Description
KCSNA 2022 Planning for 20220808
A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
to
the
august
8th
today's
contributor
summit,
north
america
2022
meeting
as
a
general
reminder,
these
calls
are
recorded
and
will
be
posted
to
youtube
later.
We
abide
by
the
scenes
of
code
of
connect
which
essentially
boils
down
to
please
be
excellent
to
each
other.
A
With
that,
let's
roll
right
into
things
first,
small
update
the
website
is
now
live,
although
it
is
just
like
you
know.
Basically,
hey
this
is
happening,
we'll
be
wanting
to
stop
it
out
with
the
registration
cfp
and
any
other
sort
of
information
as
as
soon
as
we're
sort
of
getting
it
going
here.
B
All
right
so
deb
is
not
able
to
join
us
today,
so
bear
with
me
I'm
kind
of
stepping
in
for
both
of
us.
Let
me
just
take
a
look
here.
B
I
have
so
many
windows
open
hold
on
one
second,
all
right,
so
we
have
put
together
the
registration
form.
I
will
be
getting
that
over
to
you
guys,
via
slack
later
today,
as
well
as
the
sheet
that
you
can
add
any
edits
to
it.
Again.
All
pages
are
in
testing
phase.
So
don't
worry
if
you
click
on
something
it's
not
actually
live.
B
B
The
powerpoint
template
is
also
available
and
is
linked
in
github.
So
if
you
have
any
questions
or
edits
or
anything
like
that,
just
let
me
know
reception
options.
I
have
been
collecting
and
collecting
and
collecting
reaching
out
to
places.
I
have
a
pretty
good
list
started
and
hopefully
we'll
be
able
to
present
that
to
you
either
later
this
week
or
in
next
week's
meeting
hoodies,
I
have
been
working
with
our
vendor
to
get
some
options
and
pricing
for
hoodies
as
well.
B
So
I
should
have
that
coming
your
way
biggest
question
right
now
is
if
we
are
able
to
get
a
tentative
design
that
would
help
with
our
you
know,
getting
a
more
accurate
pricing
structure.
Final
design
artwork
will
be
due
to
the
vendor
august
29th.
So
keep
that
in
mind
as
well,
but
if
we
could
get
just
a
tentative
design
or
you
know
an
idea
that
I
can
at
least
pass
off
to
our
vendor
for
some
pricing
that
would
be
really
helpful.
B
Also,
we
have
different
options,
I'm
not
sure
if
you
guys
prefer
like
a
zip
up
style
or
like
a
pullover
hoodie,
any
suggestions,
comments
or
thoughts.
There.
B
I
I
mean
I
personally
agree,
I
think
they're
a
little
bit
easier
and
more
comfortable,
but
I
wanted
to
check
with
you
and
see
what
your
thoughts
were
so.
D
Yes,
my
my
empirical
experience
of
this
past
week
when
I
was
on
pto
in
scotland,
is
that
my
husband
fussed
with
his
pullover
when
we
were
at
the
edinburgh
fringe
festival
and
my
zip
up
was
just
perfect.
So.
A
B
Awesome,
I
will
note
that
down.
That
makes
it
easier
for
me
great
all
right,
that's
pretty
much
all
I
had
today.
So
my
biggest
thing
is:
if
I
could
just
get
a
tentative
artwork
from
you
guys
and,
like
I
said,
just
keep
in
mind,
the
final
artwork
will
be
due
august
29th
to
the
vendor,
so
as
you're
kind
of
working
through
things
make
sure
you
have
that
noted.
B
In
the
back
of
your
mind,
it
is
also
on
the
umbrella
document
and
then
yes
be
on
the
lookout
for
the
registration
test
links
today.
A
So
a
couple
big
things
on
that
not
necessary
on
the
arc,
but
on
reg
we
will
want
to
prep
comms
and
update
the
website
as
soon
as
reg
is
essentially
good
to
go.
At
this
point,
we
want
to
start
up
the
sort
of
regular
calms
of
sending
stuff
out
to
kdev
and
our
various
you
know
places
is
like
every
time
it
happens
like
every
time
we
send
an
email,
you
literally
see
like
20
or
50
registrations,
next
email,
20
or
50
registrations.
