how
to
enable
out-of-the-box
a
classification
for
SharePoint
sites
in
SharePoint,
Online
classically,
the
site
classification
has
been
one
of
the
requirements
for
a
lot
of
the
customers
and
partners
which
is
driving
people
towards
a
customized
solution
for
the
site
branding.
We
do,
however,
have
a
out-of-the-box
out-of-the-box
eye
classification
capabilities
related
on
the
modern
team
sites
which
are
associated
with
office
365
crew.
A
You
do,
however,
need
to
enable
this
within
your
office,
365
by
configuring
or
usher
ad
group
settings,
and
then,
after
that,
these
options
will
be
available
within
native
SharePoint.
You
are
so,
let's
actually
have
a
look
on
this
one,
so
what
does
it
mean
in
practice
or
what
are
we
covering
here
so
by
default,
when
you
are
using
at
the
modern
UI's
for
provisioning,
modern
groups?
You
do
not
see
this
final
setting
on
the
page,
so
the
setting
number
one
and
two
or
settings
or
spots
number
one
and
on
this
slide.

Let's
have
a
look
on
this
one
in
practice
so
quickly
looking
into
how
does
this
work
after
the
functionality
has
been
enabled
within
a
tenant?
So
if
you
go
to
the
out-of-the-box
modern
team,
site
creation-
and
we
start
creating
here-
let's
say
test123
group-
you
can
see
that
we
have
this
sensitivity,
selection
and
and
sense-data
sensitivity
or
data
classification
selection
on
this
form,
and
you
can
configure
like
mention
one
of
these
values
available
within
the
drop
down,
and
you
can
also
configure.

Where
does
this
link
point
now,
if
somebody
clicks
the
link,
in
my
case,
it's
just
pointing
to
a
PMP
welcome
page
in
dev
tariffs,
calm,
but
obviously
in
the
well
case
it
would
be
a
guidance
document
within,
for
example,
within
your
SharePoint
Online
tenant.
And
now,
if
the
end
user
selects
here
the
for
example,
the
sensitivity
of
the
data
being
MBI
and
we
move
forward
when
the
site
is
being
created.
That
classification
is
stored
within
the
site
level
and
it
stores
within
the
site
that
does
classification
property.

So
right
now
we
are
in
early
September
2017,
and
this
does
not
have
any
additional,
let's
say,
actions
or
policies
or
behavior
behind
of
the
classification.
So
what
it
means
right
now
is
that
we're
essentially
providing
you
that
selection
in
the
sigh
provisioning,
UI
marking
that
site
to
be
classified
like
in
this
case,
we
are
marked
at
our
test
site
to
be
classified
with
an
MBI
classification.

does
that
mean
is
again
up
to
you
and
that
would
then
require
most
likely,
and
if
you
want
to
have
some
sort
of
automation
logic
behind
this,
you
would
implement
some
sort
of
a
a
shell
web
job
or
as
your
functions
or
daemon
processes,
checking
the
sides
and
checking
the
classification
of
the
site
and
based
on
the
classification.
Something
would
happen.

The
key
here
is
to
understand
is
that
in
the
modern
sites,
the
selection
of
this
classification
and
also
the
presentation
of
the
specification
is
natively
there
out
of
the
box
as
long
as
you
enable
the
capability
within
your
SharePoint
and
now
quickly
looking
into
the
NBI.
So
we
can
quickly
have
a
look
on.
How
do
we
get
to
this
one
or
how
do
we
build
the
following
step
on
the
classification,
which
would
be
then
the
automation
step,
so
if
I
use,
for
example,
the
BMP
Connect
BMP
online
and
let's
actually
connect
to
that
site?

we
can
actually
see
how
to
build
that
automation
on
top
of
this
one
or
the
automation
based
on
the
classification.
So
where
is
that
the
information
actually
stored,
I'm
going
to
sign
in
on
my
Testament,
using
the
identity
so
which
have
access
to
that
particular
site?
And
now
I
can
double
check
that
we
are
actually
on
that
particular
site.
So
the
URL
context
matching
so
now,
if
I
take
the
site,
object
and
I
get
actually
do
exactly
the
same,
get
the
NPS
site.
We
get
the
site
object
stored
within
the
memory
for
the
site.

need
to
tell
that
if
we,

we
need
to
load
additional
information
like
the
site
or
classification,
it
is
not
there
by
default.
So
if
I
decide
that
classification
to
value
is
same
thing,
because
we
haven't
actually
loaded
that
property,

load
that
into
being
in
the
PowerShell
quite
easily,
so
you
could
do
get
BMP
property
and
our
client
object
being
the
site
object
in
this
case,
and
we
are
interested
on
a
property
called
classify
classification.

We
can
actually
say
that
the
property
value
being

behind.
So
this
is
how
you
would
actually
then
build
your
automation
on
top
of
that
classification
or,
if
you
have
in
the
future,
we
might
might
not
have
native
automation
some
level
of
an
automation
behind
off
the
stacking,
and
you
can
absolutely,
in
the
future,
have
a
custom
solutions
based
on
this
classification,
which
are
checking,
for
example,
if
it's
a
hbi
that
site
collection
should
not
have
external
users
arresting
or
sharing
in
ableton.
All
of
that,
so
it's
classic
example
of
a
policy.

