A
E
E
Also,
I
would
like
to
today
is
george
washington's
birthday.
His
289th
birthday,
may
I
say
the
father
of
our
country,
and
I
would
like
to
debunk
a
common
myth
about
our
president
that
washington
had
wooden
teeth
throughout
his
life.
He
used
numerous
full
and
partial
dentures
that
were
constructed
in
materials,
including
human
cow
horse,
teeth,
ivory,
lead,
tin,
alloy,
copper,
alloy,
silver
alloy,
but
wood
was
never
used.
E
A
mail
packet
that
included
a
personal
letter
from
washington,
requesting
dental
cleaning
tools
had
been
intercepted
by
the
british
and
convinced
them
that
the
command
that
was
the
washington
forces,
would
stay
in
camp
near
new
york.
Instead,
washington
and
francis
wanchambao
began
their
southern
march
south
to
trap
lord
khan
wallace
at
yorktown
enforcing
his
surrender.
E
With
that
in
mind,
I
will
be
introducing
a
bill
shortly,
that
authorizes
licensed
dentists,
dental
hygienists
and
dental
therapists
to
administer
all
vaccines,
increasing
the
availability
of
health,
improving
our
health
throughout
nevada.
I
would
like
your
support.
I
thank
you
for
this
time
and
thank
you,
mr
speaker,.
F
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
Today
I
would
like
to
wish
a
happy
late
birthday
to
someone
who
also
does
not
have
wooden
teeth
to
assembly
minority
leader
from
assembly
district
38,
who
celebrated
her
birthday
yesterday
in
1989,
she
was
profiled
in
the
los
angeles
times
as
the
only
rural
family
practice
doctor
in
a
50
mile
radius.
F
F
She
for
went
the
big
city
lucrative
practice
and
instead
followed
her
path
laid
out
by
her
mentor,
dr
mary
fullstone,
who
inspired
her
as
a
high
school
senior
to
think
about
studying
medicine.
She
told
the
young
student.
Someone
must
take
my
place.
You
should
be
that
person
that
really
stuck
with
her.
She
worked
40
hour
40
hour
weeks,
went
to
school
full
time
and
paid
her
paid
her
way
through
the
university
of
reno
nevada.
Reno.
F
Then,
then,
lyon,
county
board
of
county
commissioners
voted
to
lend
her
twenty
eight
thousand,
the
twenty
eight
thousand
dollars
she
needed
to
compete
complete
her
three
years
of
medical
school.
In
return,
she
promised
to
serve
the
people
of
lyon
county
and
go
back
home
and
follow
in
the
footsteps
of
her
mentor,
dr
mary,
who
retired
in
1980
at
the
age
of
88..
F
Our
call
our
colleague,
paid
back
the
loan
and
followed
through
with
her
commitment
to
serve
the
rural
community
as
a
37-year
family
practice
physician.
She
is
a
woman
of
principle,
conviction
and
a
source
of
strength.
We
are
honored
to
have
her
as
our
colleague
and
one
of
our
leaders
and,
most
importantly,
our
friend,
please
join
me
in
wishing
the
honorable
representative
from
assembly
district
38
a
very
happy
birthday.
Thank
you,
mr.
C
G
I'm
representing
assembly
district
17
in
beautiful
north
las
vegas,
and
during
this
honorable
time
of
commemorating
those
in
american
black
history,
I
would
like
to
celebrate
and
pay
homage
to
ida
b
wells
1862-1931,
a
civil
rights
activist
and
african-american
journalist,
who
led
an
anti-lynching
crusade
in
the
united
states
in
the
1890s,
using
statistics
and
quantitative
data.
Ms
wells
concluded
that
lynching
was
a
means
to
keep
blacks
who
were
very
economically
competitive.
At
this
point
to
keep
blacks
down.
