A
We
are
recording
hi
everyone,
so
this
is
september.
10Th,
epec,
six
contributor
experience,
epic
bi-weekly
meeting
first
thing
in
the
business
is
the
coc
we
are.
This
meeting
is
bound
by
the
kubernetes
code
of
conduct
and,
to
be
short,
please
be
nice
to
everyone.
Please
be
mindful
of
what
you
say
in
this
meeting,
because
this
is
being
recorded
and
would
be
publicly
available
and,
let's
start
with
the
agenda
today.
A
So
first
of
all,
is
there
any
new
contributor
here?
Can
we
have
an.
B
Okay,
so
I
am
divya
and
I
think
most
of
you
all.
C
B
But
I
this
is
my
first
time
on
the
apac
meeting,
so
I
have
been
planning
to
join
this
meeting
since
ages,
but
unfortunately
this
is
the
time
I
normally
get
up.
So
today
is
the
first
time
I'm
joining
this
meeting.
I
have
worked
on
the
kubernetes
release.
A
Welcome
to
the
group
thanks
for
joining
thanks
for
taking
the
time
to
join,
so
I
don't
think
we
have
any
new
contributors
in
the
meeting
right
now,
let's
go
ahead,
so
I
don't
think
we
have
any
updates
right
now
now.
Turning
over
to
the
agenda,
first
agenda
is
from
me,
so
I
have
been
noticing
in
the
last
few
meetings
that
there
is
low
turnout.
So
I
was
thinking
like
what
can
we
do
to
make
it
better?
A
Is
it
the
time
or
is
it
the
cadence
thinking
about
the
time
slot?
It's
not
very
flexible
because
it's
morning
in
maybe
ist
or
euro
western
european
time,
but
it
is
in
the
evening
for
the
farthest
things
like
new
zealand
or
australia
or
japan.
So
we
really
don't
have
much
headway
there
or
leeway
there.
A
D
Right
so
I
I
was
thinking
about
that
right
last
week.
Also
we
discussed
that
right.
I
mean
what
would
be
a
good
way
to
get
more
people
in,
and
I
guess
one
thing
we
lack
is
a
charter
of
sorts
right.
I
mean
I
know
we
have
been
trying
to
do
a
lot
of
things
and
I
believe
it
would
be
helpful
if
we
can
have
you
know
a
set
of
hardware
set
of
things
that
you
would
want
to
achieve
set
of
outcomes.
We
would
want
to
have
from
this
particular
meeting
for
apec
right.
D
C
Help
so
personally,
like
when
I've
reached
out
to
other
people
from
like
other
countries
for
in
apac
regions
to
show
up
here.
I've
noticed
that
most
of
them
well,
they
are
supportive
of
the
initiative
that
we're
doing
like
increasing
engagement
in
apac,
but
they
since
it's
like
there's
like
this
language
barrier
and
they
aren't.
Sometimes
they
aren't
super
comfortable
with
english.
C
They
don't
show
up
in
meetings
some.
It
could
be
just
because,
like
maybe
they're,
just
not
comfortable
speaking
in
english
and
not
un
comfortable
conversing
in
english
as
well.
C
I'm
not
I'm
not
sure
what
to
do
on
that
front,
because,
like
every
time
I've
reached
out
on
the
country
specific
channels,
I
receive
thumbs
up
emojis,
but
then
I
don't
like.
I
don't
see
any
people
following
up.
A
That
is
actually
an
interesting
problem.
We
really
don't
have
much
to
do
there
because.
C
D
C
Yeah,
maybe
I
think
I'm
hoping
once
we
get
a
blog
post
or
something
I
would
it
could
help
increase
awareness
around
what
we're
doing
and
get
more
folks
in,
but
I'm
not
too
sure
if
it
helps
with
like
the
language
language
issue,.
D
Yeah,
I
mean
that's
what
I
wanted
to
point
out
right
this
I
mean
we
have
been
discussing
a
lot
of
things
like
I'm
just
wondering
if
there
could
be
one
or
two.
You
know
key
deliverables
that
come
out
of
this,
then
you
know,
then
people
might
have
some
direction
that
okay,
you
know.
D
Okay,
this
is
what
the
meeting
is
about,
and
this
is
how
we
can
actually
increase
the
engage,
which
means
this
is
how
we
can
help
in
doing
things
right
and
that
might
actually
help
some
people
to
get
on
board
as
well.
Just
a
thought
really
open
to
hearing
from
that.
C
I
think
I
think
that
make
complete
sense.
I
know
I
haven't
been
like
I've
been
a
little
away
from
the
apac
stuff
for
the
past
few
weeks,
but
yeah.
