From YouTube: Montgomery Board of Adjustment (8/20/20)
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
You
board
of
adjustments
as
a
nine
member
board,
we're
appointed
by
the
city
council
when
we
serve
on
a
voluntary
basis
without
compensation.
Our
procedure
for
conducting
business
is
I'll
call
the
name
of
the
petitioner.
If
you
will
please
come
to
the
podium,
speak
loudly
and
clearly
into
the
mic
so
that
everyone
up
here
can
understand
your
presentation.
B
Any
testimony
that
is
submitted
by
the
petitioner
or,
on
behalf
of
the
petitioner
during
the
presentation
of
the
agenda
item
will
be
binding
as
to
any
decision.
The
board
makes
relative
to
the
motion
remind
board
members
that
if
you
make
a
motion
to
deny
an
item,
you
must
give
a
reason
this
time
I'll
introduce
our
members
that
are
here
tonight.
B
I'll
remind
you
that
any
I
any
motion
that
is
made
requires
a
vote
of
five
of
our
board
members.
Any
questions
item
number
eight
excuse
me.
Item
number
seven
has
been
delayed
to
the
next
meeting,
our
first
any
question.
B
Our
first
item
on
the
agenda
tonight
is
presented
by
flowers
and
white
engineering
representing
first
baptist
church,
requesting
a
special
exception
for
church
related
use
and
a
street
side
yard
variance
for
an
addition
to
the
building
located
at
380
harvest
street
in
the
b-2
zoning
district.
Mr
flowers.
C
Good
evening,
brad,
flowers
with
flowers
and
white
engineering
and
we're
representing
first
baptist
church
on
this,
the
building
that
we're
requesting
the
special
exception
to
use
for
is
the
old,
montgomery
office
equipment.
Building
there
on
the
corner
of
arba
and
south
hole
street
first
baptist
is
purchasing
it
to
turn
it
into
their
caring
center.
C
If
y'all
are
familiar
with
the
caring
center,
basically
outreach
to
the
community
for
goods
groceries,
clothing,
things
of
that
nature,
so
that
has
turned
into
a
an
available
property
and
first
baptist
willing
to
purchase
that
and
use
it
for
that.
They'll
be
limited
people
in
there,
as
they
only
have
room
for
a
certain
amount
of
people
and
obviously
with
the
cove
and
they'll,
be
spacing
those
out
when
they're
coming
in.
If
we
do
get
back
in
before
this
cove,
it's
done.
C
C
The
front
of
the
building
they'll
basically
just
be
adding
a
little
vestibule
off
the
front
of
the
building
and
then
on
the
back
side,
where
there's
a
loading
dock
they'll
be
fencing
that
in
and
extending
the
loading
dock
out
a
little
bit
to
give
them
a
little
better
use
for
the
vehicles
that
they
have
coming
in.
C
C
What
we're
doing
on
that,
mr
stanley,
is
we're
going
to
be
taken
out?
If
you
look
at
the
arrow,
that's
up
there
now
the
northern
drive
on
hull
street
and
it
doesn't
show
up
real
good.
But
if
you
look
back
at
the
arrow
yeah
there's
a
there
was
a
curb
cut.
Two
curb
cuts
on
hall
street,
the
northern
one
were
taken
out.
That's
good.
C
Yeah
I
didn't
like
that,
and
what
we've
done
is
change
the
layout.
If
that
you
can
scroll
to
the
aerial
view
next
page
right
there,
what
we've
done
on
the
east
side,
you
see
those
parking
existing
90
degree
parking.
Well,
there's
nowhere
near
enough
room
for
those
to
back
out.
So
we've
turned
this
into
a
one-way,
so
you
enter
off
arba
and
then
come
down
and
go
through
the
lot
with
one-way
parking
diagonal
parking
as
you
come
down
the
east
side
of
the
building
and
exit
back
out
onto
whole
street.
C
B
C
I
don't
know
all
of
it,
but
from
my
understanding
with
mr
williams,
scott
williams,
architect,
there
will
be
some
pack
lighting
around.
I
don't
know
the
extent
of
that
or
how
much,
but
they
will
have
lighting
on
the
building.
I.
B
Become
a
standard
procedure
for
us,
correct,
okay,
excellent
use,
any
questions
board
members.
A
B
Well,
it's
it's
a
great
use,
and
this
is
the
alternative
to
converting
correct
the
first
presbyterian
church
property,
much
better
location,
yeah.
