koha

on
our

it
is
Portsmouth
public
library,
Portsmouth,
New
Hampshire
and
they
are
proposing
their
dates
for
the
conference

September
20th

23rd

I
had
sent
out
a
quick
invite
to
the
gal
that
submitted
the
proposal,
and
you
know
in
hopes
that
she
could
talk
a
little
bit
more
about
her
Library.
She
is
not
here
today,
unfortunately,
but
you
can
look
up
the
library
online
their
website.

Our

of
the

can
tell
you
that
you
know
I

would
lean
towards
Portsmouth
public
library
over
ours.
You

since
we've
hosted
before
you

that
I'm

we

a
great
location.
You
know
we
are
a

resort
town,
that's
growing.
We
have
a
lot
of
great
areas.

have

theme
park
that
is
a
few
miles
several
miles
north
up
in
Athol,
north

Coeur
d'alene,
that's
fun
to
visit,
but
really
a
wonderful
area.
We
have
a
hiking
trails
up
on
the
hill
right
behind

library
and
a
very
pleasant
town,
and-
and
hopefully
you
know,
if
you
know
we
were
to
have
a
conference
here
again-
you
can
visit
when
we
don't
have
smoke.
Unfortunately,
the
last
time
we
hosted
there
was
some
smoke
in
the
air.

were
fires
in
Washington
that
were
blowing
over
our
way,
but
a
good
town
but
I

always
encourage
people
to
to
try
out
new
places.
We
haven't
been
to
New
Hampshire,
yet
for
a
conference
and
I
was
looking
up
the
library
and
they
look
like
they're
right
on
the
the
water
as
well
they're
they're
right
by
the
coast
there,
it
looks
like
a
great
area.

highly
suggest
that
as
being
the
place
but
I'll,
let
everybody

is
a
member

vote,

judge
between
the
two
towns
and
decide

way

haven't
done
anything

the
farthest
easts
that
we've

is
Erie,

so

would

nice
change.

meeting

meeting

we

where
we
are
with
the
conference
we

had.

little
bit
behind
in
the
proposals
because
we
didn't
get
any
responses
on
time,
so
we
had
to
extend
things
a
little
bit
and
now
we're

trying
to

get
back
on
track
so
I'm
fast
tracking,

voting
as
quickly
as
possible,
I
I.
Generally,
we
give
people
a
week
notice
before
the
the
voting.

it's
a
development
that
will
allow
a
staff
to
be
able
to
put
a
note
in
a
patrons
account,
so
they
can
see
it
on
the
OPAC.
You
know
we
already
had
that
functionality,
but
now,
with
this
bug,
patrons
will
have
the
option
to
say:
I've
read
it
and
it
will
go
away.
They
don't
have
to
keep
staring
at
it
until
a
staff.
Member
turns
it
off,
and
it
will
also
indicate
on
the
staff
side
that
they
have
read
it.

So
we
had
gone
out
with
we
tried
an
experiment
and
went
with
a
company
that
usually
doesn't
do
coha
developments
and
they
wrote
the
code
and
it
did
what
we
asked
it
to
do.
But
it
didn't
pass
QA
because
there's
certain
standards
in
the
Quahog
community
that
they
weren't
really
able
to
they.
They
just
didn't
quite
meet,
and
so
we
just
need
to
get
this
finished
off.

we
had
talked
to
buy
water
about
them,
possibly
doing
it
and
they
were
willing
to
do
it
at
no
additional
cost
just
whenever
they
had
a
chance
to
do
it,
which,
given
their
busy
development
schedule.
Who
knows
when
that
would
be,
and
we
also
have
a
quote
from
Catalyst
and
where
they
will.
It
will
cost
money.
But
it'll
get
done
faster
and
I.
Think
at
the
last
board
meeting
we
were
leaning
towards
just
getting
that
taken
care
of
I.

remember
if
we
had
formal,
Vote
or
anything,
but
we
we
definitely
want
to
get
that
finished
off
because
it's
been

quite
a
while
in
the
making,
and
we
want
to
actually
have
that
available
to
everybody.

we're

move
forward
and
get
that
into
the
into
a
future
release
as
soon
as
possible.
So
that's
one
update
the
other
update
is
we
were
looking
at
our
model
for
how
we
fund
developments,
and
traditionally
that
has
been
something
where
we
solicit
ideas.

idea
of
the
note
came
to
be
somebody
had
that
idea.
It
was
voted
on
and
it
was
selected,
but
one
thing
we
were
discussing
is
that
perhaps
we
are
not
getting
the
full
measure
of
ideas
out
there,

kind
of
a
barrier
to
entry
to
submit
an
an
idea
like
that.
So
what
we
are
going
to
look
at
doing
with
development
funds
is
I'm
going
to
put
a
the
buy

page
in
the

this

where
they
list
a
bunch
of
developments
that

which

partially

haven't
been
completely

we

ideas

voting

doesn't
necessarily
even
have
to
be
by
water,

does
the
development
in
the

we
can
find
somebody
else
willing

do

route

what
we're
going
to
do
is
we're

kind

do
a
hybrid
where
we
we
do
have
a
couple
of
submissions
that
were
in
this
last
round
when
we
asked
for
new
development
ideas,
we're
gonna
include
those
with
a
couple
of
the
options
that
are
off
this
development
page
and
then
going
forward.

