A
Hi
everyone:
this
is
the
March
7th
2022
Sig
docs
localization
subgroup
meeting
this
meeting
is
being
recorded
and
cncf
code
of
conduct
rules
are
in
effect,
so,
let's
all
be
nice
to
each
other
and
I'm
going
to
look
at
the
agenda
looks
pretty
light.
A
First
topic
is
an
update
on
the
lot
of
Latin
and
Native
script
best
practices
this
is
described
here.
I
did
reach
out
to
several
of
the
localization
teams
that
are
affected
by
this
and
tried
to
contact
them
via
slack
and
gave
them
all
the
details
and
asked
for
some
volunteers.
A
So
that's
the
update
there
and
next
on
the
agenda.
Oh
first
of
all,
is
there
anyone
new
I?
Think
it
was
everyone
here
was
not
new,
but
just
in
case
I
I
was
not
correct.
Is
there
anyone
here
who's
new
to
the
call.
A
Okay,
that's
all
the
regulars
and
you
know
feel
free
to
add
your
name
to
the
participant
list.
So
next
up
is
Natalie
Natalie.
The
agenda
is
yours.
B
Yeah,
thank
you
so
much
Brad
and
hi
everyone
Natalie
here
co-chairs
of
docs
and
a
quick
update
on
our
plans
to
try
and
spin
up
a
official
localizations
project
and
I
just
want
to
kind
of
get
everyone
on
the
same
page
with
regards
to
what
we're
what
we're
up
to
and
what
we're
doing.
I've
posted
in
the
agenda.
B
The
put
together
cap
that
we've
that
we've
written
the
kubernetes
enhanced
proposal,
obviously
heavily
edited
from
what
our
usual
Camp
looks
like,
given
that
this
isn't
something
that
has
a
design,
docs
or
tests,
or
anything
like
this.
But
I've
put
that
together
in
a
hack
MD,
and
we
are
going
to
actually
put
that
in
a
in
a
PR
for
a
lot
of
for
our
tech,
leads
and
sigdocs
to
be
able
to
look
at
and
get
feedback
on.
B
And
then
what
we'll
be
doing
is
once
we've
gotten
feedback
from
the
rest
of
our
tech
leads,
and
anyone
here
on
the
call
as
well.
That
wants
to
kind
of
chime
in
with
their
thoughts.
What
we'll
be
then
doing
is
re
kind
of
publishing
or
putting
out
a
new
PR
with
the
finalized
or
finalized
product
to
to
get
a
lazy
consensus
from
our
community
to
make
sure
that
everyone's
on
board
and
we're
all
fine
with
her
and
kicking
off
the
sub
project.
B
As
a
quick
reminder
to
folks
here,
what
a
sub
project
is
is
is
just
a
an
area
within
the
communities
project
that
has
a
specific
ownership
scope
so
that
decisions
can
be
made
so
that
efforts
can
be
kind
of
targeted
towards
a
certain
area
and
given
the
great
work
that
Brad
and
everyone
on
the
call
has
really
done
around
localizations
the
last
for
the
last.
B
While
we
wanted
to
put
together
some
formalized
recognition
of
that
work,
but
then
also
connection
to
larger
decisions
that
happen
in
the
sieg,
so
that
our
localization
groups
have
a
say
and
have
and
can
get
involved
in
a
lot
of
those
discussions
and
decisions
as
well.
So
that's
the
small
update,
really
Keen,
to
hear
feedback.
We
don't
have
a
huge
deadline
on
this,
but
I
would
love
to
kick
off
things
soon,
so
that
we
can
have
the
formalization
work
happening.
B
Lazy
consensus
from
our
community
takes
about
a
week
and
and
that'll
be
likely
happening
in
the
next
few
weeks.
Once
we've
gotten
feedback
from
folks
and
and
put
everything
in
from
our
tech
leads.
So
that's
a
quick
update
there
for
any
questions,
or
anyone
who
wants
to
ask
now
feel
free
to
go
ahead.
A
So
that's
outstanding,
it's
outstanding,
so
great
to
see
we're
ready
to
start
reviewing
I'll,
definitely
take
a
look
and
I,
definitely
like
how
you
how
you
frame
the
the
conversation
really
great
to
get
us
plugged
into
the
Greater
cncf
Community
and
and
get
the
work
to
be
more
visible.
