deprecation
of
SharePoint,
2013,
workflow

recommending
openly

or
officially

start
using
power
automate
as
the
right
workflow
engine.

they
will.
The
workflow
SharePoint
2013
workflow
will
be
turn
off
for
new
tenants,
starting
from
April,
2nd
2024.
If

existing
tenant
and
that
will
have
that
feature
still
enabled
until
April,
2nd
2026.

shutting
down

creating
apps
in

meant

very

thing,

files
and

and

isn't
really
that
it's
really
this
Json
file
that
kind

defines
on
how
you
want
to
extend.

that's
the
first
thing
and
an
app
is
how
you
customize
or
extend
functionality
in
teams.
So
if
you
want
to
do
something
unique
or
custom
in
there,
then
an
app
is
what
you'll
need
to
create
and
the
Manifest
is
how
you
define
exactly
where

what
you're
customizing
you
host
a
web
content.
So
all
of
these
things
are
hosted
experiences
and
it's
up
to
you
on
where
you
want

extensibility

to

give

some
placeholder
values

be
replaced
by
the
tooling.

order

have
another
environment
like
a
staging
environment

production
environment,

manifest
and
keep
that
in
my
source
control
and
then
the
way
you
can
control
that
is
through
environment
files.
So,
for
example,
this
team's
app
ID
Maps

too

environment
variable
inside
this
local
file
and
we
haven't
defined
it
yet
because
I
haven't
actually
run
the
tooling.

your
app
package,
that's
where
the
team's
kind
of
specific
stuff
is

Manifest

two

hosting

bicep
files

lot

documentation

The
toolkit
helps
you
automate

our
own
definition
of
a

Runner,
so
you
can
think
of
something
like
Gulp
or
grunt,
or
something
like
that.

tuned
specifically
for
teams

so
that's
what
this
file
is,
and
it

if
you've
used
things
like
GitHub
actions
or
an
Azure
devops
pipeline

modeled
very

a
couple
steps

We
have
these
higher
level

broken

kind
of
the
automation

process
for
creating
this
app
into
two
