A
Welcome
everyone
to
the
June,
6,
2022
monthly
meeting
of
the
Sig
groups,
the
Sig
docs
localization
subgroup
meeting,
as
always
a
cncf
code
of
conduct
is,
does
apply
so
please,
let's
all
be
nice
to
each
other.
A
B
A
Okay,
this
is
Vicente,
did
I,
say
it
correctly:
okay,.
C
A
Yeah:
okay,
tell
us
about
yourself:
visante.
C
Well,
I'm
a
contributor
from
the
project
Falco
and
I
was
in
the
keep
coming
recently
and
some
friends
of
mine.
They
took
me
about
the
project
of
translation,
so
I'm
actually
not
sure
if
I'm
in
the
Ryan
meeting
but
I
wanted
to
see
what's
going
on
and
well
meet
some
folks
in
the
in
the
community.
So
that's
why
I
joined.
A
Today,
fantastic,
so
this
meeting
you
know,
Sig
docs
has
like
15
different
teams
that
work
on
localizations
translations
and-
and
you
know
so,
there's
a
Spanish
translation,
Hindu
translation,
Russian
polish
Ukrainian.
A
A
You
know
where
we
also
use
this
meeting
is
for
common
tooling.
So
there's
no
reason
for
each
localization
team
to
build
a
lot
of
them
need
very
similar
tools.
How
do
I
look
at
the
diffs
from
you
know,
previous
previous
previous
release.
How
do
I
know
it
to
keep
track
of
to
want
to
translate
what
are
the
best
best
best
approaches
to
doing
it?
A
This
meaning
we
get
everyone
together
and
and
we
we
can
share
best
tools
and
best
practices,
and
we
also
really
use
it
for
if,
if
there's
a
new,
you
know
typically,
who
will
come
as
a
group
of
folks
who
will
say
we
want
to
do
a
new
translation
and
then
so
we're
here
to
help
Point
them
in
the
right
direction.
You
know,
and
in
your
case
there
is
you,
know,
I
assume
you'd
want
to
work
on
the
Spanish
translation.
Is
that
correct
yeah?
A
So
you
know
you
know,
this
would
be
a
great
way
where
you
know
you
can
connect
with
me
on
slack
and
I'm
going
to
get
you
all
the
resources
the
Spanish
team
will
have
their
own
channel,
so
there'll
be
other
folks
that
you
can
talk
to
and
you'll
get
to
be
able
to
meet
the
leads
for
the
Spanish
translation
and
then
you'll.
You
know,
you'll
have
an
opportunity
to
contribute,
which
is
a
really
nice
way
to
contribute.
Is
you
know,
translation.
A
C
C
A
Yep-
and
you
know
it
was
amazing:
I
I,
I
love
telling
the
story.
I
can
tell
real
fast,
you
know,
I
missed
lunch
and
then
it's
Siesta
and
then
you
know
I'm
going
to
all
the
restaurants
and
I
speak
a
little
bit
of
Spanish
and
I'm
asking
nobody's
open
and
then
I
found
I
ran
into
some
other
folks
and
they
said
there's
this
little
supermarket
around
the
corner.
So
we
walked
to
this
little
Supermarket.
That
was
near
the
convention.
C
Know
where
that
one
was
I
get
like
one
or
two
bottles
per
week.
A
A
A
A
Okay,
reclaim
host
interesting.
So
anyway,
we
don't
have
a
lot
on
the
the
agenda
today.
I
mean
there
are
some
topics
that
I
don't
know.
If
Abby,
if
you
wanted
to
talk
about
or
I
can
bring
up,
I
know,
we've
discussed
a
lot
of
stuff
in
the
past
and
this
would
be
a
good
open
meeting
to
discuss
it
did
Abby
or
anyone
else
have
any
topics.
Otherwise,
I
do
have
a
few
topics
to
talk
about
I.
D
Just
have
one:
this
is
Ray
I'll,
send
a
language
name:
standardization
pull
request
from
Abby.
It
could
take
a
look
at
that
give
their
lttm.
If,
if
it's
correct
for
the
language,
then
we
could
get
it
approved,
so
I'll
put
the
link
in
the
in
the
chat
there.
Please.
A
Do
thank
you.
Is
this
the
one
where
we're
working
on
the
standard
that
you'd
have
the
the
Latin
language
and
then
maybe
the
the
native
script
of
the
of
the
language
exactly.
D
A
Fantastic-
and
you
know
a
huge
thanks
to
Abby
for
working
on
that
now.
Does
that
need
to
be
a
chair
that
I'll
have
to
go
look,
but
we
just
need
just
approve
our
approvers
or
do
we.
