From YouTube: Leeds City Council – Annual Meeting
Description
The Annual Meeting of the Council elects the Lord Mayor for the Municipal Year and determines all committee and decision making arrangements for the new Municipal Year.
A
B
It's
lovely
seeing
you
all,
but
it's
a
shame.
It's
coming
to
the
end.
We
will
be
saying
goodbye
tonight,
but
we'll
get
to
that
bit
later.
We've
got
an
agenda
and
on
the
instruction
of
the
lord
mayor,
all
members
mobile
phone,
please
could
you
make
sure
your
mobile
phones
are
off
and
mute,
but
if
you'd
like
to
keep
it
on,
the
charity
is
still
open.
B
Thank
you.
I've
got
a
few
announcements
is
to
confirm
the
following:
the
dispatch
of
the
summons
with
accompanying
report
on
wednesday,
the
12th
of
may
2021
further
papers
was
originally
identified
and
the
summons
us
to
follow
were
circulated
to
members
on
the
19th
of
may
2021.
B
B
C
Lewis,
thank
you.
Thank
you.
Lord
mayor,
I
think
me
and
councillor
cohen,
were
talking
earlier.
We
feel
like
we're
doing
stand-up
comedy
with
these
these
microphones,
but
I
can
assure
everybody
everybody
that
dan's
joke's,
probably
better
than
mine.
C
Lord
mayor,
it's
wonderful
to
see
you
in
person
and
I
know
we'll
be
getting
onto
the
vote
of
thanks,
but
I
agree
with
everything
you
said:
having
had
a
a
year's
tour
of
everybody's
back
bedrooms
and
dining
rooms
and
sitting
rooms,
and
things
like
that,
it's
wonderful
to
be
back
in
person
and
I'd
like
to
congratulate
you
on
a
on
probably
the
most
remarkable
mayoral
term.
C
Anybody
will
anybody
will
ever
have,
and
we
look
forward
to
welcoming
you
back
to
civilian
life
of
the
council,
and
if
I
continue,
I
just
like
to
thank
all
the
staff.
I've
known
work
incredibly
hard
to
enable
us
to
be
able
to
meet
as
an
entire
council
in
one
room
and
conduct
conduct
this
business
meeting.
I'd
like
to
say
thanks
to
everybody,
who's
been
involved
in
that
as
well.
I
think
it's
been
a
a
remarkable
achievement.
C
C
It's
it
it's
great
that,
despite
everything
going
on,
we've
been
able
to
welcome
you
to
this
meeting
as
well
for
people
who
who
don't
know
about
azga,
he
moved
to
lead
some
kashmir
in
the
1980s
and
went
to
school
and
college
in
leeds
before
starting
work
with
the
post
office
and
becoming
an
activist
in
the
communication
workers.
C
Union
asgar
was
first
elected
for
birmingham
richmond
hill
ward
in
2011
and
in
his
time
on,
council,
has
served
on
city
plans
on
scrutiny
and
has
also
represented
the
council
on
outside
organizations
such
as
a
market
board
aspire,
the
leads,
learning,
disability,
partnership
and
care
and
repair,
and
we
know
that
asgar
has
made
a
valuable
contribution
to
all
of
those
appointments
as
well,
and
we
also
welcome
as
lady
mayor
sabina
this
year,
and
I
know
as
garmadina
will
work
together
really
closely.
C
As
lord
mayor
and
lady
mayor
rest
of
the
city,
I
think
it's
a
huge
honor.
All
of
us
who
know
asgar
know
how
dedicated
and
committed
he
has
always
been
to
his
work.
How
much
he's
put
into
this
city
as
a
councillor
and
as
a
trade
unionist,
we
know
anybody
who's
ever
been
to
birmingham
richmond
hill
ward,
since
was
first
elected,
will
know
how
warmly
and
well-respected
residents
of
that
ward
view.
C
Asgar
he's
a
really
popular
counsellor
and
I
think
that's
testament
to
his
hard
work
and
to
what
a
a
warm
and
wonderful
person
he
is
and
how
well
he
works
in
that
ward.
