was
actually

partner
organization
at
microsoft,
as
a
partner,
technical
architect,
so
working
again
kind
of
focused
on
teams,
development
and
power
platforms.
So
really
trying
to
push
that
story

partner
ecosystem,
getting
more
partners,
building
power
platform
practices
and
developing
and
power
platform
and
teams.

you've
been
around
for
and
you've
been
actually
quite
visible
within
the
past
years,
which
is
really
good.
We
we
certainly
need
more
women
and
and
get
more
diversity
in
the
in
the
community
and
help
and
helping
women
to
understand
that
it's
a
safe
place
to
actually
join
and
do
and
join
and
study
and
be
part
of
the
it
community
as
well
for
sure
so.

really
passionate

just
my
career
journey
when
I
was
first
starting
out
there
wasn't
a
lot
of
you
know
women
doing
this,
you
know,
or
at
least
especially
in
my
local
circle,
I
was
really
hesitant
to
ever.
You
know,
speak
and
get
involved
in
the
community
because
it
was.
It
was
all
guys.

wasn't
until
my
first
sharepoint
conference
that
I
went
to
in
what
2008,
probably
where
I
saw
people
like
the
kathy
dudes
and
the
laura
rogers,
like
other
women,
actually
up
there
speaking
and
that
was
kind
of
the
catalyst
to
make
me
think.
Well,
I
can
do
this
too,
so
I
think
it's
really
something
that
we
need
more
women
out
there
visible.

absolutely-
and
you
mentioned
actually
like
I
said
cathy
do
laura
roaches
has
been
around
and
both
are
now
well
doing
slightly
different
things,
but
they
used
to
be
an
mvp
as
well.
Laura
is
an
mvp
still

more
focusing
on
the
power
platform,
and
then
the
cafe
is
now
in
the
in
microsoft,
actually
in
engineering
in
my
sibling
team,
doing
a
responsible
of
printing
capabilities
which
is
really
cool

she
used
to
be
talking

branding
capabilities.

more

first

all
in
general,
getting
mvps
to
the
microsoft
and

then
helping
paying

road

joining

have

experience
when
you
work
externally
as
an
mvp
with
the
community
and
all
of
that
stuff.
So
it's
not
just
a
student
graduate
from
a
university
without
any
previous
experience.

well

I'm

I'm

questioning

feel

to

But
can
you
actually

talk
about
slightly
your
career?
You
mentioned
that
you
started
like
eight
years
ago
or
2008
with
sharepoint
as
a
the
first
thing,
with
the
community
and
all
of
that
stuff.
But
how
did
you
end
up
being
an
mvp.

So
I
I
was
interning
at
a
local
native
casino
here
and
I
was
trying
to
rotate
each
of
the
departments
and
figure
out
what
exactly
I
wanted
to
do,
because
I
knew
I
wanted
to
do
it.
I
didn't
know
exactly
what
got
with
the
development
department
and
they
happened
to
be
in
the
middle
of
a
big
upgrade
for
sharepoint
to
2007
from
2003
and
that's
where
they
needed
the
help.

So
it
wasn't
a
good
time
to
be
graduating
and
trying
to
get
a
job
and
what
you
actually
wanted
to
do.
So
I
had
to
take
kind
of
a
data
entry
job
at
the
telecom
company,
but
fortunately
they
had
sharepoint
there.
So
I
kind
of
warmed
my
way
into
helping
people.
I
would
say,
like
man,
this
isn't
working
right
and
I
would
just
you
know,
offer
my
help
with
different
things.
Well,
here's
how
you
upload
multiple
documents
or
whatever
it
might
be.

You
know
and
working
my
way
into
helping
with
some
infopath
stuff
in
shampoo
designer.
Eventually
I
got
a
sharepoint
dev
job.
There
did
that
for
a
few
years
and
then
started
my
own
consulting
company.
It
was
probably
about.
I
don't
know
five
years
into
that
when
I
got
my
mvp
empower
platform,
because
I
really
kind
of
shifted,
of
course,
like
like
a
lot
of
people
did
like
you
mentioned.
Laura
rogers
did
focusing
a
lot
on
the
power
platform
story
in
sharepoint
and
you
know
helping
our
clients.

