From YouTube: Layer5 Community Meeting - April 17th, 2020
Description
Welcome @ajeetsraina!!
B
A
A
One
is
it's
for
I
guess
for
sign,
guns,
in',
and
there
was
someone
else
it
might
have
been.
It
might
have
been
raj
as
well
that
for
whatever
reason
and
I
think
that
the
whatever
reason
when
you
guys
enter
into
the
meet
it
asks
to
admit
you,
and
that
is
not
the
desired
mode
of
you
being
able
to
join.
A
A
A
The
link
to
the
meeting
minutes
in
the
chat,
so
please
jump
into
the
meeting
minutes.
You
hear
me
be
a
broken
record
about
saying
that
the
meeting
minutes
are
a
community
effort,
just
like
all
of
the
other
projects
that
we
do
so,
please
you
know
edit
those
as
at
will.
Some
of
you
have
introduced
some.
A
A
A
Sure
we're
all
gotcha
okay
well
sheltering
in
place
everyone's
a
sports
global
lockdown,
okay,
fair
enough
very
good.
Let
me
maybe
I
guess
I
thought
I
was
sharing
the
meeting
with
its
I'm,
not
so
good.
So
let's
get
kicked
off
a
couple
of
things.
We're
gonna
force
people
to
do
we're
in
the
presence
of
I.
Think
only
one
one.
A
A
A
E
Sure
so
my
name
is
Ajit
Singh
Rana
I
am
based.
Bangalore
I
am
a
doctor
captain
as
well
as
doc,
pol
bangor
meter
company.
So
I
have
been
organizing
meter
till
the
dead
dr.
Peng
rupee
around
thousand
and
I'm.
Also,
you
know
I
have
been
writing
my
personal
collab
Nick's
telecom.
You
can
find
around
200
plus
blogs
on
da
kubernetes
and
cloud
yeah.
A
A
E
A
All
right,
just
maybe
maybe
primarily
for
a
Jeets
benefit
and
for
Rogers,
maybe
some
some
other
folks,
and
that
is
just
to
say
on
a
weekly
basis.
Currently,
we
have
two
calls
that
we
do.
This
is
the
community
meeting
in
which
the
topics
are
pretty
broad
and
we
often
have
people
from
other
communities
either
presenting
here
or
we
sort
of
discussing
current
events
in
the
ecosystem.
We
also
talked
a
lot
about
ma
cherie.
We
occasionally
have
people
demoing
new
features
of
functionality,
I'm,
not
sure
you
said
so,
that's
good.
A
We
also
have
a
weekly
call
on
Wednesdays,
which
is
a
bit
more
of
a
development
call
in
general,
mostly
on
mysteries,
specifically,
but
but
also
kind
of
on
the
landscape
project
and
soon
will
be
likely
spinning
up
to
other
working
groups,
one
for
performance
management.
That's
gonna,
focus
on
the
SMPS
to
saw
the
service
mission
performance
specification
and
I
keep
thinking
that
I'm
sharing
my
screen
and
I.
Don't
that's!
What's
going
on!
A
A
A
For
those
that
aren't
quick
context
here
is
that
one
of
the
areas
of
functionality
that
meshes
really
as
a
project,
it's
kind
of
got
got
an
initial
focus
on,
is
identifying
and
helping
people
understand
the
overhead
of
a
service
mesh
and
how
they're
performing-
and
there
are
things
to
be
done
there.
It
can
be
helpful
to
have
easy-to-use
tooling
for
understanding
the
overhead,
but
from
it's
my
perspective
and
I
think
that
of
some
others
that
it's
one
thing
to
look
at
the
overhead,
but
to
look
at
it
in
something
of
a
vacuum.
A
Isn't
necessarily
that
helpful,
but
it
needs
to
be
characterized
and
maybe
compared
to
others
who
are
running
similar
environments.
It
also.
There
are
many
signals.
There
are
many
things
to
measure
about
overhead
and
curve
in
running
a
mesh
and
distilling
those
into
a
simple
index
mesh
decks.
If
you
will
I
think
can
be
very
helpful
to
have
people
quickly,
comprehend
sort
of
where
they're
at
on
a
scale
of
how
well
they're
they're
doing
in
terms
of
the
overhead
incurred
for
the
features
that
they're
getting
out
of
a
mesh.