Now,
how
do
I
actually
enable
this
so
if
I
jump
to
another
tenant,
so
this
is
a
completely
different
tenant
and
if
I
go
to
the
create
site,
you
can
see
that
this
is
in
the
default
status
of
the
tenant
configuration.
So
if
I
start
creating
a
site,
we
do
not
see
that
selection
in
this
form
and
how
would
I
then
enable
the
selection
uniform
now
I'll
do
that
with
Azure
ad
pouches,
so
we
don't
need
to
actually
do
any
actual
customization.

is
a
configuration
against
the
usher
ad
behind
of
tottenham,
so
you'll
need
to
use
right
now
in
the
early
September.
You
would
have
to
use
the
ad
preview
module,
which
is

template

group
unified,
and

my
case

do
is
that
I'm
gonna
actually
create
an
instance
to
the
template
by
executing
that
following
line
and
then
I
want
to
set
up
a
new
set
of
settings
based
on
the
template,
and
then
we
configure
these
individual
properties
based
on.
Well,
that's
the
property
for
what
is
the
URL,
where
people
are
being
redirected
if
they
click
link
in
the
form?
What
is
the
classification
list?
So
what
are
the
values
which
are
being
visible
in
the
lists?
It's
a
comma
separated
selection,
so
I
can
absolutely
do
this
as
well.

I
can
also
define
the
default
classification,
so
if
somebody
creates
a
site
or
office
365
group
outside
of
the
of
the
you
is
what
is
the
default
setting
for
those
groups
and
then
we
are
actually
adding
that
setting
to
our
ad
directory.
So
let's
execute
this
one
and
so
I'm
gonna
execute
setting
those
settings
and
I'm
gonna
actually
create
that
setting
Russia
ad
and
there
we
go.
Now
we
have
a
configuration
in
Azure
ad,
which
has
some
values,
so
the
following
steps
are
more
or
less
only
for
further
analysis
of
the.

What
did
we
just
do
so
I'm
going
to
take
the
ID
or
actually,
let's
first
get
washer
ad
directory
settings.
So
if
I
execute
this
one,
it
will
give
show
me
that
I
only
have
a
one
setting
available.
It
does
not
show
me
current
values
of
those
settings
and
to
be
able
to
do
that,
and
it
actually
could
one
step
deeper.
So
I'm
gonna
copy
that
ID
I'm
going
to
paste
this
one
in
here
and
I'm,
going
to
exit
that
one.

Now,
that's
actually
showing
showing
me
the
individual
values,
for
example
the
default
classification
and
all
of
the
other
settings
which
are
available
for
a
sure
ad
group
or
for
other
ad
group
handling.
So
you
can
see
that
there's
certain
other
additional
settings
which
we
can
control
from
here
as
well.
You
can
absolutely
download
or
get
an
instance
to
the
Texas
thing
setting
and
then
modify
those
options.

If
you
need
to
do
so
and
then
set
that
again
under
ad
and
obviously
no
doubt
you
can
also
delete
those
settings
from
your
ad
now
we
have
now
applied
the
setting
and
just
to
be
super
clear
on
this
one
as
well.
It
nots
written
take
a
while
to
get
that
setting
visible
within
your
office
365
tenant.
So
if
I
now
go
to
my
site,
if
we
reload
this
page,
you
do
not
see
that
setting
to
be
impacted
immediately.
It
takes
within
a
while.

say
even
the

and
you
define
those
settings
you
configure
that
once
and
then
it
will
be
visible
for
your
end
users
from
that
moment
forward,
but
like
mention,
you
need
to
wait
awhile
until
that
additional
classification
setting
will
be
available
within
this
UI,
but
after
it
will
be
available,
and
you
will
then
say
if
you
go
back
on
the
on
the
SharePoint
site.
So
this
is
the
site
and
tenant
where
it
has
been
created.

then
say
that
additional
option
around
the
classification
of
the
data
and
those
options
which
you
have
defined
in
your
ad,
also
including
the
URL
configuration
for
the
guidelines.
So
that's
it

Plastically
site
classification
has
required
some
level
of
a
customization.
We
do
acknowledge
that
this
is
a
really
high
level,
classification
definition.
But
the
key
point
here
is
that
you
can
do
classification
within
the
modern
science
by
using
this
capability.

can
control
those
options
by
using
the
azure
ad
comment:
let's
again
stash
your
ad
behind
off
your
office,
365,
tenant,
you're,
able
to
control
default
settings
and
also
link
settings,
and
when
you
enable
that
that
information
will
be
visible
also
in
a
site
level
based
on
your
selection.
So,
if
I
leave
from
here-
and
we
flip
back
on
the
site
which
we
created,
we
can
see
that
based
on
the
selection,
what
then
choose
the
date?
