what's
next

So
gonna
take
probably
the
first
half
of
this
to
talk
about
where
we
are
today,
where
we're
going
and
then
I
actually
want
to
Pivot
into
a
a
demo
of
our
product.

where
are
we
with
everything
today?
Let's
start
here.
So
these
are
some
of
the
major
brands
that
have
actually
adopted
a
web
3
strategy
through
nfts
Nike
has
partnered
with
a
nft
brand
called
artifact,
and
they
have
quite
a
extensive
lineup
of
products
coming
down.
That
is
very
exciting,
so
that's
something
that
we
should
all
be
paying
attention
to
Pepsi
launched
a
project.
Earlier
in
the
year,
we
have
several
sports
teams
that
have
entered
the
arena
as
well.

We
have
some
fine
jewelry
with
Tiffany
that
got
into
it,
which
is
exciting,
and
yesterday
we
had
this
announcement
with
Starbucks
that
they
are
launching
their
own
loyalty
program,
surrounded
by
nfts
and
so
there's.
Clearly,
a
lot
of
investment
going
into
the
technology.
People
are
trying
to
figure
out
exactly
what
to
do
and
I
think
that
to
date,
there's
a
lot
of
experimenting
happening,
but
it's
where
we're
moving
forward.
There's
a
lot
of
really
interesting
things
that
major
brands
are
about
to
dive
into.

But
that's
the
problem.
The
first
mover
Advantage
is
extremely
risky.
You
have
these
brands
that
have
frankly
a
lot
on
the
line,
and
so
when
they
are
making
a
bet
on
an
nft
strategy
or
approach,
they
need
to
be
fairly
certain
with
the
level
of
confidence
that
what
they're
doing
is
going
to
last,
and
so
many
of
these
brands
that
I
kind
of
prefaced
with
have
spent
that
time.

If
the
brand
values
them
they're
going
to
invest
more
time
with
them,
they're
going
to
buy
more
product
from
them
and
at
the
end
of
the
day,
if
you
have
a
loyal
customer,
you
have
an
advocate
for
you
kind
of
in
the
world,
almost
like
a
walking
billboard
and
so
with
the
current
loyalty
programs
out
there.
Think
of
them
as
kind
of
two-dimensional.
With
a
nft
or
a
web
3
strategy,
it
gets
much
more
Dynamic
and
deeper
relationships
can
get
built.
There.

Flip
side
of
the
coin
here
is
the
creator
ecosystem.
So,
over
the
past
five
years,
this
ecosystem
has
grown
to
about
100
billion
dollars
and
that's
really
a
good
estimate
of
where
we
are
today.
So
these
are
some
of
the
major
brands.
Major
players
out
there
and
what
is
really
interesting
about
a
lot
of
these
guys
is
the
Creator
on
the
other
side
of
the
market
isn't
receiving
the
full
value
they're.
Actually
providing
these
platforms
are
capturing
much
of
the
value
and
it's
trickling
down
to
the
creators.

But
the
creators
still
see
this
as
opportunistic
because
they
have
distribution.
So
distribution
really
is
the
the
value
provided
that
these
platforms
have
and
that's
what's
created
all
this
value,
and
so
we
have
creators
from
all
walks
of
life.
Either
you
have
your
own
small
business
where
you
are
making
things
and
selling
them
on
Etsy
or
Shopify,
maybe
there's
content
creators
that
are
Distributing
their
content
across
the
various
platforms
and
all
of
these
companies
are
building
very
robust
products
to
help
these
creators
monetize
their
contents.

Think
of
these,
as
made
many
of
the
the
large
creators
that
have
tens
of
thousands,
hundreds
of
thousands
millions
of
people
that
support
them.
The
power
of
these
ecosystem
is
massive,
and
so
this
next

We
Are,
so
we
have
fans
that
follow
you.
These
are
like
your
basic
supporters,
many
of
you
in
the
audience
right
like
you've,
you
you
know
who
I

you've
come

maybe
if
I
had
a
product
to
sell,
would
actually
buy
my
products
and
the
people
that
are
like
the
most
engaged
with
these
creators
that
are
actually
customers
of
these
creators
are
the
addressable
market
for
where
these
nfts
will
initially
land,
and
so
once
these
creators
actually
showcase
the
value
they're
bringing
to
these
nft
holders
that
ecosystem
grows
and
then
over
time
more
and
more
people
will
want
to
be
a
part
of
that
nft
ecosystem.
It's
just.
We
have
this
abstract
thinking
today
of
what's
possible.

We
need
to
figure
that
out
and
that's
where
we're
going.
Everyone
can
and
should
be
a
Creator.
So
this
is
a
graph
of
2021,
where
kind
of
this
craze
of
nfts
really
exploded,
and
so
we
see
we
had
this
I
mean
frankly
exponential
growth,
and
then
we
all
know
this
year
has
been
an
extreme
drop
off,
but
what
this
tells
us
is
the
potential
here.
People
recognize
the
technology
is
extremely
powerful.

