well
use
advice

somebody

about
tech
and
combine
it
with
the

realize

technology
evangelists

a
little

envy,

lot
about
technology
and
I
like
to
convince
customers
and
the
companies
in
our
group
to
do
something
interesting
with
their

digital
workplace.

My
job
involves
talking
a
lot.

got
started
out

this
in
this
community.
I
think
it's
all.
What's
probably
15
years
ago,
something
like
that.

of
course
busy
in

for
a
longer
time
than
that,
but
that's
when
the
community
thing
started
to
mean
something
for
me
and
it's
funny
how
I
consider
many

the
speakers
that
I
met
there
in
2009

I

up

I
consider
them
good
friends.
Now
it's
it's
quite
funny.
So
that's
how
I
got
bitten
by
the
community
microbe,
let's
say

then,

years
I
was-

I

known

the

mr
hybrids
and
mr
sequel,
that
was
those
were
the
two
main
session
topics
that
I
talked
about
a
lot
probably
too
much
over

years.

always

typical

pro
the
typical
on-prem
guy,
but
of
course
well,
there
is,
there
is
an
evolution
and
I'm
I'm
quite
proud,
actually
that
I
haven't
really
touched
the
the
new
upcoming
sharepoint
on-prem
version.
Yet
so
that's
for
me,
that's
really.
That
really
means
something
lately.

last
few
years
I
think
as
a
speaker,
because
that's
my
main
way
of
interacting
with
the
community,
I
don't
blog
that
much
and
everything
has
been
about
teaching
I.t
professionals

dip
their
toes
inside
of
the
developer
world.
I'm
not
much
of
a
developer
myself,
I'm
totally
not
a
developer.
I
know
just
my
way
around
visual
studio
code.
I
know
enough
javascript
to
be
dangerous.

Well,
I
think
yeah
many
of
my
sessions
are
introductory
sessions
for
it
professionals
and
because
I
noticed
that
many
people
are
a
little
bit
intimidated
by,
for
example,
all
these
new
well
they're,
maybe
not
new
anymore,
but
all
the
terminal
windows,
the
black
screens,
all
the
fancy
command
line
tools
like
it
stuff,
like
that
and
I.t
professionals,
are
maybe
a
little
bit
intimidated
by
all
that,
all
that
yeah
all
that
wizardry,
let's
say,
and
I
I
think
it's
one
of
it's,
my
it's
a
good
opportunity
to
to.
Let
them
know
that.

Well,
these
tools
aren't
only
cool
because
they
are,
of
course
I
don't
have
to
tell
you,
but
they
also
serve
a
purpose
things
like
well.
We
we
use
version,
control
and
sharepoint
every
day,
but
what
about
version
control
for
your
code?
And
if
you
talk
about,
if
you
talk
to
it
professionals,
we
talk
about
powershell
version
control
for
powershell,
so
the
scripts
of
the
powershell.

But
also
how
you
contribute
to
documentation,
for
example,
through
github
stuff
like
that
and
for
many
it
professionals.
That's
a
real
eye-opener
because,
let's
say
good
tooling,
when
it
comes
to
good
tooling
developers
are
always
a
little
bit
more
spoiled,
maybe
than
than
it
professionals
and
what
doesn't
that
doesn't
have
to
be.
Like
that
sure.

yeah
totally
and
so
another
thing
I
wanted
to
ask
right
because
you
mentioned
you
don't
code
but
on
the
other
end
like
you're,
pretty
well
versed
in
powershell
and
to
me
that's
coding,
like
you,
can
do
really
advanced
things
in
powershell
right.
So
you
don't
call,
but
then,
on
the
other
hand,
you
use
powershell,
which
is
to
me
very
much
coding.

and
I
think
that's
where
it
comes
from-
is
that
identifying
people
as
an
administrator
as
a
developer
is
wrong.
It's
just
purely
wrong.
We
we,
as
a
microsoft,
we
used
to
do
that.
We
basically
said
you're,
either
in
a
technet
camp
or
industry
in
camp
nowadays.
Luckily
that
doesn't
exist,
but
still
the
mental
mindset
is
there.
So.