C
C
D
D
B
B
D
D
You
might
be
able
to
see
it,
but
I
can't
see
it
but
there's
a
brick
wall
that
runs
the
length
of
all
along
bone
road
parallel
to
vaughn
road
and
that
yellow
line
would
go
from
my
house
to
the
inside
of
that
brick
wall
and
it
would
be.
It
would
be
completely
invisible
to
anybody
going
that
from
that
direction
and
because
of
the
trees
and
shrubs.
D
I
don't
think
it
would
be
very
visible
to
anybody
coming
from
the
other
direction
and
it
would
be
no
higher
than
the
brick
wall
and
if
you'll
also
notice,
I
don't
know
if
you
can
see
it
or
not,
but
but
the
house
adjacent
to
me
has
one
that's
in
my
backyard.
That
does
the
same
thing.
It
goes
to
the
brick
wall
and
the
roof.
D
D
No
higher
than
the
brick
wall
not
higher
than
not
higher,
and
the
reason
that
I
want
it
is
that
you
can't
tell
from
looking
at
that
photograph,
but
that
entire
side
of
my
house
is,
or
the
vast
majority
of
that
side
of
my
house
is
glass
patios,
and
that
is
where
our
living
room
is
and
the
traffic
coming
from.
In
from
that
direction,
especially
in
the
evenings,
the
lights
glare
in
there-
and
I
haven't.
D
B
B
B
Item
three
is
presented
by
pastor
herbert
mccoy,
representing
christian
faith,
worship
center,
requesting
a
special
exception
for
church
to
be
located
at
2601
fairground
road
in
a
b-2
district,
sir,
you
may
want
to
remove
your
mask,
so
we
can
hear
you
clearly:
okay,
that's
good
we're!
Okay
with
that.
E
Okay,
we
asked
some
requests.
They
told
us
that
we
have
to
have
our
permission
from
our
neighbors
next
door
to
us
to
get
permission
from
them
to
park
on
the
office
and
on
the
on
their
parking.
E
We
got
letters
from
them
and
sent
it
down
to
smith.
We
got
the
letters
we,
we
retained
the
letters
and
we
sent
the
letters
down.
I
don't
know
if
you
guys
had
a
letter
tonight
with
you
guys,
but
we
got
the
letters
and
we
sent
them
downtown.
E
E
B
E
B
B
E
B
Everything's
inside
okay,
well,
as
I
mentioned
a
while
ago,
we
like
see
a
lot
of
exterior
lighting,
okay,
but
directional
lighting,
so
it
doesn't
annoy
your
adjacent
property
owners.
Okay.
So
if
you're
going
to
have
nighttime
activities,
it
looks
like
you
might
be
there
as
late
as
7
30
8
o'clock
on
wednesday
night
be
sure
you've
got
plenty
of
lighting.
Okay,
yes,
sir.
E
We're
on
the
corner
we're
on
we're
on
the
corner,
fairground
road.
So
it's
no
houses
where
we're
at
the
house
starts
behind
the
building,
actually,
where
the
houses
are
behind
the
building
and
go
on.
B
B
B
E
B
E
I
think
the
boards
ought
to
consider
making
the
request
subject
to
the
agreement
with
the
property
owner
next
door
staying
in
place,
because
it's.
F
B
Just
think
it
needs
to
be,
mr
mccoy.
The
the
point
that
we
want
to
make
to
you
is
that,
first
of
all,
our
approval
does
not
allow
own
street
parking
you,
your
your
members,
are
gonna
have
to
park
on
your
lot
and
on
this
additional
parking
lot
that
you
should.
E
E
E
B
And
so
you
know
oklahoma
streets,
just
a
small
two-lane
street
through
there
anyway
right.
So
it's
it's
not
allowed
on
oklahoma
street
or
on
fairground
road.
Most
people
don't
park
on
fairground
road
anyway,
but
our
approval
is
going
to
be
made
suddenly
to
you
maintaining
approval
on
that
additional
parking.
E
E
B
E
B
A
B
A
A
B
Tanya
you
got
that
okay
any
so
I
have
a
second
to
that
motion.
A
B
B
E
B
A
I
just
need
approval
to
have
a
mobile
home
on
this
property
that
I
just
purchased.
A
B
And
then
you're
going
to
place
the
mobile
home
in
the
same
spot
right.
A
B
Okay,
now,
what
we
have
here
is
that
you
intend
to
put
it
40
feet
off
the
front
property
line,
whereas
50
feet
is
required,
so
you're
asking
for
a
10
foot,
front
yard
variance.
Is
there
no
way
you
can
move
it
back
50
or
does
it
need
to
be
at
40
feet.