B
No
announcements
and
I
know
caslin,
I
believe
you
have
the
comms
sheet-
that
you
were
kind
of
reviewing.
Okay,
perfect.
Did
you
have
any
questions
with
that
or
you're
still
kind
of
looking
through
everything.
B
B
And
I
will
actually
be
out
on
thursday,
friday
and
next
monday,
but
deb
will
be
available
next
monday.
So
any
questions
you
guys
have
maybe
just
include
myself
and
deb
and
then
one
of
us
will
make
sure
we
get
back
to
you
guys.
B
I
do
have
a
few
that
I
personally
think
seem
really
fun,
I'm
just
kind
of
working
with
them
on
pricing
and
everything
to
make
sure
that
they
are
within
line.
So
I
don't
want
to
share
them
and
get
anybody
too
excited
or
hopes
up.
But
I
do
have
a
few
options.
I
think
are
really
good.
A
D
B
A
Okay,
any
other
questions
comments
at
this
point
for
brienne.
A
Okay,
then,
we'll
swing
over
to
jason
for
content.
F
Yeah
not
too
many
updates.
Right
now,
I
did
confirm
from
volunteers
actual
shadows,
so
thank
you
to
laura
markey,
priyanka
and
jim
who's,
going
to
be
doing
double
duty
between
ops
and
content.
F
So
I've
reached
out
to
everybody
confirm
that
they're
on
board
next
thing
is:
is
we're
gonna
start
digging
through
some
of
the
old
registration
data,
san
diego
in
particular,
which
is
the
last
one
that
we
had
a
in-person
event?
That
was,
you
know,
planned
for
that
didn't
end
up
getting
canceled
or
shifted
and
all
that
fun
stuff.
F
So,
hopefully,
that'll
help
start
giving
us
a
guide
of
what
different
content
types
we
want
to
put
together
for
the
cfp
and
you
know,
start
working
on
building
up
the
cfp,
also
taking
in
once
the
registration
goes
live
some
of
the
live
feedback
of
what
types
of
content
people
want
to
help
continue.
Iterating
on
that
yep.
A
G
A
Okay,
we'll
kick
over
to
keslyn
for
comms.
E
Hello,
so
I
grabbed
basically
the
notes
from
last
time
and
put
them
in
here.
We've
got
the
link
to
our
comms,
the
comms
tracker
that
I
made
for
eu
that
I
used
to
track
the
emails,
twitter
and
also
slackbot,
and
some
other
things
so
I'll,
be
using
that
as
a
guide.
E
As
I
get
the
various
columns
that
we'll
need
for
this
event
kind
of
sorted
out
this
week,
we've
also
got
the
comstock
from
the
cncf
team
which
they
sent
out
after
our
last
meeting,
so
it
has
kind
of
the
the
basic
emails
that
we're
going
to
need
throughout
the
whole
thing.
I
need
to
update
the
dates
on
them
and
go
ahead
and
start
updating
the
content
of
those.
E
A
G
Hey
everyone,
not
many
updates
from
my
side,
still
waiting
on
the
red's
form
to
be
shared,
then
we
will
give
feedbacks
to
that
and
on
the
shadow
side
we
do
have
two
shadows.
Arno
has
volunteered
again
to
do
registrations
and
we
have
harshly
press
someone
who
is
joining
new
in
the
team.
So
that's
on
website.
G
Hopefully
we
will
have
more
updates
in
the
next
few
weeks
and
also
I'll
work
with
comms
before,
like
after
we
finalize
the
reg
form
and
before
we
are
about
to
like
share
it
about
the
email
and
just
to
rank
like
what's
happening
with
the
email.
A
A
Also,
just
remember,
staff
will
have
a
separate
reg
link
for
your
shadows
that
aren't
on
the
call.
Please
remember
to
share
that
specific.
Look
at
them.
We'll
update
this
stock
with
it
as
well.
A
Okay,
we'll
move
right
on
to
awards
ray
I'm
assuming
this
is
you
yes,.
H
So
I
added
a
few
topics,
just
some
updates
from
last
time
as
well.
I
did
make
some
updates
to
like
the
contributor
site.