It's
not
just
a
great
honour
for
asgar,
but
also
for
birmingham
richmond
hill
ward
as
well-
and
I
know
during
his
year
as
lord
mayor
asgar-
will
not
be
forgetting
his
ward
and
will
really
put
burma
tufts
and
richmond
hill
in
the
spotlight.
So
I'm
really
proud.
C
D
Thank
you,
lord
mayor,
and
I
will
save
the
my
many
warm
words
for
yourself
when
we
get
to
that
part
of
the
proceedings,
but
I
do
want
to
say
how
lovely
is
that
we
are
all
back
together
again,
and
can
I
also
echo
councillor
lewis's
thanks
to
all
of
the
officers
for
ensuring
that
we
are
indeed
able
to
meet
again
safely
and
in
person.
I
know
it's
something.
D
Many
of
us
have
been
looking
forward
to
for
many
a
day
and
it's
great
to
see
that
we
all
actually
have
trousers
and
clothes
on
our
bottom
house
this
evening.
That's
very
reassuring.
They
say
you
know
you're
getting
older
when
all
the
police
officers
seem
younger
than
you
well
this
evening.
I'm
going
to
reword
that
slightly,
you
know
you've
been
on
council
for
a
good
long
time
when
you
were
elected
at
the
same
time
as
a
lord
mayor.
D
It's
almost
ten
years
ago,
to
the
day,
when
a
beautiful
late
spring
day,
much
like
today
at
rooms,
six
and
seven
in
the
civic
hall,
saw
training
for
newly
elected
members,
and
I
cast
my
eyes
across
a
chatter
of
new
councillors,
because
that's
the
collective
noun,
a
vibrant
council
of
dawn
collins
and
a
brilliant
councillor,
neil
walsh.
Even
then
his
arms
waving
around
like
an
over
excited
windmill
and
the
statesman
like
councillor
asgar
khan,
and
here
we
are
10
years
later
and
on
behalf
of
the
leeds
conservative
group.
D
I
am
honoured
and
delighted
to
second
the
nomination
of
councillor
asgar
khan.
As
the
next
lord
mayor
of
our
amazing
city.
The
next
12
months
will
see
our
city
emerge
out
of
lockdown.
Like
all
of
us.
I
hope
and
expect
that
we
will
do
so
rather
like
a
butterfly
emerging
from
a
chrysalis
bigger
brighter
bolder.
D
These
are
going
to
be
qualities
that
will
serve
him
well
in
the
12
months
ahead.
You'll
certainly
need
the
patience
when
it
comes
to
full
council,
although
councillor
lennox,
myself
and
all
the
whips
honestly
will
be
on
our
best
behavior,
and
if
you
believe
that,
along
with
all
of
us
in
our
special
chamber
for
tonight,
I
wish
you
every
success
in
the
coming
year.
I
know
we
all
look
forward
to
welcoming
you
and
robina
our
lady
mayor
s
to
our
wards
to
our
communities
for
those
much
missed
community
events.
D
A
Thank
you,
lord
matt.
Could
I
echo
the
comments
that
have
already
been
made
in
regard
to
yourself
and
in
particular
to
the
staff
of
the
city
council,
who
not
just
this
evening,
but
have
worked
really
hard
over
the
last
18
months
to
ensure
the
council
continued
in
its
role
supporting
the
people
of
leeds
lord
matt.
A
Firstly,
I'd
like
to
emphasize
he's
good
humor
a
panel.
He
always
enters
the
meeting
with
a
smile
on
his
face
cup
of
coffee
in
his
hand
and
a
cheery
greeting
to
all
who
are
present.
I
have
to
say,
though
he
invariably
arrives
rather
late,
so
I
just
hope.
Somebody's
checked
he's
got
here
this
evening.
A
Secondly,
we
should
notice
patience.
Those
of
you
who've,
experienced
the
plans
panel.
