A
A
Good
morning,
everyone-
I
am
here
so
with
that-
I
believe
we
can
go
ahead
and
proceed.
The
meeting
has
been
posted.
Everyone
by
now
should
be
aware
of
how
to
access
the
meeting
through
nellis
the
so
with
that
on
our
agenda.
Today
we
have
a
work
session
for
ab86.
A
We
did
just
talk
about
this
bill
last
monday,
so
with
that
miss
kaufman,
are
you
going
to
walk
us
through
the
work
session
document.
C
Yes,
madam
chair,
I
can
certainly
do
that
so
assembly
bill
86
was
heard
in
assembly
committee
on
ways
and
means
on
april
5th.
2021
the
bill
revises
the
circumstances
under
which
a
person
firm
association
or
agency
may
be
liable
for
expenses
and
costs
incurred
in
extinguishing
wildfires
bill
also
removes
the
requirement
that
a
fire
or
other
emergency
must
have
threatened
the
human
life
for
expenses
to
be
recovered.
C
C
A
Thank
you
very
much,
ms
kaufman.
I
know
that
miss
peters
had
shared
with
us,
an
amendment
that
she
is
is
working
on,
but
it
had
nothing
to
do
with
the
fiscal
side.
Therefore,
we
didn't
talk
about
it
or
or
process
it.
That
will
happen
at
another
time.
We're
here
to
just
deal
with
the
fiscal
component.
So
are
there
any
questions
of
miss
kaufman
and
or
miss
peters
is
on
the
committee
of
those
two
before
I
accept
a
motion
to
process
this
bill.
A
Not
seeing
any
assembly
woman
titus
you're
waiting,
I
apologize.
I
apologize
I'm
absolutely
to
this.
I'm
going
to
vote
this
out
committee
but
reserve
my
right.
I
haven't
seen
the
amendment
yet
and
just
voting
on
something
that
I
haven't
actually
read
to
understand.
It
full
implications.
I
know
that's
not
for
the
money
committee,
but
it
may
change
how
I
vote
on
the
floor.
So
thank
you,
madam
chair
and
and
and
dr
titus.
A
That
would
be
your
vote
on
the
amendment
not
on
the
vote
coming
out
of
this
committee,
so
it
would
be
a
totally
different
action,
but
thank
you
for
the
heads
up.
So
with
that.
Are
there
any
other
comments
from
any
other
committee
members
at
this
time
did
I
need
to
say
ditto
for
any
other
members
on
that.
A
Anna,
mr
lovett
and
a
ditto
for
mr
roberts
is
that
correct,
yes,
ma'am,
chair
and
and
just
for
clarification
we
are
not
considering
the
amendment
we
are
only
considering
the
bill.
You
will
be
voting
on
the
amendment
in
a
different
different
form,
so
we
are
merely
sending
the
bill
back
to
the
floor.
So
with
that,
if
I
could
go
ahead
and
have
committee
staff
call
the
role
please.
A
A
A
A
A
A
Yes,
thank
you
all
very
much.
The
motion
passes
so
with
that
assembly
bill
86
will
go
back
to
the
be
reported
back
to
the
floor.
Our
next
order
of
business
is
a
bill.
Introduction,
vdr
23-1083
revises
provisions
relating
to
juvenile
justice,
designating
criminal
investigators
employed
by
the
division
of
child
and
family
services
of
the
department
of
health
and
human
services
as
category
2
peace
officers
and
providing
other
matters
properly
relating
there
too.
So
with
that,
I
would
accept
a
motion
to
introduce.
A
Bdr23-1083
I'll
take
the
motion
from
miss
badinas
thompson
and
a
second
from
vice
chair,
danielle,
monroe,
moreno,
any
questions
or
comments
on
the
motion.
A
Gearing
none
stanford,
you
could
call
the
roll
please.
A
C
A
A
And
yes,
the
motion
passes
unanimously
of
the
members
president.
That
is
our
business
before
us.
Today.
Committee
enjoy
these
light
days
because
it's
going
to
change
real
quick
real
soon.
So
with
that,
the
only
thing
left
on
our
agenda
for
today
would
be
public
comment.
So
we'll
give
broadcast
services
a
moment
to
cue
up
any
possible
public
comment
for
this
morning.
So
we'll
stand
at
ease
for
a.