We
didn't
have
the
2021
recipients
on
the
contributor
site.
So
now
we
do
that
that
prs
merged
a
few
over
a
week
ago
same
with
the
actual
github
repo
as
well.
We
also
need
to
figure
out
like
what
that,
where
the
single
source
of
truth,
where
that
the
rewards
recipients
will
be,
but
that
could
be,
we
could
talk
about
that
later.
H
H
I
know
there's
a
slack
group
for
artists
in
the
kubernetes
slack
channel
that
would
that
we
could
paying
up
as
that
we
could
ping
as
well
and
reach
out
to-
and
I
believe,
deb
also
helped
with
the
creating
of
the
awards
from
last
time.
I
have
to
go
back
in
my
notes
on
that.
So
as.
A
Far
as
the
like
ordering
and
procurement
of
the
awards,
yeah
and
the
the
form
factor
that
we
used
was
mostly
ones
that
we
that
we
could
get
shipped
well
like
would
you
have
to
be
involved?
Yes,
that
will
be
less
of
an
issue
this
time
around.
So
there's
a
bit
more,
you
know,
can
keep
the
same
form
factor.
You
know.
If
you
haven't
again
award
multiple
years,
it
might
be
nice
to
hang
them
up.
You
know
by
each
other,
but
there's
at
least
a
bit
more.
You
know
room
for
creativity.
There.
H
Yeah-
and
I
agree
with
all
those
points-
it's
something
we
we
need
to
start,
I
guess
talking
or
bringing
up
the
conversation
about.
I
could
do
that
in
slack
after
this
meeting.
H
Second
topic
is
we
also
need
to
update
the
nomination
guide
as
well
from
what
we,
what
we
converse
in
slack,
because
from
one
or
less
from
my
experience
from
last
time
was
that
a
lot
of
sick
leads
wanted
to
look
at
something
github
to
to
see
the
guidelines
and
see
like
you
know
how
they
could
nominate
or
or
what
their
key
points
denomination
are,
and
so
we've
had
some
discussion
over
slack.
So
we
just
need
to
codify
that
from
that,
that's
it.
A
For
me,
awesome
thank
you.
I
will
say
the
sort
of
just
like
with
the
shirts
and
or
you
know,
the
hoodies
and
our
other
swag.
Those
are
the
things
we
have
to
get
the
ball
rolling
on
sooner
rather
than
later,
just
because
the
the
lead
time
in
ordering.
A
Does
anyone
else
have
any
sort
of
questions
comments
regarding
awards.
B
I
will
say
just
to
reiterate:
yes,
everything
is
taking
a
little
bit
longer
than
usual.
Our
vendor
has,
let
us
know
to
add
an
additional
like
three
weeks
on
to
anything
just
to
be
safe
right
now,
so
even
for,
like
the
hoodies
she's
saying,
give
about
six
weeks,
lead
time
for
ordering.
So
just
keep
that
in
mind,
because
you
know
supply
chain
issues
and
everything
else
going
on
in
the
world.
So.
A
A
A
Then
we
will
move
on
to
celebration.
I
do
not
see
xander
on
the
call
cece.
You
are
helping
him
right
shadowing
under
him.
B
A
A
I
also
realized
that
ops
is
not
on
our
templates
I'll,
be
adding
that
to
the
template
after
this
noah.
Do
you
have
any
updates.
C
As
I
did
notice
in
under
the
community
events
portion
in
github
there's
no
sort
of
ops
handbook,
so
I
may
try
and
take
this
to
try
and
write
something,
but
most
of
operations
waits
until
we
at
least
have
a
solid
framework
for
content.
So
we're
we're
much
closer
to
the
event
than
than
pre-planning.
C
A
C
I
did
notice
in
the
sheet
that
you
sent
out
that
listed
all
the
staff.
I
do
have
one
question
because
it
asks
for
a
number
and
I
want
to
ask
how
many
digits
do
we
get
wait.
A
Two
and
we'll
update
on
that
one
in
a
moment:
okay,
okay
with
that,
I'm
going
to
stop
recording
if
folks
can
stand
the
line
for
another
minute.
That
would
be
great.
