A
Hello
folks
welcome
to
the
August
1st
Sig
Windows
community
meeting.
This
meeting
is
recorded
and
uploaded
to
YouTube.
So
please
adhere
to
the
cncf
code
of
conduct,
which
translates
to
being
kind
and
nice
to
everyone
all
right.
So
let's
kick
this
meeting
off.
Let's
see
so
August,
first
announcements,
I,
don't
have
any
announcements
James
stew.
Maybe
we
should
announce
that
the
cut
over
has
happened
to
the
new
master
or
has
that
not
happened?
Yet?
Yes,.
B
They
cut
the
128
branch
and
we
have
our
tests
up
and
running
and
this
time,
when
it
forked
over
it
forked
over
to
the
right
version.
So
that
was
we
just
checked
that
in
our
previous
meeting
for
the
opposite,
Windows
triage
meeting
that
we
run
right
before
this
meeting
awesome
and
it's
green
all.
A
A
C
I
I
have
something
okay,
so
so,
just
to
summarize,
like
next
time,
I'll
just
remember
to
put
it
on
the
agenda.
There
is
a
channel
discussion
going
on
in
this
week.
I
just
sent
a
link
and
I
see
windows.
We
haven't
posted
an
updates,
so
I
was
hoping
if
we
can
just
discuss,
having
an
update
since,
like
if
I'm
happy
for
anyone
to
take
it
up.
C
I'm
just
doing
some
research
around
that
I'm,
just
figuring
out
what's
new
in
128
and
my
10-hour
contribution
would
help
for
that
and
I
can
I'm
also
willing
to
to
group
up
a
draft
and
have
everyone
review
it
as
well.
A
So,
what's
going
on
here,
usually
Mark
posts,
something
and
I
guess
we
haven't
done
so
this
year.
C
B
B
Yeah,
we
usually
have
at
least
one
thing
in
there
that
we
try
to
try
to
add
I
would
I
would
say
we
could
go
over.
What
were
the
the
major
things
we
were
tracking
in
the
previous
meetings
and
probably
mentioned
that
one
of
those
things
so
I
think.
A
I'm
trying
to
not
think
when
did
the
note
block
stuff
happen,
so
the
node,
lock
stuff
we've
already
announced
right.
We
don't
need
to
do
that
again
right,
that's
right,
yeah!
So
what
about
the
work
you
were
doing
James
on
the
with
the
stats
is
that
let
me
see
foreign.
A
B
What
I
was
going
to
say
was:
maybe
the
CRI
stats
and
monsie
is
the
one
that
did
that
word.
Okay,
so
that's!
Okay,
that's
probably
the
biggest
thing
that
we
we
move
forward,
but
I
don't
know.
If
that
went
beta
there
was
a
cap
update
to
move
it
to
Beta,
but
I.
Don't
think
it
actually
moved
to
Beta
in
128.,
okay,
because
that
is
a
something
we've
been
working
on
for
a
couple
of
releases.
So.
B
A
I,
don't
think
this
is,
is
this
announcement?
Worthy
is.
B
A
B
Yeah,
it's
not
being
used
anywhere;
okay,
all
right,
so
we
basically
closed
it.
Oh,
oh,
no!
There's,
there's
a
bottom!
There's
a
PR!
That's
linked
at
the
bottom
that
merged
yeah
that
that
one
it's
in
there,
but
it's
not
a
major
announcement
or
anything
I.
Don't
think!
Okay,
all
right
yeah!
It's
eventually
we're
going
to
get
there
I
think,
but.
A
So
it
looks
like
the
major
announcements:
is
the
CI?
Only
stats,
don't
see
anything
else,
yeah.
B
Yeah,
the
one
other
thing
that's
being
worked
on
right
now,
I
think
I
think
there's
quite
a
few
people
looking
into
it
is
the
the
operational
Readiness,
but
I
don't
think
there
is
enough
movement
in
128
to
call
it
as
a
big.
E
D
A
All
right
so
I
can
throw
in
something
or
is
it
too
late
to
add
more
I,
see
people
adding
so
I'll,
take
an
action
and
add
a
line
item
for
Windows.
D
I
don't
know
if
we
need
to
I,
don't
know
if
it's
worth
announcing,
because
it's
not
new,
but
the
windows
service
proxy
now
is
like
functional
as
its
own,
repo
and
and
so
on.
But
we
haven't
done
a
formal
demo
of
that.
Yet
so.
A
Oh
sorry,
slow
down.
A
A
But
I
can
add
the
the
two
once
we
get
off
this
call
I
don't
want
to
wait
people's
time
with
me,
so
Windows
service
proxy
right.
That's
what
we're
gonna
announcement.
