A
A
And
we've
got
another
great
video
today,
this
one's
going
to
be
a
little
short,
it's
a
very
short
code,
but
it's
it
deals
with
dressing
up
your
alert
notifications
on
your
home
page
of
coha.
Before
we
get
started.
Of
course,
we
are
sponsored
by
cohan
us.
You
can
find
all
of
our
videos
under
the
learn
tab,
along
with
other
great
resources.
A
If
you
go
to
learn
and
you
click
on
watch
quahog
us
original
training
videos,
you
will
find
all
of
our
episodes
on
this
screen
and
a
lot
of
other
useful
documentation.
Reference
guides
how
to's
almost
anything
that
you
want
koha
you
can
find
here.
B
I
you
should
also
point
out:
this
is
the
last
episode
that
will
be
done
before
the
2021
conference.
But
if
you
look
on
the
screen
there,
there
is
the
link
to
the
2021
conference
that
will
be
happening
next
week
in
mckinney,
texas
and
online.
If
you
don't
want
to
go
to
mckinney.
B
B
If
you
haven't
made
arrangements,
yet
you
can
always
just
watch
it.
Online
it'll
be
on
youtube,
live
tuesday
and
wednesday.
There
are
already
links
to
access
those
live
streams,
I
believe
on
the
calendar
and
then
thursday
and
friday
will
be
workshops
where
you
can
sit
down
with
other
people,
either
in
person
or
remotely,
and
talk
about
things
that
you
want
to
work
on.
So.
A
All
right,
so
our
focus
is
going
to
be
on
the
the
alerts
down
at
the
bottom
of
the
screen.
This
is
generally,
where
alerts
show
up
in
quahog
and
not
something
that
I
was
satisfied
with.
You
know
they
hide
out
down
at
the
bottom
and
they're
really
kind
of
they
blend
in
you
know
they
look
like
any
other
link
and
really
don't
scream.
Hey
notice
me.
These
need
to
be
dealt
with
so
yeah.
B
A
So
in
my
approach
to
enhancing
these
alerts,
I
was
thinking
you
know
these
need
to
stand
out
a
little
bit
better.
They
need
to
be
a
little
bit
bigger,
they
need
to
be
in
a
more
prominent
space,
and
I
was
thinking
about
this
page
a
bit
and
how
you
know
the
news
stands
out.
The
news
is
in
its
own
panel
over
on
the
left-hand
side
of
the
the
screen,
and
I
thought
okay.
A
Well,
if
I
want
alerts
to
be
noticed,
I'm
going
to
put
them
up
at
the
top
of
that
above
the
news
and
you
know,
make
them
stand
out
and
add
a
little
color
to
them.
So
I'm
going
into
jquery
and
I'm
going
to
copy
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
copy
the
whole
block,
so
you're
going
to
get
the
whole
effect
all
at
once,
and
then
we'll
talk
about
what's
happening
here.
So
I'll,
say
that-
and
this
of
course
will
be
available
on
the
the
jquery.
B
A
B
A
And
they're
they're
colored
and
I've
changed
that
section
to
mimic
the
characteristics
of
the
news
panel.
So
for
me
and
for
our
staff,
these
stand
out
a
lot
more
and
scream
hey.
We
need
some
attention,
particularly
you
know
when
you
have
patrons
requesting
modifications
or
suggestions
pending
approval,
you
know
those
those
things
really
need
attention
and
not
sit
forever,
and
you
know:
we've
got
28.
A
And
some
of
our
libraries
are
operated
by
one
person,
and
so
their
attention
is
divided,
and
so
this
screams
that
you
know
this
is
a
little
bit
more
important
needs
to
be
dealt
with
and
we'll
get
some
attention.
George,
you
pointed
out
to
me
just
before
we
started
recording
this
video
that,
in
the
upcoming
upgrades,
these
alerts
are
gonna,
get
some
more
improvement.
B
Yeah,
if
you
let
me
share
my
screen
I've,
our
test
server
has
just
been
updated
to
2105,
and
so,
if
I
share
my
screen,
I
can
show
you
the
suggestions
pending
approval
in
maneuver
in
the
next
upgrade,
if
you're
on
anything
lower
than
2105
right
now,
the
suggestions
pending
approval,
it
adds
the
there
are
nine
pending
approval
from
nichols
and
there
are
244
from
all
the
other
libraries.
If
I
switch
over
to
a
different
library
like
leavenworth
uses,
purchase
suggestions
a
lot.
B
A
A
So,
just
out
of
curiosity-
and
I
haven't
tried
this-
I
haven't
had
my
hands
on
the
the
newer
version
of
coho.
