A
Get
started:
welcome
everybody
to
May
3rd
I,
can't
believe
it's
mayor
already
Qbert
meeting
we'll
just
pop
down.
Let
me
let
me
do
that
thing
where
I
share
my
screen,
if
I
can
and
while
I'm
doing
that,
if
people
could
write
down
where
they
their
names
in
the
attendees,
let
me
pop
it
in
in
there
chat.
A
A
Yes,
we
can
excellent.
I've
got
that
fun.
Cursor
thing
awesome
lots
of
fun.
Well,
all
right!
Do
we
have
any
anyone
new
here
today
that
would
like
to
introduce
themselves
say
good
day
and
say
a
little
bit
about
them.
A
Alrighty,
that's
all
right.
The
schedule-
check-in
I
I-
have
to
open
this
somewhere
else.
Just
so,
I
can
see
it
so
the
cupert
V1
schedule
I'll
have
to
bring
it
up
here.
A
Where
are
we
at
we're
in
May?
So
not
a
lot
is
happening,
see
our
lands
for
provider
are
voting
and
then
we'll
take
a
beta
because
that
next
week,
so
that's
where
we're
at
worth
pointing
out
that
we
are
one
month
away
from
the
V1
feature
freeze.
So
please
keep
that
in
mind
going
forward
and
we'll
continue
to
check
in
on
this.
A
A
There
will
be
a
few
people
at
both
of
them
and
there
will
be
a
lot
of
qubit
people
as
I
understand
at
Devcon,
we've
got
nine
keyboard
related
talks
or
people
from
the
convert
Community
presenting
somehow
and
we'll
also
have
a
booth
I,
don't
yet
know
where
the
booth
is
going
to
be
I'm,
also
trying
to
organize
a
cube
hackathon
while
people
are
gathered
because
we'll
have
in
excess
of
10
to
12
people.
So
please,
let
me
know
if
you'll
be
there.
A
Otherwise
I
might
end
up
booking
a
room
too
small,
which
is
what
happened
at
Cooper.
Honestly,
at
the
project
meeting
another
thing
and
the
mouse
cursor
thing
is
going
to
be
really
annoying.
A
Oh
there
it
is
so.
This
has
been
talked
about
quite
a
bit.
It
was
merged
I.
Think
last
week
this
was
a
favorite
is
favored
on
the
call.
A
Okay,
so
this
was
a
community
update
that
is
aimed
at
increasing
the
coverage
of
reviews
and
providing
a
a
simpler
ramp
up
of
people
being
able
to
come
a
reviewer
or
maintainer
within
the
cubic
community,
and
so
rather
than
a
review
requiring
or
improve
a
rather
requiring
an
extremely
Broad
and
comprehensive
code
knowledge
in
order
to
become
an
approver
we've
kind
of
fabian's,
email
and
I
should
drop
the
link
to
his
email
in
the
chat.
He
had
a
whole
slide
deck
about
this
with
horizontal
and
vertical.
A
He
referred
to
them
as
smes
and
six.
Ultimately,
the
discussion
just
led
to
them
being
called
six
and
I
can't
see
my
mouse.
So
that's
a
pain
anyway.
I
just
wanted
to
put
put
this
in
front
of
you:
I'll
have
to
fix
how
Zoom
shares
my
screen
for
the
next
time.
I
end
up
accidentally
doing
this.
A
Please
look
into
that
and
if
you
are
interested,
hopefully
you
can
now
see
how
you
could
become
an
approver.
If
that
is
your
jam
and
help
out
one
of
the
ways
that
this
does
make
it
easy
is,
you
can
have
strong
component
knowledge
and
then
you
can
approve
things
that
involve
that
component.
You
might
get
called
in
to
say,
hey
look!
This
broader
PR
includes
this
component.
Please
can
we
get
your
feedback
on
this
yeah?
Any
questions.
B
That
is
on
me:
I
created
the
a
PR
on
the
community,
proposing
a
different
implementation
on
how
we
do
monitoring
so
far
as
a
person
that
works
a
lot
on
money,
carding
on
qvirt
and
I've,
been
opening
a
lot
of
fprs
on
pubert
monitoring
code
and
I
feel
that
the
way
we
built
it
in
the
beginning
it
worked,
but
now
we
are
eating
several
pitfalls.
