and
what
this
means.
That
is,
that
you
can
actually
take
advantage
of
the
viva
connection
desktop
and
the
mobile
experiences
within
your
tenants.

and

is
going

those
functionalities

a

confusion
about
what
we're
doing
and
how
viva
kind
of
fits
in
the
broader
world.

ability

employer

connect

an
employee.
This
is
communications.
This
is
insights.
This
is
knowledge.
This
is
training.
This
is
what
do
I
need
to
know
as
someone

works

What

As
someone
who
works
at
your
giving
company,
I
would
say
covet-
has
really
pushed
exp
into
hyperdrive
when
I
kind
of
look
at
it,
there's
really
two
news
articles
I
guarantee
are
in
my
news,
feed
every
single
morning
for
the
last
18
months.

something

it's
getting
better,
it's

late

viva
connections
and
the
reason
we're
starting
here
is
viva
connections.
We
look
is
really
the
gateway
really
between
m365
and
that
viva
experience
you
see
it
it'll
show
up
in
sharepoint,
it'll
show
up
in
teams
and
I'd
say
for
the
community,
because
everything's
so
new
and
there's
a
little
bit
of
confusion.

there's
two
incredibly
important
things
to
know
about
microsoft,
viva
and
I
think
you'll
like
them.
Both
the
first
is
viva
connections
is
licensed
along
with
m365.
So
if
you
are
an
m365
customer,
you
will
get
viva
connections
by
default
with
your
licensing,
those
other
three
modules
that
I
mentioned:
insights,
learning
and
topics.
Those
are
typically
going
to
be
exposed
with
more
licensing
and
packages
on
top
of
m365.

But
we
view
a
world
where
viva
connections
is
such
connective
tissue.
Everyone
should
get
it
and
a
matter
of
fact.
You
could
actually
run
just
with
viva
connections
and
all
third-party
pieces.
Now.
The
other
thing
which
I'd
say
is
a
little
bit
counter
to
kind
of
how
m365
has
gone
is
within
viva
connections
is
what
we
call
an
ingredient
brand
you're,
never
actually
going
to
see
it
as
a
worker
at
your
company.

you
look
at
all
of
our
demos
in
this
slide,
where
what
you'll
see
at
ignite,
if
you're,
in
something
like
airlift,
we've
gone
full
relic
cloud,
we
just
like
to
change
it
up
every
now
and
then,
but
we
look
at
viva
connections,
we
kind
of
nickname
it
the
company
app
it
takes
on
your
full
branding.
It
is
meant
to
have
your
company's
logo,
your
company's
topography
and
really
microsoft
is
the
connective
tissue
that
actually
pulls
it
all

grown

little
deeper

still
see
pretty
marketing
pictures
when
we
talk

what's
coming
and
the
preview
that
vasa
just
talked
about.

yammer
and
what
is
teams
kind
of
push
together
in
one
employee
experience
piece
it's
distributed
through
the
team's
admin
console
and
has
some
superpowers
which
I'll
talk
about
later
and
then
the
next,
which
is
really
for
the
next
generation
of
work
that
that's
coming
out
and
is
also
in
public
beta,
is
the
mobile
app
in
teams
and
I'd
say
these
are
just
the
beginning
of
exposing
viva
connections.
Of
course
it
starts
in
sharepoint
and
in
teams,
because
that's
where
so
many
information
workers
are
spending
time.
What
you
will
see
is
over
time.

when
we
get
into
the
desktop
app
specifically
when
we
look
at
the
opportunity,
it's
a
company
branded
entry
point,
it
has
all
your
global
navigation
and
if
you
see
right
in
the
middle
here,
one
of
the
things
that
I
think
is
so
important
if
you
are
building
sharepoint
web
parts
today,
you
are
part
of
the
viva
connection
story.
That
means
your
usage
is
going
to
go
up
your
mouse
going
to
go
up.

it
shows

both
mobile
as
like
the
default
hero
experience,
but
it
can
also
be
pinned
as
a
web
part

any
sharepoint

home

is

part

we
look
at
this
dashboard
and
it's
really
driven
by
adaptive
cards
is
this.

our
actually
attempt

be

bridge
between
all
the
app
models
that
exist
out
there,
whether
you've
built

sharepoint,
whether
you're
built
on
teams?

based
idea

what
we
typically
see
is

developers
decompose
an
app
into
multiple

dashboard
so
like
every
day,
there's
a
set
of
things
you
can
do.

can
check
your
stock
price.
You
can

global
attestation
to
get
into
a

top

mind
things
where
you're
able

organizations

have
their

essentially
created

list

given
individual

course,
you

each
training
course
containing
things
like
a
title.
Start
date
end
date,
the
type
of
course
it
is
if
it
is
an
online
or
in-person
course,
and
the
course
description
and
typically
what
you
would
expect

user

an
employee
if
they
are
looking
for
a
training
course
on
this
on
a
given
topic,
they
would
go
to
the
microsoft
search,
page
experience
and
look
for
it.

today

sharepoint
search
experience.