A
city's
planned
panel
in
particular,
will
know
that
members
tend
to
speak
at
some
length
on
a
vast
range
of
subjects,
some
of
which
are
actually
relevant
to
planning,
and
those
of
us
who
sat
through
the
recent
nine-hour
debate
on
the
airport
will
recognize
the
patients
the
patients
he
displayed
at
that
meeting
will
be
invaluable
in
sharing
a
council
meeting.
A
Thirdly,
I
think
he
has
a
feel
for
the
modern
city.
As
many
of
you
know,
berman
toff's,
the
ward
he
represents
on
the
council
is
currently
in
the
process
of
gentrification
a
word.
I
never
thought
I'd
use
in
association
with
burman
toughs,
but
there's
hardly
a
month
goes
by
now
at
panel,
where
we
don't
get
an
application
for
an
artisan
coffee,
shop,
high-end
rental,
frats
or
a
craft
bakery
in
the
area,
and
all
this
has
given
asgar
a
real
feel
for
the
modern
city.
A
A
A
A
A
A
The
point
I
am
meandering
to
make
is
that
there
is
more
that
unites
us
that
sets
us
apart
at
a
time
when
some
will
separate
us
by
age
or
gender
or
race
or
sexuality
or
disability
or
class.
It
is
clear
we
are
in
reality
unified
all
members
of
planet,
human
on
a
collective
basis.
The
malibu
independent
group
is
delighted
to
support
this
nomination
and
on
a
personal
basis
as
posty
wf,
248
and
councillor.
Karen
will
understand
that
beast
part
of
the
brotherhood
and
sisterhood
of
posters.
A
E
F
Thank
you,
lord
mayor,
and
just
to
echo
the
comments
made
by
colleagues
earlier.
It's
absolutely
fantastic
to
see
people
again
in
person.
It
has
been
a
tremendous
grind
for
everybody
working
remotely
and
again
huge
thanks
from
our
group
for
the
fact
the
council
has
kept
working
not
only
kept
working
but
but
done
so
in
exemplary
fashion.
The
way
that
business
has
been
conducted
on
the
most
difficult
of
circumstances
has
been
remarkable,
so
I
think
all
staff
deserve
our
huge
praise
on
to
asgar
I've
known
asgard.
F
For
many
years
before
we
were
elected
to
the
council
when
we
used
to
attend
district
labour
party
and
in
those
days
we
kind
of
budded
up,
because
we
were
sort
of
the
new
boys
in
the
room
and
the
first
thing
I
thought
about
asgard,
and
I
hope
it
takes
this
as
a
compliment.
F
F
He's
subsequently
become
ambitious
for
his
ward,
he's
ambitious
for
the
city
of
leeds
and
I
think
there
are
great
qualities
that
have
driven
him
forward.
He's
had
some
quite
tough
gigs
in
the
council
market
champion,
never
an
easy
thing,
but
he
did
it.
He
got
stuck
in.
He
took
it
on
the
chin
and
he
added
value
and
I
think
that's
the
theme
that's
come
across
in
the
contributions
of
the
other
speakers.
F
Somebody
who's
added
value,
and
I
think-
and
our
group
thinks
that
in
this
coming
year
he
will
add
a
great
deal
of
value
to
the
vitally
important
role
of
lord
mayor.
So
with
those
comments,
we
wish
him
every
possible
success
and
are
very
pleased
to
support
his
nomination
for
this
post.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
G
Thank
you,
lord
man.
First
of
all,
first
of
all,
can
I
thank
you
over
the
last,
what
two
years
now,
or
certainly
over
the
last
15
months,
for
the
the
work
that
you've
done
in
extremely
difficult
circumstances,.
G
And
you've
shown
amazing
patience
with
the
technology
and
the
people
as
well,
and
also
can
I
thank
the
staff
who
have
arranged
this
meeting.
Certainly
two
or
three
of
us.
I've
spoken
already
and
councillor
khan
spent
most
of
yesterday
in
a
face-to-face
meeting
in
city
plans,
so
hopefully
in
the
next
week
or
two
we'll
get
used
to
being
back
together
again.