For
example,
a
monitoring
code
is
spread
throughout
all
of
the
car
codes
of
qubit.
B
It's
hard
to
keep
a
mental
model
of
monitoring
is
implemented,
it's
hard
to
add
new
metrics
and
alerts
and
and
maintaining
them.
This
is
a
problem
that
we
already
discussed
in
the
past.
I
see
that
in
the
call
there
is
Igor
Federico
and
lupus
lab
and
I've
I
think
I've
talked
with
them
about
this
brow
problem
too,
and
they
have
been
reviewing
my
PRS
and
a
lot
of
times.
We
have
issues
upgrading
the
code
even
doing
the
end-to-end
tests,
so
I
created
this
design
proposal.
B
The
idea
is
to
create
a
separate
monitoring
package
where
you
do
all
the
logic
related
to
monitoring,
and
then
you
will
be
able
to
remove
it
from
the
core
cube
with
code
and
have
a
clear
separation
of
of
the
both
of
them.
So
I
ask
everyone
present
here
to
to
take
a
look
at
this
document
to
this
VR.
Leave
your
opinions,
your
ideas
and
possible
improvements,
so
that
we
can,
in
the
future,
maybe
implement
this
and
improve
our
monitoring
is
being
done
on
qubit.
A
All
right
look
looks
wonderful,
I
forward
to
reading
it.
Thank
you
very
much
for
proposing
that.
A
Yeah
and
everyone
does
have
any
thoughts-
you
can
jump
right
there
onto
the
under
the
pr
new
tag.
Is
this
Daniel
O'brien
speak
to
this.
C
C
A
It
wasn't
me
either,
so
we
have
Mr
in
my
hands.
Maybe
it's
just
as
simple
as
there
is
a
new
tag
who
would
have
added
this
if
anyone,
whoever
opened
this
on
the
open
floor,
if
you
would
like
to
de-mute
and
and
talk
to
it,
otherwise,
we'll
just
take
it
at
face
value
and
move
on.
A
I'm
already,
but
we'll
take
it
at
basically
there's
new
tag
in
town.
It
is
the
V100
Alpha.
A
So
great,
that's
a
a
bold
Milestone
Indian.
The
pull
requests
that
need
attention.
I
couldn't
see
anything
everything
seemed
to
have
been
commented
on.
So
thank
you
to
everyone
who
jumps
onto
those
before
we
need
to
look
at
them
in
this
community.
A
The
mailing
list
review
this
mouse
thing
is
really
annoying
Chandler
put
forward
a
a
comment
about
reorganizing
the
user
guide.
At
the
moment
it
is
split
into
two
giant
areas
which
is
Operation
and
virtual
machines,
and
he
believes
that
the
community
can
come
up
with
the
pay
creative
solution
to
it.
So
I'd
like
to
direct
people's
attention
to
that
documentation
is
one
of
those
things
that
a
is
close
to
my
heart,
but
it's
also
fundamental
to
people,
people
being
able
to
understand
how
to
use
the
product.
A
Unfortunately,
it's
one
of
those
things
I
feel
that
I
often
get
left
to
the
very
end
or
to
the
Wayside,
but
it
is
extremely
important.
So
please
take
the
time
to
read
that
whether
it's
a
Friday
afternoon
or
whenever
you've
got
a
break
between
meetings
and
have
a
little
peruse
of
the
virtual
machine
and
operations
and
see
how
we
might
be
able
to
split
them
up
in
a
logical
and
wonderful
way.
Thank
you
and
I
appear
to
have
put
the
bug
scrub
bugs
into
the
zoom
chat.
Sorry
about
that.
A
So,
if,
where
are
we
yeah
from
the
recording
I
gather
that
people
people
could
speak,
you
can
see
my
mouse
cursor?
Is
that
correct.
A
A
Yes,
Brian
for
the
second
one
would
be
great
if
you
could
share
screen
and
take
a
minute.
