This week we had a little vote for our very first proposal which we initiated so we could get a feeling about what we should think about when setting up the funding-process.
There is a bit of a confusion in the beginning, but the proposals are truly amazing and I think that everyone is going to be excited about this no matter who takes home the 1000 Ada reward!

Right
so
once
the
waste
is
so
essentially
one
problem
with
slaughter
waste,
is
it
takes
much
longer
time
to
to
decay
in
a
landfill,
then
we'll
say
vegetable,
waste
or
paper
or
cardboard,
or
something
well,
not
so
much
cardboard,
but
paper
and
vegetable
decay
is
faster.
Definitely,
vegetable
decay
is
faster
paper
depending
on
what
it
is,
but
animal
waste
is
a
problematic
area
because
it
attracts
flies
and
stuff
like
that,
as
well.

So,
instead
of
that
happening,
we
are
blocking
a
certain
amount
of
stuff
from
going
into
the
landfill
and,
secondly,
converting
that
into
a
useful
product.
And
thirdly,
taking
that
useful
product
and
it
can
be
a
commercial
product
or
it
can
be
a
charity
product
like
giving
it
to
the
street
dogs
and
animal
shelters
and
stuff
like
that.
So
the
plan
here
would
be,
depending
on
what
the
funding
is,
would
be
to
go
with
increasing
the
quantity
of
times
in
which
we
are
doing
this.

But
since
it's
a
thousand
nader,
the
the
whole
cost
of
most
of
the
cost
is
going
to
go
to
purchase
of
the
cookers.
So
the
cookers
will
be
what
is
used
to
cook
to
make
to
make
the
food.
So
when
you
increase,
we
are
looking
at
about
150
to
200
kilos
of
waste
per
day
is
what
I
collect,
so
that
would
need
to
be
cooked.

need
way
more
cookers
than
what
I
have
at
the
moment,
and
that
is
where
the
funding
would
come
in
so
that
as
well
as
specialized
containers
to
take
it
and
transport
it
in
before
distribution,
because
it's
not
that
it
can
be
cooked
and
taken
loose
and
given
you
have
to
put
into
boxes
and
carry
those
boxes
inside
a
vehicle
so
that
it
doesn't
topple
over.
So
it
can't
be
just
left.
You
know
in
the
one
kilo
container
one
kilo
containers
have
to
be
kept
in
like
a
a
lockable
box
of
sorts.

that
also
would
need
some
funding
so
anyway,
the
this
is
the
gist
of
the
proposal
for
the
slaughter
waste
and
the
benefits,
as
I
said,
were,
prevention
of
waste
getting
into
the
landfill
and
thereby
we
are
kind
of
able
to
apply
for
carbon
credits
when
the
volume
becomes
large
enough,
also
that
being
put
into
a
valuable
product
and
thirdly,
street
animals
getting
fed.
So
I
also
posted
some
pictures
that
I
had
taken
of
some
some
of
the
beneficiaries
of
the
stuff.

The
solar
cookers
will
each
be
about
200
hundred
dollars
each
because
that's
the
that's
a
large
parabolic
cooker,
and
that
is
not
including
the
import
costs
and
duties,
because
these
are
not
things
that
are
manufactured
here,
but
they
are
manufactured
either
in
india,
depending
on
where
you
get
it.
It's
either
from
india
or
from
china.

some
reason
this
doesn't
go
through,
let's
talk
about
that,
and
maybe
the
thing
that
I'm
thinking
about
is,
if
you're
purchasing
an
item
that
uses
kerosene
eventually,
that
item
will
be
hopefully
obsolete,

if
we
could
keep
our
impact
even
down
better
and
and
focus
on
purchasing
a
better
product
ahead
of
time,
we
would
save
on
buying
something
that
just
fixes
it
for
now.
That's
just
my
opinion,
though,.

downside
of
that
is
this
whole
thing

mean,
even
if
you
look
at
buying
the
solar
cookers,
the
solar
cooker
funding
would
only
come
like
if
I
put
it
in
fun
date.
If
you
get
funded,
it's
only

come,
the
funding
might
come,
maybe
in
april
or
whatever,
then
the
importing
will
be
in
june
or
july,
so
in
the
meanwhile.

This
cooking
process
still
goes
on
because
we
are
still
feeding
the
street
street
dogs
with
the
cookers
that
we
already
have,
but
of
course
that
can't
accommodate
the
volumes
that
we
want
to
do.
So
that
is
the
reason
why
we
are
getting
the
quantity
of
10
cookers,
so
the
10
cookers
will
cover
a
portion
of
the
ada
and
the
balance
will
be
used
to
buy
the
containers.

Transportation
costs
both
from
the
slaughterhouse
to
the
cooking
site
and
from
the
cooking
site
into
the
distribution
locations,
so
that
is
both
on
the
street
as
well
as
particular
animal
shelters
that
we
want
to
do
which
we
actually
haven't
done

far,
because
the
volumes
are
not
great
enough
to
justify
these
are
the
places
outside
of
columbus.

have
to
transport
them
to
those
locations

that

future
donation
cycles

transform.
Littlefish
will
be
a
place
where

place
a
lot
of
any
activist
list
and
then
anyone

come

donate
whenever

certain
project.

young
people
collaborating

field

technology

as

climate

issues,

enhance

skills

living

harmony
with
nature,
by
promoting
resilience
for
the
causes
of
climate
change
in
kojale
area.

it's
a
large
project.

impact

but
there
are
two
basic
specific
outcomes
that
you
would
like
to
achieve.

them
is
sustainable
land

management.

we
will

restaurants
that
give
randomly
so
there
will
be
more
doable
if
we
have
the
funding,
so
the
funding
itself
would
go
for
running
costs
as
well
as
from
this
particular
funding.

I'm
talking
about
it
will
go
for
running
costs
of
doing
the
distribution
to
more
locations
as
well
as
collecting
from
more
restaurants.

the
people
will
get
something
which
they
can
eat
and
otherwise
they
possibly
would
be
not
eating

eating
something
very,
very
basic.

often
these
foods
will
even
have
things
like
you

rice
and
curry,
and

something
substantial

pastries

pasta
or
you
know,
or
even
things.
Sometimes
they
have
chicken,
and
you

meats
and
stuff
that
gets
tossed.
So
all
these
things
are
not
never
going
to
be
things
that
these
people
can
have
on
a
regular
basis.

we
have
currently
established
certain
children's
homes
that
are
willing
to
take
every
time

as
the
funding
increases,
because
we
want
to
put
this

funding

as
the
funding

homes
in
colombo,
city
alone,
so
none
of

mean
all
of
those
cannot
be
served.

we
