Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Always
these
meetings
are
recorded
and
uploaded
to
YouTube
so
be
sure
to
adhere
to
the
cncf
code
of
conduct
for
anybody
who's
new
here
that
pretty
much
boils
down
to
be
nice
to
everybody
all
right.
Let's
get
started
in
terms
of
announcements,
I
think
still
only
announcement
is
enhancements.
Freeze
is
coming
in
a
couple
of
weeks,
I
guess
we're
under
a
month
away
now,
I've
been
talking
about
enhancements
and
we
think,
hopefully
it's
not
going
to
be
an
issue.
A
Looking
on
the
call
I,
don't
see
anybody,
who's,
new
or
unfamiliar,
so
I
think
we
can
skip
the
new
contributors.
Welcome
if
anybody
wants
to
say
anything,
if
you
please
feel
free
to
do
so
or
just
add
an
agenda
item
here
and
I
guess
get
onto
the
agenda
Jay.
Do
you
want
to
yeah
if
we
click
into
this
the
segmental
one
first.
B
Yeah,
so
the
update
is
I,
we
taught
I
talked
to
I
tested
the
pr
that
we
have,
that
mateis
has
and
I
was
playing
around
with
the
Mage
file
and
I.
First
of
all,
it's
really
cool.
It's
just
way.
It's
way,
it's
just
it's
great,
because
it's
like
a
bunch
of
Mage
make
targets
that
are
go
so
it's
readable
and
attackable,
which
is
great
and
he's
sort
of
done.
This
massive
overhaul-
and
it's
he's
deflected
on
Windows-
it's
working
pretty
well
now
for
him,
I
don't
have
a
Windows
laptop.
B
It's
off,
though
so
I'm
like
well
I
was
testing
on
my
Ubuntu
machine
back
here
and
it
was
like
virtualbox
doesn't
come
up
with
private
networks
on
Ubuntu
and
I.
Don't
think
anybody's
gonna
have
a
better
experience
than
I
did
I
mean
you
know,
I,
don't
think
if
it
doesn't
work
on
Ubuntu
I
can't
imagine
it's
going
to
work
on.
You
know
Centos
or
something
so
I
kind
of
feel
like
we
need
to
get,
and
then
the
qemu
work
has
been
sort
of
hobbling
around.
B
So
the
other
initiative
is,
can
we
get
this
to
work
on
qamu
I
have
found
that
even
in
the
best
case
scenario,
the
network
latency
in
qemu
can
sometimes
be
like
10
seconds
so
like
SSH
into
a
box
and
that's
on
a
pretty
that's
that's
on
like
a
that.
Well
worst
case,
not
best
case,
so,
like
I've
seen
it
take
from
five
to
ten
seconds
to
SSH
into
a
node
and
I'm
like
there's
like
there's.
Just
not
nobody
can
it's
just
not
gonna
work,
and
then,
on
top
of
that,
there's
some
different
networking
mode.
B
You
have
to
use
called
slurm
or
something
because
pinging
and
like
doesn't
work
between
you
can't
like
Ping
between
hosts
on
qmu
by
default,
unless
you
turn
a
special
networking
mode
on
and
so
there's
this
guy
I'm
always
been
hacking
around
on
that
and
I've
been
looking
at
it
with
him,
and
we've
been
testing
it
back
and
forth
and
we're
like
okay,
so
the
qemu
stuff
is
shot
I,
don't
know
if
Ubuntu
does
a
very
good
job
with
automated
VMS,
so
I
think
we
are
kind
of
this
isn't
a
decision.
B
This
is
more
like
a
reality.
I
think
we
are
going
towards
a
world
where
we
can
only
support
one
operating
system
for
a
development
environment
and
the
only
one
that
seems
to
work
right
now,
ironically,
is
Windows
so
like,
unless
somebody
could
tell
me
how
to
use
virtualbox,
7
or
some
other
hypervisor
with
vagrant
or
with
some
other
kind
of
thing.
That's
declarative
and
easy
for
people
to
use
like,
like
vagrant
I,
think
we're
running
out
of
options,
but
at
the
same
time
we're
running
out
of
options.
