00:07:41 sspohnjr: Ability to IMPORT transport matrix CSV would be nice.

00:12:50 Juliet Heltibridle: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12004
00:13:09 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: LocalHoldsPriorityPatronControl - options HOME LIBRARY | PICKUP LIBRARY
00:13:32 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: LocalHoldsPriorityItemControl = HOME LIBRARY | HOLDING LIBRARY
00:13:34 sspohnjr: How often does your queue run, Eileen? We’re having ours run three times a day.
00:15:17 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: RealTimeHoldsQueue
00:18:30 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: LOL I did it myself on a Friday evening
00:21:29 Bob Bennhoff: We hide holds to pull
00:24:41 Jason: //Point holds queue button directly to logged in library's queuevar libcode = $('#logged-in-info-full .logged-in-branch-code').text();$('#circ_circulation-home .circ-button:contains("Holds queue")').attr('href', '/cgi-bin/koha/circ/view_holdsqueue.pl?branchlimit=' + libcode +'&itemtypeslimit=&ccodeslimit=&locationslimit=&run_report=1');
00:32:10 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: This is a link to my "Priority" holds queue https://github.com/northeast-kansas-library-system/nextkansas.sql/blob/master/R.003084.sql
00:44:40 Juliet Heltibridle: https://staff.rapidcitylibrary.org/cgi-bin/koha/admin/preferences.pl?tab=&op=search&searchfield=SkipHoldTrapOnNotForLoanValue
00:49:44 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: $("#pickup option[value='PHSES']").attr("value","SABETHA").html('Prairie Hills - Sabetha Elementary Closed for the summer - Items will route to Sabetha: Mary Cotton Library');
00:50:26 Mike@OSL: I wish there was a way to select multiple Patron Categories for a single Circ Rule line instead of a 1-1 relationship with an IType.
00:50:41 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: Reacted to "I wish there was a w..." with 🧡
00:52:34 Mike@OSL: Because we want to EXCLUDE 1 particular Patron Category....
00:53:08 Juliet Heltibridle: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12450
00:54:40 Mike@OSL: 🤯
00:54:44 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: Before I came to NEKLS this bug regarding circulation rules was filed on our behalf https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15521
00:55:01 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: And it has a corresponding wiki page at https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Circulation_Rules_Interface_and_Backend_Revamp_RFC#Backend
00:55:14 Juliet Heltibridle: We have 533 loan rules just for our branch, and duplicated again for our bookmobile. It's too many.
00:56:16 Mike@OSL: That's cute.
00:57:34 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: Sorry, Jason
01:01:35 Mike@OSL: One card to rule them all here.
01:01:40 Jason: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bza45GrH3Gy3RwRpGnfotWqj629E58rb/view?usp=drive_link
01:01:55 sspohnjr: Yup... except local use only patrons (vacationers)
01:03:39 sspohnjr: Sounds like they like a lot of work to do!
01:10:45 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: Again, I did that manually myself
01:11:17 sspohnjr: If I can make a computer do it for me, it’s gonna happen hehe.
01:11:28 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: I need to learn SQL
01:11:48 Juliet Heltibridle: https://www.w3schools.com/sql/default.asp
01:12:06 Juliet Heltibridle: This taught me a lot about SQL. And copying reports from other libraries.
01:12:16 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: Reacted to "This taught me a lot..." with 👍
01:12:41 Juliet Heltibridle: It's a free for all at our library. If you know SQL, you can write a report.
01:13:42 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: you can see evyerhting
01:15:35 Mike@OSL: That has been an issue with permissions in general. There's not a lot of granularity and we wish some of the permissions were based on "what I've created"...
01:16:18 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: Reacted to "That has been an iss..." with 👍
01:17:03 Juliet Heltibridle: Yeah, it would be good to be able to say that a staff member who doesn't have permission to see logs could also not write reports that access the logs.
01:17:09 Juliet Heltibridle: For example.
01:21:38 sspohnjr: Mike… I thought the items were isolated in perms?
01:21:43 sspohnjr: Or did that break?
01:21:53 Mike@OSL: We have a setting turned on where they cannot edit another library's items...
01:22:10 Mike@OSL: Oh dear god....
01:28:47 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: I've been to a conference at Providence and Portsmouth
01:29:03 Michelle - CLAMS Library Network: both NELA ITS
01:29:16 Mike@OSL: Thank you all!

