From YouTube: PWA Community Update May 17, 2019
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right,
good
morning,
good
afternoon,
good
evening
early
evening,
welcome
another
exciting
community
update,
so
happy
Friday,
and
we
have
a
really
light
like
meeting
agenda
today.
Given
imagine
all
week,
as
you
can
tell
probably
from
the
participants
on
the
line.
Half
the
team
I
think
is
out.
Just
didn't
imagine
recovery.
B
But
that
could
be
something
to
change
and,
of
course,
I
have
a
PR
open
and
you
guys
can
check
it
out
if
you
want
12:18
and
it
has
a
I
love
feedback
on
on
the
code.
Here,
it's
pretty
heavy
PR,
but
so
the
toast
I
added
right
now
are
an
info
warning
and
error
status,
toast
they
are
dismissible
or
they're,
not
dismissible.
You
can
duplicate,
as
if,
like
you
can
omit
toast
multiple
times
and
the
order
shouldn't
change.
B
So
it's
kind
of
hard
for
me
to
demo
all
that,
but
basically
what
this,
what
you
see
here
is
I've
removed
the
timeout.
So,
basically,
they're
not
going
to
go
away
automatically,
but
if
I
have
it
in
there,
they
would
timeout
automatically,
even
if
they're
dismissible.
So
what
happens
is
a
component
somewhere
will
use
the
toast
actions
and
it
will
so.
B
These
are
hooks
that
we
don't
win
it
in
paragraph
and
you
can
just
any
of
your
functional
components
can
just
call
that
toast
with
some
props,
that
it
expects
and
and
it
will
calculate
whether
or
not
it's
like
identical
toast.
So,
for
example,
if
you
have
an
error,
that's
repeating
over
and
over,
it
would
only
show
one
toast,
rather
than
rather
than
like,
fill
up
the
screen,
but
there's
a
small
animation
that
happens
too.
B
So
if
you
notice
there's
like
a
blink
that
kind
of
happens
when
the
toast
appears
or
if
it
duplicates
it'll
blink
again.
So
this
duplicate,
this
toast
is
emitted
three
times
and
these
are
only
emitted
once
so.
If
you
watch
that
again,
I
don't
know
if,
on
the
screen,
it's
banned
with
dessert
to
show
the
blinking,
but
it
blinked
once
I'm
on
Edition,
then
it
blinks
twice-
and
these
are
in
order
by
time
too,
which
is
kind
of
cool.
B
So,
like
this
toast
was
emitted
first,
that
these
were
emitted
and
that
duplicate
was
emitted
but
kind
of
like
a
user
experience
thing,
we
didn't
want
the
duplicate
toasts
on
the
second
omission
to
pop
to
the
bottom,
so
there's
some
complex
code
and
there
this
that
I
had
to
do
to
make
react,
plain
ice
and
re-render
a
component
and
that's
retrieving
the
CSS
animation.
So
that
was
a
lot
of
fun.
I
can
pop
over
to
the
code,
real
quick.
B
So
in
the
root
there
is
a
context
provider
that
gives
access
to
to
the
store
or
the
state
of
the
toes
is
just
a
list
of
toasts
that
have
been
admitted.
That's
what
the
toast
container
component
does.
So
the
toast
container
component
just
grabs
that
list
of
toasts
from
from
the
state,
and
then
it
iterates
over
them.
It
does
some
ordering,
but
based
on
that
time
stamp.
So
this
is
all
display
logic.
B
B
So
so
one
thing
I
can
show
you
is
there's
a.
There
was
an
online
offline
notification
that
would
happened
in
the
app
before
and
that
was
sort
of
like
this
red
green
banner.
That
would
pop
down
right
here.
If
you
remember
so,
whenever
is
that
app
would
go
off
line,
it
would
pop
down
with
the
notification
and
say
you're
offline,
and
then,
when
you
go
back
online
it
would
change
to
green.
So
I
worked
with
saamiya
and
we
came
up
with
a
new
design
which
is
like
a
toast
get
submitted.
B
So
first
it
tells
you
you're
offline
that
actually
just
won't
go
away,
I
think
because
I
disabled
it,
but
and
then
it
showed
the
icon
up
at
the
top.
And
then,
if
you
go
online
again,
it
shows
it
tells
us,
as
you're
online
in
the
icon
goes
away,
and
so
all
that
all
that
happens
is
in
the
online
educator
component
over
here,
based
on
the
status
of
the
app
we.
B
If
we're
online,
then
we
met
the
online
social
for
offline
minute,
the
offline
toast
and
it's
as
simple
as
that,
so
so
I'm
hoping
to
keep
this
API
pretty
straightforward
so
that
when
you're
implementing
this
and
you're
in
your
own
components-
or
you
wanted
to
add
toast
wherever
it's,
it's
super
easy.
So
that's
toasts
and
if
you
have
any
feedback
either
the
guy
I
love
it
on
the
PR.
B
B
A
A
The
board
so
two
quick
update
on
tickets.
We
talked
about
it
during
the
last
community
update
good
weeks
ago,
but
obviously
we're
marking
tickets.
This
help
on
it.
The
majority
of
the
tickets
right
now
are
really
focused
around
bugs
and
bug
fixes.
I
would
say
if
you're,
a
community
member
and
you're
looking
to
contribute.
That
is
a
great
place
to
start,
but
also,
if
you're
looking
for
something
heavier
that
you
want
to
take
on.
A
We,
of
course
welcome
that
contribution
and
whether
it's
Peregrine
work
or
toast,
for
you
know,
if
you're
looking
for
where
you
can
help
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
any
member
of
the
team.
We
can
definitely
and
you
something
that
is
worthy
of
your
effort,
yeah
yeah.
So
yet
we
have
a
few.
We
have
a
few
tickets
and
ready
to
start
you
bugs,
of
course
a
you
know.
A
We
don't
see
me
remember
wanting
to
pick
those
up
we'll
just
pick
them
up
ourselves,
but
great
places
to
start
and
then
in
the
forum
and
calm
call
them
as
well.
There's
some
compliment
so
you
can
filter
a
Help
Wanted.
If
you
have
set
up
and
see
those
issues,
but
that's
really
it
for
I,
think
that'll
be
anybody
else
have
anything
they
want
a
demo
talk
about
questions
they
have.
