Restream helps you multistream & reach your audience, wherever they are.
A
B
Yeah
so
I
work
as
a
community
manager
at
Kong.
So
that's
a
very
broad
role:
I,
look
after
our
open
source
community,
so
everything
related
to
developer
engagement.
That's
me:
I
run
our
Champions
program,
our
contributor
program,
I'm
part
of
the
developer
marketing
team
at
com.
So
we
just
make
sure
we
make
sure
that
you
know
our
developer.
Community
is
Happy
engaged.
We
make
the
adoption
of
our
products
easier.
B
A
B
Yeah,
so
my
talk
is
actually
in
an
hour
or
two,
so
we
talk
about
all
these
great
products
and
projects
here
right
about
these
technical,
great
things
we're
doing,
but
how
exactly
where
our
community
and
our
prospects
hear
about
them
right.
So
that's
where
I
come
so
we
need
to
make
sure
we
have
the
programs
in
place
to
you,
know,
educate
our
community
and
make
the
adoption
our
products
easier.
So
my
talk
is
about
building
and
nourishing
Tech
communities
all
around
the
world.
B
So
everything
thing
that
we
discuss
all
the
great
technical
products
I
then
go
out
and
create
the
programs
to
promote
them
and
make
sure
that
our
community
members
take
advantage
of
them.
They
use
our
products
and
they're
successful.
So
that's
what
my
my
talk
will
be
about
a
little
bit
more
detail:
I
talk
about
user
programs,
so
you
know:
writing
blog
posts,
SEO
Rich,
content,
writing
on
forums
Etc
and
then
for
the
more
engaged.
B
Community
I
show
how
you
can
build
a
contributor
program,
so
everyone
who's
interested
in
that
can
learn
that
from
my
talk
and
then
for
the
rock
stars
in
every
Community,
I
explain
how
you
can
build
the
ambassadors
program,
which,
for
Kong,
is
our
Champions
program.
We
now
have
five
con
Champions
presenting
in
Kong
Summit
I'm
super
proud
of
them
very,
very
happy
that
they're
joining
us
and
then
I
show
how
you
can
measure
your
success.
What
metrics
you
need
and
how
you
can
keep
you
know
record
of
the
growth.
A
This
is
this
is
exciting
and,
and
obviously
it
makes
sense.
So
let
me
ask
you
conch
Champions
I
kind
of
get
it
right.
So
you
those
are
your
ambassadors
exactly.
B
B
So
you
know
the
Champions
program
is
a
fantastic
example
of
how
we
can
engage
with
the
community,
but
it's
extremely
important
to
know
that
it's
not
only
what
they
can
do
for
us,
but
what
we
can
do
for
them
right.
It's
a
two-way
street,
so
we
can't
expect
only
them
to
you
know,
go
and
do
the
speaking
for
us.
I
know
this
one
swag.
A
B
You
need
to
establish
a
value
proposition,
so
what
do
you
provide
for
them?
So
in
our
case
we
provide
free
coaching
mentorship
opportunities,
all
that
kind
of
stuff
that
you
they
can't
get
or
they
can't
get
for
free
out
there.
So
that's
the
time
of
our
Engineers
about
of
our
devrel
team
that
we,
you
know
give
to
them,
which
is
quite
valuable.
You
know
we
review
their
blog
posts.
B
A
B
Kong
Champions
are
the
rock
stars
in
the
community,
but
before
that
for
someone
just
starting
to
use
con
Gateway
or
any
other
products,
they
can
start
by
participating
in
the
contributor
program.
So
the
con
contributor
program
you
can,
we
have
two
parts,
so
you
can
do
participated
with
code
contributions
or
with
the
content
contributions.
So
people
can,
you
know,
contribute
code
to
like
several
of
our
GitHub
repo,
so
can't
get
very
Kuma
insomnia,
you
name
it
and
for
each
one
of
them
we
have
a
different
t-shirt
design.
B
So
you
know
if
we
accept
the
contribution
they
made,
we
send
them
a
t-shirt,
so
it's
kind
of
a
friendly
competition.
They
want
to
win
all
the
t-shirts
and
then
you
have
the
content
contributions.
They
can
write.
Blog
posts
speak
at
meetups,
they
receive
points.
Then
we
send
them
swag.
So
it's
like
one-off
contributions.
That's
how
people
get
involved
with
us
at
early
stage
and
if
they
like
it
later
on,
then
they
become
Champions.
So
that's
kind
of
the
flow.
