A
Hello
and
welcome
to
the
August
10th
cig,
AWS,
meeting,
Bob
and
I
are
going
to
be
running
the
show
today.
Justin
is
away
on
vacation,
so
we're
gonna
do
the
best
we
can.
It
looks
like
folks
are
interning
and
agenda
now,
but
if
you
have
anything,
you
want
to
bring
up
feel
free
to
add
it
and
we
will
go
through
go
through
as
as
usual
and
looks
like
the
first
one
we
have
is
a
AWS
CSI
driver.
Can
anybody
provide
more
information
on
this
issue.
B
C
Problems,
sorry
about
that
just
add
quality
on
said:
I
think
we
want
the
CSI
driver
that
Yan
and
fab.
You
have
worked
on
to
move
under
siege
AWS
as
a
sub-project,
so
we've
been
also
working
internally
with
the
EBS
team
and
they
have
helped
us
surface
certain
issues
with
EBS.
That
makes
it
difficult
for
the
CSI
driver
to
perform
as
expected,
and
there
is
back
in
fourth
dialogue
and
debate,
that's
going
on
between
our
teams
and
yon
and
other
folks
from
Dockers.
B
C
D
A
Emails,
oh.
E
E
D
F
Are
we
waiting
for?
You
know,
employed
pr's
too
long
and
then
another
release?
I,
don't
know
it's,
they
me
it's
mostly
to
do
with
the
fact
that
when
you
go
to
get
up
releases,
you
still
find
binaries
that
are
called
have
to
thank
you
capable
and
ETS
little
users
have
to
download
one
of
those
binaries,
and
you
know
some
people
install.
It
will
go
again
and
some
people
install
just
yeah.
G
C
G
C
A
It
might
be
useful
here
to
sort
of
like
gather
a
list
of
requirements,
what
folks
need
and
then
maybe
even
what
Amazon
could
offer
I'm,
assuming
you
guys
are
considering
making
some
sort
of
offer
you
here
and
then
also
a
little
bit
of
history.
This
is
probably
one
of
the
weirdest
things
I'll
ever
say,
but
Google
has
an
AWS
account
that
they
run
and
I
used
to
have
access
to
it.
A
I
know,
Justin
I
think
has
access
to
it
and
there's
a
few
other
folks
who
used
to
work
on
cops
in
the
low
and
long
ago
who
have
access
to
it.
So
there
might
be
some
resources
we
could
get
there
and
then
also
the
CNCs
has
come
out
and
said
that
they're
willing
to
kind
of
like
help
with
infrastructure
cost
behind
the
scenes,
so
maybe
an
email
to
the
sig
and
luminance
moon.
Those
folks
might
be
helpful.
I.
D
D
I
think
that
will
definitely
happen
in
safe
custody.
Well,
there
will
be
an
effort
in
suggesting
I
think.
Maybe
the
question
is,
if
they're
also
thinking
of
us
I,
think
I.
Think
your
or
your
question
about
like
what
are
the
requirements.
Here
is
a
good
thing.
It
might
be
worth
it
for
us
to
try
to
figure
out.
Is
there
like
a
good
common
pattern
that
maybe
that
complicates
matters.
H
F
Things
how
long
in
DCP
at
the
moment,
right
because
kind
of,
like
nobody
other
than
people
at
Google,
have
access
to
to
that
infrastructure
and
the
triggering
isn't
done
through
is
been
done
for
like
some
kind
of
CI.
That
is
opposed
to
Google
right,
so
I
wonder
where
the
forks
to
get
abs
and
the
AWS
can
project
right
infrastructure,
whatever
that
may
look
like
and
whether
that
wouldn't
follow
a
similar.
F
D
A
Yes,
I
think
that's
a
good
path,
sorry
for
the
delay.
In
order
for
me
to
use
my
super
obnoxious,
mechanical
keyboard
I
have
to
mute
and
then
I'm
running,
Arch
Linux.
So
every
time
I
mute
I
have
to
reset
my
ALS
a
driver.
So
it's
just
kind
of
annoying
for
me
to
mute
my
microphone
but
I
just
had
it
eat
it.
Sorry
I
met
mechanical
keyboard.
D
A
So
the
next
one
is
mine.