G
But
it's
it's
really
good
that
we
we
can
do
that
regarding
council
account
council
account,
as
I
said,
sits
on
city
plans
with
me
and
along
the
council
of
colleen
councillor
finnegan
and
councillor
campbell
spent
most
of
yesterday
in
this
in
this
council
chamber
at
city
plans
meeting
I
asked
him.
I
said
I
said
I
thought
you'd
be
getting
yourself
started
for
being
lord
matter,
but
oh
no.
I
thought
I'm
coming
to
meetings
and
that
sums
him
up
he's
keen.
G
He
wants
to
do
the
job
and
he's
there
for
the
right
reasons
and
also
he's
a
very,
very
nice
person
and
very
pleasant
and
has
a
very
pleasant
way,
and
I
think
that
will
help
him
in
that
capacity
of
law.
May
I
know
in
the
information
that
he
gave
us
how
proud
he
is
to
be
selected
for
this,
and
I
think
it
will.
He
will
make
a
terribly
good.
Lord
mayor,
I
think
you
will
do
a
wonderful
job
and
I
just
want,
on
behalf
of
the
green
group,
wish
to
support
the
motion.
B
H
H
H
E
H
H
H
H
He
knew
that
arriving
as
11
year
old
boy
and
missing
out
on
a
uk
primary
school
education,
I
needed
to
catch
up
on
a
lot,
so
he
spent
life
part
of
his
earnings
on
the
tuition.
For
me,
I
owe
my
father
a
huge
debt
of
gratitude
for
that,
because
without
that
extra
tuition
I
wouldn't
have
had
a
strong
platform
to
build
on
to
take
the
opportunities
I've
been
blessed
with
that
have
led
me
becoming
the
lord
mayor
of
leeds
today.
H
H
H
H
H
I
Thank
you,
lord
marin,
of
course,
may
I'd
be
the
first
one
to
welcome
you
to
your
position.
I
do
really
look
forward
to
your
your
year,
but
I
am
absolutely
delighted
to
be
standing
here
today
to
be
speaking
on
behalf
of
the
labour
group
as
we
thank
eileen
taylor,
our
outgoing
lord
mayor
for
her
record-breaking
two
years.
I
Eileen
was
always
going
to
be
a
fantastic
lord
mayor,
but
no
one
could
have
predicted
just
quite
what
her
term
of
office
would
bring
as
the
world
changed
overnight.
Eileen
found
her
role
suddenly
very
different,
but
she
rose
to
the
challenge,
supported
as
ever
by
her
husband,
pete,
the
lord
mayor's
consort.
I
I
Now
speaking
of
promoting,
this
does
lead
me
neatly
onto
leeds
united
and
don't
worry.
Councillor
lewis
has
fully
briefed
me
on
football,
and
it
does
feel
like
a
lifetime
ago
now,
but
back
in
2019
eileen
hosted
the
centenary
event
for
leeds
united
and
later
that
year
presented
the
freedom
of
the
city
to
the
don
review.
Legends
of
67
to
74.
I
eileen
has
always
championed
inclusivity,
and
this
continued
as
she
hosted
events
to
mark
the
huge
contribution
of
the
windrush
generation
to
our
city
and
to
our
country
as
the
black
lives
matter.
Movement
swept
through
the
world,
eileen
represented
our
city
with
dignity
and
encouraging
people
to
stand
in
solidarity
against
racism
and
prejudice,
and
I
know
this
is
something
that
eileen
will
continue
to
do
going
forward.
I
Eileen
presented
a
posthumous
leads
award
to
the
family
of
dr
max
portman
an
event
I
was
honoured
to
attend
myself.
Dr
portman
was
instrumental
in
pushing
for
the
availability
of
drugs,
which
prevents
the
spread
of
hiv
eileen
hosted
a
christmas
dinner
for
socially
isolated.
Older
people
attended
a
friends
of
dorothy
ball.
A
virtual
world
aids
day
event
island
really
ensured
that
all
communities
felt
welcomed
and
truly
part
of
civic
life.
