From YouTube: Montgomery Board of Adjustment (4/18/19)
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
B
Thank
you.
The
Board
of
Adjustment
is
a
nine-member
board,
we're
appointed
by
the
City
Council
and
we
serve
on
a
voluntary
basis
without
compensation.
Our
procedure
for
conducting
businesses
I'll
call
out
the
name
of
the
petitioner.
If
you
will,
please
come
to
the
mic
and
the
podium
and
speak
clearly
and
loudly
into
the
mic,
so
that
we
can
understand
your
presentation,
anyone
that
has
an
interest
in
that
particular
item
that
might
have
some
questions
or
any
opposition
to
that
item
will
be
given
the
opportunity
to
come
forward,
enforce
their
concerns
and
any
questions.
B
Once
we
receive
public
testimony
and
discussion
for
that
particular
item,
members
of
the
board
will
deliberate
and
we
will
render
our
decision
I'll
remind
the
members
with
any
personal
or
financial
interest.
In
any
particular
item
you
required
to
recuse
yourself
from
voting.
Any
testimony
that
is
submitted
by
the
petitioner
on
behalf
of
the
petitioner
during
the
presentation
of
the
agenda
item
will
be
binding
as
to
any
decision.
The
board
makes
relative
to
the
motion.
B
I
remind
them
all
board
members
that
if
you
make
a
motion
to
deny
an
item,
you
must
give
a
reason
this
time.
I'll
introduce
the
members
of
the
board
that
are
here
tonight
and
we
actually
I
have
eight
out
of
our
nine
members:
mr.
Cady
Brown
mr.
Steve
Hughes
mr.
Nathan
Williams
mr.
beau
Holmes
mr.
Corey
Johnson
mr.
Bart
Prince,
mr.
George
Howell
jr.
and
I'm
John
Stanley,
your
chairman,
our
staff.
That's
here
tonight
is
mr.
Tommy
Tyson
mr.
James
center
and
Miss
Adina
Kramer.
B
B
B
Requesting
a
coverage
variants,
a
rear
yard,
variance
separation
between
structures,
variants,
a
height
variance
and
a
street
side
yard
variance,
Vaness
for
accessory
structures
and
a
privacy
fence
to
be
located.
3/7
Oh,
Mitchell,
Avenue
and
403
West
Ferry
Road
in
an
AR
100
single-family
zoning
district.
B
Mr.
Sanford
you've
got
several
items
here:
yeah.
If
you
would
I'm
gonna,
ask
you
to
walk
through
each
one
of
them.
Okay,
to
try
to
try
to
answer
as
many
questions
as
possible
on
the
front
end
I
think
they're.
There.
There
may
be
some
opposition
here
tonight:
opposition
if
you
will
you'll
be
given
that
opportunity
to
come
forward
and
express
any
concerns.
D
Have
yeah
what
you
got
needed?
Okay,
okay,
basically
on
the
line.
What's
creating
the
situation
is
there's
a
driveway
that
was
cut
from
the
back
of
the
lot
on
the
high
ground.
It
was
so
new,
gravel,
driveway,
exactly
that's
on
the
high
ground.
It's
also
cut
through
in
such
a
way
that
it
doesn't
I
didn't
have
to
remove
many
trees.
Minimum
amount
of
trees
have
been
removed.
It's
on
the
high
ground.
Had
the
driveway
been
anywhere
else.
D
I
would
have
had
a
double
triple
up
the
rock
it
would
have
had
drainage
problems
so
that
necessitated
B,
which
my
understanding,
that's
the
variance
I'm
asking
for
with
that
building
be
right
there
on
that
back
far
corner
is
about
three
and
a
half
four
feet
at
the
shortest
distance.
On
the
back
corner
on
the
front
right
corner,
it's
about
eight
and
a
half
feet
versus
ten
feet.
The
existing
building
is
a
cinder
block.
Building
its
fire
resistant
building,
that's
building
a
that's
it,
the
straight
it
straight.
D
It's
a
little
hard
to
see,
but
to
the
top
right
is
building
a
as
an
existing
cinder
block
building
in
four
B
to
sit
where
it
sits,
had
I
moved
it
up,
it
would
have
said