A
So
there's
enough
work
to
be
done
there
that
a
new,
a
new
kind
of
working
group
will
be
spun
up.
I.
Think
just
in
advance
of
that
working
group
being
spun
up,
there's
been
a
lot
of
interest
in
the
community
about
essentially
a
work
stream
around
continuous
integration,
and
so
there's
been
a
call
for
everyone
to
rank
what
time
might
work
with
best
for
them.
This
is
just
it's
just
a
simple
Survey,
Monkey
questionnaire.
A
If
you
are
interested
in
in
CI
we,
you
know,
we
use
the
github
actions
and
workflows
within
the
project
and
they
are
doing
more
and
more
for
us
if
you're
interested,
please
and
you
haven't,
voted
yet
or
you
haven't
ranked
in
which
times
would
work
best
for
you.
Please
do
I
tried
to
make
it
as
not
non
confusing
as
possible
by
listing
of
number
of
different
time
zones.
A
I
didn't
even
capture
all
of
the
time
zones
that
you
all
are
representing
today,
but,
but
please
please
vote
because
that
this
week
will
will
go
ahead
and
get
that
spun
up.
Also
I
know.
There's
a
couple
of
you
that
are
interested
in
essentially
being
working
group
leads
that
each
as
each
of
these
get
going
I'll
be
there
to
help
seed
those
working
groups.
A
Keep
your
comments
to
yourself,
but
the
point
is:
if
anyone
is
interested
in
facilitating
these
meetings,
please
signal,
because
I
would
love
for
someone
else
to
be
doing
it
and
for
me
to
be
heckling
in
the
background,
so
that
there's
that
there's
that
will
let
the
SurveyMonkey
for
that.
Please,
please
vote
as
we
go
to
spin
up.
That
continuous
will
provide
a
lot
of
clarity
about
very
shortly
about
who,
which
individuals
are
involved
and
kind
of
focused
in
which
aspects
of
the
project.
A
A
Governance,
as
a
key
word,
is
something
we've
been
talking
about
the
last
couple
weeks
about
ensuring
that
a
lot
of
that
has
been
written
down,
that
the
community
is
kind
of
bursting
at
the
seams
and
needs
to
have
some
additional
structure
in
order
to
scale
and
scale
well,
so
that
each
of
you
there
are
many
of
you
I.
Consider
that
really
have
a
sense
of
ownership
over
various
aspects
of
the
project.
Do
I
have
a
sense
of
belonging
to
the
community,
which
truly
warms
my
heart,
but
some
of
that
needs
some
better
organization
around
it.
A
A
Like
it
or
not,
it
is
the
number
of
stars
on
a
project
is
a
gating
factor
for
this
for
a
number
of
activities
or
programs
that
a
project
can
go
into
it's
one
of
the
one
of
the
programs
that
Messi
has
been
involved
in
in
the
past
has
been
well
in
the
past
we'll
and
is
currently
is
google
Summer
of
Code,
so
so
project
was
involved
in
google
Summer
of
Code
2019
and
is
in
2020
some
of
you
on
the
call
have
submitted.
You
know,
proposals
and
papers
for
various
project
ideas.
A
A
It
was
the
open
source
summit
put
on
by
the
Linux
Foundation
about
once
every
year
they
had
announced
that
the
last
open
source
summit
community
bridge
not
sure
how
many
of
you're
familiar
with
community
bridge,
but
it
is
a
Linux
Foundation
project
and
in
many
respects,
depends
on
you
who
you
are
what
depends
on
your
perspective,
but
you
could
almost
think
of
it.
Like
github
sponsors
so
get
up,
it
brought
forth
the
ability
to
sponsor
individual
I
think
for
the
most
part
yeah.
A
It
may
be,
for
the
most
part,
individuals
right
as
kind
of
a
an
open
source
of
gig
economy.
If
you
will
well
so
I
bring
this
up
to
say
that
there's
now
a
mentoring
program
through
the
community
bridge
as
well
and
so
layer
five
intends
to
participate
in
this.
Just
like
we
do
Google
Summer
of
Code,
so
there's
opportunities
there.
A
The
point
of
me
bringing
those
up
was
that
part
of
the
requirement.