I
I
I
have
to
say
my
favorite
fundraising
event
over
the
year
had
to
be
the
the
24
hour
cycle
on
millennium
square.
I
was
more
than
happy
to
do
my
shift
an
hour
on
the
exercise
bike
in
the
sun
and
then
enjoyed
receiving
photos
of
other
councillors
cycling
in
the
rain
later
that
evening.
I
So
I
think
I
did
very
well
out
of
that
and
of
course,
the
taylor's
specially
made
lord
mayor
lord
mayor
of
leeds
gin,
which
I
was
supposed
to
keep
a
bottle
secure,
but
I
think
it's
already
been
drunk
in
my
house,
so
eileen.
Thank
you.
You
have
had
a
phenomenal
two
years.
You've
done
your
community,
your
city
and
all
of
us
proud.
Thank.
D
Thank
you,
lord
man.
If
I
made
to
formally
welcome
you
to
your
to
your
role,
this
is
truly
a
night
of
first
council
of
prayer
talking
about
football.
Whoever
thought
such
a
thing
would
happen,
but
I
am
delighted
to
be
seconding.
This
vote
of
thanks
for
our
immediate
past
lord
mayor,
councillor,
eileen
taylor.
D
D
Some
would
have
just
taken
the
easy
way
out,
but
you
did
not
just
tread
water
and
hold
the
fort.
You
threw
yourself
into
virtual
events
virtual
ceremonies,
virtual
council
meetings,
which
were
something
that
are
a
whole
new
level
of
of
joy
for
all
of
us.
We've
had
to
take
part
in
and
how
you
managed
to
keep
control
of
some
of
our
virtual
council
meetings
genuinely.
I
do
not
know,
but
you
did
and
you
did
it
with
style
and
a
plum.
D
D
So,
as
my
time
is
short
on
behalf
of
my
group,
my
ward,
my
community
and
our
city,
I
want
to
say
a
huge
huge
thank
you
and
a
huge
thank
you
too,
to
your
console.
Oddly,
not
least
for
stepping
in
when
I
suggested
you
might
go
up
the
huge
cherry
picker
to
like
the
giant
menorah
on
the
steps
of
the
town
hall.
I
will
never
forget
your
face
when
you
glassed
up
said
no.
No,
no,
on
behalf
of
all
of
us
thank.
H
J
Thank
you,
lord
mayor,
and
please
accept
my
congratulations
in
your
new
role
and
I
hope
you
have
a
fantastic
year
just
as
councillor
taylor
has
had
and
the
year
before.
That
too,
as
usually
happens
in
these
circumstances,
the
people
that
go
first
get
to
give
you
the
most
interesting
facts
and
of
course,
councillor
cohen
always
gives
the
jokes
that
you
wanted
to
deliver
as
well.
So
I
I'll
concentrate
perhaps
on
the
personality
that
is
behind
our
outgoing
lord
mayor
councillor.
J
J
I
noticed
she's
putting
her
finger
to
her
lips,
but
all
I
can
say
is
this
is
a
very
determined
woman
and
if
she
wants
to
achieve
a
goal,
she
will
make
sure
it
is
set
and
in
choosing
a
charity
such
as
sarsville
for
her
year,
which
turned
out
into
two.
It
was
something
which
is
quite
brave
because
it's
a
very
serious
subject
matter
and
it
could
have
meant
that
her
year
in
office
was
one
which
was
particularly
earnest.
J
However,
thanks
to
the
effervescent
personality
that
council
taylor
has
the
year
that
she
had
of
her
own
at
the
very
beginning
was
imbued
with
hope,
and
that
is
what
was
behind
the
fundraising
for
that
organization,
because
it
brings
hope
to
some
very
vulnerable
women
and
you
have
put
it
in
a
whole
different
level
of
sustainability.
Through
your
help
this
year,
lord
mayor
and
you
should
be
congratulated
for
that
leadership.
J
On
a
lighter
note,
thanks
to
the
lockdown,
none
of
us
have
seen
very
much
of
the
lord
mayor.