into
the
driveway
and
stopped
passage
of
vehicles
through
the
driveway.
So
therefore
it
needs
a
slight
variance
off
the
back
so
that
it
doesn't
hinder
the
flow
through
of
vehicles
coming
through
on
the
front
part
of
it
had
I
moved
the
driveway
up.
D
Any
further
I
would
have
to
take
out
a
big,
huge,
beautiful
oak
tree,
and
so
we
maintained
oak
tree
and
at
the
same
time
put
on
the
high
ground.
So
though,
as
far
as
the
RV
cover
is
concerned,
that
is
why
asking
for
the
two
slight
variances
one
on
the
right
and
one
on
the
left,
the
B
building
will
be
a
metal
covered
building,
so
be
a
fire
resistant
building
on
the
back
other
than
that
it'll
be
open.
Building
it's
for
my
RV!
D
For
my
25
foot,
axis
RZ,
I'm,
sorry,
that's
building,
baby
building
big
in
the
middle
will
be
RV
and
there's
two
wings
one
for
a
trailer
and
went
further.
My
little
truck
so
to
keep
them
protected
from
the
weather
to
keep
them
under
cover
insurance
requirements.
That's
why
building
would
be
for
the
use
of
protection
of
my
assets.
Building
C
really
doesn't
have
any
various
requirements,
I
guess
other
than
the
fact
I
mentioned
that
what
building
C
is
it's
a
sewing
shed
or
a
quilting
shed
that
I
got
for
my
wife
who
that's
her
hobby?
B
C
D
It's
a
hobby,
not
a
not
a
business,
she
does
it
for
friends
and
relatives
and
her
equipment.
Some
of
our
equipment
is
weaver,
weaving
equipment
and
looms,
and
things
like
that
that
she
does
her
work
with.
So
it's
a
dream
of
her
to
have
that
building
and
it's
a
dream
for
me
to
provide
that
building
for
her
and
again
it's
not
a
business
or
anything
of
that
nature.
That's
what
building
C
is
and
I
think
and
then
I
think.
The
last
issue
with
the
yellow
outline
is
for
a
fence
for
our
protection.
D
The
fence
is
such
a
way
that
it
adheres
to
the
land
and
that
it
clears
the
tree
line,
so
we
don't
have
to
take
out
any
more
trees.
It's
a
proposal,
six
foot
fence,
obviously
for
privacy
and
protection.
We
have
a
little
dachshund
dog
and
coyotes
have
been
spotted
in
the
area
as
I'm
sure
you
guys
have
heard
about.
So
it's
for
the
protection,
our
12
year
old
Datsun
as
well
as
you
know,
grandchildren
they
come
over
and
so
forth,
and
so
on.
So
that's
the
proposed
fence.
It's
a
six.
D
B
D
B
D
B
D
B
D
I
talked
to
the
contractor
and
I
said:
is
there
any
part
of
the
pond
I
said
any
stone
and
turn
anything?
We
need
to
do
and
make
sure
everything's
aboveboard
here,
and
he
said
you
may
need
a
permit
and
I
said
well.
I
need
a
permanent,
he
said.
Yes,
you
will,
he
said
I
got
a
the
contractor
said:
I
got
to
go
downtown
anyway.
I
said
how
much
is
the
permit
he's
a
25
I
wrote
him
a
check
for
25.
He
brought
the
per
minute,
I.
D
D
B
D
C
D
Is
an
existing
building?
It's
a
cinderblock
building
here,
no
there
when
we
since
cleaned
it
up
and
painted
it,
but
it
stores
a
riding
lawnmower,
distort
the
leaf
apparatus
behind
them
more
to
pick
up
all
the
leaves
that
we
get.
It's
got
to
work
benches
in
there
where
I
go
back
and
work
in
houses,
ladders,
a
lot
of
yard
equipment
and
home-improvement
equipment
which
is
needed
for
such
a
big
lot.
Okay,.
D
C
is
on
concrete,
ballz,
six
concrete
blocks
and
leveled.
It
was
brought
in
by
truck
leveled
and
put
on
I
bought
the
brick
concrete
blocks,
solid
blocks
to
put
them
on
and
level
it
eventually
when
we
get
moving
forward,
but
it
will
skirt
it
with
a
little
red
brick
to
look
real
nice.
It
will
landscape
and
put
a
little
patio
out
there,
so
it
is
on
a
foundation
and
leveled.