D
Need
yeah,
we
already
have
lgtns,
but
I
just
would
like
to
just
get
all
folks
who
to
just
to
get
their
eyes
and
they
could
give
given
all
GTM
as
well
I
mean,
ideally
we
would
get.
We
will
get
an
LG
TM
from
each
of
this
languages
or
each
of
those
teams
that
this
PR
ads.
B
E
So
this
you're
you're
suggesting
way
to
get
eyes
from
from
all
the
groups.
E
I
can
I
can
post
in
in
you
know
the
channels
and
see
if
I
can
get.
E
To
make
sure
everybody's
aware
that
this
change
is
happening
and
I
think
there
is
one
in-flight
language
that
we'll
need
to
make
this
correction
for
themselves
as
well.
So
yeah
sounds
great
good
suggestion.
A
And
I
I
would
recommend
lazy
consensus,
so
I
would
recommend
you
give
people
and
all
the
channels.
However,
you
give
them
a
week
or
whatever
the
amount
of
time
as
you
feel,
is
appropriate
and
then,
if,
if
they
don't
respond,
I
I
assume
we
go
with.
Silence
is
consent
on
this
and
lazy
consensus,
which
kind
of
brings
up
sort
of
the
the
second
topic
which
I
wanted
to
talk
about,
which
is
you
know,
Ray
and
Abby.
There
has
been
some.
A
It
may
be
time
to
sort
of
do
an
evaluation
of
how
the
different
languages
are
doing,
because
a
lot
of
the
teams
have
dropped
off
Ray
from
this
meeting-
and
you
know
at
the
very
least
you
know,
you've
demonstrated
what
we
do
need.
Ideally,
we
need
a
focal,
we
can
contact
for
each
language
and
we
need
to
make
sure
you
know
that
there
is
such
a
focal
and
they
have
a
heartbeat
and
they
exist.
A
So
when
these
types
of
things
happen
or
there's
other
issues,
we
feel
like
we've
got
a
contact
in
the
different
languages
and-
and
we
do
probably
need
to
do
a
an
audit
and
make
sure
that
you
know
are
there
any
languages
that
that
are
not
active,
and
you
know
what
do
we
do
right?
So
what
what
do
we
do
if,
if
the
language
is
not
active
anymore,
do
we
just
leave
it
and
it's
you
know,
because
eventually
the
translations
are
going
to
bit
rot.
A
D
I
think
I
think
it's
a
great
idea
for
us
to
reach
out
and
see
if
folks
are
still
participating,
also
see
what
the
we
could
do.
Things
like
take
a
look
at
what
the
last
recent
changes
were.
If
there
were
any
changes,
do
the
diff
between
the
English
sites
and
the
other
teams
see
if
there's
a
big
difference
or
if
there's
been
recent
updates.
So
there's
a
few
things,
we
could
take
a
look
at
on
that,
but.
A
C
A
Volunteers
for
anyone,
anyone
who
want
to
want
to
help
participate
in
that
that
would
give
you
know
any
folks,
an
opportunity.
You
know
if
they
want
to
be
more
involved
in
this
to
to
start
meeting
some
of
the
other
groups.
Are
there?
Are
there
any
ones
that
would
want
to
also
join
me
in
that
effort?
I
mean
I'll,
certainly
be
doing
it,
but
good
opportunity.
If
people
want
to
get
more
plugged
into
this
work
group,
it's
a
nice
work
item
naitish
pronounce
that
correctly.
Yes,
yes,.
C
A
Fantastic,
so
yeah
I
can
I
can
reach
out
to
you
and
we
can
figure
out
to.
A
Interested
in
this
initiative
wants
to
be
involved.
A
Well,
we
can
make
it
easy,
we
can
have
you
be
the
person
to
reach
out
for
French
how's
that
Rolf.
B
Okay,
yeah
and
and
just
give
me
a
list
of
the
items
that
you'd
like
me
to
report
back
on.
A
Yep
yep
I'll
make
it
real
easy.
What
list
of
what
can
be?
You
know
what
can
be
done
to
try
and
see.
What's
going
on
so
and
I,
you
know
as
as
I
get
the
volunteers
I'll
I'll
directly
slack
each
one
of
you,
the
you
know,
hey,
let's
step
a
step,
B
step,
C,
yeah,.
A
Okay,
so
we
got
Rolf
for
for
French,
which
is
wonderful
and
not
just
getting
any
particular
languages.
You
want
to
start
with.
First.
C
Said
it
can
be
anything
as
you
suggest.
A
Okay,
sure
sure
all
right
so
we'll
get
a
list.
Anyone
else
interested
in
in
helping
us
out
with
this.
