Infrastructure teams managing virtual machines (VMs) and the end users of these systems make use of a variety of tools as part of their day-to-day world. One such tool that is shared amongst these two groups is Ansible, an agentless automation tool for the enterprise. To simplify both the adoption and usage of KubeVirt as well as to integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, the KubeVirt community is excited to introduce the release of the first version of the KubeVirt collection for Ansible, `kubevirt.core`, which includes a number of tools that you do not want to miss.

Brief overview of the infrastructure we use to run KubeVirt CI jobs, how it has changed over the last few months and the short/medium term improvements we are working on. Includes a small demo about our usage of Bazel gitops rules to manage components on CI/CD pipelines

This is a demo of the Hyperconverged Cluster Operator, a meta-operator that deploys various components to create an opinionated KubeVirt deployment.
This demo was part of one of the sessions of the recent KubeVirt Summit. A full recording of that session is available here: https://youtu.be/6Jxbt1SzLRE

Nowadays each operating system vendor has its cloud image available to download ready to import and deploy a new Virtual Machine (VM) inside Kubernetes with KubeVirt, but what if you want to install a VM using an existing ISO attached as a CD-ROM?
In this Video, we are going to show how to prepare that VM with the ISO file and the needed drivers to proceed with the installation of Microsoft Windows on a VM running in a Kubernetes cluster through KubeVirt.
The process described in this video is documented in the following blog post: https://kubevirt.io/2020/KubeVirt-installing_Microsoft_Windows_from_an_iso.html

KubeVirt is a robust Virtual Machine management infrastructure that runs on and leverages the core concepts of Kubernetes. The APIs used by KubeVirt will feel very familiar to the seasoned Kubernetes user, but that doesn't cover everybody.
This session is designed to arm users with the practical experience they'll need to deploy Virtual Machines using KubeVirt. We will start with a Virtual Machine running on a local Qemu instance, and using concrete examples, discuss the steps needed to move it to the hybrid cloud. This will cover the Custom Resources used by KubeVirt as well as other considerations such as storage and networking.