B
D
Real
quick
I
did
a
survey
just
just
to
do
a
survey
I
went
around
talked
to
all
my
neighbors
and
I
can
show
this
to
you
for
the
most
part
responses
where
it
looks
great.
Please
continue
what
you
do
and
thanks
for
the
improvement
and
there's
a
couple
pages,
so
I
think
most
of
make
at
least
from
who
I've
talked
to
get
most
of
neighbors
are
very
positive
and
really
liked
what
we've
done.
Okay,
all.
E
B
E
In
concrete
sticking
up
there,
I
look
out
of
my
kitchen
window.
I,
see
buildings,
see
I,
look
out
of
my
dining
and
when
I
see
buildings
see
I,
look
out
of
my
living
room
window
in
our
C
building,
C
and
I'm
unopposed.
Any
variant
seen
wants
to
do
anything
to
that
property.
I've
been
living
in
that
25
years,
it's
a
residential
community
and
from
all
appearance,
he's
gonna
put
some
type
of
business
in
there,
because
I
saw
a
truck
over
there
with
a
Sanford
logo
on
the
side
of
it.
Just
recently,.

B
F
F
You
know
I'm,
certainly
not
opposed
to
the
fence,
because
you've
got
the
you
know.
Mitchell
Avenue
is
a
lot
higher
and
the
yard
has
the
slopes
of
the
fence
is
actually
gonna,
be
the
toe
of
the
slope.
You
know
from
the
road
you'll
be
able
to
see
right
over,
you
won't
be
able
to
see
and
it
will
match
up
with
the
fence
behind
a
lot.
So.
F
F
E
C
C
D
B
B
F
Know
I
talked
to
both
of
them.
I
asked
her.
You
know,
I
said
you.
Somebody
needs
to
be
able
to
compromise
in
some
way.
I
mean
you
know
he
I,
don't
know
what
that
compromise
is
I'm.
I
would
like
everybody
to
you
know
get
along
as
neighbors
I
certainly
see
mr.
Malcolm
side
of
it,
and
you
know
I
understand,
he's
wanting
to
have
his
home
to
retire.
He's
from
Montgomery
kept
moved
back
to
Montgomery.
F
C
F
By
only
by
the
virtue
of
the
you
know,
there's
the
way
it's
changing.
The
look
I
mean
I,
think
you
know
he's.
Building
C
is
painted
to
match.
Building
a
building.
C
is
a
not
a
thrifty
building.
This
Oh
like
a
wood
or
either
synthetic.
You
know,
Hardy
board
type,
deciding
structure
and
then
B
I
mean
this
once
he
realizes
he
was
in
violation.
He
stopped
construction
on
that.
F
E
B
A
D
D
B
D
B
C
I
just
wanted
to
clear
up
in
k-series
any
issues
I
mean
he
was
mentioned,
there's
a
business.
He
saw
something
with
Sanford
and
associates
on
it.
That
is
Dickies
brother
who
owns
a
contracting
business.
He
was
visiting
us
there's,
no
business
I,
don't
intend
to
do
any
business
in
my
sewing
studio
whatsoever,
good
just.
C
C
My
name
is
Linda
fields
and
I
live
at
377
Mitchell,
which
is
directly
kitty-corner
to
the
C
building
on
the
corner.
Lot
and
I
would
look
at
Malcolm's
how
I
can
see
Malcolm's
house
at
the
drive
from
his
house
behind
B
and
C.
The
access
to
the
back
and
I
can
see
mr.
mrs.
Sanford's
house
daily
from
both
living
room
and
bedroom.
So
I
have
no
problem.
It's
neat,
it's
clean.
It's
not
obtrusive
and
I
agree
with
Miss
Brown.
C
D
A
D
B
C
It
might
solve
some
of
all
the
disagreement
that
they
have
in
solve.
Some
need
for
the
variance
to
where
we
allow
a
and
C,
but
we
don't
allow
B,
he
could
park
his
are
being
somewhere
else
and
it
takes
care
of
a
lot
of
the
variance
the
struggle
it
takes
care
of
the
coverage
you
need,
and
that
goes
away
because
you
don't
have
the
anymore.
C
C
A
A
B
Well,
I'm
gonna
Restatement
as
I
understand
the
motion.
All
the
variances
are
approved,
except
we're
not
approving,
structure
beam,
which
is
the
RV
Hobart
you
removed
a
building
B
then
you've
eliminated
most
of
the
coverage
issues.
You've
eliminated
the
separation
between
buildings
and
you've
eliminated
the
setback
in
the
in
the
rear
right.
Mr.
time,
Tyson,
yes,
okay!
So
that's.
B
B
B
Hands
Rachel
yeah,
it's
unanimous,
eight
to
zero.
Okay.
Mr.
Sanford,
you
understand
what
we
just
did.
We
approved
everything
you
wanted
except
building
D,
yes,
B
as
in
boy
now.
Okay,
now
let
me
let
me
say
this
just
so
you'll
know
you
can
always
come
back
and
reapply
for
them.
Okay,
there's
nothing
that
prevents
you
from
coming
back
and
asking
for
that
at
a
later
time.
But
this
motion,
this
decision
is
based
on
eliminating
building
B.