Well,
let
me
know
otherwise
the
three
of
us
will
do
it.
A
E
I
just
wanted
to
chime
in
and
say
Brad
I
definitely
will
be
in
for
helping
with
that
I'm
trying
to
take
notes
in
the
the
docs.
Oh.
A
C
E
Now
so,
hopefully
I
am
capturing
people's
ideas.
He'll
also
feel
free
to
add
in
anything
there,
but
I
would
definitely
be
in
for
helping
you
on
this
initiative.
Brad
I
think.
A
It's
a
great
idea:
I
appreciate
it
Abby.
Thank
you
so
much
for
volunteering,
so
yeah
we'll
definitely
involve
you
and
could
use
your
help.
So
that'll
be
fantastic
okay,
so
we
have
that
and
then
I
have
a.
A
Let
me
make
sure
I
write
down
for
and
and
the
center
you're
gonna
slack
me
so
I
can
you'll
contact
me
on
slack
right.
So
I
can
get
you
what
you
need
to
get
started
and
get
you
all
the
contacts
you
need
correct,
yep,
I,.
C
A
Good,
so
those
were
all
my
main
topics
for
today.
Where
was
there
anything
else?
We
have
folks
on
anything
else
that
people
wanted
to
know
or
or
cover.
A
E
Nothing
other
than
getting
an
update
on
our
formalization
into
a
official
sub-project
correct
right
now
we're
functioning
as
a
subgroup,
but
pretty
much
acting
as
a
sub-project,
so
Ray
I'm
not
sure
if
you've
had
any
latest
on
that
I
haven't
reached
out
to
Natalie
about
it.
So
not
to
put
you
on
the
spot,
I'm
I'm,
not
sure
if
you
have
any
updates.
No.
A
Yeah,
that
would
probably
be
good
because
we
should
see
if,
if
there's
anything,
we
need
to
do
to
help
move
that
forward.
If
they're
waiting
on
a
review
or
anything.
A
So
you
know
good
action
item
there
would
be
to
check
with
with
Natalie
and
see
if
there's
anything
she
needs
from
us
to
be
able
to
move
forward,
because
it
would
be
nice
to
have
the
formalization,
and
you
know
the
other
thing
to
think
about
is
if
anybody
would
like
to
start
shadowing
or
being
in
the
role
of
of
sort
of
a
co-chair,
because
you
know
what,
if
I
get
hit
by
a
bus
right,
so
if
I
get
hit
by
a
bus,
not
good,
so
you
know
if
anybody
wants
to
sort
of
say.
A
Oh
I'd,
like
to
you
know,
start
learning
more
about
this.
With,
with
with
the
goal
of
you
know,
being
a
co-chair
I
think
redundancy
is
good,
I'm
an
old
distributed
systems
person,
so
you
know
I
certainly
believe
in
you
know
having
having
multiple,
multiple
resources
in
case
you
know,
something
happens
can't
make
anything.
So
you
know
this
is
my
formal
call.
A
If
anyone's
interested
would
like
to
learn
more
about
doing
it
and
like
to
you
know
start
filling
in
that
role
and
be
a
co-chair,
you
don't
have
to
say
publicly
or
you
just
slap
me
and
we'll
see
if,
if
anybody's
interested
in
learning
more
of
that,
it
would
be
good
to
have.
You
know
a
deeper
bench
Ray
if
that
makes
any
sense
right,
I,
don't
plan
to
get
hit
by
any
buses,
there's
not
a
lot
of
buses
in
Cary,
North
Carolina,
but
yeah.
You
never
know
right
so
so.
B
A
B
A
Okay,
fantastic,
so
you
know
we'll
take
you
know
we'll
start
looking
at
going
through.
You
know
how
that
works
and
and
learning
all
the
different
pieces.
So.
A
And-
and
you
know
we
could
have
you
know,
a
couple
of
these
you
know
so
whoever's
interested
is,
is
fine,
okay,
so
we
gotta
roll
from
that,
so
very
good,
so
we'll
start
putting
a
process
where
you
can
sort
of
learn
a
lot
more
about
it.
It's
it's
not
that
hard.
You
know.
E
A
A
A
Okay,
if
there's
not
any
other
topics
going
once
going
twice.
A
All
right,
we
will
have
a
short
meeting.
I'll
make
sure
these
action
items.
Hopefully
we've
got
them
all
captured
and
we'll
start
we'll
start
moving
forward
on
them
all
right.
Well,
thanks!
Everyone
for
attending
I
do
apologize
for
being
a
couple
minutes
late.
That's
that's
my
my
sincere
apologies
on
that,
but
good,
meeting,
good,
productive
meeting.