You
have
sustained
a
fantastic
level
of
endurance
for
not
only
doing
the
double
the
amount
of
council
meetings
which
are
particularly
boring
in
their
normal
basis,
but
in
a
virtual
reality,
that's
times
10
I
I
would
suggest
so.
I
think
you
you've
earned
your
break.
J
Unfortunately,
lord
mayor,
I
will
not
be
able
to
join
you,
as
we
had
hoped,
poolside
at
the
gym,
which
was
our
usual
spot
to
catch
up
on
the
gossip
of
the
day
in
the
council,
because,
unfortunately
I
haven't
renewed
my
membership,
but
I
look
forward
to
having
a
socially
distanced
coffee
with
you
and
rekindle
those
common
relationships
that
that
we
have,
which
are
based
on
the
fact
that
there
is
more
that
unites
us
and
divides
us,
as
has
been
mentioned
here
tonight,
and
that
each
person
who
takes
office
is
a
very
ordinary
person,
but
through
taking
up
that
office,
achieves
really
very
extraordinary
things
and
comes
out
of
it.
K
Thank
you,
my
lord
mayor,
and
congratulations
on
your
appointment.
K
The
difference
in
the
two
years
is
quite
staggering,
obviously,
the
first
year
very
much
a
normal
year
full
of
ceremony
and
events
and
of
those
events.
We
welcomed
you
on
a
few
occasions
to
morley.
K
One
of
those
occasions
was
to
launch
the
morley
arts
festival
at
the
white
rose
centre
and
then
on
another
occasion
with
morley
rotary,
whereby
councillor
kidja
offers
her
special
thanks
for
your
attendance
at
that
event
year,
two
obviously
very
much
different,
and
I
fully
appreciate
and
sympathize
as
well
with
the
stress
of
chairing
a
meeting
whereby
some
and
maybe
all
of
us
were
thrown,
kicking
and
screaming
into
virtual
meetings.
K
I
I'm
sure
everybody
else
will
appreciate
and
remember
the
first
virtual
meeting,
I
think,
was
going
rapidly
pear-shaped
and
downhill
behind
the
scenes.
The
whips
and
officers
frantically
trying
to
figure
out.
What
do
we
do?
Do
we
end
it?
Do
we
carry
on?
What
do
we
do?
K
It
was
councillor
taylor
that
soldiered
on
got
it
all
back
online
and
we
had
a
very
successful
first
virtual
meeting
and
a
lot
of
lessons
learned,
but
certainly
without
councillor
taylor
at
the
helm.
Who
knows
what
would
have
happened
at
that
first
meeting
looking
forward,
I
do
hope
that
you're
going
to
be
taking
advantage
with
orderly
at
the
easing
of
lockdown
and
spending
some
valuable
time
together
from
everybody
at
morley.
A
huge
thank.
F
F
Moving
on
to
eileen
colleagues
have
probably
noticed
in
council,
I
never
use
notes.
I
never
use
pre-prepared
scripts
because
I
think
when
you've
been
here
a
while,
you
know
you
speak
with
experience.
You
might
even
speak,
sometimes
not
me
so
often
with
knowledge,
but
on
this
occasion
I'm
going
to
speak
entirely
from
the
heart,
because
I
feel
in
the
presence
of
a
wonderful,
wonderful
woman
who
has
offered
tremendous
value
to
this
city
over
two
years
and
I
think,
before
eileen
became
lord
mayor.
F
She
for
many
years
demonstrated
the
qualities
that
you
knew
would
make
an
exceptional
lord
mayor,
fairness,
honesty,
kindness
and
somebody.
Who's
always
had
a
very
big
heart,
and
I
think
that
takes
you
a
long
way
in
life,
and
it's
taken
you
to
the
top
office
of
our
great
city
for
two
years.
Magnificent
achievement.
F
There's
two
particular
areas.
I'd
like
to
just
briefly
focus
on.
I
think
the
first
one
obviously
has
been
the
year
that
we've
been
in.
I
think
it's
fair
to
say
at
the
beginning
of
this
pandemic.