I'm
searching
for
design

looking
for
training
courses
related
to

Now,

seeing

here

lot
of
relevant
results
which
are
popping
up.
However,
one
thing
to
notice
over
here
is
that
in
each
of
these
search
result,
design
and
engineering,
which
is
essentially
the
the
title.
The
title
of
the
training
course
is
the
only
thing
that
is
actually
visible
to
the
users.

Now
considering,
we
have
about
four
to
five
search
results
related
to
design
training
courses
which
are
available.
If
a
user
has
to
choose
between
one
of
these,
then
they
have
to
essentially
go
to
each
and
every
one
of
these
results
read
up
on
the
details
and
then
choose
make
the
right
choice,
which
is
a
tedious
process.
They're,
not
you
know.

So
for
that
the
you
have
to
go
to
the
search
administration
portal.
So
in
this
case,
you
have
to
go
to
microsoft,
365
admin
center,
and
in
here
you
have
to
go
to
search
and
intelligence.
Now
within
search
and
intelligence,
you
have
a
customization
stamp.
So
essentially,
in
this
case,
you
are
customizing
the
result
layout
experience,
which
is
a
configuration
called
as
a
result,
type
now
for
the
demo.
I
already
have
the
result
type
deleted,
so
I'm
just
going
to
walk
you
through
this.

in
this
case,
this
is
the
training
courses
result
layout,
result
type
that
I
have
created
now
in
very,
very
simple
terms.
A
result
type
is
just
a
configuration
which
is
tying
a
type
of
content
for
which
you're
showing
a
result
to
the
result
layout
to
the
new
type
of
layout,
which
has
to
be
shown.

So
apart
from
the
typical
information,
like
you
know,
the
name
of
the
result
type
configuration
over
here,
I
spoke
about
two
aspects.
One
is
what
is
the
type
of
content
for
which
I
want
to
change
the
search
result
and
that
essentially
is
sort
of
selected
or
provided
using
these
two
aspects.
One
is
the
content
source.
So
in
this
case,
a
content
source
could
either
be
sharepoint
or
it
could
be
a
connector,
a
graph
connector,
because
here
we
are
designing
for
a
sharepoint
list
item
the
content
source
is
sharepoint.

The
second
aspect
is
now
sharepoint
is
very,
very
broad.
There
are
a
lot
of
things
right,
so
what
you
also
want
to
do
is
become
a
bit
more
specific,
so
here
you
can
go
ahead
and
further
to
narrow
this
down
and
tell
which
type
of
content
you
want
to
go
ahead
and
select.
So
today
we
are
providing
this
capability
for
sharepoint
list
item,
page
site
or
pdf.

Now,
even
within
this,
I
have
selected
sharepoint
list
item,
but
I,
for
example,
don't
want
to
change
the
layout
for
every
sharepoint
list
item,
so
I
can
further
narrow
this
down
and
say
that
whenever
the
sharepoint
list
item
is
coming
from
the
training
courses,
only
in
that
case
go
ahead
and
overwrite
the
results
layout.
So
now
so
far,
I
have
essentially
figured
out
the
type
of
content
that
I
want
to.
You
know
the
type
of
content
for
which
I
want
the
search
to
change.

The
next
step
is
all
about
designing
your
search
result
layout
and,
like
ed,
was
showing
earlier.
We
essentially
use
adaptive
cards
to
do
this
now
for
doing
this.
What
we
have
is
a
layout
designer
which
is
present.
So
if
you
go
ahead
and
launch
the
layout
designer,
we
start
out
by
providing
a
set
of
default
templates
from
which
you
can
actually
choose
so
depending
upon
your
need,
you
can
go
ahead,
go
ahead
and
choose
one
of
these
templates.
This
just
helps
you
to
get
started.
So,
let's
say
in
my
case.

think
that
this
particular
template
looks
quite
close
to
what
I
wanted,
because
I
wanted
to
show
the
the
title
and
the
course
description,
as
well
as
some
additional
kind
of
a
metadata.
So
I
can
just
select
this
particular
template.

on
get
started

and
start
doing
the
mapping.
Now,
what
is
the
mapping
so
far?
You
just
have
the
template.
This
particular
template
or
layout
has
should
now
get
connected
to
the
sharepoint
list.

data
that
was
being
shown

for
example,
this

a

required
to
essentially

the
mapping
for
all
of
the
different
parts
which
are
present
in
the
layout,
so
just
for
the
demo,
I

put

dummy
values

next
step
comes

and
I
think
this
is
the
last

Yes,
so
once
all
of
the
mapping
is
done
and
not
with
the
junk
values,
but
with
the
correct

generate

layout
json

do
anything

verticals
to
hide

types