C
I
think
we
should
try
to
get
something
in
probably
and
by
end
of
this
month
at
least
and
see
how
that
affects
things,
and
regarding
the
meeting
time
like
I
don't
know,
if
we
have
too
much
room
to
make
changes
for
it,
but
personally,
like
most
stuff,
I
also
attend
a
lot
of
meetings
and
late
indian
time
zones
because
of
like
most
of
the
sig
meetings
or
some
of
my
internal
meetings
end
up
late
at
night
because
of
us
because
most
of
them
have
us
folks
joining
in,
and
this
ends
up
a
little
early-ish
for
me
in
the
morning.
C
It's
this
kind
of
makes
it
hard
to
show
up
here.
Sometimes
I
don't
know
if
others
feel
that
way
too.
D
Now
I
guess
time
wise,
I'm
fine
if
others
are
also
correct
and
third
is
okay.
I
mean
nine
o'clock
was
early.
We
had
that
lcw
meeting,
so
I
I
there
was
no
care
no
way.
I
could
have
joined
there,
but
I
guess
I
am
has
a
couple
of
points
on
the
chat.
A
Okay,
yes,
we
we,
we
are
reading
the
chat,
so
I
agree
with
your
point
also
saying
that
we
have
to
increase
the
reach,
so
I
have
been
talking
to
a
few
people
who
may
be
interested
in
contributing
upstream,
but
then
they
never
knew
about
this
meeting.
A
So
I
agree
with
that
point
that
we
should
be
doing
some
outreach.
So
with
that
point
I
think
we
should
talk
to
the
upstream
marketing
folks
once
and
I
I
think
that
the
method
to
tweet
now
is
automated.
We
just
need
to
create
an
issue
in
the
contributor
to
its
repo
and
then
they
will
tweet
it
out.
That
is
one
thing
that
I
can
see
how
we
can
increase
the
reach.
A
The
other
one
is
basically
shouting
out
to
this
event
to
this
meeting,
specifically
in
anything
that
you
do
any
upstream,
related
thing
that
you
do.
How
does
that
sound
to
others?.
C
Last
one
for
me:
what
specific
things
would
we
discuss
with
the
marketing
team.
A
D
Go
ahead,
please
yeah!
No!
Whatever
basically
thing
is
I
mean
they
have.
This
scared
us
contributors
right
and
they
do
a
lot
of
short,
shout
outs
for
meetings
or
you
know
some
new
blogs
published
or
those
kind
of
things
right.
So
we
can
just
create
an
issue
in
their
repo
and
they
will
take
it
out.
I
guess
caslin
and
chris
are
handling
that
twitter
account,
so
we
can
probably
ask
them
to,
but
the
problem
there
would
be
that
we'll
have
to
schedule.
D
The
tweet,
like
you
know,
half
an
hour
before
the
meeting,
or
you
know
one
hour
before
the
meeting
so
that
people
in
apec
time
zone
see
that
and
then
you
know
they
know
that
okay,
this
meeting
is
going
to
happen
in
next
half
hour
or
an
hour
and
then
they
can
join
it
so
that
it
can
increase
engagement
like
this.
That's
a
pretty
good
idea.
A
D
B
D
C
Yeah,
no,
I
mean
I
I'm
just
thinking
out
loud
right
now,
so
would
it
make
sense
to
set
up
so
like
when
you
said,
like
our
main
goal
is
to
increase
community
engagement
and
the
way
we
do
that
is
to
get
more
folks
in,
and
we
can
get
more
folks
in
if
we
mentor
folks
to
get
like
mentor
them
to
get
in,
and
maybe
we
could
set
up
something
that
is
specific
to
apac
regions,
a
mentorship.
C
C
Like
he's
mentoring,
a
group
of
some
five
people
or
something
for
just
getting
them
started
with
signals
or
something
similar
with
whatever
people
are
working
on
in
this
call
already,
they
show
other
people
how
to
do
it,
and
maybe
we
could
hold
sessions
in
this
call
just
to
like
walk
through
some
of
that
stuff,
like
whatever
people
are
working
on
to
give
an
intro,
and
since
this
would
be
recorded
like
people
not
just
an
apac
can
use
it.
C
Other
people
can
use
it
as
well,
but
this
is
like
very
thinking
out
loud
right
now.
What
what
do
you
think.
A
A
B
Yeah,
just
just
add
on,
I
had
a
thought
so
a
lot
of
folks
so,
like
I
I
remember
talking
about
this
with
you
nikita
a
lot
of
folks
approach
us
for
you
know
getting
started
with
contributing
to
open
source.