So
thank
you
so
much
for
what
you're
doing
of.
B
Course,
thank
you.
Thank
you.
So
much
and
I
will
say
that
for
those
folks
who
don't
don't
get
to
do
any
feedback
now
in
the
current
stages,
all
fine
I'll
be
reposting
both
from
the
localization
Channel
Plus
in
the
agenda
for
next
time,
a
link
to
PR
that
we
end
up
putting
up
for
the
initial
round
of
feedback.
So
the
call
it
won't
be
won't
be
missed.
If
folksan
on
this
call
now
we'll
we'll
definitely
repost
that,
in
the
slack
as
well.
A
Okay,
great
great
update
any
questions.
A
All
right:
next,
we
have
Abby
Abby.
C
Hello,
everyone
thank
you
Natalie
for
that
awesome,
update,
I'm,
so
excited
to
have
that
kept
out
there
and
with
launching
the
official
project
of
the
localization
sub-project
group.
Actually,
Jim
angel
had
a
really
awesome
idea
to
do
a
Blog
on
the
kubernetes
blog,
and
that
will
be
you
know
featuring
about.
You
know
what
our
group
is
our
processes,
how
people
can
get
plugged
in
and
we're
also
hoping
to
get
a
message
from
our
localization
leads.
C
You
know
within
each
localization
to
have
a
little
bit
about
you
know,
maybe
a
little
introduction
or
a
little
piece
about
how
each
team
works
and
how
people
can
get
plugged
in
just
so
people
to
raise
awareness
for
the
different
localization
groups
and
you
know,
have
the
awesome
work
everyone
has
been
doing.
C
We
were
also
hoping
that
you
know
we'd
have
the
the
blog
written
in
English
with
pieces
from
each
localization
team
and
then,
if
people
are
able
to
translate
that
blog
to
their
the
blog,
you
know
within
their
localized
language.
That
would
be
awesome
as
well.
C
I'm
I'm,
probably
we'll
be
working
on
this
I,
don't
have
any
a
draft
or
a
way
to
contribute
right
now,
but
I'll
I'll,
keep
updating
folks
about
this
and
I
will
be
reaching
out
to
everyone
in
ways
that
they
can
contribute
if
they're
able
to
so.
Hopefully.
Hopefully,
people
are
interested
and
I'm
looking
forward
to
to
getting
that
together.
A
Yeah,
this
is
a
fantastic
idea,
and-
and
so
let
me
make
sure
I
just
understand
so
there
would
be
the
main
blog
and
then
you're,
maybe
just
trying
to
get
little
blurbs
from
the
different
localization
leads
where
they
could
basically
just
advertise
what
they
do
or
what
they
work
on
or
if
they
want
to
say,
hey,
we're
looking
for
volunteers
or
or
something
right
just
so
they
get
a
place
in
the
blog
to
sort
of
showcase.
A
What
they're
doing
in
that
space-
and
it
seems
like
potentially
you
know,
even
if
with
the
blog,
isn't
written
yet
you
you
could
go
ahead
and
you
know
start
reaching
out
and
saying:
hey
just
prepared
this
vlog's
going
to
come
out
soon
and
we'd
love
to
have
a
small
paragraph
from
from
you
and
and
then
and
then
maybe
you'll
start
collecting
those
and
it'll
it'll
help
you
get.
What
you
need
quicker
would
be
my
only
suggestion.
C
Yeah,
that's
exactly
right!
That's
exactly
what
we're
trying
to
do
and
I
I
need
to
be
reaching
out
to
folks,
because
I
want
to
make
sure
everyone
gets
to
get
a
chance
to
write
up
a
message
and
have
it
be
included.
We
probably
won't
publish
for
for
a
while.
So
it's
we
still
have
to
put
stuff
together.
So
there's
still
time
to
contribute.
A
So
we
have
that
so
you're
also
on
a
slack
thread.
The
agenda
for
slack.
C
C
Back
thread
that
happened
in
the
localization
Channel
I'm,
not
sure,
if
folks
here,
where
anyone
who's
attributed
to
that
thread.
