Community Engineering Hangouts.

The aim of these hangouts is to update the community on all our progress and demo some new tools and features. For this live stream we have the following agenda.

1. News and updates from the Community Engineering team,
2. Real world examples of how to use the new BulkAPI,
4. Live Q&A section,

During this hangout we will be showing you some of the powerful new BulkAPI capabilities and hopefully inspiring you to include these in your projects.

Using the postman examples https://github.com/nuzil/magento-postman we will step through how to get up and running with the BulkAPI.

Feel free to join in, comment and ask questions. The aim of these hangouts is to provide a platform for Magento to give the community regular updates but also for the community to give feedback to Magento.

Discussion of the Key Value framework and performance tests

First grooming of async import functionality with good discussion around deadlocks and scalability

Discussed possibilities on elimination of excessive queries to database during asynchronous request processing which will go to the backlog of the project

Weekly community standup for Bulk API project

Walk through open pull requests by @nuzil:
- backport of Bulk and Async APIs to Magento 2.2. Having that Mganeto 2.2 has queues support in EE only, it will be released as an EE extension
- New feature: new API to search for bulk requests history by status and timestamp
- New feature: support of overriding on the bulk API endpoints
- bugfix: support of the topic schema declaration as a method signature
