware
of
our
organization,
but
there's
a
lot
of
things
that
happen
when
you
sign
up
with
anybody
yeah,
it's.
C
In
terms
of
our
social
media
presences
like
in
facebook
and
that
whenever
I
post
anything
and
then
jason
is
usually,
I
think
the
other
one
that
posts
more
now,
especially
now
that
you're
off
of
the
board
was
that
whenever
bywater
sees
something
they
share
it
and
they
promote
it
on
their
their
page.
So
they
do
a
lot
of
things
indirectly
to
try
to
drive
membership
our
way,
both
in
their
mentioning
of
us
to
new
customers
as
well
as
the
way
they
interact
with
our
various
presences.
C
C
They're
really
good
about
that,
and
that's
been
true
since
before
todd
became
integral
and
has
continued
on
afterwards
as
well,
and
I
really
don't
see
that
changing
jessie
zyro
is
really
one
of
the
key,
the
key
linchpins
there
she,
actually
surprisingly,
I
don't
think
she
renewed
her
membership
for
2021,
but
she's
always
been
one
of
the
people
at
bywater.
That
has
been
the
most
active
in
our
organization.
C
Equinox
has
come
to
a
conference
or
two
they've
sent
one
or
two
people.
I
think
they
were
supposed
to
come
this
year,
but
then
they
didn't,
they
might
have
been
one
of
the
good
cancellations
or
they
were
planning
on
coming
and
then
decided
not
to,
but
we've
not
really
done
anything
expressly
with
equinox
somebody
that's
been
around
as
long
as
I
am
can
confirm
or
or
correct
me
on
that.
Okay.
B
Yeah
I
mean
they've
participated
in
our
conferences
before
they've
more
recently,
they've
submitted
proposals
and
presented.
I
know
that
they
did
in
the
kenny
and
the
year
before
they
had
a
couple,
but
they
haven't
been
as
ingrained
as
bywater
has
with
us,
and
I
think
that's
partially
due
to
the
magnitude
of
customers
and
they
have
a
lot
less
customers,
but
they
they
have
a
whole
different
business
model
than
buy
order.
Does
so,
but
it
would
be
nice
to
have
more
people
engaged
outside
of
just
by
water.
B
For
sure
I
will
also
mention
that
we
do
send
out
our
meeting
announcements
to
the
bywater
partners
list,
so
people
are
hearing
from
us
every
month,
but
they
may
be
tuning
that
out
at
this
point,
so
that
might
be
something
to
address
in
the
coming
year.
Since
there's
a
new
secretary,
they're
hearing
it
from
somebody
different,
maybe
like
you
guys,
can
come
up
with
a
better
different
way
to
more
dynamic
way
to
make
our
presence
known
monthly
and
what
we
have
to
offer.
People
have
just
gotten
so
tired
of
you,
jason.
A
I
I'm
just
gonna
pop
a
bug
in
the
chat.
If
you
have
library
of
congress,
call
numbers
and
notice
that
they're
still
not
searching
correctly,
you
might
want
to
take
a
look
at
that.
Give
it
a
little
attention
and
you're
running
elastic,
search.
G
E
Upgrading
to
is
it
21.05.
G
I
have
a
quick
question
for
those
that
have
upgraded.
I
did
a
lot.
We
got
a
test
server
this
year,
or
so
I've
been
looking
through
that
and
a
lot
of
things
I
needed
to
to
fix
in
the
the
opec.
Did
you
find
that
you
had
to
do
a
lot
in
the
in
the
staff
jquery
at
all?
A
B
Same
for
me,
I
think
for
the
staff
I've
been
focusing
on
trying
to
get
away
from
custom
style
sheets,
but
that's
kind
of
separate
from
the
upgrade
other
than
the
upgrade
always
pushes
in
xslt
changes
that
we're
not
getting
because
I'm
using
custom
style
sheets.
So
that's
been
my
main
focus
there
but
yeah.
I
don't
think
I've
had
to
do
much.
Modification
on
that,
whatever
got
in
the
staff
client.
E
D
Well,
I'll
push!
Oh
I'm
sorry.
D
This
isn't
a
bug
yet,
but
I
asked
bywater
to
come
up
with
a
price
for
a
development.
My
idea
was:
there
are
certain
things
that
it
would
be
convenient
for
me
to
store
in
a
library's
library
record
in
quahog,
but
there
just
aren't
enough
fields,
and
so
I
proposed
to
buy
water.
D
I
asked
them:
what
would
it
take
to
have
a
system
in
place
like
patron
extended
attributes
to
have
library
extended
attributes,
and
so
once
I
find
out
more
about
that,
once
I
get
a
price
from
them,
I
might
be
asking
around
to
see
if
anybody
wants
to
join
in
on
that
kind
of
a
development
we
have
things
like
kansas
library.
Express
courier
number
would
be
nice
to
have
a
place
for
that
in
the
in
the
library
record,
but
it
doesn't
really
there's
a
good
place
to
put
it
right
now.
I
A
Okay,
unless
there's
anything
else
wish
everyone,
a
happy
holiday
season,
hope
you're
able
to
get
away
and
not
think
about
coho
for
a
few
days
and
then
come
back
in
january.