I
gave
a
very
quick
update
yesterday
on
the
community
call
Bob
I
know
you
and
Nishi
were
were
there,
but
in
case
folks
missed
it.
Why
I
guess
like
before
I
even
go
into
this?
Let
me
give
a
little
bit
of
history
here
so
like
about
a
year
and
a
half
ago,
Robert
Bailey
from
Google
the
gke
team
and
myself
got
together
and
said.
The
infrastructure,
deployment,
scene
and
kubernetes
is
fragmented
and
we
hope
to
standardize
that
and
not
started.
A
A
We
assigned
this
SIG
as
one
of
the
owners
so
technically
folks
on
this
call,
we
all
have
ownership.
We
can
all
you
know,
contribute
any
way
we
want
to,
or
we
can
comes
up
or
thumbs
down
things
along
the
way,
but
I
wanted
to
like
make
sure
everyone
felt
welcome,
knew
what
was
going
on
and
give
an
update
on
the
work.
A
It's
very
very
new,
like
we
just
committed
our
first
main
function,
but
it
doesn't
actually
do
anything
yet
so
Tim
Sinclair
is
working
on
a
document
that
goes
through
and
sort
of
describes
the
requirements
and
talks
about
kind
of
what
we
want
to
do
and
I'm
working
on
spearheading
a
document
that
is
aimed
at
collecting
user
experiences
from
running
and
deploying
kubernetes
on
Amazon
everything
from
like
hey.
What
are
the
AWS
rate
limits?
You
experience
well
interacting
with
AWS
co
s
DK
all
the
way.
E
A
You
know
what
was
it's
like
when
we
went
through
and
actually
built
the
resource
implementation
cops
actually
try
to
created
kubernetes
cluster
from
air
for
the
first
time.
So,
if
anybody
has
anything,
they
want
to
share
I,
put
a
link
that
sort
of
like
goes
over
everything
I
just
said,
and
has
pointers
to
all
the
various
talks.
If
you
want
to
check
them
up,
please
do
and
then
in
general
I,
think
an
action
item
for
this
sake
is
figuring
out
how
involved
we
want
to
be
and
how
we
can
like
make
this.
C
C
C
A
B
A
A
I
would
be
saying
this
anytime
soon,
but
I
have
been
tasked
with
making
a
pretty
meaningful
code
change
to
the
cops
codebase
I
talked
with
Justin
about
it,
he's
on
vacation
we're
gonna
sneak
up
next
week,
but
this
is
in
the
space
of
passing
API
server
flags
through
the
cluster
spec,
all
the
way
into
node
up
and
looking
at
solving.
You
know
the
flag
concerned
that
yesterday
isn't
quite
as
plug
through
as
we
would
like
it.
A
Some
of
the
flags
that
you
can
define
in
a
cluster
spec,
don't
actually
make
it
to
the
API
server.
So
I
will
be
looking
at
that
in
the
near
future
and
then,
as
soon
as
we
figure
out
a
solution
there
that
that's
going
to
probably
until
some
sort
of
a
release
as
well
so
I'll
be
putting
back
on.
My
cops,
maintain
your
hat
at
least
to
talk
with
that
feature.
A
little
bit
as
well
and
that's
all
the
updates
I.
E
D
D
Item
but
it's
it
was
definitely
for,
like
the
tail
end
of
the
meeting.
Oh
I
wanted
to
I
wanted
to
propose
a
replacement
for
myself,
as
the
co-chair
and
I
wanted
to
nominate
me.
She
to
take
that
spot.
So
I'm
not
quite
sure
how
you
want
to
accomplish
this
I'm,
seeing
several
thumbs
up
there
we
go.
The
voting
is
going
well.
D
A
You
guys,
can
you
guys
hear
me?
Okay,
yes,
okay!
So
the
way
we
did
this
in
a
handful
of
other
SIG's
is
if
folks,
right
now
in
the
chat,
could
just
do
a
quick
+1
so
that
we
can
capture
your
name
and
the
fact
that
you're
plotting
this
both
sort
of
in
text
will
use
that
will
copy
and
paste
that,
and
then
we
can
just
open
up
the
pr
to
the
community
repo
and
I
think,
we're
we're
pretty
much
good.
