hub

hubs,

this

something
related
on
sharepoint,

build
a
hub
association,

renew
automatically
in

days
and
that's
really
really
cool.

first

all,
the
biggest
news,
probably
in
the
platform
side
of
the
house,
was
the
announcement
of
sharepoint
framework
1.13,
and
this
is
the
one
which
is
extending
supporting
extending
of
microsoft
viva
connection.
So
that
is
the
platform
for
microsoft.
Vivo
connection
has
been
now
g8,
so
you
can
actually
start
building
extensibility
using
1.13..

Now
I
must
say,
and
that
there
was
few
small
itsy
bit
issues
in
the
1.13
release,
which
is
kind
of
a
semi
expected.
Not
really.
We
would
not
like
to
have
them,
but
we
will
release
a
1.13.1
relatively
soon
within
upcoming
weeks.
You
can
already
use
1.13,
but
if
your
functionality
is
using,
for
example,
dialogues
which
were
part
of
the
sharepoint
framework,
then
you
might
want
not
to
actually
operate
yet
on
1.13
and
wait
for
the
1.13,
one
of
which
will
address
that
one
small
known
issue.

was
also
two
other
news,
so
odata,
probably
the
changes,
the
microsoft
365
usage
report,
apis
microsoft,
graph,
good
announcement
and
updates
on
that
one
and
then
use
end-to-end
encryption
for
one-to-one
microsoft
teams
meetings.
So
that's
a
setting
which
you
can
actually
set
in
a
tenant
level
to
control
that
kind
of
an
encryption
level
in
those
calls,
and
that's
really
for
the,
for
example,
for
in
financial
companies
when
they
do
business
to
consumer
discussions.
Potentially,
so
that's
that's
a
really
cool
thing
as
well.

complicated,
because
the
rights
into
these
different
hobs
are
still
security
trends.

limited

three:
it
gets

confusing
to
people.
If
you
go
beyond
that,

test
it
out,

so
three

is
the
hard
limit
that
we've
set
when
you
think
about
how
many
sites
get
associated

hub

how
many
hubs
we
have
with
a
limit
of
2
000,
being
able
to
associate
more
than
three
hubs
together
could
get
very
complex
and
very
complicated.
So
we
don't
envision
a
world
where
you
would
nest
further
than
three
deep,
but
that
isn't
saying
that
it's
only
three
hubs.

microsoft
really
is
on
onedrive
and
sharepoint
web
performance
initiatives,
and
that
includes
progressive
web
apps
and
project
nucleus,
which
I'll
mainly
talk
about
today.

So
let
me
start
off
by
introducing
what
is
project
nucleus,
so
in
its
simplest
form,
project
nucleus
is
a
new
client-side
component
that
we
developed
that
runs
alongside
onedrive
sync,
app
that
you
all
might
be
familiar
with,
and
what
project
nucleus
really
allows
us
to
do.
It
allows
us
to
supercharge
existing
onedrive
and
sharepoint
web
applications
like
microsoft
list,
for
example,
or
onedrive,
by
providing
consistently
fast
and
smooth
experiences,
even
on
slower
networks
or
lower
end
devices.

Additionally,
nucleus
allows
our
customers
to
really
seamlessly
work
with
very,
very
large
and
complex
data
sets
that
are
made
available
through
our
web
app.
So
a
good
example
of
that
is
a
microsoft
list
that
has
hundreds
of
thousands
of
rows
and
performing
operations
on
those
on
those
items
in
the
fast
and
efficient
manner.
But
more
impressively
project
nucleus
allows
web
apps
it
integrates
with
to
continue
working
when
offline
and
and
by
offline.

So
project
nucleus,
in
combination
with
progressive
web
apps,
provides
really
rich
offline
experiences
that
allow
both
browsing
and
editing
so
the
progressive
web
app
part
is
really
responsible
for
rendering
the
app
when
you're
offline,
but
where
project
nucleus
comes
in
is
making
that
app
fully
interactive
and
usable,
and
so
the
high
level
diagram
on
this
slide
really
just
outlines
how
nucleus
makes
it
all
possible.
So
project
nucleus
runs
on
the
local
device.

you
essentially
you
eliminate
the
network
from
the
equation
of
getting
the
data
into
into
the
web.
App
and
project
nucleus
uses
really
the
same
apis
that
the
web
app
users
uses
today
when
reading
and
writing
from
the
cloud,
and
so
this
allows
us
to
handle
offline
editing
scenarios,
whether
with
the
web
updates,
are
written
to
the
local
cache
first,
when
you're
offline
and
then
they're
uploaded
to
the
cloud
once
the
connection
is
restored.