Are
you
able
to
apply
this
to
your
test
server
and
see
what
see
if
I
yeah
it
should
be
those
modifications
yeah,
it's
great,
that
they
modified
that
you
know
those
numbers
were
kind
of
cryptic
to
begin
with.
You
didn't
know
what
the
numbers,
if
their
numbers,
had
anything
to
do
with
your
library
or
another
library.
So
I'm.
A
They're
starting
to
weed
that
out,
so
that
you're
not
wasting
your
time.
Looking
for
your
library's
stuff.
B
It
looks
like
when
you
apply
the
same
jquery
to
to
the
system
in
2105..
You
know.
One
of
the
things
that
I
was
going
to
say
is.
I
think
this
is
css.
B
B
B
B
Well
I'll
put
the
code
together
so
that
it
works
underneath
this
new
alert
box
too
I'll
I'll
figure
out
a
way
to
write
that
up
and
we
can
find
a
place
to
put
it
out
there
so
that
people
can
use
that
too,
because
I
think
for
at
least
for
me
you
know
ever
since
I
you
know
when
I
turned
40
and
had
to
get
glasses
things
like
that
became
more
important
in
my
life
being
able
to
being
able
to
read
the
small
print
on
the
big
screen.
I
understand.
A
O2L,
if
you'll
go
ahead
and
stop
your
share
I'll
share
and
go
over
that
code,
real,
quick,
okay,
yeah,
let's
look
at
the
code,
and
just
so
you
know
so
this
is
our
production
server.
A
A
But
yeah
you
could
make
those
panels
less
opaque
to
be
more
readable.
B
A
So
the
code
is
fairly
simple.
What
I'm
doing
here?
I've
only
got
like
five,
five
or
six
lines
of
code
here.
The
first
section
here
is
basically
creating
an
area
up
above
the
news,
so
it's
looking
for
where
the
news
is
and
prepending
to
it
and
it's
creating
that
area
with
pretty
much
the
same
characteristics.
A
Excuse
me
as
the
the
news
panel
itself,
so
I
I
mimicked
some
of
the
some
of
the
characteristics
of
the
the
news
panel
just
to
make
it
conform
and
look
right
belongs
there,
and
the
next
section
creates
an
info
an
another
div
for
the
info
that
goes
in
there
and
it
sets
up
the
margins
and
it
creates
that
background
color.
So
this
is
where
the
the
yellow
comes
into
play
so
right.
These
individual
panels
are
defined
by
the
pending
info
and
then.
A
On
the
the
link
for
that
pending
info,
it's
adding
on
the
font
awesome,
because
I
love
adding
awesome
right,
especially
the
things
that
need
to
stand
out
a
little
bit
more.
I
think
that
awesome
makes
a
huge
difference,
and
you
know
my
eye
is
just
drawn
to
symbol,
some
symbols,
that
that
mean
something
instead
of
just
like
dots
or
whatever
so
right.
I
love
that
so
then
this
looks
this
line
right
here
is
looking
at
whether
or
not
information
in
there
is
hidden
or
not.
A
If,
if
it's
all
hidden,
then
it's
going
to
hide
that
panel
completely
right
if
the
info
is
just
hidden,
you'll
still
be
left
with
alerts
up
here,
and
I
thought
you
know
if
there's
nothing
showing.
Why
have
that
the
area
defined
at
all
so
or
have
that
area
showing
at
all?
So
if
there
are
no
alerts,
then
the
entire
alerts
section
just
goes
away.
B
A
Yeah,
when
you're
in
a
live
system,
you
know
our
system.
We've
usually
got
a
couple
hundred
pending
that
that
different
libraries
are
working
on
so
anyways.
That
is
the
nuts
and
bolts
of
the
of
the
alerts
moved
it.
We
made
these.
B
A
I
I
think
too,
you
know
in
fact,
I'll
probably
just
keep
that
modification
in
there
when
I
put
it
on
the
wiki,
but
you
know
if
you
want
to.
If
you
want
to
mimic
what
comes
out
of
the
box,
you
certainly
can
you
can
change
that
opacity,
opacity
right
match
it,
but
yeah
this
is
much
more
readable
and
it
makes
the
alerts
stand
out.
I
like
having
it
up
there
it's
much
more
in
your
face
and
and
noticeable,
rather
than
being
some
links
that
get
lost
down
at
the
bottom.
B
We
we
have
an
upgrade
coming
to
our
system
in
november
and
I'll
probably
throw
those
in
there
as
what
I
call
a
stealth
upgrade
I'll
I'll.
Do
it
at
the
same
time
that
we
do
the
full
upgrade
to
2105
and
just
tell
everybody,
that's
part
of
the
part
of
the
upgrade.
B
B
And
I
live
in
an
office
with
barcode.