D
D
Proxy
and
I
think
the
thing
is
that's
kind
of
interesting
about
it.
That's
worth
mentioning
is
that
it
kind
of
gives
us
a
way
to
tell
people
how
to
how
to
extend
the
kubefroxy.
D
D
You
know,
I,
don't
know,
but
again,
all
this
stuff
is
experimental.
So
that's
why
I
don't
don't
be
too
heavy-handed
with
the
announcement?
Just
let
people
know
it's
it's
it's.
You
know
we're
in
the
lab.
A
C
Prs
as
well,
maybe
we
might
want
to
include
those
and
yeah
I
appreciate
that
thanks
a
lot
yeah.
A
We
don't
include
include
every
PR
that
okay,
we
merged,
we
just
really
the
major
stuff
yeah
they're,
just
the
major
highlight,
is
what
we
throw
out
there.
A
Yeah.
Thank
you
thanks
for
bringing
that
up.
This
is
something
that
I
think
dropped
out
of
both
my
View
and
marks
and
all
the
other
leads.
So
thanks
for
bringing
that
up.
A
D
I
could
show
you
really
quickly
Our
rough
shot,
attempt
at
getting
a
whole
bunch
of
Windows
networking
stuff
in
a
read
the
doc
site.
If
we
before
we
do
that,
if
that's
okay,
yeah.
A
D
D
Yeah
here
it
is
yeah,
so
me
and
Damon
kind
of
hacked
this
together
this
this
in
the
last
week
or
two
just
as
a
starting
point,
with
the
sort
of
goal
being
like
not
having
really
clear
docs
but
having
really
technical
docs
that
are
for
people
that
are
actually
trying
to
get
work
done,
that
kind
of
know
what
they're
doing
right
and
so
I.
D
You
know
this
is
really
rough
like
it's
got
like
I'm,
slinging,
stuff
around
and
putting
stuff
into
tables
and
stuff
and
getting
chat
GPT
to
help
me
correct
grammar
and
like
put
make
like
combine
Concepts
together
that
I
haven't
combined
before,
but
it's
like
a
first
attempt
at
this
and
having
just
all
the
low
level
stuff,
that's
easy
to
that's
hard
to
remember
kind
of
in
one
place:
I,
don't
know
what
to
do
with
it.
D
I
don't
know
where
how
this
will
evolve
over
time,
but
if
people
are
looking
for
like
low
level,
Windows,
networking,
understanding,
stuff
and
there's
stuff,
that's
not
here
or
that's
missing,
just
feel
free
to
go
to
the
I'll,
see
the
GitHub.
Let's
see
here
it's
somewhere
around
here.
D
Let
me
find
it
yeah:
this
is
it
we
did
it
on
his
yeah.
We
did
it
here,
so
anybody
that
wants
can
file
an
issue
if
they're
interested
in
us,
adding
a
page
or
something
about
it.
I
was
thinking,
it'd,
be
cool
to
have
a
containerdy
page
or
something
also.
If
anybody
wants
to
contribute,
of
course,
you're
totally
welcome
to
I'll
I'll,
put
a
link
in
in
the
sick,
Windows
Slack.
D
Yeah
yeah,
yeah,
yeah
and
and
I'll
add
one
in
the
thing
right.
D
Yeah
I'll,
you
know
we
should
add
one
I'll,
just
add
one
right
now,
while
we're
talking
to
you,
but
but
definitely
if
you,
if
you
had
one,
that's
good
too
okay,
here
we
go
there.
We
go
now
I'm,
showing
you
a
customer
escalation.
D
There
we
go.
Let's
see
here
so
Docs,
I
love.
These
read
the
docs.io
sites,
they're
so
easy
to
put
stuff
into
so
I
guess
we
would
be
you
go
to
index.md,
but
yeah.
Now
you
all
can
look
at
the
docs.
Oh
actually,
no,
there
is
I
just
it
was
just
hard
to
see
it.
Oh
good!
A
D
It's
in,
if
you
yeah,
oh
I,
wasn't
sharing
my
screen.
Yeah
I'll
show
you
so
I
just
added
it
now
it's
it
was
I
guess
in
here,
so
it
was
here
so
I
just
made
that
a
separate
line
so
that
it's
easier
to
see.
D
A
All
right
all
right,
let
me
take
back.
We
start
sharing
again.
A
So
this
is
a
issue
that
Mark
opened
sometime
last
year:
yeah
Jan
2022
we've
been
getting
feedback
from
the
community
that
there's
not
enough
documentation
on
the
kubernetes
documentation
website
for
adding
Windows
nodes,
and
the
added
difficulty
for
us
is
the
kubernetes.