00:10:27 CLAMS Library Network: Our main issue is slow response time in Circulation since we upgraded to 22.11
00:40:19 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: We're limited at the central office too. We can't batch delete fines, we can't batch update more than 5K at once, etc.
00:40:35 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: It was Aspen
00:40:44 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: 👍
00:43:04 Renée Palermo OSL-RI: Michelle, ByWater recently batch deleted fines for us.
00:43:17 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: Right, it took WEEKS to get them to do it
00:44:37 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: It used to take me 5 minutes 😫
00:50:46 Bob Bennhoff: Michelle, sometimes it is luck of the draw with who you get to clear things. Which is something ByWater needs to improve the standardization for response time on things like that.
00:51:06 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: That's good to know, thanks!
00:51:34 Bob Bennhoff: If you have a monthly meeting with ByWater, the person who runs that meeting usually get stuck tickets unstuck
00:51:37 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: A transportation cost matrix video from PTFS - https://youtu.be/y3s2ZmwBrEM
00:52:36 Steve, Ocean State Libraries (RI): Thanks!
00:53:18 Renée Palermo OSL-RI: Reacted to "A transportation cos..." with 👍
00:54:05 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: Here's our matrix - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17ilbMoHuwqz3SCbk5aH4SIlnTRxI0-el/edit?usp=drive_link&ouid=112179891475226476097&rtpof=true&sd=true
00:55:12 Jason - SEKLS: Here's ours - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LvNfqCKM30e412kTlXhmaxRGb_pfvm-m/edit?usp=drive_link&ouid=112179891475226476097&rtpof=true&sd=true
00:56:24 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: Your matrix is prettier 😆
00:56:35 Jason - SEKLS: Reacted to "Your matrix is prett..." with 😁
00:57:50 Jason - SEKLS: LHP for library groups bug: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20747
01:00:47 Kristina Uvalle: to back track a bit....our IT guy is asking if CLAMS is self-hosted or Bywater hosted.
01:01:52 Bob Bennhoff: CLAMS is on ByWater
01:03:11 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: no we did not
01:03:30 Christopher Brannon: StaticHoldsQueueWeight
01:03:42 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: No ILS has the tiered holds that we want
01:03:56 Kristina Uvalle: Reacted to "CLAMS is on ByWater" with 👍
01:04:26 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: Dynix did the tiered holds thing beautifully back in 1997.
01:04:33 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: Before they merged with Sirsi
01:04:40 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: And it was still a unix based system
01:05:10 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: We met with Sirsi during our RFP and they didn't say that, that's cool
01:05:45 NEKLS Zoom 3 / George Williams: I don't think it moved over to the sirsi product when they merged
01:05:59 Bob Bennhoff: Just before everyone leaves I would be remiss if I didn't include the registration link to the koha-US conference https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSepzRRgm6ldHtr2swf6Zh8FHWifb8dgX1ToClZZQ5UiFG6NFA/viewform
01:06:03 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: ohhhh ok
01:06:14 Steve, Ocean State Libraries (RI): We had them change that cron job to only run twice a day.
01:06:36 Steve, Ocean State Libraries (RI): Had libraries pulling things for holds that moved on by the time they tried to check them in to fill the hold.
01:07:00 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: That's exactly what's happening here
01:07:08 Bob Bennhoff: We do ours every 2 hours, partly because we are completely randomized, so if someone gets bad luck and gets hit with all the requests, it will balance out later in the day
01:07:21 Bob Bennhoff: We do tell libraries they need to get things moving on before the next window
01:07:28 Steve, Ocean State Libraries (RI): Only problem is cancelled holds… no notification, so we created a report for libraries to run to show them.
01:12:47 Lauren Denny: gotta go. enjoyed it. Hope to see people at the conference! :)

00:13:07 Lisette Scheer: https://bywatersolutions.com/education/koha-22-11-consortia-and-multi-branch-systems-overview
00:13:39 Juliet Heltibridle: Thank you for the link! It's been harder to find blog posts on the site since they re-arranged the learn section.
00:21:11 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: I do see the option to change pickup location for items in transit on Aspen
00:24:02 Kristina Uvalle: Reacted to "I do see the option ..." with 👍
00:25:31 Kris Amaral- Monterey County Free Libraries-she/her/hers: KOHA Joint ILL access questions

1. What it would take to create a "Link+ type easy interface" within Koha
2. Could we limit it to what catalogs we wanted to show - for example, limit to Salinas, Monterey/PG, Harrison, us, SLO, Paso.
3. Would it be a one time development fees
4. What if any ongoing fees from each participating library
5. any other requirements (such as limitations in other aspects of Koha)
6. Does anyone have this type of set-up, and have you had any issues with it? Pros/cons

00:38:02 Mary Balint: That's a great idea
00:38:29 Mary Balint: I deliberately title my reports "test" so no one else runs them or wants to mess with them
00:38:43 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: that's a good idea! I will try that
00:44:14 Juliet Heltibridle: https://bywatersolutions.com/education/integrating-koha-and-uniques-gentle-nudge
00:46:03 Kris Amaral- Monterey County Free Libraries-she/her/hers: We have ours set up that when items go to lost they automatically go to unique
00:56:41 Jason - SEKLS: GROUP_CONCAT(DISTINCT(items.homebranch)) will list the unique item homebranches if you have the items table drawn in
00:59:38 Jason - SEKLS: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pwIddc_85QgPyMIcX38ir4zhJV_pwJ7wHPTZOc-VfNA/edit?usp=sharing
01:01:59 Michelle CLAMS Library Network: batch editing does not work in 22.11
01:06:13 Kris Amaral- Monterey County Free Libraries-she/her/hers: I have to go! Thanks for the meeting and the discussion! Have a great day!