With
an
nft
strategy,
the
creators
are
capturing
frankly
close
to
90
percent
of
that
value,
and
they
can
decide
how
they
distribute
that
out
to
the
people
that
are
supporting
them,
and
so
I
have
a
lot
of
thoughts
on
how
creators
can
funnel
value
back
into
supporters.
There
again
is
very
abstract
thinking,
but
to
be
paid
to
be
a
fan
of
somebody
is
much
closer
than
we
actually
realized
today.

And
so
if
a
million
nfts
need
to
be
produced
for
a
specific
Creator,
that's
actually
possible
on
near,
and
so
we
built
an
API.
We
have
the
technology
and
getting
people
to
build
with
the
API
has
Pro
proven
to
be
quite
challenging,
and
so
what
we
did
was
we
took
our
API
and
we
made
a
very
nice
user
interface,
so
anybody
can
use
it
without
the
use
of
code.
So
anybody
in
this
room
any
Creator
any
business
can
actually
launch
an
nft
strategy
for
whatever
they
want
to
do.

To
begin
learning
like
right
now,
we
need
to
be
in
full
learning
mode
and
so
figure
out
what
works
test
a
lot
of
different
strategies
and
then
go
down
that
path
eventually
and
so
I'm
going
to
walk
us

most

have

people
are
having
with
crypto
and

the

of

has
been

important
thing

we've

some
of

applications
that
we've

kind

strategies
we've
built
within

can
almost
think

minting
nfts
as
a
commodity.

this
point,
and
so
our
real
value
add
to
the
ecosystem
is
how
do
you
get
nfts
out,

we
can
send
a
direct
link
to
people.
We
can
have
events
specific
campaigns,
so
if
you're
not
at
the
event,
you
can't
claim
the
nft.

a
fun
social
connection
with
Tick
Tock,
so
you
have
to
verify

Tick
Tock
handle
in
order
to
claim
the
nft,
you
can
sell
nfts

a
credit
card
coming
very
soon
and
then

collect

So
if

have
to

is
the

challenging

follow-on
nft
drops
are
extremely
easy,

you
think
about
big
creators
or
big
brands
that
actually
deploy
an
nft
strategy
and
they're
dropping
nfts
to
their
fans
or
their
customers,
this
is
the
experience.
They'll
have
it'll
immediately
process
their
wallet,
so
they
can
immediately
connect
and
then
claim.

almost
as

marketing
tool,
so
what
we're
building
is
products
that
help
people
really
easily
engage

crypto
technology,

so
we've
recognized
that

future

brand
loyalty

will
be
fully
powered

blockchain
technology
in
the

to
put

concretely

talked
to
a
lot
of
people
as
I
went
around
last
night
at
the
pool
party
and
I'm
really
convinced
that
I
do
need

put
these
slides

So
let's
talk
about
the
difference
between
I've
got
notes.

centralized
exchanges,
the
groups
like
binance
and
Gates
coinbase
and
Kraken,
there's
quite
a
big
variation
between
them
and
Dex.
The
whole
point
of
this
is
to

control

and
controlling

own
Destiny
for
what
happens
because
you're,
relying
only
on

is
the
classical
example
of
an
amm
and

think
refinance

talk
about
aspects

concentrated
liquidity,
but
essentially
it's

the
starting
point
for
a
lot
of
things,
a
lot
of
different
people
coming
in
and
wanting
different
aspects
of
those
to
use
them
together.

came
the
generation
two
amms.
Oh
generation,

dexes,
sorry
generation,

things
like
unisaw
V3,
which
tried
to
deal
with
the
issue
that
a
lot
of
liquidity
committed
to
a
DEX
isn't

utilized
by
pushing
a
slightly
tighter
price
range
around
the
utilization
aspect
and
allowing
therefore
more
of
it
to
be
in
action
at
any
one
point
in
time.
It
is
still
a
bug
there
of
this
form
of
decks.
There
are
lots
of
liquidity
is
not
put
to
work
at
any
point
in
time.

Curve
curve
and
balancer
are
really
really
interesting.
White
papers,
much
less
interesting,
actual
products.
The
white
papers
talk
about
how
you
could
get
the
mathematical
balancing
correctly
of
large
pools
of
different
forms
of
assets
and
in
reality
you
get
three
acids
which
are
basically
wrap.
Forms
of
the
same
thing
sat
in
a
pool
against
each
other
as
a
stable
coin.