Those
were
examples
of
like
the
number
there's,
a
certain
number
of
github
stars
that
are
needed
on
a
project
to
participate
in
programs
so
like
it
or
not.
Get
up
stars
are
meaningful
in
this
way,
even
though
in
some
respects,
they're
totally
meaningless
in
other
respects,
they're
they're,
quite
meaningful
and
I
couldn't
help
myself,
but
a
few
minutes
to
go
notice.
The
a
nearly
vertical
jump
and
github
stars
happening
late
last
night,
and
this
morning
cush
cush
is
well.
A
It
looks
like
he's
sort
of
going
for
the
gold
here,
because
I
think
I.
Think
Naveen
is
the
current
titleholder
and
hey
sis
was
our
first
to
just
have
a
massive
jump
on
the
project.
So
if
you
haven't
started
the
project
and
you're
here
on
this
call,
please
go.
Do
tell
your
friends
all
that
kind
of
a
thing
that
will
help
us
as
we
go
to
engage
in
other
programs.
A
Okay,
a
couple
other
announcements,
and
then
we
went
again
to
some
topics.
Hopefully,
and
that
is
there
was
a
presentation
of
ma
cherie
at
well.
They're
there
at
a
virtual
meetup
here
in
Austin,
we
organized
cloud
native
Austin,
which
is
a
CN
CF,
sponsored
meetup
as
well
as
dr.
Austin
docker
sponsored
meet
up
with
anymore
we've
kind
of
brought
those
two
together
and
we
did
our
first
virtual
meet
up
last
night
and
so
there's
a
link
to
well
to
how
it
is
that
we
introduce
mr.
e
and
well
when
we
do.
A
We
introduce
mr.
e
in
this
way,
through
the
community
through
you
and
so
I.
Think
I've
warned
most
of
you
if
you're
gonna
spend
time
here.
You
know
make
sure
that
you,
like
your
profile,
photo
because
I'm
gonna
that'll
be
put
every
anywhere,
that
I
can
find
a
place
to
put
it,
and-
and
so
that
was
done
last
night.
An
interesting
thing
about
that
particular
presentation
was
there's
a
cloud
architect
from
Ericsson.
That's
recently
joined
the
community
asking
lots
of
fantastic
questions.
A
A
A
A
Good
I
think
I
think
that's
Naveen
that
was
speaking
at
your
voice,
is
really
low
but
but
cush
and
nip
or
had
helped,
create
scoop
packaged
scooped
packages
for
metrics
ETL,
I'm
kind
of
curious.
Just
let
me
ask
everyone
here,
as
you
look
at
nursery
and
you
look
at
the
packages
that
it
supports
in
the
package,
the
platforms
that
it
supports.
How
does
how
does
this
that
ability
list
strike
you
as
robust
or
as
kind
of
par
for
the
course
for
from
you
know
a
lot
of
open
source
projects.
A
C
A
A
F
The
blog
post
that
I've
created
I'm,
thus
creating
a
web
page
for
that,
so
basically
I
was
also
trying
to
I
discussed
with
Lee
that
we'll
be
having
a
separate
releases
tag
on,
be
it
on
the
machine,
dot
IO
website
as
well
so
I'm
just
sharing
my
blog
post
that
I've
created
I'll
just
share
it.
I
guess,
since
Lee
you're
sharing
the
screen
for
showing
me
the
option
to
share
my
screen,
yeah.
F
Yes,
okay,
so
this
is
this
was
the
release
that
I
am
I've
been
working
on,
and
so
basically
I
have
added
like
some
of
the
new
or
like
features
that
are
that
are
mainly
there
like
some
of
the
bug
fixes.
What
are
the
new
things
and,
as
I'd
already
showed
in
the
previous
meeting,
we
have
like
the
list.
A
Good,
okay,
I'm
glad
that
only
took
like
10
seconds
to
figure
out
that
I
was
talking
to
myself,
usually
like.
If
you
go
past
30
seconds
or
so
it's
kind
of
a
sign
of
narcissism
and
so
I
was
well
underneath
the
ship
ID.
Can
you
show
people
where
the
new
releases
page
might
be,
or
if
that's
I,
don't
know,
if
you're
able
to
demo
that.
F
B
F
That
will
have
all
the
details
that
are
covered
and
then
we'll
also
have
sort
of
a
drop-down
menu
or
a
sidebar
menu.