especially
for
volunteering
volunteering.
To
do
this.
I
have
purchased
property
on
MacGowan
Street
I've.
Had
it
for
a
couple
of
years
and
I
have
a
nonprofit
organization
is
called
TS,
Mars
youth
intervention
and
we're
just
adding
the
ministry
part
to
it.
A
Beautiful
thank
you
for
coming
into
the
community,
we're
trying
to
get
it
and
build
it
up,
and
everything
and
the
children
really
need
it.
The
young
people.
They
really
need
what
you're
doing,
because
we
got
so
many
community
centers
closed
down
and
nowhere
for
them
to
go
no
work
for
them
to
participate
in
anything.
I
love!
You
thank
you.
E
Plan
a
development
plan
will
be
required
before
any
of
this
can
take
place,
and
you
know
a
suitable
type
structure
and,
of
course,
if
it
doesn't
meet
the
guidelines,
that
would
be
the
35-foot
when
you
pop
in
line
if
it
needs
any
type
of
relief
from
the
variance
whatever
y'all
will
see.
It
again
will
see
your
master
plan,
yes,
sir,
but
if
it
meets
the
parameters,
you
will
not
just
want
to
make
sure.

on

of

architecture,
we're
requesting
an
exception
to
allow
for
a
surface
parking
lot
on
the
corner,
the
southwest
corner
of
Glenn,
Palmer
and
Forest
Avenue.
We're
also
asking
for
relief
from
the
requirement
for
a
bicycle
rack,
which
is
required
in
smart
code.
That's
correct,
right
and,
and
the
reason
being
is,
this
is
kind
of
a
remote
parking
area
and
we
anticipate
if
they're
bicyclist,
they're
gonna
want
to
want
to
park
further
into
the
campus
okay.

structure
to
be
located
at
the
south
at
and
on
the
southside
of
Milton
Street,
approximately
70
feet
west
of
Virginia
Avenue
and
a
t4o
zoning
district.
Mr.
sankyou,
yes,.
B
C
Want
an
accessory
structure
adjacent
to
the
dwelling
that
we
currently
live
in,
which
is
our
primary
residence.
We
want
to
do
what's
coming
in
for
it
to
as
a
man
cave
and
so
just
we
can.
You
know,
entertain
folks
who
come
without
taking
into
the
main
dwelling
now
for
a
better
appreciation
of
where
we
are
and
so
forth.
I
actually
brought
some
pictures.
If
the
gentleman
would
put
the
picture
of
the
house
up,
I
would
appreciate
it
with
your
permission,
mr.
chambers
sure.
C
That
is
the
house
that
we
turn
to
live
in
and
you
can
see
the
driveway
and
right
in
the
back.
That's
where
we
want
the
accessory
structure
and
that's
another
picture
to
better
to
give
you
to
give
you
a
better
privilege.
Well
that
just
asked
for
that.
That's
we
took
some
pictures
in
the
neighborhood
of
accessory
structures
to
kind
of
give
you
I,
guess
you
I'm
sure
you
know
what
they
are,
but
we
just
took
some
pictures
to
the
neighborhood
to
talk
about
now.
That
is
the
yard
there.

Of
property
near
the
intersection
there
of
Adamson
hall,
that
is,
to
lots
and
we've
already
placed
the
plant
with
the
Planning
Commission
for
consideration
of
putting
it
into
one
lot
as
you've
been
talking
about,
and
we've
also
been
before
the
Planning
Commission
for
a
public
hearing
on
the
development
plan
and
received
favorable
responses
from
all
the
technical
departments.
But
we
are
about
four
percent
over.

C
I
mean
it's
Michael
Tony
and
put
up
she's
got
a
illness
last
call
court
down
that
somebody
put
up,
didn't
put
it
up
proper
fallings
been
up
about
a
year.
She
contacted
me
want
me
to
put
you
know:
tear
it
down
pretty
new
one
up,
she's
got
the
privacy
fence
right
there
and,
of
course,
she's
got
her
neighbor
right
there,
so
we
went
to
get
it
approved,
go
about
it
right
way
before
we
build
this
thing.
For
us,
it's
about
little
M
foot
wide
about
36
foot,
long,
okay,.
