From YouTube: K8s SIG Docs Meeting for 20200901
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right,
hello,
hello,
everyone
welcome
to
the
sigdoc's
weekly
meeting
today
is
september,
1st
2020,
and
this
is
a
kubernetes
meeting.
So
we
adhere
to
the
kubernetes
code
of
conduct,
which
simplifies
to
please
be
excellent
to
one
another.
A
I
have
posted
the
meeting
agenda
in
the
chat
and
for
those
of
you
just
joining
us,
we
zach
is
out
sick
this
week.
Wish
him
well
hope
that
he
gets
better
and
jim
is
at
a
some
meeting
engagements
as
well,
so
I'd
love
to
go
through
and
follow
the
agenda.
B
Hi,
william
I've
been
active
in
various
discussions
online
concerning
the
all-important
issue
of
capitalization,
and
I'm
just
here
to
lurk.
Basically,
so
I'm
gonna
piss
off
now
and
disappear
thanks.
A
Awesome
any
other
people
want
to
say,
hola,
hello,
hi.
A
Howdy
all
right,
trekking
right
along.
Let's
get
into
updates
and
reminders.
This
week's
pr
wrangler
is
celeste.
Thank
you
very
much
for
thank
you
for
your
service.
A
Next
week,
I'm
going
to
be
heading
that
up
and
pr
wrangling
myself,
you
know,
119
was
not
enough
had
to
get
right
back
in
the
action
very
excited
about
that
for
all
approvers.
Please
take
a
look
at
the
pr
wrangler
shifts
and
take
a
look
at
the
agenda
there.
We
got
everything
I
talked
with
jim
before
this
meeting.
We've
got
everything
updated,
so
we
should
have
a
good
idea
on
what
what
everybody's
shift
looks
like
coming
up
all
right.
A
So,
let's
get
into
the
heart
of
the
agenda:
release
119
release
or
120
updates.
Any
news
on
that
front.
C
Seven
not
here
today,
but
she
is
doing
the
like
a
cleanup
step
of
119
and
getting
ready
for
120
and
as
for
120,
the
shadow
application
opened
up
yesterday,
so
we're
waiting
for
that
and
the
timeline
is
actually
available
now
and
unfortunately
for
dogs,
it's
actually
in
between
thanksgiving
all
our
like
big
deadlines.
C
So
I
did
want
to
point
that
out
and
let
the
dog's
team
know
about
that
and
there's
actually
a
ku
khan
right
before
as
well.
So
there's
kukan
and
after
kukan
and
there's
thanksgiving,
so
it's
going
to
be
a
very
exciting
release.
I
can
already
feel
it.
A
Absolutely
I
know
that
yeah
I've
talked
to
a
few
people
and
they've
taken
a
look
at
120
in
the
timelines
and
said
like
oh
we've
got
plenty
of
time.
However,
like
you
said
lots
of
lots
of
holidays,
cube
cons
and
other
things
that
are
coming
up
in
that
front.
C
Oh
and
one
more
so
there's
a
discussion
of
whether
the
docs
leads
should
have
access
to
nullify.
So
there's
a
discussion
going
on
in
slack.
So
if
you
have
any
opinions
or
any
advice
like
any
input,
would
be
very
appreciated
as
well.
C
D
A
A
All
right,
moving
on
into
the
blog
section,
I
don't
see
caitlyn
or
bob
on
the
line.
We
do
have
a
blog
subproject
meeting
after
this
meeting
at
11
20
pacific
time
and
we're
going
to
be
discussing
some
things
there.
I
think
I
don't
see
anything.
That's
urgent
on
that
front
other
than
just
some
of
the
119
feature
blogs,
but
we'll
definitely
take
a
look
there,
but
yeah.
It
seems
like
business
as
usual.
There.
A
All
right
issues
and
poor
quests,
so
this
one
is
at
the
top
of
my
list.
I
talked
a
little
bit
with
zach
about
this
one,
the
client,
libraries
discussion,
so
I'm
I
can
grab
this
url
and
throw
this
in
the
chat
for
anyone
that
wants
to
follow
along
with
this.
