providers

completed
219
veteran
cases
and
have
donated
over
one
million
one
hundred
twenty
thousand
twenty
nine
dollars
in
dental
services
for
our
veterans,

aavd
completed
dental
care

21
women
veterans

25
veterans
living
in
rural
areas,
surpassing
our
promise
to
the
state
last
session
to
reach
out
to
15
more
veterans
for
each
of
these
under-deserved
veteran
populations
after
years
of
research
and
development.

have
talked

many
legislators
on

and
part
of
the

that
we
always
receive
is
why

of

program

fiscal

we

actually
going
to
be
a
whole
nevada
program.

july
1st
2021,
we
will
be
in
las
vegas
in
the
southern
area
and
we'll
be
starting
the
program
there
as
well.

funding

were
willing

remove

tooth

found
myself

mirror,

four
teeth
that
were
absolutely
killing
me
at
dentists.

required

myself

front

mirror
talking

myself
through
the
agony
that
I
knew
I
was

to
feel
if
there
was
a

properly

feeling

I

using
those
pliers

remove

teeth
without
being
numb.

would
but
there
just
isn't
there
just
isn't
at
this
point
I
had
no
smile
could
not
eat
solid
food
was
depressed
and
struggling
to
get
a
job.
With
the
smile
that
I
had.

spoke
to
my
primary
physician
at
the
va
and
he
gave
me
a
list
of
dentists
that
may
be
able
to
help
adopt
a
vet
was
the
only
one
who
returned
my
call
willing
to
help.
I
was
then
put
on
a
waiting
list.
Some
months
later,
I
received
the
call.
I
was
finally
going
to
be
seen
by
a
dentist
to
begin
treatment.

Thanks
to
this
program,
I
am
now
able
to
eat
healthy
foods.
I
do
not
feel
depressed
anymore.
I'm
able
to
command
a
better
paying
job
where
I
can
smile
and
communicate
with
customers
without
feeling
ashamed.
This
double
avd
program

you

graciously
supported
through
funding
has
saved
my
life.

cohort

never

the
middle

weekly
calls

members

the
governor's
economic
advisory

had
comprehensive
conversation

inverse

projects

estimated

over
12
500
jobs
at

state's
average
wage
and
over
9.6
billion.

capital
investment,
additionally,
we
currently

projects

hold
in
the

of

are

kind

fiscal
impact

There
are
no
fiscal
notes,
but
there
were
two
amendments
coming
out
of
the
senate
side
of
this
bill
that
do
affect
the
fiscal
nature
of
the
language.

this
statute,
the
first
is
around
ensuring
that
spending
is
prioritized,
so
they
a
limit
was
placed
on
overhead
and
a
language
which
we
are
supportive
of,
and
the
second
one,
of
course,
is
the
language
at
the
end
of
this
bill
regarding
reversion,
and
so
there
was
language
added,
removing
that
reversion
requirement
to
afford
us
some
business
continuity.
So
we
can
entertain
projects
that
we
haven't
been
able
to
entertain
before
and
give
us
some
flexibility
in
projects,
no
matter
where
they
come
to
us
in
the
biennium.

license

them

attend
schools

people
transferring
to
another
school,
whatever
the
case,
people
graduating
high
school
in
nevada
and
then
choosing
to
go
to
school
outside
the
state

their
teaching
degree

those

apply
in
this
situation

far

being
eligible
for
the
scholarship.

recruit
provisions,

worked

conversations

waivers
and
scholarships
and
dual
enrollment

waiving
fees
over

over
again

different
things
to
be
able
to
actually
have
some
real
data
on
some
of
this,
I
think
could
be
helpful.
It's
just
typically.
We
don't
do
studies
quite
like
this.

ask

committee

education

it,

think
they're
probably
going
to
have
their
work
cut
out
for
them
over
this
next
interim,
so
being
able
to
do
it

way,
it's

an
option,
so
we

move
forward

in

that

trying
to
find
the
appropriate
funds.

pandemic
raised
demands
for
government
work
and
services
in
many
new,
unexpected
and
rapidly
changing
ways.
For
example,
the
rapid
transition
to
remote
work
required
more
automated
business
processes,
so
agencies
can
operate
with
minimal
paper
and
in-office
staff.
It's
also
important
that
these
remote
capabilities
do
not
compromise
I.t
security
or
data
privacy.

As
we
look
ahead
to
the
post-pandemic
future,
we
need
to
acknowledge
the
revenue
decline,
which
makes
it
vital
to
identify
every
opportunity
for
cost
control
and
operational
efficiencies.
In
addition,
we
need
a
resilient
technology
platform
to
maintain
service
continuity
during
unforeseen
conditions
that
stress
or
disrupt
the
business
environment.
The
I.t
modernization
needs
vary
between
state
agencies,
but
ultimately
it
is
necessary
to
leverage
technology
to
meet
expanding
goals
and
streamline
services
offered
to
our
residents
and
consumers.

imposes

fee
specifically
dedicated
to
improving
the
technology
needs
of
the
real
estate
division
of
the
department
of
business
and
industry
senate
bill.

fee

the

of
renewal
of
certain
licenses,
certificates
permits
and
registration
issues
by
the
issued

the
real

the
bill

real
estate
brokers
and
salespersons
645c
appraisers
of
real
estate
and
appraiser
and
appraisal
management
companies,
645

inspectors
of
structural
and
energy
audits,

asset
management
companies
and
asset
managers
and
119a
timeshares
of
the
nevada,
revised
statutes
in
the
state
general
fund
administered
by
the
division.
Any
interest
or
income
earned
must
be
accredited
to
the
accounts
in
any
remaining
balance
in
the
account
does
not
revert
to
the
state
general
fund.

continuing
education,
you
take
a
class
currently
with
the
system
that
the
real
estate
division
is
using.
You
have
to
keep
a
copy,
a
physical
copy
of
the
certificate
when
you
take
the
class
and
then
when
you
go
to
red
to
to
turn
your
stuff
in
for
your
to
register
for
your
license,
you
have
to
have
all
the
pieces
of
paper
and,
if
you're
missing
one,
you
have
to
try
to
go
back
to
the
people
that
you
received
at
one,
so
they
don't
have
the
ability
to
electronically
be
able
to
do
that.

We
have
as
part
of
the
budget
and
an
upgrade
to
the
real
estate
division's
computer
system.
What
this
fee
would
do
is
would
allow
them
to
continue
to
maintain
that
system.
During
the
the
the
pandemic,
we've
actually
had
a
lot
more
realtors
that
have
gone
and
gotten
their
license,
and
so
there's
over.
I
can't
remember
the
number
now
it's
over
30
000
or
40
000
realtors,
real
estate
agents,
and
so
this
is
something
that
they
they
came
to
me
and
said.
This
is
something
that
we
want.

very
important
priority
for
the
division
and
I
think
the
pandemic

kind

put
a
spotlight

some
of
the
lack
of
resources,

so
I
think
it
is

important
for
us.

one
thing

I

quickly
mention
is:
this
is
a
two
year
renewal
cycle,
so
this
fee
would
be
applicable
every
two
years
for
licensed
disease,
so
that
was
the
other