People
were
scared,
we
didn't
know
where
we
were
going
to
be
going.
We
didn't
know
what
the
pandemic
would
look
like
on
the
ground.
F
F
It
hasn't
even
been
so
much
about
the
money's
raised
it's
about
raising
and
lifting
the
lid
on
a
subject
that
has
too
long
gone
as
a
taboo
subject.
So
for
all
those
reasons,
thank
you.
I
always
you
chat
with
former
lord
mayors
and
a
few
have
said
you
know
after
one
year
you
are
on
your
knees.
F
F
L
Some
from
my
ward
went
to
this,
and
when
I
saw
them
they
couldn't
sing
ireland's
praises
high
enough.
They
thought
she
was
fantastic
and
I
had
to
agree
with
them.
Of
course,
I
am
sure
she
will
have
raised
a
decent
amount
for
her
chosen
charities,
salesville
support
after
rape
and
sexual
violence,
and
I
have
to
tell
you
that
my
donation
will
be
with
you
shortly.
L
B
Secondly,
I
don't
need
facebook
memories
because
you
just
bring
it
all
back.
I
didn't
realize
I
was
such
a
super
woman
over
the
two
years
and
anne.
I
am
not
having
a
rest.
Our
leader
has
given
me
a
portfolio
and
would
you
believe,
eight
o'clock
this
morning
I
was
on
it,
so
there
you
go.
However,
I'll
start
my
speech.
Firstly,
I
would
like
to
congratulate
councillor
khan
and
our
to
be
our
lord
mayor
and
also
mrs
khan.
I
wish
you
bought
all
the
best
in
your
new
role.
I
know
you're
going
to
be
amazing.
B
However,
where
do
I
start?
I
just
don't
know
where
to
start,
but
we
always
have
to
start
and
we
have
to
finish,
but
what
I'm
going
to
do
tonight.
So
I'm
not
going
to
tell
you
where
I've
been,
what
I've
eaten
and
so
on,
and
so
on.
I'm
just
going
to
condense
it
down
in
my
style
in
my
jamaican
style
yeah
I
was
only
supposed
to
spend
a
year
like
every
other
one.
B
B
B
B
B
B
B
B
B
I
have
asked
several
times
and
most
recently
we
are
who's
your
favorite
heroes.
I
can
tell
you
now:
I
haven't
got
a
lot.
I
have
a
lot
of
favorites,
but
there
isn't
one
my
favorite
from
barbara
taylor,
bradford
royalty,
rob
sleepers,
the
elderlies,
the
young
people,
even
the
cherry
picker,
you
name
it
of
them.
They
were
all
special
and
unique
because
we're
all
at
the
same
level.
B
However,
they
won't
stand
out
and
will
make
me
smile
whatever
you
do,
there's
always
something
stand
out
in
front
of
you.
So
during
the
pandemic,
before
the
pandemic
surrey,
I
went
to
visit
the
primary
schools
questioning
answers
with
young
people,
and
this
is
what
made
me
stand
out
and
I'll
take
everything
away.
But
I'll
always
remember
this
and,
as
you
know,
lord
mayor
doesn't
talk
politics,
so
this
young
person
was
asking
me
about
the
prime
minister
in
politics.
I
tried
to
side
track
this
person,
so
I
reversed
the
question
back
to
m.
B
B
They
talk
rubbish
and
a
10
year
old
daughter,
if
mark
remembered
that
I
could
not
keep
a
straight
face,
but
for
a
10
11
year
old
to
say
something
like
that.
I
will
take
that
back.
I
could
not
keep
a
straight
fix.
There
are
so
many
of
these
stories,
like
the
young
people
when
they
visited
me
in
my
office.
We
had
such
a
great
time
playing.
I
didn't
see
it
was
very
hard
getting
rid
of
some
of
them.
They
just
didn't
want
to
leave
for
what
reason
I
don't
know.
B
B
B
I
don't
know
mark
protected
me
from
the
minute
I
entered
into
that
car
to
the
venue
and
to
the
minute.
