From YouTube: Kubernetes SIG Scheduling Weekly Meeting for 20210311
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
yeah
hi
everyone.
So,
as
you
all
know,
this
meeting
is
recorded
and
will
be
uploaded
to
our
youtube
list.
A
We
have
one
item
on
the
agenda,
which
is
your
the
sixth
generation
deep
dive,
and
so
mike,
do
you
wanna
talk
about
that.
B
Yep
thanks
so
the
six
scheduling
deep
coupons
coming
up
in
a
couple
weeks
and
we
have
to
record
the
deep
dive.
B
B
If
you
see
anything
that
you've
worked
on
in
here
and
want
to
add
some
important
points
to
it
feel
free
to
add
those.
If
there's
anything,
that's
missing
out
of
them
go
ahead
and
add
right
to
this
list.
We're
gonna
be
probably
recording
this
sometime
next
week
and
we'll
send
out
some
slides
ahead
of
time
to
get
extra
feedback
from
the
sig.
B
But
if
you
see
any
big
topics
that
you'd
like
to
be
brought
up
for
the
cubecon
talk
yeah,
this
is
our
just
call
for
suggestions
and
then
be
sure
to
check
it
out
if
you're
going
to
be
attending
kubecon.
I
didn't
really
have
much
else
to
say
than
that.
Just
wanted
to
share
the
list
of
what
at
least
I
had
pulled
out
over
thinking.
I
don't
know
what
kind
of
topics
jan
has
been
looking
at.
I
imagine
probably
a
lot
of
overlap
here.
B
Also
we'll
also
be
talking
about
descheduler
too,
obviously,
so
anything
specific
anything
that
you've
worked
on,
that
I'm
missing.
Add
it
to
this
list
and
we'll
make
sure
that
it
gets
brought
up
at
the
coupon
talk.
A
Sounds
great
thanks
for
taking
the
lead
on
on
this
one.
I
would
also
highlight
the
plug-in
repo
again.
A
I
think
we
we
probably
mentioned
it
in
the
last
count,
but
I
think
it's
worth
highlighting
again
saying
that
we're
moving
towards
that
direction,
where
you
know
trying
to
make
this
scheduler
as
much
as
we
can.
I
think
it's
it's
a
good
sequin
to
into
that
dependency.
In
fact,
yeah
right.
B
Yep,
I
think
that
that's
that's
a
nice
big
driving
momentum
that
we've
had
that
can
pull
in
a
lot
of
new
contributors,
which
is
a
big
goal
that
we
have
to
want
people
contributing
to
this.
A
So,
thank
you
right.
Do
we
do
we
have
an
intro
session
or
just
it's.
B
Just
this
one,
it's
you
know,
intro,
it's
really
more
of
an
intro
than
a
deep
dive,
but
it's
the
same
like
I
think
they
give
us
like
a
half
hour
or
something
which
try
to
devote
half
of
it
to
an
intro
and
half
of
it
to
just
open
q.
A
for
people
to
ask
a
lot
of
questions.
There's
usually
a
lot
of
questions
for
these
stocks,
so
I
think
it
sounds
good.
I
think
it's
a
good
format
that
we've
had
for
the
past
couple
of
cube
counts.
A
Anyone
else
has
any
comments,
suggestions
on
this
topic.
C
Abdullah,
this
is
chen,
so
we
we
are
considering
to
to
submit
a
talk
about
the
tramaran
plugins
scheduler
plugins.
So
are
we
like
talking
about
it?
Seeing
a
supper
talk
about
here?
A
C
Yeah,
so
I
see
after
also
joined
so
so
we
we
contributed
two
new
plugins
and
the
one
is
one
pr
is
still
on
the
review
and
the
other
has
been
merged,
and
then
we
have
done.
These
are
all
tremoring
plugins
so
because
we
only
have
half
an
hour.
So
I
I
don't
know
if
how
much
time
you
will
have
to
cover
those,
and
is
that
possible
for
us
to
have
a
separate
session
to
to
have
a
deep
dive
on
those
two
plugins.
D
I
think,
because
most
general
introductory
detail
on
the
sixth
scheduling
so
yeah
the
a
particular
out
of
the
trade,
plugin
or
kind
of
abstraction
layer
for
the
practice
main
a
good
topic.
So
so
I
would
suggest
that
in
the
next
coupon
you
submit
a
separate
topic
yeah.