They
have
ridges
everything,
different
different
atmosphere,
different
cars,
exactly
yeah.
Luckily
that
has
changed
and
for
me
I
was
always
someone
who
was
interested
in
I
mean
I'm
interested
in
everything.
That's
also
also
a
bit
of
a
problem
actually,
but
okay,
so
yeah,
that's
that's!
That's
quite
cool
to
be
able
to
step
into
a
a
session
room
that
was
traditionally
foreign
for
a
developer
audience,
and
that's
that's
really!
Nice,
that's
possible
nowadays.

that's
at
some
point
of
the
stage
of
the
carrier,
at
least
in
the
past.
You
were
basically
it
was
inevitable
that
if
you
come
from
an
idea
pro,
let's
say
background,
you
needed
to
start
learning
about
the
developer
stuff
or
if
you
come
from
the
developer
background,
we
signed
it,
but
then,
when
I
went
to
the
mcm
training,
the
master
certification
training,
which
doesn't
exist
anymore.
Unfortunately,
during
the
various
reasons,
but
I
was
forced
to
learn,
then
what
is
the
server?

think
I
think
it's
also.
It
is
an
interesting
thing
because,
as
as
you
say
like,
if
you
grow
career
from
being
developer
or
admin
from
being
developer,
you
need
to
learn
infra
because,
like
the
next
stage
is
probably
being
an
architect,

developer.
That

learn
everything
about
the
infra
planning,
scaling
and

on
and

forth.

you're
gonna
go
to
the

learn
more
about
the
codes
out
of
things,
and
I
guess
it
didn't
really
change,
because
the
infra
part

still

cloud

build
something
on
azure
well,
you
still
need
to
know
the
same
thing
about
how
things
are
backed
up
available,
scale
and
so
forth,
and
so
on.
It's
just
different.
Like
you,
you
don't
have
a
box
anywhere.

still,
but
it's
not
because
microsoft
is
managing
a
whole
portion
of
the
of
the
stack
that
you
shouldn't
be
concerned
about
your
operational
service
management.
Let's
say
those
things
are
still
important.
You
can
still
lose
data
if
you're,
not
careful.
Even
if
microsoft
is
backing
up
everything
you
all
the
same
principles,
all
the
same
requirements
that
you
would
have
or
that
your
customer
or
your
business
has
they're
still
valid
so
yeah.
What
you
exactly
have
to
do
in
your
job
shifts
a
little
bit
or
shift
it.

The
main
concern,
I
must
say
my
main
concern-
is
still
on
the
non-technical
side.
Actually
is
the
whole,
the
whole
user
adoption
story,
everything
moves
so
quickly
and-
and
we
I
think
we
in
this
call,
we
we
it's
our
job
to
follow
right
to
to
see
to
to
to
stay
up
to
date,
and
I
I
struggle
to
do
that.
I
read
a
lot
of
blogs.

listen
to
a
lot
of
podcasts
to
try
to
stay
up
to
date,
a
little
at
least
a
little
bit,
but
okay,
what
about
this
non-technical
person
in
the
company
who
actually
needs
to
get
their
job
done,
and
that
is
still
after
all
these
years.
That's
still
for
me,
that's
the
main
struggle.
How
how
we
can
make
sure
that
people
they
have
the
tools.
They
don't
often
don't
realize
that
that
they
have
these
tools
but
enable
they
realize.

can
we
make
sure
they
use
those
tools
as
we
want
them
to
use,
or
how
do
we
make
sure
that
they
don't
use
it
as
we
don't
want
it
to
use?
And
that's
that's
my
main
concern
and
of
course
I'm
I'm,
I'm
techy,
I'm
I'm
very
much
interested
in
everything,
technological
of
course,
but
I
don't
think
that's
the
main
concern
anymore.