B
I
think
we're
converging
on
something
that
might
actually
be
maintainable,
so
that's
kind
of
where
we're
at
so.
C
D
B
C
Okay,
if
that's
the
case,
then
we
should
just
go
with
whatever
you
think
is
going
to
be
maintainable.
Are
you
worried
that
it's
going
to
be
broken
on
Linux,
like
I.
B
B
There's
a
bug
I
just
showed
here
that
that
I
filed
that
or
no
that's,
not
the
one
I
filed,
but
maybe
that's
the
one
I
filed
I,
don't
know,
but
I
filed
one,
that's
very
similar,
which
is
that
private
networks,
Ubuntu
and
vagrant
don't
seem
to
work,
and
this
is
like
a
new
thing.
So
let
me
see,
vagrant
was.
B
Yeah,
like
this
is
some
new
regression
with
the
latest
vagrant
or
the
latest
virtual
box,
or
something
like
that.
But
I
think
you
need
the
latest.
You
know
so
so
these
are
all
new
regressions
that
I
never
used.
Ubuntu
I
always
used
to
use
my
Mac
the
amd64,
but
my
company
sent
me
a
new
Mac,
so
I
can't
even
test
Sig
Windows
Dev
tools
on
my
Mac
anymore
and
I.
Don't
know
anybody
who's
got
an
AMD,
64.
or
Mac
anymore.
C
B
C
B
Are
you
on
that's
good
news?
What
what
OS
are
you
I'm
on
Fedora,
but
we
should
just
use
your
thing.
So
can
you
just
give
us
exact
versions
like
what
vagrant,
what
Fedora
and
and
I'll
I'll
install
Fedora
on
mine
and
then
I'll
test
it?
That's
that's
fine.
I
mean
that's
great.
If
we
can
support
Fedora
and
windows,
that's
that's
great
right.
Okay,.
C
Yeah
I
I,
don't
know
I,
don't
think
we've
merged
anything
into
monster
since
I
tested
when
I
was
doing
the
the
node
log
stuff
right
or
did
any
changes.
D
C
B
Yeah
I
mean
nothing.
You
know
I
to
my
knowledge.
If
your
thing
used
to
work,
it
should
still
work.
Okay.
What
I'm,
seeing
though
the
weird
thing
that
I'm,
seeing
though
Arvin
that
just
be
warned
here,
is
that
I,
newer
versions
of
vagrant
and
newer
versions
of
virtualbox
I'm
I,
don't
know
if
that
works
anymore
with
this
stuff,
I
I'm,
not
sure
like
because
I,
you
know
we're
talking
about
virtualbox,
7.0.2
and
vagrant
2.3.6
and
we're
seeing
problems,
and
those
are
the
latest
versions.
B
B
D
A
B
Yeah,
it
feels
so
fragile
right
now
to
me,
mataze
is
the
only
one
that
seems
to
have
it
stable,
hey
Arvin.
Can
you
test
matay's
patch?
It's
real
easy.
It
takes
like
five
seconds.
All
you
got
to
do
is
W
get
Mage
from
the
internet,
install
it
on
your
thing
and
then
you
just
do
like
Mage,
clean
Mage,
all
and
okay
boom.
It
just
brings
the
whole
cluster
up
for
you
and.
C
B
C
C
C
Yeah
I
recently
updated
updated.
My
Fedora
I
now
realized
I
haven't
tried
six
Windows
devtool
since
I've
dated
my
Fedora,
so
I'll
try
it,
but
it
was
working
with
127
I
tested
all
of
this
with
one
Tennyson.
That's
how
I
got
a
lot
of
that
stuff
merged.
So
I
know
it
worked
with
127..
B
Yeah
I
mean
I
I've
got
this
machine
here.
If
your
thing
works
on
Fedora,
I
literally
will
put
Fedora
on
this
machine
and
I'll
start
using
that,
and
then
we
will
just.
We
can
merge
mate
stuff
and
we
can
say
look
this
works
on
Windows.
It
works
on
Fedora.
If
you
need
help
with
Fedora,
you
talk
to
arvind
or
Jay.
If
you
need
help
with
Windows,
you
talk
to
Mateus
and
now
we've
we've
unlocked
an
entire.
