Community Engineering Hangouts.
The aim of these hangouts is to update the community on all our progress and demo some new tools and features. For this live stream we have the following agenda.
1. News and updates from the Community Engineering team,
2. An introduction into the new Adobe Stock project,
4. Live Q&A section,
During this hangout we will be showing you some of the progress and vision of the Adobe Stock integration project. We will also highlight how you can get involved in the project.

things

engineering

Magento

the
last
month
we
like
to
highlight
it.

really
good
to
see
from
my
side
how,
how
much
can
be
kind
of
not
only
almost
already
achieve
and
in
the
two
weeks,
but
also
to
see
kind
of
the
vision
of
where
we're
going
and
what
we
want
to
do.
I
thought
might,
what
might
be
a
good
place
to
start
is
with
Chris
actually
because
Chris.
This
was
your.

Just
for
whatever
reasons
has
just
never
been
part
of
the
DNA
of
what
we
do
now
they
do.
Our
developers
do
pull
an
open-source
projects.
You
know
to
use
in
their
work,
but
the
resulting
work
that
they
create
has
never
been.
You

the
most
part
not
out
in
the
public,
and
you
know,
I
mean
a
lot
of
stuff.

imagine
Photoshop
not
going
to
be
made
open
source,
but
but
yeah
so
I
wasn't
sure
what
to
expect
when
I,
when
I
got
here
when
I
got
to
the
event
and
I
was
really
impressed
by
the
group.
I
really
liked
the
the
kind
of
the
camaraderie
and
that
everybody
has
that
people
seem
to
be
happy
to
see
each
other
and
greet
each
other
like
their
old
friends
and
I
thought
that
was
really
great
and
I
would
like
to
definitely
like
to
see
more
of
that
as
a
whole
within
Adobe.

far
as
this
project
goes
just
just
a
little
background,
we
weren't
sure
exactly
how
this
was
going
to
happen
and
there
was
some
talk
and
we
might
still
the
stock
engineering
team
might
still
get
involved
in
it.
If
we
want
to
do
something
more
comprehensive
by,
but
you
know
we're
we're
really
I'm
excited
that
we
were
able
to
that.
You
guys
were
able
to
design
something
that
could
be
contributed
to
and
there's
you
know
a
lot
more
pieces.

add
on
to
it

the
community
is
interested

think
it's
a
great
starter
project,
mainly
I
work
with
partners
and
customers
who
are
building
all
these
integrations
themselves
and
so
I
advise
them,

don't
really
get

much
hands-on,

this
is
I'm.

really
want
to
contribute
to
it.

I'm
still
struggling
to
get
a
stable
environment
for
Magento
running,
but
I
do
have
it
running
it's
not
nearly
as
fast
as
Sergey,
so
I
don't
know
what
he
did,
because
mine
might
takes
about
30
seconds
longer
for
every
page
refresh
than
his
does
and
yeah.
So
that's

about
it,
but
as
far
as
Adobe
stock
goes
yeah,
but
the
you

integrating
with
the
images
I
think
is
a
great
first
step
and
I'm
not
sure
how
much
more
Magento
customers
will
need.

idea.

you
guys
add
it
to
your
storefront,
the
only
dealing

there
are
some
challenges
like
the

content
from
Adobe
stock
is
meant
to
be

serve

originals.

master
assets,
not
so
much
like
renditions,
so
I
would
think
it
would
be
natural
for

perhaps

know
enough
about
Magento.

to
work
with
this
other
group
at
Adobe
scene

what
they
did,
they
created,
they
would
ingest
assets
and
then
give
you
a
URL
that
you
could
just
put
right
into
your
store
or
whatever
so
I
could

see.

you

something
that
we'd
want
to
explore.

next

requests
has
been
mainly
for
the

repo

Magento
2,

hard,

they

difficult
or
the
ones

career

want

integrate
with
one
of
our
authentication
methods
that
actually
identifies
the
user
typically
through

your
cases,

most
of
your
customer
base
would
probably
be
through
our
Olaf
integration
so,
where
the
users
get
redirected
to
the
Adobe
website,
they
sign
in
some
secrets
are
exchanged.
It
sends
back
some
information
to
to
the
host
application
and
then
you're
logged
in
for
a
certain
amount
of
time.

once
you
get
through
that
barrier,
it
opens
up
a
lot
of
other
services
that
you
could
access
at
Adobe,
since
Adobe
most
products
have
have
a
common
authentication,
not
all
products,
we're
still
we're
still
struggling
to
keep
up
with

pace
of
our
acquisitions.
So
that's
why
Magento
and
a
lot
of
our
other
things
are
not
on
a
common
Adobe
login
yet
but
one
day
but
yeah
that
I
would
say
that
once
you
solve
the
authentication
thing,
then
you
can
access
a
lot
of
other
services
as
well,
not
just
stuck
yeah.

at
the
github
repository
we
do
have
a
couple
of
dashboards,
so
one
dashboard
is
for
managing
the
pull
requests
and
another
dashboard
contains
backlog
contains
the
tasks
that
are
ready
for
development
and,
as
you
can
see,
we
also
have
lots
of
good
first
issues.
Get
first
issue
is
the
tasks
that
can
be
done
quite
fast
and
doesn't
require
too
much
work
or
doesn't
require
some
extra
ordinal
or
general
skills.

add

source
code

core

distribute

decide

models

now,
but
we
have
two
options
as
I
said
before,
so
we
have
first
option
just
to
add
this
model
through
the
magenta
color,
and
the
second
mode
option
distribute
this
extension
through
the
marketplace
like
separate
extensions
and
every
merchant
can

the
start
from
the
marketplace

easiest
way

install
