A
Good

Will
the

C
C
A
And
I
am
present,
thank
you.
We
have
all
12
members
here
we
have
a
quorum
so
with
that
I'd
like
to
welcome
everyone
to
watching
at
home,
listening
over
the
internet
to
this
virtual
meeting,
our
meetings
for
the
time
being
will
usually
be
held.
This
format
only
regularly
scheduled
for
4
pm
on
tuesdays
and
thursdays
some
housekeeping
before
we
begin
members
and
presenters,
please
silent
your
electronic
devices.
A
Courtesy
is
expected
in
our
interactions
during
the
meeting
and
also
in
dealing
with
staff
before
after
meetings
committee
members
will
be
using
our
laptops,
but
also
possibly
other
devices
in
order
to
participate
in
the
meeting
and
view
exhibits
like
work
sessions
document
that
type
of
thing.
So
please
don't
see
it
as
a
sign
of
disrespect
or
inattention,
we're
just
trying
to
navigate
our
new
way
of
life.
A
A
People
who
wish
to
provide
testimony
or
attend
the
meeting
virtually
must
pre-register

A
So
with
that
today
we
have
our
work
session
on
three
bills
and
right
now
I'll
open
up
our
work
session,
starting
with
assembly
bill.
Nine
and
I'll
turn
it
over
to
mr
nakama
nakamoto.
D
This
bill
was
heard
in
this
committee
on
february
11,
and
it
was
sponsored
by
this
committee
on
behalf
of
the
department
of
taxation
assembly,
bill
9
revises
confidentiality
provisions
contained
in
chapters
360
of
the
nevada,
revised
statutes
to
department
of
taxation
to
disclose,
in
confidence
certain
confidential
taxpayer,
information
to
the
budget
division
of
the
governor's
office
of
finance
for
the
use
and
projection
of
revenue.
There
was
testimony
from
director,
young
and
chief
executive
director
hughes
from
the
department
of
taxation,
as
well
as
deputy
director
tiffany
greenmeyer
from
the
governor's
office
of
finance.
D
C
A
Think
the
vice
chair
was
first,
so
I
have
a
motion
to
do
house
from
the
vice
chair.
Do
we
have
a
second.
C
A
Okay,
seeing
none
we
will
do
a
roll
call
vote
on
the
motion.
Those
are
in
favor
of
the
motion
should
say:
yes,
those
are
opposed
should
say
no
and
at
this
time
the
secretary
please
take.
C
C
C
C
A
Yes,
so
with
that
the
motion
passes
for
the
work
session.
I
will
assign
that
to
assemblywoman
bilbray.
D
Thank
you,
madam
chair
again
for
the
record,
michael
nacomoto,
with
the
fiscal
analysis
division
assembly
bill
13
was
heard
in
this
committee
on
february
25th
and
was
sponsored
by
the
assembly
committee
on
government
affairs
on
behalf
of
the
state
controller
assembly.
Bill
13
revises
the
information
that
the
state
controller
must
include
in
the
annual
report
of
certain
financial
information
that
is
provided
to
the
governor
and
the
legislature
pursuant
to
nrs
227.110.
D
There
was
testimony
from
the
state
controller
and
her
chief
deputy,
as
well
as
the
former
state
controller
ms
wallen.
There
was
no
testimony
in
opposition
to
the
bill
and
no
amendments
were
proposed.
I
would
be
glad
to
answer
any
questions
if
there
aren't
thank
you.
A
A
Okay,
I'm
seeing
none.
I
will
entertain
a
motion
to
do
pass
in
assembly
bill
13.
A
Okay,
I
have
a
motion
from
I
believe
that
was
assemblyman
yeager.
Do
I
have
a
second
second?
It
was
second
from
assemblywoman
casama.
A
Okay,
at
this
time,
seeing
no
discussion,
I
will
ask
the
secretary
to
please
take
roll.
C
C
C
C
A
And
I'm
a
yes
so
that
motion
does
pass.
I
will
ask
assemblywoman
kasama
to
please
take
the
floor
statement
with
that.
We
will
move
on
to
the
final
bill,
which
is
assembly
bill
69,
mr
nakamoto,
if
you
would,
please
provide
us
with
the
summary.
D
It
makes
several
changes
to
provisions
in
chapter
231
of
the
nevada,
revised
statutes
relating
to
the
office
of
economic
development.
Specifically,
there
are
seven
changes
that
are
made
in
the
bill.
The
first
is
that
the
definition
of
motion
pictures
is
amended
to
include
feature
films,
programs
made
for
broadcast
or
other
electronic
transmission
commercials
and
other
audio
visual
media.
D
Second,
the
director
of
the
department
of
business
and
industry
is
added
as
a
non-voting
member
to
the
board
of
economic
development.
Third,
the
provisions
relating
to
the
board
are
amended
such
that
a
majority
of
the
voting
members
of
the
board
constitutes
a
quorum
and,
if
a
quorum
is
president,
the
affirmative
motion.
Vote
of
a
majority
of
the
voting
members
of
the
board
that
are
present
is
sufficient
for
any
official
action
taken
by
the
board.
The
fourth
changes-
the
division
of
motion
pictures-
has
changed
the
nevada
film
office.
D
D
There
is
an
amendment
to
the
bill.
If
you
look
at
the
second
page
of
the
work
session
document
for
av,
69
you'll
see
just
a
summary
of
it
and
there's
some
intended
language
that
was
submitted
by
the
governor's
economic
of
office
of
economic
development
on
the
third
page.
D
What
it
would
do
is
would
clarify
the
language
on
in
section
2,
subsection
of
the
bill
which
currently
states
that
if
there
is
a
a
majority
of
the
voting
members
presence,
would
it
constitute
a
sufficient
action
for
the
any
action
by
the
board.
D
The
governor's
office
of
economic
development
wishes
to
clarify
that
so,
rather
than
it
being
a
majority
of
the
voting
members
present,
it
would
be
a
majority
of
all
voting
members,
which
would
mean
that
there
would
have
to
be
at
least
five
affirmative
votes
to
take
action
for
the
board
under
this
amendment,
rather
than
as
few
as
three
under
the
language.
In
the
bill
of
that
madam
chair,
I
would
like
to
answer
any
questions.
Thank
you.
A
A
Okay,
seeing
none.
I
will
entertain
a
motion
to
amend
and
you
pass.
A
Goed,
as
discussed
in
the
work
session
document,
sorry
do
I
have
a
motion.
C
A
Thank
you.
Okay,
with
that,
madam
secretary,
will
you
please
call
the
role.
A
Oh,
I'm
I'm
sorry,
I'm
sorry!
Madam
secretary,
do
we
have
any
discussion
on
the.
C
C
C
A
Yes,
so
the
motion
passes
as
amended
and
I'll
do
the
floor
statement.
So
with
that
we
are
done
with
our
bills
and
we
will
move
on
to
public
comment.
Do
we
have
any
public
comment.
A
Okay,
thank
you.
So
do
we
have
any
comments
from
any
of
the
members.
A
And
so
with
that,
every
time
has
to
happen
at
least
once
so.
With
that
I
will
bring
the
work
session
to
a
close.
Oh
you
guys
got
that
already.
Do
we
have
any
comments
from
the
members
before
we
close
the
meeting,
okay,
seeing
none,
we
will
bring
the
meeting
to
a
close
and
we
will
post
our
next
agenda
when
we've
got
one
and
so
just
stay
tuned.
For
that.
A
Thank
you.
We're.