He
takes
me
out
that
car
back
from
the
venue
ma
has
been
amazing
over
my
two
years
and
I'm
really
sad
that
my
divorce
paper
signed
tonight
over
the
years
I
just
used
to
pop
in
and
out
the
lord
mayor's
office,
just
like
any
other
counselors,
not
realizing
how
this
team
worked
now.
I
know
firsthand
the
tideless
house
that
the
office
staff
do
for
our
city
tonight
for
an
example
all
this
work.
B
B
I
definitely
could
not
have
done
the
job
I've
done
without
this
team,
especially
during
the
pandemic.
When
everything
moved
online
look
back,
we
had
some
high
times
and
low
times,
but
the
team
make
it
high
at
all
time
so
tonight
I
would
like
to
thank
erica
mark
jill,
bernadette
charlotte,
not
forgetting
andy
and
kevin.
B
We
become
the
three
or
in
full
council,
just
the
three
of
us
when
you
all
sit
at
home,
so
catherine
tonight.
I
just
want
to
thank
you
for
your
expertise,
your
guidance
and
help
me
through
my
journey.
My
attendance
wouldn't
would
not
have
been
the
same
without
my
chosen.
Charity
support
after
rape
and
sexual
violence,
their
dedication
to
the
rape
crisis
center
for
all
women
and
girls
in
leeds
who
have
been
affected
by
rape
and
sexual
violence.
Attract
me.
B
B
B
B
So
they've
got
over
the
amounts
and
believe
me
they
have
got
recognition
since
maturity
been
broadcast.
So
can
I
say
special
thanks
to
the
lord,
my
charity,
fundraiser
committee,
and
to
the
colleagues
council
officers,
business,
charities,
friends
and
family
for
all
their
hard
work,
contribution
and
donation
to
my
charity.
B
B
Us
now
to
my
concert,
pete
peter's
been
amazing.
He
has
been
with
me
from
day
one
ever
since
I've
got
into
politics
is
always
there
by
my
side,
whenever
I
mention
I
should
I
say,
did
mention
that
I
was
going
out
campaigning
whatever
he's
doing
it
stopped
and
he's
out
with
me.
So
when
he
started
his
role
as
my
concert
he
was
fully
trained.
B
Remember
I
told
you
back
in
my
making
2019
that
he
was
already
aware
of
his
10
steps.
He
did
not.
Let
me
down
peter
has
done
absolutely
a
brilliant
job.
Whenever
p
is
not
out
and
about
with
me
he's
at
home,
whenever
I
got
back
home
he
ensure
that
my
meal
is
ready,
not
just
my
meal.
It
will
clean
wash
iron,
you
name
it.
B
B
B
B
Thank
you
to
chapel
alliton
branch,
labour
branch
for
having
faith
in
me
and
selecting
me
to
represent
them
and
the
council
a
big
thank
you
to
the
voters
without
them
going
out
over
the
years
in
their
thousand
to
vote.
For
me,
I
would
not
have
had
this
opportunity,
thanks
to
my
two
colleagues,
jane
and
muhammad,
who
have
been
by
my
side
from
their
own.
B
Thanks,
also
to
my
two
sisters
in
the
chamber,
who
have
been
by
my
side
from
day
one
from
day
one
I've
chosen
to
be
chari
to
be
lord.
There
they
stick
with
me.
I
just
want
to
thank
them.
They
know
who
they
are
for
their
spirits,
the
laughters,
the
flowers,
the
wine,
the
late
night
trap
during
the
pandemic.
You
said
I
did
it
without
these
two.
Ladies,
I
don't
think
I
could
do
it,
but
they
know
who
they
are.
B
B
B
I
hope
that
each
and
every
one
just
respect
each
other
and
a
dream
will
come
true,
because
we
are
one
we
are
equal
and
I
think
that's
what
get
me
and
give
me
the
strength.
I
don't
look
after
any
one
difference,
I
look
up
a
face
and
an
individual
and
finally
thank
you
all
for
believing
me
and
thank
you
and
have
a
great.