B
Sig
Windows,
oh
the
wind
service
proxy
stuff
Damon,
has
got
a
we've,
got
this
Branch,
that's
working
with
cluster
IPS
and
in
an
eks
cluster
and
Damon's
got
Damon's
the
one
who
wrote
the
the
code
for
it
to
get
it
working.
It
wasn't.
The
last
version
wasn't
working.
It
was
doing
something
weird
with
hns
and
he's
fixed
all
that
up
and
he's
trying
to
learn
more
about
hns
and
so
I
was
thinking.
B
Maybe
he
wants
to
learn
more
about
it
before
he
does
the
next
round
of
changes
to
do
to
get
node
ports
and
all
that
stuff
working.
So
I
was
thinking
maybe
next
week,
if
David
shot
or
some
other
folks
maybe
could
come
and
give
us
a
little
tutorial.
That
might
be
a
good
idea.
D
D
B
B
B
A
C
B
All
right,
I'm,
back,
okay,
okay,
sorry
about
that,
I,
don't
know
if
you
had
any
questions,
but
still
so
that
happens.
So
this
weird
thing
happens
right.
So
then
you
go
to-
and
this
is
really
weird
this
error.
This
is
so
weird
I,
don't
know
what
this
means,
but
it
says
this
VM
is
in
Guru
meditation
state,
so
it
literally,
this
is
a
this
is
a
some
kind
of
this
is
some
kind
of
defined
state
that
a
virtual
machine
that
a
computer
can
be
in
Guru
meditation
state,
so
I.
B
D
If
on
the
topic,
which
basically
says
good
meditation
about
to
punch
my
screen,
which
perfectly
reflects
the
situation
so.
B
I,
don't
know
you
have
to
do
this
network.
You
have
to
do
this.
I
set
up
this
file
here,
where
you
have
to
you
have
to
make
this
file,
so
that's
all
I
had
to
do
to
get
it.
Working
is
I,
just
I
just
had
to
make
that
file,
and
so
that
it
was
like
allowing
me
to
make
10.
whatever
Networks
and
then
I,
and
then
I
I
was
able
to
run
the
Mage
stuff.
B
So
that's
where
we're
at
you
know,
I,
haven't
really
I
haven't
been
able
to
troubleshoot
this,
so
I
hope
it
doesn't
happen
to
you,
though
arvind
right
like
so
so.
C
It
looks
like
them
that
Guru
meditation
can
only
happen
on.
Are
you
on
on
Ubuntu
yeah?
This
is
Ubuntu.
C
B
Yeah,
so
you
know
so
that's
kind
of
where
we're
at
but
yeah.
As
you
can
see,
it's
super
easy.
You
just
have
to
do
this
Mage
all
and
one
of
the
things
that
I
really
like
about
it.
You
know
I'd
never
used
a
mage
file
before,
but
if
you
look
wait,
where's
the
Mage
file.
B
You
know
and
we
can
change
vagrant
out
for
something
else
later
in
the
future.
Like
hyper-v,
for
example,
you
know
if
we
decide
to
just
go
fully
native
Windows
support,
depending
on
what
happens
with
with
arvin's
attempt
today
you
know
and
so
I
think
it's
it's
this.
What
he's
done
is
he's
decoupled.
The
code
base
from
vagrant,
which
is
I,
think
the
most
important
thing
and
he's
also
managed
to
sort
of
provide
this
Windows
thing
that
works.
So
we
need
to
get
him
to
confirm
that
it's
stable
on
Windows.
B
He
did
on
slack
today,
but
I
think
I
just
want
to
talk
to
him
and
make
sure,
and
then
let's
see
how
arvin's
stuff
goes.
B
C
D
B
B
All
right,
just
let
me
know
I
will
if
you
want
to
hop
pop
open,
a
zoom
or
something
Arvin,
I'm,
happy
to
watch
you
test
it
on
the
side.
I'm
doing
other
things
today,
but
I
I
have
some
Cycles
to
swap
back
and
forth,
but
otherwise
I'll
just
assume
we'll
just
check
for
it.
Asynchronously
in
Slack
sounds
good
cool.