So
with
this
pr,
there
was
discussion
many
many
moons
ago
on
removing
the
third
party
support
for
different
libraries
that
integrate
with
kubernetes.
A
We
had
talked
about
potentially
removing
them
just
because
there
wasn't
any
support
across
the
community.
You
know
that
being
the
hypothesis
we've
gotten
feedback
on
that
and
we're
going
to
be
adjusting
accordingly
on
that
front
right
now,
waiting
on
the
third
party
pull
request
in
the
notes
to
go
through
and
get
pushed
through.
At
that
point
in
time,
we're
actually
just
going
to
put
a
warning
and
say:
hey,
we
don't
you
know
these
are
available
for
you
to
use.
You
know
it's
these.
These
are
community
projects.
A
Here
there
be
dragons
type
of
warning,
and
then
you
know
just
to
let
people
know
that
it's
not
only
the
sig
supported
code
or
things
that
we
can
actually
support
within
the
community.
Otherwise,
it's
kind
of
use
that
is
at
your
own
risk
and
just
be
aware
of
the
teams
that
are
managing
those.
I
still
so
I
have
to
add
in
that
warning
and
rebase
that
pull
request
before
it
goes
through,
but
I'm
just
waiting
on
that
one
dependent
pull
request,
but
any
questions
on
that
phone.
E
Hi,
so
that
dependent
pull
request
is
very
slowly
like
inching
its
way
towards
approval.
That's
the
first
thing
I
was
gonna
say.
Second
thing
is:
if
we're
keeping
we're
keeping
the
list,
do
you
want
me
to
just
add
the
warning
in
my
pr
and
close
yours?
Would
that
be
fast.
E
Okay,
I'll
do
that
I'll
wrap
it
up.
In
my
pr,
then
cool.
F
E
F
A
All
right,
that's
all
updated.
Moving
on
to
zack
and
jim,
better
cka
experience.
I
have
not
taken
a
look
at
this
pull
request,
but
I'm
going
to
drop
this
here
in
the
chat
for
everybody
to
take
a
look
at
if
you
want
to
follow
along
load
this
up
here
in
my
browser,
and
actually
you
know
what
let
me
share
my
screen.
A
A
A
Okay,
so
as
a
four
days
ago,
it
looks
like
this
documentation.
The
documentation
change
might
not
be
required,
so
it
looks
like
this
might
get
closed
out,
but
if
anyone
has
any
more
commentary
that
they
want
to
add
to
this
by
all
means,
please
speak
now
or
forever
hold
your
piece,
or
at
least
until
after
the
meeting.
G
No
comments,
I
mean
one
comment
just
as
long
as
we
get
confirmation
from
the
ck
test,
people
that's
or
how
they're
going
to
resolve
this.
I
think
I
saw
tim's
comment
about
it
might
possibly,
or
he
hinted
that
it
might
be
in
the
question
prompt.
That's
what
we
talked
about
in
the
past
to
have
that
one
one
liner,
but
just
as
long
as
we
have
confirmation,
that's
in
there
cool
awesome.
A
All
right,
I
would
turn
it
over
to
zach,
but
again
I
hope
that
he's
feeling
better
google
season
of
docs.
I
I'd
assume
that
that
means
google
season
of
docs
is
quickly
approaching.
Anyone
have
anything
that
they
want
to
remark
on
on
that
front.
E
Google
season
with
docs
is
here
as
far
as
I
know,
I'm
pretty
sure
that's
the
update
and
I
imagine
that
lots
of
zach's
time
in
the
coming
weeks
will
be
taken
up
wrangling
new
you
contributors
in
that
regards.
A
Cool
I
swear.
I
keep
forgetting
that
it's
september
already
and
that
august
is,
is
long
gone,
but
so
sad
harley
hardly
knew
august.
A
D
A
A
A
Let's
go
back
to
the
website
and
go
to
wiki.
If
you
don't
have
push
access
to,
let's
say
pr
anglers
if
you
don't
push
access
to
this
page
you're,
not
able
to
update
it
as
it
stands
right
now.
