A
So
the
two
types
of
accounts,
so
there's
the
personal
account-
that's
your
user
account.
That
is
a
private
account,
belongs
to
just
you,
it's
associated
with
your
login
or
username,
and
it
provides
two
things:
authentication
which
is
your
personal
identity
and
authorization
which
determines
what
you're
allowed
to
access.
A
A
It's
not
really
calculated
in
dollars,
since
the
government
pays
for
it,
but
that's
just
kind
of
the
idea
that
we're
using
it's
managed
by
the
principal
investigator
and
optionally
one
or
more
project
managers,
the
ones
I
mentioned
above
all.
Mpp
users
belong
to
at
least
one
repository
or
project,
and
an
individual
can
belong
to
more
than
one
project
a
repository,
but
they
will
have
one
default
project
designated
and
that
can
be
set.
An
iris
which
we'll
talk
about
later
on
and
next.
A
A
Okay,
so
our
account
policies,
so
all
users
must
sign
an
appropriate
use
policy
form.
This
is
currently
integrated
into
the
account
request
process,
so
you
fill
out
a
form
to
request
an
account
before
you
submit
it.
You'll
be
shown
the
appropriate
use
policies.
You
have
to
agree
to
a
click
on
a
CAPTCHA
thing
or
Google
I
forget
which
one
it
is
one
of
those
things
that
proves
that
you're,
not
a
robot
it.
You
can
also
go
and
look
at
the
go
back
and
look
at
the
actual
policies.
A
If
you
use
this
URL
iris,
not
nurse
/
AAUP,
so
we
have
our
password
policies.
Currently,
it's
set.
You
have
to
change
your
password
every
six
months
that
will
soon
be
changing
to
one
year.
If
you
haven't
changed
your
password
in
this
past
six
months,
you
probably
recently
received
an
email,
saying:
hey,
you
got
a
keep
up
to
date.
A
You
should
not
share
your
password
with
anybody
and
we
don't
need
to
know
what
your
password
is.
So
please
do
not
email
it
to
us.
If
you
do
that,
we'll
have
to
disable
your
account
and
force
you
to
reset
it
one
more
time
when
you're
trying
to
access
systems
like
Cori,
you
will
get
logged
out
if
you
enter
your
logins
incorrectly,
your
password
incorrectly
five
times,
but
you
can
log
into
iris
to
automatically
clear
those
of
course.
A
A
Next,
so
password
rolls.
So
when
you
set
a
password,
we
have
a
little
password
strength,
meter
and
your
password
has
to
register
as
either
safe
or
very
safe.
There's
no
complexity,
rules
regarding
whether
you
have
to
use
upper
and
lower
case
it's
special
characters,
but
some
of
you
who
might
have
been
around
for
a
while.
You
know
we've.
A
There
are
passwords
that
sometimes
do
get
past
the
strength
meter,
but
we
do
encourage
you
to
try
and
come
up
with
something
it's
either
more
complicated
or
like
this
new
method
of
using
the
words
that
you
can
remember,
concatenated
together
and
this
okay,
that's
alright!
So
in
addition
to
your
password,
we're
also
using
multi-factor
authentication.
A
And
this
is
a
little
example
of
when
you
log
into
iris,
and
you
go
to
the
MFA
tab
on
the
left
here.
You'll
see,
there's
a
place
where
you
can
add
a
description
of
your
token
and
then
a
button
below
that
to
add
it
and
when
you
click
on
that
button
on
the
right,
you'll
should
be
presented
with
this
QR
code
and
some
other
information
to
use
for
either
syncing
up
with
the
Authenticator
app
or
your
software.
A
A
A
We
also
collect
for
renewals
the
publications
that
you've
generated
over
the
past
year
using
nurse
resources.
That's
one
way
that
we
collect
information
on
the
publications,
it's
rare
that
a
project
only
lasts
for
one
year
and
doesn't
renew
so
that's.
This
is
the
easiest
way
for
us
right
now
to
collect
publication
information,
it's
just
included
in
the
or
cap
renewal
request.
A
These
requests
are
reviewed
by
the
DOA
office
of
science
program
allocation
managers.
They
provide
the
awards
and
the
awards
are
for
approved
projects
or
announced
in
late
fall.
Actually
early
December,
the
nurse
gal
occation
year
starts
in
January,
and
her
cap
request
for
new
projects
can
actually
be
submitted
throughout
the
year,
not
just
during
the
cap
renewals
time
timeframe.
A
We
have
what
we
call
exploratory
allocations,
those
are
for
people
who
want
to
get
started
with
nurse
and
haven't
used
our
system
before
and
just
need
to
dip
their
toe
into
high-performance
computing.
Those
will
also
get
go
through
do
e
to
be
reviewed
and
approved,
and
they
will
also
have
to
be
renewed
for
the
upcoming
year.
Next.
A
Okay
Rebecca
talked
about
how
we
distribute
our
time.
We
have
approximately
nine
point
two
three
billion
MPP
hours
for
this
year
and,
as
she
said,
eighty
percent
of
that
goes
to
regular
dealing
do
e
emission
science.
Ten
percent
goes
to
the
al-sisi
Oscar
leadership.
Computing
challenge,
that's
a
separate
request
process
that
they
put
out
and
they
do
their
own
reviews
and
make
their
own
awards,
and
we
just
provide
the
computing
time
and
resources
here
at
nurse
we
have
a
directors
reserve.
A
A
A
Typically,
the
office
of
science
programs
will
keep
some
time
back,
although
sometimes
there's
a
run
and
they
don't
have
any
time
left
and
we
kind
of
stuck
in
overrun
queue.
But
again.
So
if
the
project
runs
at
a
time,
you
can
still
run
a
job
it'll
go
into
the
overrun
queue.
It
gets
a
low
priority,
but
at
least
you're
not
totally
stuck
in
the
water
and
next.
A
Okay,
so
there's
a
question:
what
are
penalties
are
running
in
the
overrun
queue
other
than
the
fact
that
it's
very
low
priority
I,
don't
believe
there
is
any,
but
I'll
leave
that
to
the
people
who
are
more
familiar
with
that
to
answer
anyway.
Here
are
some
resources
from
the
different
URLs
and
where
you
can
find
other
information
about
your
accounts
allocations,
how
how
usage
is
charged,
setting
up
your
MFA,
etc.
A
If
you
want
to
contact
us
and
you
need
to
help
the
help
dot
nurse,
that
gov
is
our
helpdesk
system,
you
can
log
in
there
with
your
username
password
and
MFA
one-time
password
and
submit
a
trouble
ticket
or
you
can
send
email
to
either
accounts
inertia
for
account,
problems,
allocations
at
nurse
dog
up
for
allocation
support
problems
and
I.
Think
that
should
be
it
now.