Yeah
yeah:
it's
it's
amazing
to
actually
see
how
many
everybody
has
a
background
on
sharepoint
who's
been
around
for
like
15
years
and
then
through
the
sharepoint
community
pipeline.
Then
we
kind
of
sprinkle
around
across

different
projects
and
teams
and
and
organizations
and
products
which
is
really
really
good
like
it
should
be,
because
there's
so
much
more
than
just
a
sharepoint
right
now
available.
So
but
back
in
the
time
that
was
where
it
all
started.

mentioned
that
you
went
from,
I
won't
call
it
support
person
right
because,
like
you
help
you
help
people
with
using
sharepoint
uploading
files
and
doing
things
basically
using
things
that
are
available
out
of
the
box
to
being
a
dev
right,

then
you
switch
more
into
using
power
platforms.
So
how
do
you
experience
that
from
being
non-developer
to
now
calling
yourself
dev
and
then
going
to
power
platform
which
is
considered?

Yeah,
I
mean
so
that's
interesting
because
I
think
that's
where
I
can
shed
some
light
on
that,
because
I've
experienced
both
sides
from
you
know
going
from
not
dev
to
dev
to
back
to
maybe
focusing
on
more
non-traditional,
dev
tools.
I
think
that
the
lines
like
you
said
are
really
blurred
here
and
that's
one
of
the
things
why
I
was
really
excited
to
get
this
role,
because
I
want
to
share
and
show
that
the
power
platform
can
be
for
everyone
right.
It
really
is.

can
be
a
a
low
to
no
code
solution
where
you
don't
have
to
know
a
traditional
programming
language.
But
if
you
do,
if
you
know
c
sharp
or
angular,
you
can
extend
it
even
more,
you
can
take
it
even
farther.
There's

you
know,
story
for
everyone,
no
matter
where
you're
coming
from
to
build
solutions
in
the
power
platform
and
that's
something
that
I'm
really
passionate
about
letting
everyone
know,
because
I
don't
think
a
lot
of
people
realize
that.

and
I
think
that's
a
that's
a
great
tooling-
for
enabling
people
to
start
with
a
not
that
much
previous
knowledge.
But
then
there's
a
lot
of
opportunities
to
grow
within
that
tool
and
and
the
product
as
well
so
kind

then
growing
to
be
a
local
developer
and
then
potentially
a
pro
developer.
Because
I
think
the
power
platform
is
claiming
the
pro
developer
side
as
well
or
getting
there.
Because
of
the
the
code
behinds
and
the
the
definitions
of
everything
in
ammo
and.

you
know
you
can
kind
of
focus
if
you're,
if
you're,
building
a
power
platform
solution
on
what
you
like
like?
If
you
hate,
building
front
ends,
but
you
love
apis?
Well,
you
can
have
a
citizen
developer
whatever
you
want
to
call
it
build
the
front
end
of
your
app
and
power
apps
and
you
can
focus
on
the
api
layer
and
creating
the
connector
so.

imagine

web
parts
in
typescript
if

person

you're,
not
like
you're
building
web
parts
like
you're
drawing
squares
like

So
it's
all
a
matter
of
perspective
right
sure.

to
see
those
labels
dropped
and
it's
hard
because
you
hear
like
one
we
hear
a
lot
is
professional
developers
to
describe
people
that
you
know
right
with
c-sharp
or
traditional
code
that
that
one
gets
me
a
lot
because
I've
seen
it
offend.
You
know
people
like
will
you
say
I'm
not
professional,
because
I
don't
you
know
c
sharp
and
I
yeah
just
building
a
power
app.

know
I'd
love
to
see
those
labels
kind
of

we're
just
people
that
make
things
like
you
said
or
whatever
one
we'll
call.

there's

absolutely
a
lot
of
lot
of
opportunities
on
the
power
platform
side
and,
of
course,
not
on
the
code
side

development
side
as
well,
not
taking
anything
away
from
the
development
side

well.

there's

spectrum
of
different
roles
and
skill
sets
in
the
microsoft
365
platform.
But
how
do
you
actually,
which
is
an
interesting
topic?
So
now
that
we

a

typescript
specialist
cloud
advocate
on
this

then
we
have
this
kind
of
a
you.