I
wanted
to
add
this
earlier,
but
was
unable
to
I
talked
with
jim
about
you
know
either
getting
push
access
or
he
suggested
you
know
we
could
remove
this
one.
A
H
So
this
is
right.
I
I
typically
manage
that
page
and
I
wasn't
aware
that
you
wanted
to
make
a
change,
but
if
somebody
tells
me
I'm
happy
to
make
the
change
if
that's
good
enough
for
you,
I
I
think
there's
a
little
concern
of
somebody
going
in
and
you
know
really
wiping
all
kinds
of
things
out,
but
but
I'm
usually
pretty
responsive
for
something
like
that.
H
Slack
is
great
and
like
I
don't
have
to
submit
a
pr
just
edit
the
page.
So
in
fact
I
don't
know
if
there's
a
place
to
put
my
cell
phone,
you
can
even
have
I'd
even
take
text.
Hey
wake
up.
Take
the
page.
A
H
If
you're,
okay,
I
I'm
happy
to
be
responsive
and
keep
managing
that
to
save
other
people's
heartache.
A
Absolutely
I
think
that
sounds
good.
Does
anyone
have
any
other
thoughts,
opinions.
G
A
A
A
All
right
irving,
I'd
like
to
turn
it
over
to
you
for
these
two
items.
If
you
want
to
go
through
those.
D
Okay,
so
basically
for
the
last
coupon,
I
have
several
questions
about
why
the
sick
dogs
doesn't
have
any
stations
in
the
mountain
or
tracks.
So
I
was
wondering
if
we
will
have
such
an
event
in
the
corner.
North
america.
Do
you
know
about
that.
A
H
H
I
I
think
what
has
to
happen
is
a
small
group
of
us
need
to
be
willing
to
say,
hey.
We
will
step
up
and
put
together
some
materials
and
then
decide
what
we
want
to
do,
whether
it's
just
an
outreach.
You
know
we've
done
outreach
where
we've
we've
given
presentations
on
intro
to
docs
and
here's
how
we
do
it
like
for
the
new
contributor
work
group
workshop
and
then
we've
also
and
then
here's
the
question.
It
really
worked.
H
Well,
when
we
were
in
person
which
was
you
know,
we
would
do
a
like
a
like
a
like
a
doc
sprint
right,
we'd
do
something
where
we'd
give
an
opportunity
to
do
hands-on
training
for
people
typically
teach
them
how
to
submit
their
first
pr,
in
addition
to
teaching
them
about
how
to
do
docs
prs
for
docs.
H
So
I
think
the
question
is:
how
much
do
we
think
we
can
do
for
a
virtual
conference
and
be
effective
and
who's
willing
to
to
contribute?
I,
I
would
personally
be
happy
to
to
help
contribute.
I
love
doing
those
sessions
in
the
outreach.
It's
lots
of
fun,
so
I
think
the
first
is.
D
So
actually,
I
have
another
concern
regarding
the
time
zone
difference
you
know
like
when
we
are
doing
a
virtual
events,
it's
kind
of
difficult
to
make
sure
that
everyone
is
in
the
same
time,
zone
right,
yeah,.
H
Yes,
I
I
think,
that's
a
great
point
and
that's
probably
one
of
the
reasons
why
we
kind
of
let
it
go
for
a
little
bit.
H
I
actually
do
this
type
of
training
at
my
company
and
you
know
we're
starting
to
do
more
virtual
training,
as
opposed
to
you
know
the
good
old
days
when
I
get
to
travel
all
over
the
world
and
have
fun,
but
one
technique
that
we
found
effective
is
let's
say
you
want
to
do
like
a
three
hour
session,
there's
a
combination
of
record
the
sessions
ahead
of
time
and
make
them
available.
H
So
if
people
have
to
show
in
and
out
at
different
times
like
you
know,
when
we
do
a
virtual
all-day
training,
I
can't
expect
somebody
to
be
there
all
day,
they're
going
to
miss
some
parts.
