From YouTube: Import/Export Weekly call 12th Jan 2018
Description
Recording of the import/export weekly call from the 12th of January 2018.
This project focuses on the https://github.com/magento-engcom/import-export-improvements repository with the aim to provide some key bug fixes in the 2.3 release of Magento 2.
If you would like to get involved in the project please see the github issues or contact the Magento Community Engineering team for more information.
A
Okay
cool,
so
we've
done
some
good
stuff
this
week,
I
think,
as
you
can
see,
I'm
sharing
the
phase
one
port,
and
this
week
we
have
managed
to
complete
three
of
the
tasks.
So
the
first
one
yeah
the
first
one.
There
was
a
pull
request
in
place
which
is
now
merged
which
fixes
the
order
of
the
custom
options.
The
problem
here
was
when
you're
exporting
they
were
in
one
order,
but
when
you
were
importing,
they
came
in
this
another,
so
this
fix
will
make
sure
they're
exported
in
the
same
water
is
expected
for
import.
A
B
B
B
A
Want
to
back
porta
to
two
and
feel
free
just
provide
a
pull
request
and
we
can
process
them
the
same
way
just
make
sure
to
add
the
either
to
make
the
pull
request
through
this
repository
or
add
the
label,
if
you
make
it
through
the
main
repository
just
so,
we
can
track
that.
It's
an
import/export
thing.
Okay,.
A
B
A
Be
the
release
after
that,
so
I
think
we
have
snap
or
yeah
exactly
so
we
have
some
time
on
that
one
I
think
cool.
Then
the
third
issue
was
one
that
was
not
able
to
be
reproduced
on
2/3.
So
I
think
this
was
an
issue
that
was
highlighted
in
an
older
version.
Maybe
two
zero,
two
one,
so
we
were
not
able
to
reproduce
it
either
either
Umar
I
think
it
was
how
you
pronounce
it.
Is
that
correct?
Oh
yeah,.
C
C
A
A
So
hopefully
this
will
be
sorted
out
at
some
point
in
the
next
week,
which
would
be
nice,
andr
I'm,
not
entirely
sure
what
is
the
status
at
the
MoMA
with
the
importing
Andrey
important
of
products,
but
I
know
she
was
going
to
investigate
that
and
get
back
to
us.
So
I
will
push
and
see
how
far
she's
got
with
this
also
early
next
week
as
well.
So
I'll
chase
these
two
up
and
see
how
far
they've
come.
B
A
Discussed
that
in
the
last
week's
meeting,
so
we
have
I
believe
it
should
have
been
updated
with
that
information.
Otherwise,
let's
see
oh
no,
ok,
he's
not
updating
the
information,
and
basically
the
plan
is
that
we
will,
though
we
will
not
change
the
SKUs
and
not
a
plenum,
because,
like
you,
you
were
saying
in
your
comment:
these
will
come
the
chances
are.
These
will
come
from
an
SI
p
on
ERP
system,
and
so
we
shouldn't
edit
them
and
if
there
is
a
problem,
we've
just
returned
the
error
to
the
user.
A
B
A
B
A
B
A
The
plan
is
earlier,
I
believe
we
have
a
call
on
either
Monday
or
Tuesday
and
we'll
go
through
at
that
point
to
see
how
far
is
God
see
if
I
can
help
them
with
anything,
but
once
the
poor
request
is
available,
we
will
send
it
to
the
group
so
that
we
can
get
a
few
people
to
review
it
at
that
point.
Okay,
cool-
and
that
goes
for
both
the
issues
here.
Hopefully
next
week,
we'll
have
pull
requests
for
these
yeah.
A
Well,
I,
pull
requests
ready
for
these
ones,
which
would
be
I,
think
good
progress
to
have
a
couple
of
things.
Fixed
yeah
have
a
couple
of
things
fixed
every
week
with
regards
to
what
is
next,
we
still
have
this
not
supporting
empty
roads.
I've
talked
with
Eugene
about
this
and
he
is
going
to
investigate
this
a
bit
more
and
try
and
come
up
with
a
solution.
At
least
that
might
work.
