A
All
right
today
is
October,
24,
2000
and
19.
This
is
the
meeting
of
the
kubernetes
storage
special
interest
group.
As
a
reminder,
this
meeting
is
public
recorded
and
posted
on
YouTube.
So
today,
on
the
agenda,
we
have
a
queue
for
planning
session.
We're
gonna
go
over
the
items
that
we've
committed
to
for
the
1.17
release
and
get
status
updates
from
folks.
The
important
dates
to
remember
here
are
we
just
had
enhancement,
freeze,
meaning
any
features
that
we
are
going
to
have
in
117
need
to
be
officially
declared
and
have
their
caps
merge.
A
That
date
was
October
15
upcoming
next
deadline
is
the
code
freeze
for
having
features
in
by,
and
that
is
November
14,
that's
a
little
less
than
three
weeks
away.
If
you
have
any
PRS
that
need
attention
or
design
reviews,
please
feel
free
to
add
to
the
agenda
or,
if
there's
anything
else,
that
you
want
to
talk
about,
feel
free
to
add
it
below
as
well.
The
link
to
the
agenda
Docs
should
be
in
the
calendar,
invite
so
let's
go
ahead
and
jump
into
the
planning
spreadsheet
and
go
through
items
quickly
before
we
do
that.
A
B
Basically,
the
pr
is
looking
pretty
good
at
this
point,
waiting
for
some
final
reviews,
other
than
that
fabio
just
submitted
a
PR
to
convert
the
zones
that
we
used
to
have
the
zone
tags
to
use
the
migration
framework
and
the
translation
library
to
move
from
zones
to
using
topology
yeah.
That
apology
filled
with
in
the
volumes
and
other
than
that.
The
cops
work
is
in
progress
for
EBS
and
overall,
the
feature
is
on
track
for
beta.
A
A
A
A
C
Yeah
I
pinged
him
last
time
and
I
think
he
maybe
got
some
discussion
going
on
a
PR
I
think
he's
actually
waiting
for
some
feedback.
I
can
follow
up
afterwards
with
the
P.
Our.
A
B
So
this
again
making
good
progress.
The
code
generation
stuff
is
all
in
at
this
point.
This
is
the
code
generation
was
meant
to
kind
of
follow
the
kubernetes
model
for
different
for
supporting
different
portions
of
the
EPS
and
the
actual
file
system
and
the
disk
api's
are
you
know
going
in
he'd,
be
in
by
the
next
week
and
other
than
that.
B
A
D
So
the
API
going
to
beta
P
are
I.
Think
it's
in
good
shape,
it's
being
reviewed
many
times
now,
I
think
Sean
just
updated
again.
So
hopefully
we're
good
to
go
and
the
split
controller
works
so
I'm
working
on
that
one
and
also
the
and
also
enabling
the
future
gate
and
what,
if
I,
initiate
retest
so
yeah
a
PR
for
that
Nisha
has
been
reviewing
so
that
at
least
past
other
tests
and
and
grant
is
working
on
adding
the
deployment
script
for
1.17
for
the
snapshot
in
the
CSI
driver
repo.
D
A
A
A
E
A
E
A
E
So
entry
block
volume
looks
promising,
we
have
fixed
the
engine
test
and
many
for
reconstruction
and
we
fixed
reconstruction
of
local
problems.
There
is
a
PR
in
file
and
there
are
some
some
minor
issues
still
waiting
to
be
resolved,
but
I'm
optimistic.
This
could
be
done
in
this
release
for
CSI
entry
robot.
This
is
more
complicated.
There
is
huge
refactoring
of
note
stage
and
no
publish
in
work
case,
and
also
we
miss
since
I
sent
him
four
volumes.
A
E
A
All
right
cool
for
all
your
hard
work
on
this,
and
hopefully
we
can
get
it
to
GA
soon,
but
we
want
to
get
it
with
a
high
quality
bar,
so
it
makes
sense
to
wait.
I'm
gonna
go
ahead
and
update
this.