But
if
we
pre-recorded
parts
they
can
try
and
catch
up
by
going
and
see
the
pre-recorded
stuff.
But
then,
at
the
same
time
we
do
the
live
sessions
to
help
get
the
interactivity
and
be
able
to
answer
the
questions,
and
so
there's
there's
maybe
a
potential
of
us.
H
Maybe
I
don't
know
I
just
I
use
zoom
but
pre-recording
some
sessions
and
then
at
the
same
time,
combining
it
with
some
live
sessions
and
some
interactivity.
It
would
probably
be
a
topic
that
a
few
of
us
that
are
interested
should
kind
of
put
together
and
say:
okay.
Well,
how
much?
How
much
time
do
we
think
we
need
and
how
much
time
do
we
want
to
present?
B
E
So
it
comes
to
mind
as
like
a
question
is
the
effectiveness
of
doing
something
like
your
first
pr,
not
in
person,
because
I
think
yeah
yeah
in
person,
it's
you
can
float
around
the
room.
You
can
help
people
out,
but
you
really
can't
do
that
digitally.
It's
so.
E
That
I
am
focusing
on
for
cncf,
but
more,
but
very
specifically,
for
kubernetes
type
purposes
in
the
next
little
chunk
of
time.
Moving
forward
is
how
we
kind
of
get
more
technical
writers
involved
in
open
source,
and
something
that
I
was
thinking
of
doing
and
mentioned
last
week,
and
I
haven't
put
together
doodle
yet
is
doing
kind
of
like
intro
to
writing
type
sessions,
and
this
is
how
you
write
good
documentation.
E
This
is
how
you
edit
documentation.
This
is
how
you
like,
because
that's
knowledge
that
lives
within
me
and
zach,
because
we're
career
writers,
but
it's
not
necessarily
knowledge
that
lives
within
the
rest
of
you
guys,
because
you
are,
for
the
most
part,
sres
and
developers
by
by
trade.
So
I
wonder
if
maybe
that's
the
route
to
go.
If
we
go
do
something
for
kubecon
north
america
is
like
this
is.
This
is
how
you
write.
E
H
So
I
I
completely
agree
and
I'd
love,
even
if
we
weren't
remote,
I
think
that's
something
that
when
we
get
to
what
a
blessing
not
be
remote,
I
think
we
should
still
add
that
in
even
when
we're
not
remote
celeste,
I
think
that's
just
fantastic.
There's
that
wonderful
tribal
knowledge
that
you
and
zach
have
that.
So
many
of
us
do
not,
and
so
I
think
that
should
be
a
staple
of
every
conference
to
be
perfectly
honest,
but
whatever.
H
So
I'd
love
to
see
that
and
then
I
still
would
love
to
see
an
introduction
to
coob
docs
and
how
here's
all
the
things
we
have
and
and
and
it's
not
the
level
of
hands-on
helping
your
pr
but
a
lot
of
people
we
could
probably
if
we
show
them.
Oh
here's
how
the
docs
are
structured.
Here's
where
this
is
laid
out.
Here's
here's!
Here's
where
you
can
do
some
easy!
Here's
where
you
can
go,
find
low
fruit,
easy
first
prs,
maybe
some
techniques
to
get
a
mentor.
My
guess
is.
H
E
A
grand
tour
of
the
kubernetes
docks
like
world
and
then
maybe
a
grand
tour
of
like
the
quick
and
dirty
here's
how
to
write
good
documentation
or
how
to
approach
writing
documentation
like
a
documentarian.
B
H
It
does
sound
fun,
so
I
think
the
first
step
would
be
for
us
to
identify
who's
in
who
wants
to
participate.
I'm
in
I
would,
and
it
sounds
like
celeste-
is
in
and
and
and
and
you
as
well
right
over
so
so
there's
at
least
three
of
us
that
we
ought
to
put
some
names
down,
so
we
can't
back
out
and
and
then
we
ought
to
start.
You
know,
as
we
get
a
little
closer
start
start
trying
to
hash
out
at
least
what
each
of
the
topics
we'd
like
to
present.