That's
actually
a
really
good
point,
and-
and
that's
basically
that's
where
the
partner
opportunities
lies
more
and
more
also
because
I
I
think
that's
we
within
this
broadcast
we've
been
having
discussions
with
a
lot
of
the
partners
and
a
lot
of
the
the
people.
Who've
seen
this
transition
to
the
cloud
and
where
we
basically
went
for
a
500,
000
or
2
million
dollar
projects,
all
of
a
sudden
to
a
smaller
ones.
But
then
the
change
management
is
the
key.
A
It's
actually
a
huge
problem,
even
for
microsoft,
to
provide
some
transparencies
that
as
you're
buying
an
e3
or
a5
or
whatever
you're
buying
certain
set
of
services.
But
if
we
see
that
the
customer
is
not
using
some
of
those
services
which
they're
already
paying
for,
we
really
want
to
go
and
educate
them
on
the
value
that
we're
providing,
because
why
would
they
aren't?

Yeah,
it's
exactly
it's
really
true.
I
mean.
If
I
talk
to
customers,
they
always
tell
me
yeah
we're.
We
have
an
e3
license
for
everyone,
but
microsoft
still
wants
us
to
use
e5
and
they
want
us
to
scale
up
to
e5,
but
we
don't
think
we
are
using
everything
to
the
fullest.
Yet
I
think
you're
right,
that's
a
little
bit
more
on
the
commercial
side,
but
that's
that's
the
reality.
Yeah
and
people
cannot
use
everything
there.
They
they
can
so
sure.

and
I
guess
there's
also
this
other
thing
right,
like
yeah
sure
so
in
e3
like
if
you
look
over
the
course
of
years,
e3
has
grown
a
lot
like
there
are
so
many
things
in
there
and
sure.

you
don't
use
everything

there,
but
you
need
to
use
right,
and
maybe
there
are
some
elements
in
e5
that
even
in
e5
you
won't
need
everything.
But
maybe
there
are
the
few
things
that
you
actually
need
from

e5
right.

it's
challenging
because
you
might

might
make
the
argument
like
well
yeah,
like
we
don't
even
use
everything
from
e3.
So
why
go
to
e5?
But
is
that
the
right
reasoning?
Because
like
will
anybody
ever
use
everything
that
they
have
available
in
three?
Probably
not
because
it's
so
much
and
it
will
only
be
more
and
more
and
more?
And
you
don't
need
to
use
everything
in
order
to
work
efficiently
and
effectively
right.

perspective

huge
opportunity
for
consultants
and
also
customers.
It's
not
like
the
especially
in
europe,
and
we
know
that
this
podcast
has
been
and
the
video
is
being
listened
by
people

world,

in
europe
like
like

knows
and
and
weltec
knows,
companies
don't
have
I.t
anymore.

people

people

different
opinion

For
me,
it's
like
okay,
introduce
things
gradually
and

be
happy
that
they
are
already
working
with
teams
and,

only
you're

conversations

teams.

that's
fine!
Let
them
be
well
accustomed
to
working
in
another
way
and
then
maybe
introduce
one
drive,
maybe
introduced
in
something
else
more
structural
way
of
working
in
sharepoint,
if
that's
necessary,
stuff
like
that.

come
up
with
some
kind
of
it's
a
really
typical
consultant's
word,
but
the
roadmap
on
how
to
implement
and
when
to
implement
stuff
when
they,
when
they
are
ready,
because
not
everyone
yeah,
it's
not.
Everyone
is
helped
by
giving
everything
at
once.
Here
is
this
great
office
365
or
microsoft?
365
suite
yeah
you're
we're
okay.
Now
it
doesn't
work
like
that.

