As MakerDAO continues to grow and expand, each Core Unit is required to update and manage its budget. This issue discussion call provides an overview of the current challenges surrounding core unit budget modification and proposed solutions for improving the overall process. This call features the Strategic Finance Core Unit members, who will be putting out a MIP40 revision soon.

GovComms Engagement Lead @thomas.flitter leads a discussion on Core Unit and Facilitator Offboarding.

MakerDAO recently had its first experience off-boarding a Core Unit, MKT-001. As a result, the need for developing and strengthening the governance process around CU offboardings has become apparent. This call and its associated resources aims to summarize and frame the issue, some of its key components, potential solutions, and more. In addition, we ask call attendees to bring your own thoughts about what you’d like to see in future offboarding policies.