But
the
scheduling
deep
dive
is
for
the
core
scheduler
and
the
mechanism
in
very
high
level
to
the
to
the
to
the
users
to
the
audience.
C
Okay:
okay,
thank
you,
yeah.
Okay,
we
will
plan
to
submit
to
separate
separate
abstract
just
for
the
plugins.
B
Yeah
I
mean
I
right
for
this.
I
as
part
of
bringing
up
the
scheduler
plugins
repo.
I
did
want
to
like
briefly
highlight
some
of
the
new
plugins
that
have
been
merged
to
there,
but
not
enough
detail
to
go
into
it
in
in
this
talk,
I
think
for
this
kubecon
you're
past
the
point
to
being
able
to
submit,
but
for
the
next
q
con
definitely
go
ahead.
Yeah
submit
your
own
talk
and
then
you
then
you'll
have
the
full
half
hour
to
devote
to
talking
about
your
details
and
your
implementation.
B
We
don't
really
have
as
much
time
to
go
into
specifics
for
each
of
the
plugins,
especially
with
the
driver
and
plug-ins
that
are
so
in-depth.
C
A
Sounds
good
any
other
topics.
Anyone
wants
to
bring
up,
discuss.
A
Okay,
so,
as
you
all
know,
the
freeze
was
on
march
9th,
which
was
two
days
ago.
I
don't
think
we
have
a
like
they.
I
don't
think
we
have
an
announcement
on
when
the
phrase
will
be
lifted.
Unless
anybody
else
knows
anyone
else
know
if,
if
they've
announced
already
they're
lifting
the
freeze,
when
when
that
will
happen,
we
can
check.
Let
me.
A
Yeah
it's
still
there.
There
should
be
a
timeline
there.
I
would
encourage
anyone
who
wants
to
submit
new
features
to
like
really
start
working
on
the
kips
right
now.
The
cap
usually
freezes
much
earlier
than
the
code
freeze
and,
if
you're
thinking
about
contributing
new
features,
just
get
them
ready
as
soon
as
you,
even
if
the
freeze
right
now,
you
can
just
pull,
you
know,
send
a
pull
request
and
get
like
one
first,
quick
round
of
reviews
from
the
the
seg
you
know
contributors
before
we.
A
D
Possible,
and
also
I
want
either
note
to
the
release
of
the
scattering
plugins.
So,
unlike
the
kubernetes
kubernetes,
which
has
a
very
formal
and
standard
timeline,
the
scheduling,
plug-in
repo
doesn't
have
a
fixed
timeline
of
which
time
we
do
releases
for
now.
We
do
release
this
very
ad
hoc
way,
so
it
quite
depends
on
which
particular
feature
like
post
plugin
that
the
core
cube
and
this
schedule
have.
If
your
quest
depends
on
that,
you
have
to
render
the
particular
upstream
kubernetes.
D
And
mike
you
may
get
some
questions
from
the
audience
that
asking
the
how
to
install
or
manage
the
installation
of
the
scheduler
versus
schedule,
plugin
images-
so
there's
still
some
instantaneous
things
to
to
talk
about
because
a
lot
of
people
mixing
things
like
how
to
do
the
how
to
run
the
cube,
scheduler
binary
versus
how
to
do
the
do
the
configurations
of
cc
the
scheduler
config.
So
maybe
you
can
provide
some
q
a
there
or
just
answer
them
in
the
media.
It's
just
a
yeah,
just
a
question.
B
Yeah
I've
seen
a
lot
of
the
questions
coming
in
recently
about
how
to
set
up
the
set
up
a
custom
scheduler
how
to
set
up
scheduler
plugins
and
looks
like
you
guys
have
been
working
through
improving
the
docs
in
there
to
make
it
easier
to
deploy,
to
which
I
think
is
great,
will
probably
help
a
lot
of
people
but
yeah.
D
We
know
that
some
some
companies
has
adopted
the
scheduling
framework
has
built
their
screening
plugins
or
used
over
plugins
located
in
description
level.
One
data
point
is
from
the
open
ai.
They
recently
have
a
kind
of
famous
article
says
they
started
to
7500
nails
on
there
and
in
that
article
they
mentioned
that
they
used
the
code.
Scheduling,
plugin
and
also
one
of
their
developers
also
contributed
some
great
idea
to
a
scheduling
framework.
So
that's
one
that
point
and
another
is
the
one
blog
in
the
in
the
kubernetes
official
blog,
which
is
by
cockroach
lab.