again,
this
is
a
kind
of
simplistic
diagram,
but
it
should
give
you
a
high
level
overview
of
what
actually
project
nucleus
is
doing
and
where,
where
that
component
is
reside
it
residing
and
so
the
very
first
web
application.
That's
integrated

project
nucleus

microsoft
lists
and
it
brings
a
lot
of
improvements
to
everyday
list.
Experience
and
I'll
show
you
a
demo
of
what
that
looks
like
in
just
a
little
bit,
but
first
it
means
that
you
can
now
load
the
list
app
and
view
and
edit
list
data
when
you're
offline.

loading
and
interacting
with
lists
just
got
a
whole
lot
faster,
whether
you're,
online
or
offline
and
finally,
views
inside
of
the
list,
never
get
throttled.
So
essentially,
project
nucleus
allows
to
bypass
all
the
service
imposed
throughout
throttling
that
might
be
imposed
on
very,
very
large
large
lists
of
very
very
large
data
sets
and,
in
short,
the
lists
are

list

items
in
it.
I
could

easily

created

list
that
had
you

200
000
items
if
I
wanted
to,
but
that's
the
list
that
I
have
it's
still
a
very
very
large
list.
So
it
looks
just
like
the
list
that
you're
you're
used
to
the
only
thing.
That's
really
different
with
this
list.

Is
that
now
it's
powered
by
project
nucleus
and
then
one
easy
way
to
tell
that
it's
you
know
that
list
is
now
special
is
by
the
presence
of
this
little
icon
over
here.
That
just
indicates
that
this
list
list
is
in
sync.
So
all
it
really
means
is
that
the
the
data
for
this
list
is
stored
in
a
local,
smart
cache,
and
so
I
can
still
work
with
this
list.

sort

I

group

and
you
can

that
everything
just
happens
really
really

this
is
what
project
nuke
nucleus
really
enables.

operations
that
I

performed
actually
never

executed

cloud
apis.

were

so

you

actually

behind
the

that
was

this
is
one

main
apis
that
we
use
to
display,

list
data
and
perform
list
operations.

render
list
data
stream.

where
the
magic
is
happening.

if
you
look
at
the
request
url,
so
this
request
never
even
was
made
over
the
network,
so
it
actually
went
to
the
local
secure
web
server.
That
is
essentially
project
nucleus
and
it
handled
that
report.

retrieved
the
data
from
the
smart
cache
and
serve
it
back
back
up
to
the
app
and
so
that
what
really
powers
those
really
fast
interactions,
because
the
network
is
no
no
longer
no
longer
the
bottleneck
but
where
nucleus
truly
shines

by
enabling,
like
fully
offline
scenarios
in
microsoft
list.
So
for
that,
unfortunately,
I
can't
disconnect
from
the
network
because
I'll
be
dropped
from
the

me
just
show
you

it
looks
like
in
a

I
prepared

interacting
with
exact
same
list,
but
when
disconnected
from
the
network.

the
icon
changed
and

it

the

this
local,
smart
cache,
but
hasn't
been
uploaded
yet

the
cloud
because
we're
offline.

working

filter
stuff
and
again
it
looks
like

if
I'm
connected,

I'm
fully
fully
offline.

it
works
when
you're,
fully
disconnected
from

the
network
and
again
that's
where
the
power
of
progressive
web
apps
and
project
nucleus
come
into
play
is
that
it
really
offers
those
immersive
offline
experiences

the

to
work
on
your
web
apps
in
in
any
situation,
be
it
on
the
plane
or
in
a
train
when
you,
when
you
don't
have
reliable
network
connection,
so
that's

shared

somebody

sharing
a

proportion

it's
always
kind
of
in
sync
with
your
what
we
refer
to
as
kind
of
the
word

working
set
of
lists

approach

we
follow
is
that
the
last

rider
wins

speak.

there's
obviously
you
know
scenarios
where
you
can't.

can
apply
this
strategy
universally.

example,

the
same

list,

I
happen
to
disconnect
from
the
network.

is
still
connected
and
this
deletes
a
column
that
I
happen
to
be
editing
offline.

reconnect

trying
to
upload

longer

conflict

the
