Description
Kubernetes SIG Windows 20170502
A
Okay,
all
right,
hello,
everybody!
This
is
another
sick
windows
meeting.
This
is
Michael
Michael
from
aprender
and
I've
got
a
bit
of
folks
here
who
have
some
folks
from
Google
Jason
from
the
networking
team
of
Microsoft
of
Chris
hand
and
Linda
from
aprender
as
well
as
Robert,
the
mobile
down
sting
who
ever
met
before
yeah.
A
B
A
So
so
what
what
we've
done
is
actually
cast
a
few
folks
from
aprender,
including
Linda.
That's
on
the
call
and
a
couple
of
others,
Janani
and
Bob
you'll
see
them
more
active
in
the
channel
now
and
they're
responsible
right
now
to
first
get
acclimated
with
all
of
the
code
that
we
have
learned
more
living
more
about
kubernetes
and
the
investments
that
we've
done
in
Windows
Server
containers
and
then
immediately
after
that
they're
going
to.
A
They're,
just
not
100%
done,
will
get
us
to
beta.
Our
goal
was
originally
to
get
to
bed
at
one
point
time
frame,
which
will
be
June,
I'm,
not
sure
if
we're
going
to
end
up
hitting
that
date,
but
we'll
be
closed
after
that.
So
so
now
that's
a
good
thing.
We
have
resources
apprentice,
providing
the
developers
here
and
when
I
get
started
on
that
the
other
update
I
want
to
provide
and
Anthony
just
joined
us
is
the
fact
that
you
know
Jason
and
I
have
been
working.
A
A
We
are
they're
still,
though,
committed
to
provide
the
cni
plugin
for
kubernetes,
and
they
are
working
on
the
cni
plugin
for
hyper-v
today
for
ovn
and
OBS.
So
the
translation
to
kubernetes
might
not
be
a
huge
effort,
so
Jason
and
his
team
are
providing
as
much
help
as
possible
there
to
facilitate
that.
A
That's
the
high
level
update
for
me,
so
all
in
all
couple
of
good,
exciting
news.
We
have
resources,
we're
going
to
be
moving
forward
with
with
a
road
to
2
beta
and
going
down
or
Vienna
vs
route,
and
the
second
thing
is
a
staggering
cloud
base
provide
better
networking
alternatives
in
this
space.
Then
we
have
more
options
in
terms
of
the
networking
backplane
for
SiC
windows.
B
Large,
they
were
given
a
lot
of
platform
work
and,
let's
go
to
milestone,
make
sure
windows
word
for
the
underlying
load,
balancing
and
others
such
work.
I
think
loadouts
is
kind
of
made
what
we're
doing
now,
as
well
as
the
nap
solution,
which
basically
only
utilizes
one
container
at
point
rather
than
two
and
those
are
the
main
things
on
platforms
like
we're.
Doing
we're
also
working
to
create
our
own
scene.
I
fell
again
using
one
of
our
post
networking
service,
network,
Evo's
or
drivers.
A
Excellent
there
on
the
top
that
you
just
said
like
one
of
them.
Obviously,
the
cni
plugin
is
going
to
help
cloud-based
a
lot
and
definitely
tiger
as
well
and
they're,
not
interface
with
just
a
single
Nick.
It's
definitely
going
to
be
music
to
the
years
of
Google,
so
so
Peter
head
I,
think
that's
the
deal.
That's
partly
for
you
guys,
yeah.
B
A
Absolutely
okay,
the
cloud-based
guys,
none
of
them
joined
us
so
I,
don't
know
what
the
status
is
on.
Their
CNI
work
for
ovn
OVS,
so
I
have
min
Alessandra
haven't
talked
in
the
last
week
or
so
so
I
don't
have
any
more
details
than
what
I
mentioned
earlier.
Is
there
anybody
else
on
the
call
that
would
like
to
provide
an
update
or
ask
any
questions.
A
C
A
So
so
on
the
volumes,
that's
part
of
our
roadmap,
to
beta,
to
get
both
sergeant
volumes
all
up
to
par
and
and
working
very
well
on
the
reporting
aspect.
You
know:
there's
the
C
advisories
and
in
this
in
the
CRI,
the
container
runtime
interface
work
testing
happening
in
the
sequel,
chicken
node
a
community
of
kubernetes
is
something
that
we
were
initially.
A
A
It's
just
an
unfortunate
leasing
of
know
how
many
resources
Anthony.
So
if
you
make
this
sense
that,
if
you
want
to
bring
anybody
from
your
team
that
wants
to
come
in
and
contribute
and
help
us
out-
and
maybe
he
can
be
tasked
to
getting
the
C
advisor
port
and
all
the
functionality
from
CRI
into
this,
you
know
that'd
be
phenomenal.
Yeah.
C
A
A
D
So
no
major
fits
from
the
Google
side,
but
I
just
wanted
to
mention
that
I
and
a
few
other
people
working
on
Windows
on
GCE
will
be
at
the
build
conference.
Microsoft
build
conference
next
week
here
in
Seattle.
So
if
anyone
else
out,
there
is
going
to
be
there.
What's
the
chat
with
us,
let
me
know
Oh
excellent.