That's
really
hard
because
there
are
so
many,
like
you
know,
take
the
typescript
analogy
from
a
power
platform
perspective.
If
you
know
typescript,
you
can
build
powerapps
component
framework
controls
to
extend
the
you
know,
widgets
or
components
that
we
can
use
within
a
powerapp.
So
there's
something
you
can
do
right
there
I
mean
we
could
be
talking
about.
You
know
sharepoint
web
parts.
I
mean
there's
so
many
different
areas
that
you
could
go
in.

you
know
that,

you

sharp

azure
functions,
we
can
you
know,
extend
power
platform
in
that
way
and
workflows
and
processes
to
do
short.
Little
services
type
functions
like
that.
So
there's
I
mean
there's
really

many
different
ways

if
you
are
an
excel
guru
right

mean
we
can
do
list
formatting
to
transform
your
list.
We
can
build
a
power.
App
easily
is
really
you
can
make
your
own
path.

it's

off
of
where
you're
starting

think
one
of
the
problems
for
sure
is
that
every
single
product
is
is
really
releasing
so
many
new
things
all
the
time
that
then,
as
an
external
developer
or
an
end
user
or
a
let's
say
a
product
owner
might
be
overwhelmed
with
all
of
the
incoming
things.
The
classic
discussion
point:
what
would
be?
How
can
people
deal
with
that
change?
What
would
be
the
easiest
way
of
of
dealing
with.

we,
I
think
you
know
the
mvps
in
the
community,
help
with
that
I
mean
we're.
You
you're
surfacing
up
all
the
the
latest
stuff,
the
really
important
stuff
that
you
need
to
know.

mean

like
the
top
things
and
blog
posts

the
week,
so
you
can

kind
of
a
short
synopsis

what
you

uncomfortableness

woman

getting

find
what
you're
comfortable

wasn't
comfortable
speaking
right
off

bat,

started
off
blogging.
There's
so
many
different
ways
that
you
can
get
plugged
into

community
and
get
started
with
it
so
find
what
you're
comfortable
with
whether
it's
writing
doing
pre-recorded
videos
speaking
doing
one-on-one
conversations,
and
then
you
know
again,
I
same
community
a
lot,
but
I
think
that's
key,
and
that
was
key
for
me
is
is
when
I
went
to
the
sharepoint
conference
and
I
met
some
of
these
people.

some
of
them
didn't
mentor
me
and
I
think,
finding
a
good
mentor
nit,
especially
as
a
woman
is,
is
really
key
to
succeeding
and
you
know
helping
you
when
things
things
are
going
to
come
up.
You
know
and
things
that
are
unique
to
women.
Like
you
know,
bullying
harassment,
different
things
that
we
have
to
deal
with,
unfortunately,
and
having
a
woman
advocate
or
a
mentor
on
your
side
is
really
going
to
help.

deal
with
those
things
that
come
up.

there
might
be
not
that
many
folks
who
could
be
a
mentor
to
you
in
your
field,
but
in
a
community
that
spends
beyond
your
company,
you
might
be
more
likely
to
find
somebody
who
will
guide
you
and
who
has
maybe
some
more
experience
to
share
and
heck.
Maybe
that
person
will
say
you
know
what
maybe
the
praise
like
you
know
what
you
know,
but
did
you
know
that
there's
a
bigger
world
outside
and
maybe
it
is
a
time
for
you
to
change
or
think
about
other
things.

nail

That's,
I
think,

happens
with
all
of
us.

you're

own

narrow

community

decade

that

great
to
see

people

anybody

world

get
involved,

mvp
status
by
being
consistently
providing
value
and
understanding,
and
that?
Well,
I'm
repeating
myself
understanding
that
consistency
is
really
the
key
of
additional
things
here
and
there
blocking
it
could
be
blocking
it
could
be
podcasting.

It
could
be
videos
whatever,
but
keep
on
doing
that
for
a
certain
moment
and
then
you'll
get
the
mvp
status.
Then
you
get
more
connected.
Then
you
get
an
nda
status,
which
means
that
we
can
we
from
a
microsoft
site
can
more
openly
talk
about
what's
coming,
and
then
you
get
more
visibility
and
get
prepared
on
that
stuff
and
and
there's
a
lot
of
kind
of
opportunities,
then
to
to
do
networking
and
connectivity
and
connections
across
the
world,
and
it's
great
actually
to
see
the
fact
that
it's
it's
not
really
country
specific
anymore.

anybody
across

world
can
do
this
just
by
starting
contributing
in
guitar
or
whatever

preference

I
think
we
need
to
be
even
more
vocal
on
that
one
in
the
future,
because

that's

huge

everybody

at

working