In
general,
I
mean
it's
not
just
like
learning
kubernetes
or
something
but
getting
started
with
contributions
in
general.
B
Maybe
if
we
could
do
something
around
that,
like
mentorship,
not
like
a
formal
thing
like
you
said,
but
maybe
an
informal
getting
started
to
open
source
with
this
project,
it
would
make
sense
because
it
is
impossible
to
actually
sit
and
tell
every
person
right.
Okay,
you
have
to
go
here
and
some
work
on
this
issue.
This
is
the
good
well.
This
is
a
good
first
issue.
B
You
can
go
here
and
you
can
do
this
so
if,
if
via
that,
we
can
have
some,
you
know
not
tutorial,
I
don't
know
how
to
put
it,
but
some
some
sort
of
guidance
on
how
they
can
get
started
with
good
first
issues.
I
think
that
would
be
a
very
good
first
step
to
getting
people
involved
in
the
community
and
in
the
project
in
general.
B
I
don't
know
again,
this
is
just
something
I
thought
of
right
now
in
addition
to
what
you
just
said.
So
I'm
not
sure
if
that
was
what
you
were.
D
That
does
exactly
this
thing
right:
how
to
find
good
first
issues
and
how
to
solve.
A
A
I
think,
after
that
it
will
get
streamlined.
One
thought
I
just
had,
in
my
mind,
was
like
we
do
have
content
right
over
there
on
youtube
on
the
kubernetes
docs.
The
new
contributor
website
is
coming
up
really
well.
A
A
C
I'm
a
big
plus
one
for
that.
I
think
like
people
yeah,
I
guess
we
do
have
information
and
material
out
there
and
it's
just
pointing
folks
to
it
when
it
comes
to
starting
out.
At
this
point
I
so
like
what
I
was
thinking
is
like
whenever
people
come
to
me
about
what
they
want
to
work
on
and
open
source
like
I
don't
know
what
to
work
on,
or
it
seems
too
confusing,
and
it's
too
intimidating.
C
So
since
we
already
have
people
on
this
call
who
are
doing
stuff,
maybe
something
specific
might
be
helpful
like
I
know,
nabarron
does
a
lot
of
stuff
on
enhancements
and,
like
maybe
the
python
client,
so
he
could
walk
us
through
that,
and
if
we
have
something
specific
like
that
already
in
the
agenda,
we
can
tweet
about
it
and,
like
let
people
know
beforehand,
so
that
they
could
try-
and
I
don't
know
if
that
makes
sense.
A
That
does
make
sense.
So
one
follow-up
question
to
our
discussion
like
how
do
we
coordinate
this
effort?
Will
it
be
an
official
kind
of
thing
like
send
out
a
form
that
hey
there
are
people
who
are
willing
to
lend
time
in
mentoring?
You
please
sign
up
for
your
in
sign
up
your
interest.
Using
this
form.
C
That's
a
very
good
question.
I
think
we
should
sync
with
the
mentoring
subproject
as
well.
I
know
paris
did
something
where
it
was
a
little
ad
hoc
starting
out
first
ignored
and
the
dem's
mentorship
thing.
C
I
don't
know
if
she
has
thoughts
on
how
we
should
structure
this
one,
but
I
like
we
should
make
sure
that
we
sync
with
the
mentoring
subproject
just
to
make
sure
we
don't
end
up
doing
something.
That's
not
usually
structured
the
way
we
structure
things,
but
in
general,
I'm
not
sure
like.
If
we
put
out
a
form,
I'm
just
afraid
that
people
are
gonna
sign
up
because
hey
that
sounds
interesting,
but
there
are
very
few
people
who
actually
follow
up
at
the
end
of
the
day.
D
Right
plus,
you
know,
since
people
are
not
coming
up
as
well,
I
think
it
might
have
low
turnout
effect.
What
I
was
thinking
is
probably
we
could
have
couple
of
office
hours
kind
of
a
thing.
Right
I
mean
not.
It
doesn't
have
to
be
a
regular
thing
right,
probably
some
some
adult
stuff
where
you
can
just
talk
about
that.
Okay,
this
is
what
we
are
planning
to
do
if
somebody's
interested
to
let
us
know
that
might
generate
some
traffic.
I
don't
know
just
a.
D
C
A
Sorry
push
go
ahead.
If
I
cut
you
short.
D
No,
no,
I
was
just
saying
that
sounds
good.
I
guess
mentioning
can
also
help
us.