Okay,
wonderful!
Thank
you.
Not
Elected
bird
operator
has
cubic
acute
depth.
A
There
seems
to
be
a
lot
here.
It's
history
about
the
vert
operator.
I,
don't
know
if
we
want
to
go
through
this
right.
C
A
This
looks
like
something
that
is
in
my
ballpark.
I
will
take
this.
A
Could
anyone
on
the
call
I
didn't
find
anything?
That's
either
obvious
on
this
or
see
something
that
they
might
be
able
to
follow
up
with
the
bug
razor.
A
A
Oh
I
was
kind
of
Open.
Brian
would
also
take
us
through
this
one.
Sorry,
sorry,
can
you
see
my
screen?
Okay?
Yes,
we
can.
Thank
you.
Yeah
I
think
we
had
someone
here
from
monitoring,
so
maybe
they
could
help
us
with
this.
A
I
might
have
to
yeah
track
down
someone
who
works
in
the
monitoring
stuff
and.
B
A
A
And
I
think
that's
it
for
the
issues.
Is
it
Andrew?
That
is
correct,
nothing's
corrected
in
the
last
minute,
and
thank
you
that's
it.
We've
hit
the
end
of
the
agenda
the
open
floor
and
anything
else
does
before
we
close
out.
Does
anyone
have
anything
that
they
would
like
to
say
like
to
bring
out
any
questions.
D
Hi
this
is
bihari,
so
last
week
I
reached
a
beer
for
a
feature
called
viewers
user
interface.
The
pr
ID
is
two
one.
Eight
it
was
I
have
registered
recent
Proposal
with
two
218.,
so
it's
in
a
community
repo.
D
How
can
you
know
when
we
can
I
mean
pin
will
be
discussing
the
design
proposal
because
average?
Last
week
after
the
tight
after
the
me
closing
cup,.
D
I
expected
we,
we
might
be
discussing
it
this
week.
Oh
okay,.
A
All
right,
Brian,
do
you
mind
sharing
your
screen
again
so
that
we
can
take
a
look
at
Community.
D
D
So
in
Cuba,
when
we
try,
when
we
create
a
VM,
if
we
create
any
number
of
interfaces,
all
the
interface
will
be
going
through
the
Linux.
So
the
V,
the
Hubert,
will
try
to
create
a
bridge
between
the
post
kernel
and
the
VM
kernel.
D
So
when,
when
we
have
a
data
plane
that
is
running
in
a
user
space
like
vector,
processing
packet,
Vector,
packeting,
packet,
processing
or
dpdk,
going
through,
the
Linux
like
might
might
be
a
longest
path
to
take,
and
since
the
the
data
pen
will
be
running
in
their
user
space,
if
we
can
have
a
path
that
can
be
directly
connected
from
the
VM
to
the
data
plane
within
the
user,
space
will
help
us
in
first
packet
processing,
so
V
host
user.
With
the
interface
V
host
user.
D
We
should
we
will
be
able
to
achieve
that,
and
we
can
see
that
the
packet
processing
is
faster
compared
to
the
Linux
path.
D
And
for
this
we
will
be
using
few
changes
in
the
world
and
support
so
we'll
be
wanting
some
shade
directory
and
downward
API
volumes,
and
these
two
things
these
two
volumes
will
be
help
us
to
create
a
socket
definition,
create
a
socket
in
our
transport.
So
this
socket
will
be
used
to
connect
to
the
data
data
plane
running
in
the
user
space
and
this
instead
of
creating
a
bridge
for
the
interface
interface
it
this
socket
will
be
directly.
D
So
the
the
API
changes
will
be,
as
we
say
so,
in
the
device
in
the
v
and
spec
definition
under
under
devices
interfaces
we'll
be
giving
the
type
as
V
host
user,
and
once
we
give
that
instead
of
using
the
traditional
Bridge,
it
will
use
this.
We
hold
user
type
interface
and
it
will
bypass
the
kernel.
So
whenever
we
use
a
data,
something
like
dpdk,
the
packets
won't
go
through
the
kernel
of
the
host.