It
will
have
all
the
different
releases
and
we,
if
we
click
on
any
one
of
them,
it
was
the
stool
that
particular
release
in
much
more
detail,
because
currently
we
just
have
one
like
one
liner,
description
and
I
guess
that
is
some
somewhat
limited,
as
you
know,
because
we
are
not
even
giving
like
a
like
HTML.
F
For
example,
we
are
not
even
giving
a
hyperlink
to
actually
go
to
the
github
releases
page
for
releases
on
the
documentation,
so
we
have
it
in
much
more
detail,
for
example
like
each
and
every
specific
major
point
that
discuss
that
was
being
covered
within
and
say
the
UI
or,
like
amazing,
buckets
which
each
in
every
release.
If
we
can
have
that
on
that
page,
because
a
lot
of
the
different
companies,
what
we
do
is
that
they
actually
have
a
separate
document
that
you
are.
F
A
Get
it
okay,
oh
very
good.
There
guess
what
I
think
it
was
just
on
had
to
jump
off.
There
guess
was
on
last
night's
virtual
Meetup.
She
was
very
nice
to
see
him
and
Edina
was
there
and
so
was
Vijay.
So
naturally
they
had.
It
was
my
job
to
embarrass
them
on
the
call
about
the
contributions
they
make
in
the
community.
A
A
A
F
G
A
Layer
5
has
with
citrix
that
we
wanted
to
make
a
bigger
splash
went
out
when
that
was
to
come
forth.
So
I
I
don't
know
I,
don't
know
that
we
have
it's
one
of
those
things
that
can
be
quietly
mentioned
as
a
beta
and
then
make
a
bigger
splash
later
when
it
hits
table,
maybe
more,
but
but
it
is
certainly
something
to
include
either
way
whether
it's
in
beta
or
stable.
A
A
G
We
can
also
thank
our
contributors
now
coming
to
the
subsections.
Like
bug,
fixes
UI
changes,
dog's
changes.
We
can
specify
those
subsections
in
the
least
after
dot
yml,
where
like.
If
you
will
see
over
here.
This
is
very
neat
name.
Template
like
I
have
not
upgraded
it,
for
that
is
the
default
template
with
the
westerlies
dropper
uses
any
PR
having
label
feature
enhancement
will
be
including
the
subset
sub
section
features.
Any
PR
having
labels
fix,
bug,
fix
or
bug
will
be
increment
to
subsection
bug
fixes.
G
H
Just
to
know
that
when
we
build
up
when
we
trigger
an
action
indicator,
so
there
is
a
some
kind
of
a
commits
out
there.
That's
okay,
that's
commit
going
to
be
drafted
to
that
release.
So
how
many
comments
are
that
for
that
certainly
Stauffer?
So
that's
a
released
offer
that
you
didn't
have
you
have
you
have
you
that,
with
some
kind
of
a
template
you
using.
G
H
Okay,
good
good,
that's
a
lot!
I
am
using
the
same
kind
of
poker
action
that
I
have
to
find
the
DA
correction
there.
So
every
software
I
needed
for
the
contract
action
is
Precambrian,
a
docker
docker
images
contain
and
they
double
container
has
not
released.
Yet
we
don't
know
good
net
build
it
released.
Refer
to
that
so
I,
don't
I!
Think
I
just
give
you
a
snapshot.
If
you
think
this.
G
Looks
quite
la,
and
also
the
actions
are
pretty
quick,
so
I
don't
think
we
would
need
anything
else
like
if
we
can
see
that
the
reshuffle
don't
mention
suit
off
the
container
is
and
I
also
don't
think
any
docker
action
would
have
permission
to
make
really.
Custom
easel
have
or
include
the
releases
with
PR,
which
really
soft
adduced.
H
Okay,
good
equal
share,
I
share
with
you
some
code
for
that,
so
you
can
think
it's
a
gap.
Better
pull
me
off
from
that.
I
just
want
to
know
just
there,
because
if
a
similar
thing,
but
in
a
different
so
we're
using
this
and
figure
precompile
things
alright
I
think
I
shared
some
good
there's.
Some
people
I
think
you
didn't
see.