He
might
not
come
up
with
the
final
solution,
but
he'll
come
up
with
an
option
of
what
to
do
so.
A
B
A
So
I
think
this
one
might
be
helpful.
So
if
you're
looking
for
something
to
do
in
the
coming
week
for
the
import/export,
maybe
drop
Eugene
a
message
and
just
ask
him:
if
you
can
help
out,
he
might
be
able
to
set
up
a
call,
I,
don't
know
Monday
or
Tuesday,
and
you
can
talk
through
options
then,
and
that
might
be
possible
here.
Yeah.
B
C
A
A
A
A
A
A
So
if
you
would
like
to
have
that
peter
I'd
recommend
reaching
out
to
Eugene
specifically
about
the
empty
pockets,
okay,
okay,
great,
then
I-
guess
that's
it
from
today
just
to
say
that
all
our
pull
requests
are
being
processed
directly
into
the
two
to
three
branch.
So,
even
if
you
make
the
pull
request
of
this
repository,
they
will
end
up
in
the
core
2.3
branch
and
straightaway
so
we're
not
unlike
MSI,
because
these
are
bug
fixes
we're
not
waiting
to
do
kind
of
one
release.
A
B
A
A
A
This
new
repository
yeah
yeah,
yeah
yeah-
we
have
we
have
quite
a
few,
but
from
what
I've
seen
a
couple
of
them
have
been
duplicates
that
I've
seen
already
or
something
that's
already
fixed,
so
I
will
be
processing
through
those
and
I
reckon
yeah.
I
reckon
we've
got
some
good
progress
this
week
and
if
we
can
get
a
couple
of
these
of
the
four
that
are
currently
in
development
sorted
this
week
and
that's
particularly
good
just
a
reminder.
B
A
We
have
the
whole
of
this
month
and
the
whole
of
February
is
well
to
sort
out
these
issues.
42.3,
okay,
I,
think.
Realistically,
we
can
definitely
sort
through
all
the
phase
one
and
a
few
of
the
phase
two
issues,
but
at
the
moment
I'm
just
wanting
to
focus
on
phase
one
at
the
moment
and
if
you
can
get
anything
else
in
them,
that's
a
benefit.
B
B
A
B
A
I
understand
from
that
point
of
view,
I
had
a
few
people
message
to
say
they
couldn't
make
it.
So
that's
okay
for
me,
but
yeah.
We
can
always
reassess
maybe
next
week.
If
again
we
have
a
low
turnout.
We
can
reassess
the
timing,
yeah
mm-hmm.
My
only
concern
is
I.
Don't
want
it
to
clash
with
the
msi,
which
is
at
five
o'clock
and
also
uma
and
his
the
people
involved
from
his
team,
because
they're
based
in
Pakistan,
it's
I,
think
it's
Pakistan
correct,
which
is
about
four
or
five
hours
later
than
Europe
holy
is.
A
Yeah
so,
but
my
plan
is
to
try
and
find
something
that
works
for
most
people,
and
if
there
is
one
person
or
a
couple
of
people
that
can't
make
it
I
would
happily
do
a
follow-up
with
say
just
myself
and
them
to
get
an
update.
Also
after
I
have
recorded
both
this
and
the
first
meeting
and
they
will
be
uploaded
once
we
sort
out
our
own
we're
gonna
set
up
a
YouTube
channel
for
the
community
engineering
team,
where
we
can
upload
these
sort
of
updates
and
meetings.
A
C
A
A
I
appreciate
that
what
I
would
do
is
I
will
just
double-check,
with
everyone
again
and
to
see.
Hopefully
it
was
just
a
case
of
people
who
had
had
something
come
up.
I
would
like
to
keep
it
a
reasonable
time
for
you
if
possible.
Oh
yeah,
okay,
thank
you
all
right.
Well,
thank
you
guys
very
much
for
joining
and
yeah
good
luck,
and
if
there
is
anything
you
need
from
me,
yeah
feel
free
to
reach
out
on
slack
and
I
will
do
my
best
to
help
out.
Okay,
all
right,
don't.
