On today's stream we took a look through some community messages on the Insomnia Community Slack. Primarily, we looked at https://insomnia.rest/plugins/insomnia-plugin-save-variables and found a way to simulate CSRF token refreshing in such a way that regular request chaining doesn't allow. Cool stuff!

On today's stream we interviewed the authors of Insomnia Documenter (https://github.com/jozsefsallai/insomnia-documenter) and the corresponding Insomnia plugin (https://github.com/devhammed/insomnia-plugin-documenter) about the what new and interesting functionality these plugins bring.

Later on, we spoke about the current facilities of the plugin interface, and how it could be enhanced to better serve use-cases like Insomnia Documenter.

Today we took a look at multi cursor refactors. Multiple cursors can be a super powerful tool for making complex changes at once without risking a typo. VSCode has great multicursor support, but many other IDEs do as well.

On today's stream we demoed the features of Insomnia's Request Chaining feature (22:00). Later (30:00), we started to look through some of Insomnia's top plugins and compared and contrasted how we can use leverage these plugins to do something similar to pre-request scripts.

Today on the stream we took a look at how Insomnia's GraphQL implementation handles GraphQL endpoints that are protected by Authentication, such as OAuth2 but also including Basic Authentication (and any others). We got deep into the inner-workings of Insomnia's request sending architecture.

This week, we looked into a PR by the community for prettifying GraphQL variables

Today on the stream we looked at a solution for using the (now deprecated) functionality of the Electron Remote package by utilizing the IPC that Electron provides. Later we go through an exercise where we diff the raw database for Insomnia's internals. Fun stuff!