So
people
have
more
information
about
it,
please
time
in,
but
it
was
about
having
within
localizations
that
sometimes
people
put
you
know,
in
parentheses
the
English
word
within
the
translations.
For
the
first
time
it
was
used.
I
think
it's
to
help
folks,
I'm
not
familiar
enough
with
this
thread.
C
So
I
thought
it
was
another
area
that
we
could
kind
of
standardize.
I
know,
I
Tim
had
talked
about
that
as
well.
Within
the
channel,
I
don't
have
other
than
to
raise
it
up
to
people's
awareness.
That's
something
we
might
need
to
work
on.
C
A
Yeah
I'm,
looking
at
the
thread
now
just
to
get
get
updated,
I
see
the
English
word
gets
appended
to
the
native
translation
of
kubernetes
object
names,
for
example,
here
yeah.
B
I
think
I
think
what
often
happens
is
the
the
English
word
gets
used,
often
when
they,
when
there's
a
script
of
a
certain
language
that
doesn't
use
a
Latin
script,
and
so
folks
need
to
folks
who
aren't
familiar
with
that
language
would
need
some
kind
of
let's
say
a
clue
as
to
what
that
may
be,
and
so
I
think,
and
that
only
actually
that
in
the
the
English
tag
of
what
that
language
is
actually
only
seems
to
happen
right
now
to
languages
that
don't
use
a
Latin
script,
so
I
think
I
I'm
a
big
fan
of
standardizing
so
that
there's
no
kind
of
a
discrepancy
or
B
differences
between
what
we
do
on
the
languages,
but
I'm.
B
Also
a
native
English
speaker
and
a
speaker,
another
language
that
isn't
in
the
kubernetes
dogs
right
now.
So
maybe
my
opinion
isn't
so
isn't
so
strong
here.
A
A
A
It
does
not
look
like
we
have
the
right
folks
on
the
call
today
we're
missing
a
lot
for
some
reason:
we're
missing
a
lot
of
our
normal
leads,
but
yeah,
that's
something
we
can
keep
track
of
and
we've
got
the
thread
and
you
know
I
can
reach
out
to
SoCo
and
and
see
if
SoCo
and
some
of
the
other
leads
are
willing
to
to
discuss
this
either
in
a
slack
Channel
or
at
one
of
our
meetings
and
see
if
there
is
an
easy
way
to
come
to
a
consensus,
very
good
topic.
C
Yeah
I
think
that
I
realized
adding
it
to
the
agenda
is
probably
not
the
best
way
to
get
make
sure
folks
who
know
the
most
about
the
information
we're
here
on
the
meeting
to
help
with
that.
So
doing
that
five
minutes
before
the
call
start
is
probably
not
the
best
way
to
get
get
folks
on
the
call
to
talk
about
it.
So
maybe
it's
something
we
can
bring
to
the
meeting
next
time.
C
A
A
All
of
these
you
know
every
Journey
starts
with
the
first
step
and
and
it's
great
to
take
the
first
step
so
yeah
we
can.
We
can
look
at
that
and
I
can
ping
some
of
the
folks
and
see
if
we
can
get
a
discussion
from
some
of
the
leads
and
and
see
if
we
can
get
them
to
to
come
to
an
interesting
conclusion,
yeah
very
cool
topic.
A
Well,
we
do
have
a
light
agenda
today.
So
as
a
the
the
agenda
is
open,
is
there
anything
else
that
folks
wanted
to
cover.
A
If
not
I'm
going
to
keep
working
on
trying
to
to
drive
the
work
item,
I
have
and
I'm
gonna
go
review.
The
cap
so
definitely
want
to
go.
Do
that
and
looking
forward
to
seeing
progress
on
the
blog?
So
all
goodness,
oh
absolute
goodness,
you
know
Ray,
you
want
to
add
anything
or
Ashish.
C
A
All
right
cool
all
right
well,
on
that
note,
I
have
the
distinct
pleasure
of
giving
everyone
45
minutes
back
and
that's
quite
a
gift,
because
I
know
we're
all
very
busy,
so
we'll
keep
pushing
on
all
these
items
and
we'll
talk
next
month.
All
right
thanks,
Brad
thanks.