Classic
example
that
there's
a
lot
of
product
manufacturers
like
who
have
invented
something
like
this
way
before
apple,
but
people
are
not
ready.
People
were
not
mature
enough.
They
were
not
accepting
that
the
the
technology-
or
maybe
the
experience,
wasn't
that
optimal.
But
but
again,
that's
that's
gradually.
Whenever
the
organization
is
ready,
we
can
then
introduce
additional
level
and
that's
where
stuff,
like
maturity,
levels
and
and
all
of
that
stuff
can
help.
I
think
every
single
one
of
the
consulting
companies
have
their
own
ways
of
dealing
that
and
selling
the
idea.

we
also
have
something
something
similar,
but
from
from
a
platform
perspective,
it
doesn't
it's
not
always
easy
right,
because
it's
not
it's
not
easy.
You
can.
You
can't
just
turn
off
certain
things,
so
you
should
always
educate
your
users
like

We
know
there
is
an
additional
icon
and
we
know
that
you've
been
on
youtube
and
you
know
what
it
what
it
does,
but
please
we
want
you
to
look
it
at
this
this
or
that
way.
So
it's
yeah

you

want

be
an
advisor,

prepared
to

generalist.

specialist

hybrid

some
other
technologies,
but
you
have
to
be
prepared
to
be
a
generalist
and
in
order
to
be
a
generalist,

to
be
curious.

think
that's
one
of
the
main
and
we
can
talk
about
passion
and
being
curious,
but
that's
that's.

that's
one
of
the
most
important
aspects
of
your
personality
that
you
should
have.
Otherwise
you
will
not
be
able
to
advise
customers
on

the
broad
ecosystem
that

available

having
a
passion
for
technology.

course
aspect

different
dimension.

think

evolved

just
sending
people
on
a
course
for
a
few
days
will
not
cut
it
probably,

much

you
have
to
start
somewhere
and
you're
right.
There
is
so
much
there
is
there

There
is
a
lot
of
youtube
channels.
There
is
enormous
amount
of
podcasts
and
websites
and
personal
blogs
and
community
blogs.

the
pnp
initiative,
there
is
so
much
information
to
consume,
but
yeah
you
can't
read
everything
you
can't
be
involved
in
everything,
so
I
think
pick
your
pick
your
battle
and
and
start
somewhere
small
and
if
you
are
really
into
this
community
thing
well
start
contributing
back.
That's
also
a
really
important,
really
important
topic.

the
15
years
in

microsoft
quite
soon,
and
I've
been
trying
to
figure
out
if
I
will
write
a
blog
post
and
one
of
the
things
in
in
the
kind
of
a
notes
on
on
what
I
would
say

younger
person.

one
of
the
notes
here
is
be
forgiving
for
yourself,
which
says
it
says:
don't
try
to
be
perfectionist,
understand
that
you
just
did
no
way
for
knowing
any
of
the
stuff
and
then
give
yourself
room
to
grow
so
one
step
at
a
time.

learning
and
learning
and
learning

it
is

think

things
have
changed

even

you

about

the

hardware

cloud.

that
is
gone

worry
about
sql,

capacity
planning
because,

all
of
that,
is
managed
for
you
by
microsoft,
but
there
are
some

other
things
to
take
into
account.

all
services
that
we
have
available
like
power
platform
sharepoint,
you
have
viva,
you
have
whatever
everything
right,
so
it's
between
them
and
and
then
answer
to
like
okay.
So
we
have
teams,
email
yammer,
which
one
do
we
use
and
when
and
why
like
that
right,
because
now
we
have
abundance
of
tools
and
the
question
is
which
one
do
we
choose
right?

I
think,
like
the
argument
stands,
it
was
a
lot.
It's
still
a
lot
now.
Maybe
we
have
now
a
quicker
pace
of
changes,
which
means
you
need
to
like
do
a
little
more
work
to
stay
on
top
of
everything,
but
I
think
the
scale
of
things
you
need
to
know,
especially
to
cover
the
breath,
is
still
there
it
like
that
aspect,
didn't
change.

just
moved
from
one
field
to
another.

competences,

never

authority