A
I
can,
but
we
said
40
because
it'll
be
aligned
with
all
the
rest
of
the
houses
on
the
street.
B
A
B
A
We
got
to
make
sure
that
that
that
is,
there
is
demolished
right
before.
B
B
A
B
B
A
B
F
B
A
A
B
A
Doing
well
slight
change
of
plans.
My
name
is
david
donovan,
I'm
an
architect
at
ccn
litchfield
helping
the
homeowner.
The
variance
was
applied
by
the
contractor
wesley
black,
but
the
request
is
for
a
front
yard
variance.
The
home
was
purchased
by
dr
colvin
last
year
and
it
predates
the
1985
zoning
ordinance.
So
the
platte
has
a
40-foot
setback,
whereas
the
zoning
ordinance
has
a
50-foot
front
yard
setback.
D
B
G
G
There's
some
trees
there
now,
but
we
thought
we
can
trim
them
up,
cut
them
down.
B
Mr
salary,
are
you
gonna,
have
any
exterior
activities
related
to
this
event
center?
Is
everything
going
to
be
contained
within
the
building.
G
B
B
You're,
together,
okay,
good,
so
normally,
if
you're
this
close
to
a
residential
structure,
we
really
need
to
know
the
extent
of
what
you're
going
to
do.
Are
you
going
to
have
noise
outside
the
building
everything
going
to
be
contained
in
the
building?
That's
important
here?
Okay,
all
you
are.
You
gonna
serve
alcoholic
beverages,
yes,
so
all
that'll
be
contained
inside
the
building.
Yes,
all
events
inside
the
building,
yeah,
okay,
I'm
not
trying
to
put
words
in
your
mouth,
I'm
just
trying
to
get.
G
B
G
B
You
mean
okay,
you're,
going
north
on.
B
B
G
B
Get
it
like
we
did
with
the
church
a
while
ago,
if
we
approve
this,
it's
going
to
be
subject
to
you
having
parking,
because
right
now
you
don't
have
enough
parking
and
you
sure,
can't
park
in
todd
road.
No,
you
can't
park
on
that
that
side
strip,
whatever
that
is,
that
looks
like
an
unimproved
dirt
road
running
down
the
side
there
and
and
and
that's
an
unimproved
parking
area.
It's
not
paved
correct,
it's
not
paved
so
what
happens
when
it
rains
and
becomes
a
mud
factor,
and
we.
G
B
Any
questions
board
members
I
mean
we
gotta.
I
think
we
we
need
to
make
sure
we're
real
comfortable
with
this
use.
Mr
mr
hughes,.
F
F
B
Right,
okay,
that
that's
that
dot,
that
represents
the
center
of
that
250
foot
radius,
steve
got
it
okay!
Thank
you,
sir
okay!
So
there's
several
homes
around
there
that
affected
and
and
as
you
can
see,
the
zoning
is
there's
some
b2
where
you'll
be
parking,
this
v2,
but
everything
else
around
it
on
that
side
of
wetumpka
highway
is
r50,
which
is
single-family
residential.
B
Mr
salary
can
do
you
think
you
can
get
us
some
kind
of
a
written
agreement?
Yes,
before
we
make
a
decision
on
this,
yes,
and
I
would
like
to
see
a
that's
just
me
now
I'd
like-
and
I
think
I
can
speak
for
the
board-
I'd
like
to
see
a
written
agreement
regarding
the
parking
I'd
like
to
see
what
you're
going
to
do
with
the
parking
lot.
B
Okay,
because
if
you
don't
pave
it
or
put
even
put
gravel
on
it,
it's
going
to
become
a
mud,
hole,
real
quick,
you
know
and
if
you've
got
people
parking
over
there
they're
all
going
to
be
dumping
out
onto
todd
road.
I
know
todd
road,
real,
well,
well,
we've
and
we
I'd
like
to
request
a
parking
plan,
because
this
this
is.
This
is
a
use
that
may
have
a
lot
of
people
there.
B
If
you
had
a
wedding,
for
example,
hosted
a
wedding
there,
you
could
have
as
many
as
50
or
60
people
coming
and
going.
They
may
not
all
be
in
the
structure
at
one
time,
but
they
may
be
out
and
around
you
know,
and
you
need
to
rethink.
Are
you
going
to
allow
exterior
events,
because
if
you
had
a
wedding
party
and
they
want
to
have
the
wedding
party
outside,
if
you
said
you're
not
going
to
have
anything
outside,
then
you
would
be
restricted
from
that
so
trying
to
help
you
think
through
this?
