Learn about the votes and polls MKR token holders can vote on this week in MakerDAO.

If passed, this week’s Executive Vote would pay out 9 Core Unit budgets, make 4 parameter changes, and carry out some housekeeping for the Protocol Engineering team and the Maker Protocol.

We also cover the Real-world Asset based collateral types that are posted as community greenlight polls currently, as well as 5 ratification polls for things such as Core Units and Liquidation Ratio changes.

Hey maker dao, I'm alec and we're talking about the executive vote for the week of august 16th to read more about the votes and polls we're discussing. Please visit makerdau's voting portal at vote.makerdow.com last week. We did not have a new executive posted. This was mainly because there weren't significant polls passed that required an executive vote. It's also worth mentioning that the vote posted on august 5th has yet to pass and is still up for polling.

That vote includes decreasing the stability fee on ethb vaults, from six to five percent, decreasing the debt ceiling on lrca from three to one million, die una swaps, eth usdt and die ustd pairs from 10 million to zero die and increasing the debt ceiling on the uniswap die, usdc liquidity, token from 50 to 250 million die, and next up we have five ratification polls, only two of which were posted this week. The first is proposing to onboard a pax peg stability module.

This would allow end users to swap the pax token directly for dye without borrowing. The second poll is suggesting reduced vault liquidation ratios for most vault types. Vault liquidation ratios limit the maximum amount of dye debt that a user can draw given the value of their collateral. The proposal suggests a five percent reduction for eth, a eth c and others, while a ten percent reduction being the choice for ave a comp, a and more you can see the links in the description for the full list.

Our third poll is a declaration of intent to onboard a collateral type that would be backed by b protocol v2 and fourth, we have a budget proposal update from the growth core unit, which would allow the team to receive mkr vesting over a three-year plan. And finally, we have a ratification poll to onboard the dye foundation core unit, we're proposing to manage legal issues mainly surrounding the internet properties of the dow and moving on.

We have three new community green light poles up for voting, all of which are real world asset based companies utilizing the tin lake protocol. The first is for capital now cannabis to be backed by the company's drop token. The company plans to use the die minted as a line of credit to originate new assets against factory and equipment financing assets currently established in the cannabis industry.

Next up, nebula capital partners drop token is proposed. Nebula capital partners is primarily focused on investments in portfolios of granular credit assets, as well as the expansion of their own fintech investments. And, last but not least, we have the carus global fintech fund drop token.