Docs
should
not
include
anything
regarding
you
know,
setting
up
a
cni,
for
example
like
if
there's
anything
that
has
to
do
with
flannel.
You
point
at
the
flannel
docs
is
what
I
understand
so
Mark
was
was
and
created
this
issue
about.
A
You
know
how
do
we
improve
it,
and
so
there
are
a
bunch
of
minor
changes
that
we
need
to
make
which
some
of
them
have
been
made,
where
we
are
moving
so
for
a
while
everything
on
that
had
to
do
with
Windows
lived
in
one
place,
so
we
started
moving
things
from
which
was
storage
specific
into
the
storage
subsections
inside
the
docs
same
thing
for
for
things
like
networking,
but
the
biggest
thing
I
think
we've
been
getting
pushed
back
on
is
like
how
do
you
bring
up
a
Windows
node
itself?
A
That's
where
we've
you
know
we're
still
not
sure
how
to
how
to
tackle
that.
So
this
has
been
up
for
a
while.
We.
A
B
Yeah,
and
so
there
was
an
issue
somewhere
recently
where
they
recognized
that
they
removed
it
from
the
Linux
side
as
well,
and
they
wanted
to
bring
it
back
on
the
Linux
side
and
before
we
did
anything
on
the
Windows
side.
B
So
I
don't
know
if
they've
made
any
progress
on
that,
but
that
was
kind
of
the
last,
because
because
I
they
asked
there
was
an
open
issue
like
how
do
we
do
this
in
Windows
and
I
said
I'm
not
going
to
do
this
on
Windows
until
we
have
something
on
Linux,
so
that
I
can
mimic
that?
Because
last
time
we
did
it
on
Windows,
it
was
like.
Oh,
you
can't
include
all
that
stuff
and
so
I
think
they're
they're
shh
be
an
issue
somewhere
that
links
up
to
the
Linux
side
for
the
spring.
A
B
Yes,
it
would
be
in
the
website,
maybe
search
for
Windows.
D
I
gotta
drop
y'all,
but
thanks
for
doing
this,
this
is
so
much
work
here.
Thanks
for
doing
this,.
B
It
would
be
like
getting
started.
E
E
B
I
believe
yes
issue.
Three
four,
four:
seven,
six.
B
And
at
the
bottom
Tim
Tim
had
mentioned.
B
Yeah
all
the
way
to
the
bottom:
oh
okay,
yeah
yeah
start
with
the
Linux
task
page.
So
if
we
get
Linux
task
page
up
and
going,
then
we
can
follow
that
as
a
pattern.
Through,
the
Windows
okay.
But
since
Linux
is
the
first
step.
B
Anyways
Bishop
have
a
Linux
node
for
the
control
plane
we
we
might
as
well.
We
need
to
get
that
up
and
going.
B
So
if
we
go
up
to
the
top
of
this
one,
you
know
I
saw
a
couple
things.
One
would
be
making
sure
we
have
minimum
requirement
system
requirements
on
the
intro
to
Windows
and
kubernetes,
so
that
that's
a
task
item
that
somebody
could
pick
up.
Okay
and
then
a
bunch
of
the
ones
that
are
listed
underneath
split
content
pages
is
review
concepts
for
accuracy.
A
A
Any
volunteers
in
this
meeting
I
know
I
had
taken
I.
Think
I'd
in
fact
finished
this,
but
I
I,
don't
think
I
can
make,
can
I
make
it
no
yeah
I
think
we'll
have
to
wait
for
Mark
to
come
back,
but
for
the
ones
that
have
not
been
assigned
to
anyone.
Are
there
any
folks
on
the
call
that
wants
to
take
a
take
a
try?
A
We
could
start
with
specifying
minimum,
though
I'm
guessing
who
wants
to
take.
This
up
is
going
to
come
back
and
ask
us
or
basically
ask
you
and
Mark
James.
A
But
yeah
I
think
you
know:
James
will
be
happy
to
help
out
and
guide
people
to
write
this
down.
So
if
any
folks
have
any
desire
to
add
to
documentation
either
you
can
speak
up
now
or
ping
us
on
big
windows
and
we
can
get
that
going.
C
Tzifu
t
z
I.
If
you
did
I.
A
Yeah
and
one
Mark
is
back:
we
can
get
him
to
update
this,
and
if
you
have
the
pr
open,
we
can
just
add
a
link
under
this
to
the
pr
oud,
that's
good
awesome
and
with
that
we're
also
coming
to
the
end
of
our
time
slot
here.
So
thank
you.
All
folks
for
attending
I
will
see
you.
I
will
see
everybody
on
slack.
If
there's
no
other
burning
issues
for
folks
who
talk
about
all
right,
going
once
going
twice
going
twice.