To
beta,
can
one
of
you
go
and
update
the
enhancement
feature
to
let
the
release
team
know
that
it's
gonna
remain
in
beta
cool?
A
G
Sure
we've
been
discussing
it
internally
and
we
don't
have
anything
to
really
show
before
it
right
now,
but
we
do
want
to
talk
about
it.
The
face-to-face
and
we'll
have
you
know
a
couple
different,
a
couple,
different
strategies
that
we've
looked
at
and
then
we
you
know
we
try
to
pick
one
and
go
with
it.
Waiting
for
that
for
the
face
to
face
sounds.
A
B
A
A
A
Okay,
that's
good
news.
I
just
haven't
seen
anything
so
I
think
we
just
need
to
get
synced
up,
often
again.
Okay,
all
right!
Cool
next
item
is
CSI.
Spec
changes,
block
volume,
expansion,
support,
verify
volume
attach
support,
so
this
went
out
and
CSI
1.2
came
out
yesterday,
so
this
can
be
marked
as
complete.
A
Believe
so
David
sue
I,
don't
know
if
he's
on
the
line
is
working
on
adding
support,
at
least
for
the
some
of
the
features
that
are
in
1.2
related.
You
verify
volume
attached
for
the
expand
volume
support.
We
need
to
sync
up
with
her
month
or
maybe
been.
You
know
what
the
plans
are
for
which
one
for
the
resizing
support
for
1.2.
So
we
had
one
point
to
cut:
are
the
plans
to
get
the
new
features
for
resizing
into
170.
C
H
H
I
personally
wasn't
going
to
do
that.
I
guess
if
no
one
else
has
signed
up,
maybe
I
could
I
don't
know.
I
guess
I
had
figured
that
homonymous
was
gonna
cover
that
with
his
change
got
it
I
mean
we
can.
We
can
sync
up
with
a
month
offline
and
figure
out
yeah,
it's
not
a
big
change.
It's
just
someone
needs
to
own
it
and
drive
it.
A
C
A
A
A
A
D
D
D
A
A
D
D
D
Yeah,
that's
why
so
he
was
asking
because
he
was
and
instead
in
sick
apps,
they
normally
don't
track
out
of
three
features
with
the
kubernetes
release.
So
he
said
we
need
to
ask
for
exception.
So
I
said
well,
that's
up
to
him
since
they're
not
doing
it,
maybe
something!
Also
it's
a
little
late.
So
yes,
but
he
said
he's
going
to
work
on
that
soon.
Okay,.
G
D
Actually,
some
ping
miss
Marri,
saying
there
was
no,
no
there's
no
update
in
that
execution.
Hooker
repo
I
think
Nikita,
whether
it
is
asking
whether
anyone's
doing
us.
So
it's
okay.
Let
me
just
basically
submitted
this
working
progress
TR
there
so
that
you
know
he's
going
to
work
on
it
and
none
said
he
he's
very
interested.
Okay.
A
A
Moving
on
I,
don't
see
any
PRS
that
need
to
be
discussed
or
designs
that
need
to
be
discussed.
So
moving
on
to
miscellaneous
items,
we're
going
to
have
a
face-to-face
meeting
at
cube,
con
North
America
in
San
Diego,
which
is
going
to
happen
on
November
18th,
we'll
have
a
room
for
the
full
day,
9
a.m.
to
5
p.m.
at
the
hotel
right
next
to
the
conference
center
in
order
to
register.
Please
click
on
this
link
and
follow
the
registration
steps
you
do
need
to
be
registered
for
the
conference
in
order
to
attend.
A
A
A
A
I
think
that
seems
reasonable
to
me,
considering
how
many
people
are
going
to
be
attending
the
face-to-face
I
mean.
Would
it
make
sense
to
shift
it
a
week
or
is
that
dismiss
with
the
whole
cadence
we've
done
that
in
the
past,
but
considering
that
we're
going
to
be
all
meeting
for
the
face
to
face
that
week
anyway,
I
think
I
would
be
comfortable
just
dropping
it.