H
And
you
put,
others
are
welcome,
usually
usually
zach
or
other
folks
like
to
participate
as
well,
but
but
hey.
If
we
got
three,
we
got
enough.
So
other
folks
are
welcome.
H
And,
like
I
said,
I
know
it
at
other
conferences:
I've
done
the
sort
of
I've
I've
had
a
nice
deck.
I
think
I've
sent
it
to
other
folks
here
right,
maybe
maybe
ann
I
can't
remember
who,
but
on
on
the
sort
of
overview
of
docs.
So
I
can
refresh
that
it's
pretty
old
now
a
little
bit,
but
I'm
sure
we
can
pull
some
cool
content
together.
A
Awesome
any
other
comments
on
that
front.
That'll
be.
H
Exciting
so
we
probably
have
an
action
on
that
we
probably
have
to
get
on
go
talk
to
the
little
program
committee
and
say
hey.
We
want
to
do
what
we
did
before
you
want
to
give
that
to
zach,
or
is
that
you,
taylor
or
who's
who's
best
connected
these
days.
A
I
would
say:
I'd
love,
hey.
I
love
delegating
things
away,
I
would
say
either
I
can.
We
can
raise
it
up
to
zach.
B
F
A
A
Awesome
I'd
love
to
turn
it
over
to
you
irvy
yet
again,.
D
So
basically
I
this
is
included
in
the
this
quarter
goes
right
and
I'm
really
confused
on
how
how
how
is
the
better
way
to
integrate
this
github
actions
to
the
pr
dashboard,
because
I
think
the
ui
is
not
really
friendly,
but
on
the
other
side
I
don't
think
probably
support
this
github
actions
showing
the
result
of
the
link
checking
to
to
the
vr
dashboard.
So
maybe
any
any
suggestions
will
will
help,
because
steam
is
already
mentioned,
that
it's
also
not
possible
and
been
all.
A
I
can
I
could
help
take
a
look
at
this
one
now.
My
apologies
in
terms
of
you
know
not
not
being
too
helpful
before,
but
with
with
119
I'll
short
up.
I
should
be
able
to
take
a
look
at
this
and
help
a
little
bit
more.
I
think
that
we
can
probably
I
know
there
are
a
few
teams
that
had
reached
back
and
that
you
know
a
couple
couple.
Other
people
owed
responses
on
these
issues.
A
Last
time
I
looked
through
them
as
well,
but
yeah
I
can
help
you
out
and
then
we
can
kind
of
work
in
public
on
on
on
these
items,
in
the
sig
doc's
slack
channel
and
on
on
these
github
issues.
If
that'd
be
helpful,
I
can
add
that,
as
an
action
item.
A
Awesome
any
other
items
that
anyone
wants
to
address
kind
of
moving
into
open
discussion.
H
Just
one
quick
one
taylor,
I
am
planning
to
try
and
start
kicking
off
we're
gonna
have
like
a
subgroup
for
for
helping
to
to
get
the
best
tribal
knowledge
for
localization,
and
I
did
say
I
was
going
to
kick
that
off
after
kubecon
when
things
calmed
down,
which
is
pretty
much
now,
so
I
am
going
to
start
reaching
out
across
all
the
the
channels
and
see
who's
interested
and
and
try
and
get
them
moving.
H
If
anybody
has
good
suggestions
for
me
on
on
how
to
move
forward
that
I
I
would
love
to
hear,
but
I
am
going
to
at
least
start
reaching
out,
see
who's
interested
and
try
and
figure
out
if
they
want
to.
You
know
meet
once
a
month
or
just
do
it
by
slack
and
see
how
much
you
know
how
many
folks,
across
the
the
localization
teams
are
interested,
but
but
there's
a
lot
of
people.
H
A
All
right!
Well,
in
that
case,
I
give
you
your
time
back.
Thank
you
so
much
for
joining
us
today,
and
I
wish
you
all
a
very
happy
tuesday
I'll
talk
with
you
all
later.
