A
Hey
everyone
and
welcome
to
this
week's
Forum
recap
covering
the
week
of
October
20th
to
the
26th
big
thanks
to
Ashton,
for
helping
us
write
these
summaries.
Now
this
week
was
a
little
bit
more
lackluster
on
the
announcement
side,
but
we
have
one
announcement
so
to
say,
and
a
couple
of
proposal:
ideas
floating
around
the
forums
as
well
as
an
announcement
for
Signal
requests
and
two
active
signal
requests
so
without
further
Ado.
Let's
get
into
them.
A
First
up
we
have
a
post
by
recognized
delegate
Park,
who
shares
a
tool
called
Envoy
and
the
tool
was
developed
by
their
team
to
help
delegates
keep
track
of
new
and
expiring
proposals
and
executive
votes.
Delegates
and
anyone
else
interested
in
using
the
tool
can
join
the
telegram
channel
to
receive
alerts,
and
the
channel
link
is
available
in
the
thread
as
seen
on
the
screen,
so
just
click
on
the
link
and
you're
good
to
go.
A
Next,
we
have
a
proposal
post
by
Pros,
the
gov
Alpha
core
unit
facilitator,
and
he
presents
the
idea
of
using
hats
protocol
to
handle
permissions
for
different
Dow
contributors
and
their
roles
and
responsibilities.
Now,
as
a
trial
run,
Pros
suggests
writing
a
simple
MIP
to
apply
hats
to
the
current
core
unit
structure
and
instituting
at
least
three
levels
of
permissions.
He
hopes
to
have
a
MIP
ready
for
the
January
governance
cycle
if
the
community
does
support
this
idea.
A
So
if
you
support
the
idea
or
you
have
any
feedback,
please
go
to
Peyton's,
post
and
yeah
drop
a
comment.
A
Next
up,
we
have
Varun
adding
some
more
information
for
endgame
and,
as
we
understand,
the
centralized
collateral
backing
is
achieved
through
borrower
participation
and
borrowers
are
more
likely
to
opt
in
for
fixed
rates,
which
makes
fixed
rates
an
essential
resource
for
protocols
like
Deco,
as
well
as
Creator
clusters.
Now
considering,
this
roon
proposes
two
incentive
mechanisms
that
will
increase
the
number
of
borrowers
and
better
benefit
meta
dials
that
do
not
offer
or
will
not
offer
fixed
rate
products.
A
Now
these
two
mechanisms
are
Revenue
share
bonuses
that
are
offered
to
user
users
as
an
incentive,
and
the
second
mechanism
is
a
fixed
rate
module.
These
mechanisms
are
explained
in
more
details
in
the
Forum
recap,
as
well
as
the
thread
posted
by
roon.
So
if
you're
interested
go
check
it
out
also
roon
does
go
into
more
debt
on
this
topic
during
yesterday's
decentralized
voter
committee
call,
which
is
now
up
on
YouTube,
so
you
could
go
check
that
out
and
the
link
for
the
YouTube
call
is
also
available
in
the
Forum
recap
now.
A
It's
a
two-part
poll,
so
poll
one
asks
shell
maker,
Dao,
clear,
vaults,
bad
debt
and
the
winning
vote
is
yes
sitting
at
43
poll
two
asks
what
is
the
preferred
option
to
clear
these
bad
debts
and
the
winning
vote
is
to
liquidate
and
solve
an
account.
So
with
the
vote
sitting
at
30
percent
and
the
signal
request
ends
on
October
31st,
so
we
have
about
four
more
days
left
to
put
in
your
vote
and
with
this.
A
Let's
move
on
to
our
next
signal:
request
posted
by
Andrew
bourbon,
who
was
the
core
unit
facilitator
of
strategic
happiness,
core
unit
which
was
officially
off-boarded
just
recently.
However,
Andrew
does
vocalize
his
concern
and
his
desire
to
continue
to
help
promote
maker
die
and
spread
love
to
the
community.
Now
Eve
Gathering
is
coming
up
and
it's
rumored
to
have
many
people
attending
with
that.
Andrew
wants
nothing
more
than
to
finish
with
one
big
hurray.
A
Now
the
current
vote
breakdown
at
the
moment
supports
the
transfer
of
the
die
and
the
prorated
mkr
with
a
vote
of
48,
and
the
signal
request
ends
tomorrow.
So
if
you
have,
if
you
haven't,
voted-
and
you
have
some
opinion
on
this-
please
go
to
the
signal,
request
and
vote
and
I.
Think
of
this.
We
probably
won't
see
any
more
signal.
Requests
on
the
Forum
recap.
I
believe
we
might
we'll
see
what
happens
but
yeah.
A
That's
it,
and
thanks
for
checking
out
the
Forum
recap
for
more
information,
such
as
research
posts,
reports
happening
more
information
on
Signal
requests,
initiatives
going
on
at
maker
Dao,
as
well
as
Help
Wanted
at
makerdau.
Please
check
out
the
form
recap
and
leave
a
comment
or
some
feedback
thanks.