They
haven't
worked
in
practice,
whether
they've
not
worked,
because
people
haven't
had
an
education
path
and
the
ux
uis
not
good
enough
to
step
them
through
and
they
may
work
in
the
future
or
they
haven't
worked
because
the
game
theory
optimization
of
the
maths
means
that
that's
not
how
people
want
to
trade.
It's
up
to
people
to
take
away,
but
I,
don't
think
the
solution
long
term
to
Dex
is
is
to
follow
the
balancer
curve
models.

that
gives
us
a
bunch
of
issues
mostly
around
Capital
efficiency
still
to
address,
but
ease
of
access
is
there
and
the
one
thing
that
absolutely
doesn't
work
on
any
of
these
so
far
has
been
supporting
of

liquid
token.

if
you
have
a
project
and
it's
not
a
stable
coin
or
a
top
tier
project,
the
chance
that
a
DEX
is
going
to
work
well
with
you
and
effectively
with
you
and
give
you
liquidity
is
near
zero
and
I'm
going
to
talk
about
how
we
address
that
in
a
minute.

last
part
the
main
role
of
the
decks
here
versus
centralized
exchange.
It's
the
web
three
piece,
it's

is

we

the
giving
block
is
currently
the
largest
crypto
donation
platform
online
and
we
have
pulled
some
statistics
from
them
to
give
you
a
little
ballpark
idea
of
how
much
money
is
actually
being
donated
in
the
crypto
and
nft
spaces.
So,
according
to
the
giving
block,
as
of
December
2021,
approximately
approximately
70
million
USD
was
donated
to
the
giving
blog
in
crypto
donations
and
about
12.3
million
of
that
was
given
as
nft
donations.

this
might
seem
like
a
quite
large
number,
but
once
we
compare
that
to
the
previous
two
slides,
it
only
actually
represents
about
0.007
off
the
total
crypto
crypto
market,
and
only
about
0.03
percent
of
the
nft
market,
not
a
huge
amount
at
all.
So
what
are
we
doing
to
fix
this?
If
you
haven't

noticed

the

we
are
from
fair
and
we
believe

everyone

role
in
making
the

a
better

do
this
by
giving
the
artists
a
platform
to
upload

percentage
of
that
towards
a
charity
or
organization
of
their
choosing

a
little
later

over
the
process
and
how
it
works.

transaction
models,
all
that

why
Fair?

Why
would
we
go
to
Fair
where
we
can
just
donate
it
to
the
giving
blog

we
can
just
donate
in
fiat
currency
once
we
convert
it
or
any

that
stuff?

all
we're
eco-friendly
sorry,
we
built
on
near
for
a
reason.
We
worked
with
a
lot
of
Charities
that
are
eco-sustainable
and
eco-friendly,
and
you

want
to
help
the
environment
and
such
so.
We
wanted
to
build
on
a
platform
that
is
carbon,
neutral
and
sustainable,
which
is
why
we
chose
near.
Secondly,
we
have
a
minimum
of
50
donations.

competitors
in
the
space
that
are
built
on
other
blockchains,
but
their
minimum
donations
are
only
about
five
or
ten
percent,
so
our
value
proposition
here
is
that
we're
actually
focused
on
social
impact
causes.

have

towards
the
Charities
off
the
art
is
choosing,
and,
lastly,
our
ease
of
use.

understand
that
most
Charities
and
non-profit
organizations

very

to
focused
and
are
not

crypto
economy
or
know
too
much
about
crypto.

want
to
provide
impact
by
purchasing
art
and
also
making

contribution

a
charity
that
they
love

maybe
an
artist

they
love
that
supports
that

process.
How
does
it
work?
Well,
I'm,
pretty
sure.
Most
of
you
know
how
an
NFC,
Marketplace
works
and
fair
is
no
different.
The
artist
uploads
their
creation
to
fair
and
choose
an
organization
that
they
want
to
support
and
the
proceeds
get
donated
at
the
points
of
the
transaction.
So
a
donor
will
come
to
Fair.

They
will
view
our
Marketplace,
like
any
other
Marketplace
on
near
or
any
other
blockchain,
and
they
can
search
by
Charities
that
they
want
to
support
or
cool
art
or
any
of
that
stuff
and
once
they
purchase
the
Arts
on
Fair,
the
transaction
is
split
and
half
of
the
proceeds
or
more
depending
on
the
Artist's
Choice
will
go
towards
the
charity
and
the
artists.

transaction
model
here
I've

this
quite
a
lot

the
past
two

to
sort

make
an

been

for

has
minted
and
put
on
fare

who
was
haitian-born
and
lives
in

York

what

individuals
and
they
promote
their
art
through
galleries
in
Haiti
in
New
York,

we
want

sort
of
bring
that
to
the
digital
space.

adamantly
on

is
actually

stream

so
smart

believe

can
roll
into
the

can
put
all

elements,

can
place
all

license