encourage
when
people
have
ideas
that
they
get
it
on,
that
buy
water
page
as
a
possible
item
we
can
fund
and
I
think
this
will
give
us
a
lot
more
flexibility,
both
in
the
breadth
of
ideas
that
we
are
looking
at,

also,
if
we're
not
fully
funded
funding,
something
partially
funding,
something
we
can
maybe
make
our
our
contributions
go
a
little
bit
further,
so
that
that's
kind
of
where
we
we're
we're
headed.

doing
anything

the
the
monthly
or
annual
or
financial

The
they

both

anyone's

glad

Focus,
really
on
just
three
primary
numbers:
okay,
year-end
membership
count
was
56
that
continues.
The
slide
in
membership
counts
that
we've
seen
since
reaching
a
high
of
83
in
2020,
but
on
the
other
hand,
we're
at
56
members
already
this
year.

The
other
number
one
of
the
more
important
numbers
for
this
group
to
consider
is
the
amount
of
discretionary
funds
available.
This
is
a
number
that
only
gets
updated
once
a
year
after
the
treasurer
and
the
Financial
Manager
reconcile
all
of
the
accounts.
With
last
year's
reconciliation
complete.
We
have
8
167.12
available
for
discretionary
purposes
and
they're
very
purposely
called
discretionary.
We
have
been
traditionally
using
them
for
developments
as
voted
on
by
the
members,
but
there
is
nothing
in
our
bylaws
that
say
that's
what
both
funds
have
to
go
to.

So
that's
why
they
that's
why
they
are
labeled
as
discretionary
and
right
we
have
been
able
to
do.
We
were
able
to
put
money
into
that
last
year,
so
that
was
always
good
and
then
the
other
important
number
this
is
the
number
I
talked
to
the
board
out
about
all
the
time
we
do
have
remaining
money
from
our
kohakhan
sponsorship
that
we
as
an
organization
need
to
spend,
because
it's
not
our
money.
It
is
money
that
we
need
to
put
back
into
the
community
in
some
way,
shape
or
form,
and
that
number
is
about
1625.

It's
been
my
recommendation
that
we
combine
that
with
a
little
bit
of
our
discretionary
money
to
do
something
and
I
leave
that
to
the
board's
discussion
as
to
what
that
something
should
be,
whether
it's
the
support
of
the
support
of
a
development
which
seems
to
be
the
most
likely
place
to
go,
because
there
are
developments
out
there
that
are
awaiting
funding.
Anything
else
would
probably
take
a
little
bit
of
time
to
piece
together.
So
that's
really
the
highlights.

interface

adjust
on
that
interface
and
then
just
do
a
re-index,
but
I
do
think.
There
are
a
few
things
that
require
something
else:

level

can't
see.

for
our
unsupported

research

clarify
it
would
be
great
if
we
had
that
kind
of
information

the
XSL
files
aren't

picky

don't
have
something
right,

most

code
is

you

something
open-ended
in
jQuery,
you

break

down
so
yeah
check
that
and
make
sure
that
there's
not
an
error
and
I
know
that
sounds
oversimplified,
but

you

tedious

where
I'm
replacing
series
information
in
the
search
results
with
info
from
the
biblio
API
endpoint,
which
is
not
what
you
want,

it
could
be
adapted

pull

your
0.99
without
having
to
modify
xslt

all,
which
I
would
avoid.

have
started
avoiding
at
all
cost
because
it
does
cause
these
kinds
of
headaches.

puts
out

good

Talking
about
the
additional
fields
in
Z
3950
results
search
this
preference
here

unnoticed
by
us,
and
you
can
put
additional
Fields
to
come
up
in
your
search
when
you're
searching,
so
that
if
you
need
to
be
able
to
make
differences
out
with
different
types
of
Records,
this
is
a
very
good
preference
to
set.

the
amount
we've
been
getting
from.
Amazon
smile
has
been
decreasing
over
the
years.
One
of
the
things
I
never
cared
for
about
the
program
was
that
we
just
would
get
the
money.
It
was
impossible
for
us
to
see
any
of
the
metrics
associated
with
that
money,
not
even
a
count
of
how
many
Amazon
customers
have
selected
your
particular
charity
as
its
intended
recipient.

on
what
we
received
last
year
and
based
on
what
I
worked
past
for
this
year,
we
can
expect
to
probably
lose
about
150
a
year
in
income
from
that.

much
and
now

can't
even
do