It
will
directly
go
to
the
data
plane.
D
So,
to
have
this
interface
to
I
mean
we
have
the
changes
ready
for
the
feature,
but
to
add
the
intervent
invent
test
cases.
We
need
to
have
the
course
to
have
it
been
running
in
the
user
space
since
we
are
used
in
qubit
CI,
we
are
using
OBS.
D
The
dependency
will
be
to
create
a
OBS
with
the
dbdk
in
the
keyword
CI,
which
can
be
used
so
that
in
the
queue
so
we
use
kubernetes
provided
in
the
while
bringing
up
the
test
setup
like
we
can
export
some
variable
called
kubernetes
provided
and
give
the
value
like
the
case,
1.25,
1.24
or
1.27.
So
when
we,
when
we
do
that,
a
setup
will
be
brought
up,
but
that
will
be
having
only
OBS,
but
there
will
be
no
dpd
case
support
by
default
because
we
won't
be
using
dpdk.
D
So
without
dpd
in
the
host,
we
won't
be
able
to
validate
the
features
so
to
have
the
intervene
test
working
on
the
keywords,
keyword,
CI.
We
need
to
have
dbdk
enabled
on
the
keyword
CI
and
with
that
we
should
be
able
to
run
end-to-end
test
that
can
test
the
field.
This
interface.
C
So
I
think
this
is
like
another.
We
we
had
several
attempts
to
to
suggest
multi
more
Bindings
that
we
have
today.
We
have
today
I,
think
Oscar
right,
Bridge
make
a
v
talk,
pass
the
these
are
the
the
main
ones,
I
think
if
I
remember,
correct
and-
and
there
were
more
bindings
proposed
because
there
were
requirements
for
for
migration
with
bridging
and
and
also
this
dpdk
option
as
well
and
and
I.
Can.
C
The
problem
that
was
raised
by
at
least
by
the
maintainers
was
that
we
are
not
able,
with
the
capacity
of
Engineers,
that
working
on
the
project
to
maintain
all
these
bindings,
even
the
existing
one,
already
programmatic
and
and
the
suggestion
was
to
to
find
a
way
to
extract
the
logic
of
these
bindings
out
of
out
of
the
project,
like
all
the
logic
that
you
plan
to
do
to
to
connect
the
to
implement
the
binding
inside
the
launcher,
so
it
will
be
done
outside
yes
by
by
like,
for.
C
One
of
the
ideas
was
to
do
it
with
the
CNR,
and
then
this
we
could
take
this
your
suggestion
here
and
try
to
see
how
it
will
fit
with
that
idea.
C
So,
if
you
are
interested
in,
we
can
I
can
try
to
contact
you
later
and
and
try
to
understand
if
you
had
a
POC
or
something
or
what
is
needed
exactly
to
be
done
in
the
launcher
to
see.
If
we
can,
we
can
put
this
to
check
if
the
idea
that
will
that
will
have
to
extract
it
out
it
will
it
fit
also
this
scenario.
D
Sure
So,
currently
we
are
using
this
feature
in
a
in
our
testing
I
like
our
own
product.
So
there
we
have
introduced
these
changes
and
we
are
currently
using
this
for
past
few
releases.
So
yeah
we
can
discuss
again.
C
A
I've
I've
already
added
it
to
the
open
floor,
thanks
Ed
for
the
follow-up
and
thanks
for
hurry
from
design
proposal,
it
looks
good
I
did
notice
that
there
was
a
little
conversation
on
the
mailing
list
about
V
host.
Do
you
also
want
to
send
an
email,
not
necessarily
in
that
thread,
but
to
the
mailing
list?
I'm
just
saying:
here's
the
design
proposal
because
look
at
it,
here's
what
it
does
it's
tldr
and
you
might
get
as
well
more
eyes
and
more
thoughts
on
that.
A
All
righty
does
anyone
else
have
anything
that
they
would
like
to
add
at
the
last
minute
to
the
open
floor
or
just
mention
question
answer.
A
All
right
well,
if
not,
then
we're
just
coming
up
to
the
bottom