A
A
A
A
I
mean
that
time,
chaos
cube
that
Miss
chaos
and
chaos
mesh
and
like
there's,
like
you
know,
six
more
of
them
have
come
round
and
as
we
go
to
for
my
part
personally,
I'll
be
spending
some
time
looking
toward
chaos,
things
based
on
other
hats
that
I
wear
in
the
community
and
we
had
had
a
presentation
in
the
CF
cig
network
of
chaos
mesh.
Those
folks
have
been
on
this
call
before
and
have
have
given
a
little
bit
of
overview
about
chaos.
Mesh
I
think
there's
a
recording
of
them.
A
A
That
may
be
in
part,
can
I
have
part
of
that
discussion
here
about
refreshing,
some
of
us
on
witness
chaos
and
some
of
us
that
haven't
seen
that
miss
chaos,
I,
guess
Raja,
now
I'm
kind
of
putting
you
on
the
spot,
I
didn't
you
didn't
even
necessarily
talk
about
doing
a
demo
or
sir
introducing
the
project,
but
that
was
Kevin
part
my
thoughts.
It
was
like
that
we
were
gonna,
be
spending
time,
looking
at
measuring
movie
things
or
mesh
monkey
things.
C
A
G
A
And
so
there
is
a
repo
that
was
created
some
long
time
ago,
this
one
and
never
you
know
we
hadn't
put
any
code
there.
The
thoughts
that
the
community
has
had
to
date,
the
mystery
community
drive
they
under
the
functional
architecture
and
design
mission.
They
us
this.
The
name
of
it
does
not
this
as
you've
seen
as
before.
A
Service
meshes
are
a
facilitator
of
a
great
many
things.
One
of
those
things
can
be
chaos
and,
as
history
tries
to
help
people
operate
service
meshes.
Better
ties
object,
prove
that
it
is
very
much
in
line
with
part
of
the
project's
goals,
potentially
facilitate
some
to
incorporate
some
amount.
Some
different
types
of
chaos,
the
network,
centric
kind
of
mesh,
centric
dance
and
then
begin
to
facilitate
some
experiments
and
that's
a
whole
mouthful.
You
know
it's
just
what
I
said
like
defining
chaos,
having
a
mechanism
to
schedule,
experiments
and
run
them,
and.
A
C
C
C
Yeah
in
comparison
with
Josh
mesh,
we
do
have
the
network
experiment
like
five
experiments,
corruptions
network
eruption,
delaney,
latency
and
like
according
to
chaos,
smells
they
all
also
have.
But
apart
from
this,
we
have
the
features
like
scheduling
like
orchestrating
the
kiosk
on
a
larger
platform.
These
are
the
features
particulate
myself
so
I
want
you
to
just
go
through
it,
and
now
we
can
start
working
with
machinery
charts
mushy
machinery.
We
are
I'm
thinking
to
add
some
steel
charts
in
the
hub
of
litmus
kioss.
A
C
A
C
A
A
A
C
Generating
new
Chios,
it's
a
pretty
manual
way.
You
have
to
write
the
logic
yeah.
What
you
want
to,
they
are
pretty
much
libraries
for
injection
of
Chios,
like
it
is
an
integration
of
many
languages
like
Pumbaa,
powerful
seal
and
many
more
your
stool
field.
So
you
use
of
this.
You
can
inject
some
flossin.
It
is
a
more
more
than
the
kiosk.
You
can
see
it
pretty
awesome
post
your
chicken
right
low
would
be
chaos
and
conditions.
C
C
C
A
C
A
C
C
C
Dunno
we're
using
the
ansible
right,
experiment,
logic
and
solicitor,
not
Python,
and
that's
all
Python,
but
we
are
starting
using
the
litmus
info.
So
they
are.
We
have
created
recently
wonderful,
it
must
go
in
the
litmus
organization.
We
are
migrating,
some
of
the
experiment
to
go
based:
experiment,
gotcha,
okay,.
A
A
It's
just
so
we'll
take
like
two
minutes
on,
and
that
is
that
that
is
that
a
she
had
identified
the
potential
use
of
well
of
a
welcome
bod
there's
a
bunch
of
bots
that
I
think
we
were
finding
are
gonna,
be
useful
to
the
community,
and
one
of
those
is
essentially
this
guy
right
here.
That
says
you
know
when
someone
makes
their
first
contribution.
A
A
C
Lovely
thanks
for
giving
this
opportunity.