I
mean
I
don't
want
it
to
be
a
you
know,
formalized
thing
because
you
know
then
then
it
becomes
a
bit
of
you
know,
pressure
on
the
people
who
is
getting
mentored
as
well
like.
I
just
want
to
keep
it
a
bit
informal
so
that
you
can
just
talk
about
things
and
then
you
can
guide
them
and
let
them
do
this
thing
on
their
own.
That
might
make
people
more
comfortable.
D
But
again,
whatever
the
matting
sub
project
is
okay
with.
A
C
B
D
C
You
thanks
vivian
and
other
slack
threads
as
well,
and
this
would
be
the
sick
country,
slack
channel
right,
yeah.
B
A
Also,
if
you
want
to
get
focused
third,
there
is
the
ncw
staff
slack
channel.
That's
not
strictly
mentoring,
sub
project,
but
most
of
the
mentoring
subproject
folks
are
also
there.
B
So
first
I
will
just
speak
on
speak
on
the
sick,
contrabax
slack
right
or
do
you
want
me
to
dm
the
person.
A
I
I
think
it's
better
if,
like
the
conversation
happens
on
the
slack
channel,
because
others
can
also
pitch
in
then
with
their
ideas,
even
if
they
are
not
from
the
sub
mentoring,
sub
project.
A
Thanks
again
for
taking
this
up
cool
so
moving
on
to
the
so,
does
anyone
have
any
other
thoughts
on
this
point
or
shall
we
move
ahead.
A
Okay,
I
take
this
as
that
we
should
move
it.
Do
you
want
to
pick
it
up?
The
next
agenda
item
is
from
you.
D
Yes,
so
this
is
something
that
we
have
been
playing
for
quite
some
time
right,
and
so
I
just
thought:
okay,
you
know
I'll
just
get
started
right,
so
I
asked
manjunath
he's
been,
you
know
he
has
been
my
biggest
colleague
and
you
know
he
has
worked
a
lot
in
community.
I
guess
he's
also
either
a
reviewer
or
a
maintainer
level
for
test
intro.
So
that's
pretty
good
profile.
So
I
asked
him
to
fill
the
the
form
that
you
created
above
and
I
guess
he
has
what
of
responses.
D
E
This
is
jay.
I
just
want
to
check
with
you
this
form
which
you
are
sharing
with
the
user.
It's
ready
to
be
shared
with
the
community
members
right
or
we
are
still
in
the
draft
mode,
because
the
last
time
I
was
speaking
to
nabarro,
he
said
that
it
was
in
draft
mode.
So
I'm
I
missed
one
or
two
three
meetings.
D
You
know,
I
guess
I
asked
the
contributor
comes
also
to
look,
I
mean
basically
the
upstream
marketing
team,
I
I
checked
with
them
also,
and
they
were
pretty
much
okay
with
the
content,
so
I
guess
you
know,
okay
to
roll
it
up.
Okay,
we
can
just
incrementally
update
this
if
there
is
something
number
on
any
thoughts
on
that.
A
I
think
we
have
it
soaked
it
for
a
quite
a
significant
amount
of
time.
Now
we
did
post
it
on
posted
with
the
other
groups,
which
may
be
interested
in
having
a
look
and
reviewing
the
document.
I
think
we
should
go
ahead
now
and
send
it
out
to
the
contributors.
A
And
just
note
down
the
names
on
that
document,
whoever
we
have
communicated
to
like
send
send
the
forms
to
okay,
yeah.
A
D
A
A
Who
is
there
on
the
list
in
that
document
that
we
created
for
discussing
all
the
ideas
and
once
all
the
responses
come
in
then
so
we
should
have
a
deadline
to
basically
sending
the
form
out
to
folks
and
then
a
deadline
for
getting
the
responses,
basically
ping
people
that
he
by
this
time
you
have
to
put
in
your
responses
and
because
we
will
start
working
on
the
blogs
and
then
have
a
milestone,
then
actually
plan
out
the
blogs
we
may
have
n
number
of
vlogs
or
just
a
single
block.
A
A
A
Awesome,
so
I
don't
think
we
have
anything
else
on
the
agenda.
Does
anyone
want
to
put
in
any
of
their
open
discussion,
thoughts
right?
No,
otherwise
we
will
end
the
call,
because
we
are
already
two
minutes
over
time.
A
Going
once
twice
twice
good,
thank
you,
everyone
for
taking
the
time
to
attend
this
meeting.
We
all
appreciate
all
of
your
efforts
in
the
community
and
we
will
meet
again
two
weeks
later.
Thank
you.
Everyone
have
a
nice
day
or
evening
ahead.
