Description
Kubernetes SIG Windows 20180508
A
Hello,
everybody
and
welcome
to
another
sig
Windows
meetup.
Thank
you
all
for
attending
last
week
was
Kubek
on
Europe,
so
I
hasn't
been
a
ton
of
activity
in
our
both
in
our
channel,
as
well
as
in
work
streams.
I'll
provide
a
couple
of
quick
updates
and
then,
if
you
have
anybody
that
attended
could
be
gone
and
they
wanna
give
us
a
brief
high-level
overview
that
that'd
be
great.
On
our
end,
Bob
and
his
team
have
been
working
on
basically
improving
the
series
of
set
of
scripts
to
be
able
to
stand
up
kubernetes
cluster
to
Windows.
A
The
ultimate
goal
is
that
you
have
a
vagrant
cluster,
then,
where
all
the
paul
is
something
like
vagrant
up
and
you
get
a
full
working
cluster
with
windows
in
it
that
will
significantly
improve
the
out
of
box
experience
for
both
customers,
partners
and
anybody
else.
That
wants
to
try
outside
windows
we're
actually
down
to
the
last
couple
of
issues
according
to
Bob
and
his
team.
So
so
the
automation
is
very
close
to
being
produced
and
open
source
for
everybody
other
than
that.
A
I
know
that
the
contributor
Sammy
did
we
give
an
update
last
week
and-
and
you
know,
things
went
well
and
I-
don't
see.
Oh
Alan
is
here,
so
he
can
give
us
an
update
and
I.
Don't
know
that
what
have
any
other
things
are
ongoing.
So,
let's
get
started
with
a
lean
and
some
of
the
Kubek
on
europe
and
contribute
summit
updates.
B
B
C
A
D
D
A
Well,
as
the
issues
make
sure
that,
first
of
all
that
everything
that,
in
the
teller
board
as
a
ticket
also
makes
it
into
an
issue,
I
think
most
of
them
are
but
I
think
we
fixed
a
couple
of
bugs
or
a
balancing
the
merge
yet,
but
Bob
did
any
of
them.
Commercio,
though
they
were
just
fixed
and
they're
merging
your
private
branch
first
and
then
we
emerge
into
the
kubernetes
branch.
So
how
you
guys
are
following
the
approach
I.
A
A
E
So
once
I
got
a
link
to
that
presentation,
I'll
I'll
be
sure
to
post
that
everyone
else
wants
to
look
at
it,
but
one
of
things
I
did
those
I
started
collecting
the
samples
that
were
using
each
event
over
in
a
separate
repo.
It's
Windows
Kate's
samples
and
just
posted
that
in
the
chat
window
and
we've
got
a
really
really
simple
sample
there
that
were
using
to
illustrate
persistent
volumes
and
Sousa,
bowed
and
Nick.
E
Have
the
deployment
files
they'll
be
adding
into
that
repo
and
so
probably
like
in
a
week
or
two
it'd
be
great.
If
I
could
get
a
second
look
from
someone
else,
that's
using
either
s
and
B
or
I
scuzzy
on
that
and
then
I
also
have
a
link
to
the
updated
version
of
the
fabric
and
fiber
demo.
That
I've
been
using
and
I
did
a
bunch
of
cleanup
over
on
that
on
that
one.
E
So
it
should
be
ready
for
people
to
run
pretty
easily.
You
know
if
you
need
to
be
able
to
run
a
demo
and
that
particular
one
you
can
also
build
in
Visual,
Studio
run
and
docker
compose
or
Brennan
and
kubernetes.
So
that's
just
some
conference
work
I've
been
doing,
but
maybe
it'll
be
helpful
to
somebody
else.
A
B
E
Don't
know
if
there's
a
trial
released
yet,
but
it
should
be
up
on
a
juror
by
the
end
of
this
week
and
there's
also
a
new
set
of
container
base
images
for
Windows,
Server
or
version
1803,
and
those
will
be
on
docker
hub
soon.
I
thought
they
were
supposed
to
be
there
yesterday,
but
they're
not
turn
out
there.
Quite
yet
there
might
be
at
the
person
that
has
to
hit
approve
is
over
at
build
right.
Now,
that's
my
best
guess.
F
I
have
a
question
I'm
trying
to
set
up
a
cabinets
cluster
with
a
Linux
master
and
Windows
node,
and
my
windows
notice.
Joy
I
mean
using
cube
ADM.
My
windows
notice
join
to
the
master,
but
when
I
like
try
to
deploy
any
port,
I
mean
it
doesn't
deploys
his
waiting
for
the
network
to
be
created
and
I.
Try
to
create
the
network
by
using
ovn
and
also
the
the
all
the
things
I
mean.
I
follow
the
document
given
by
the
Cuban
heads,
but
it
doesn't
work
actually
I'm
stuck
here
since
three
weeks.

everyone
on

I
think
you
just
wanted
to
do
that.
